00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
00:00:39.480 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.180 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.
00:00:50.040 Fireworks and celebrations in the streets of Pakistan after India and Pakistan reached a ceasefire deal.
00:00:56.360 The ceasefire agreement was mediated by the U.S.
00:00:59.480 The U.S. and China just put out a joint statement overnight, agreeing to a temporary but significant easing of those tariffs.
00:01:07.800 For now, though, it's only a 90-day pause.
00:01:10.280 But investors are certainly welcoming this news, with futures already jumping nearly 1,000 points to start the week.
00:01:17.360 You will have a better life than your parents, which working-class Americans had abandoned that idea.
00:01:21.580 Your family will own a home.
00:01:23.860 You will be able to advance.
00:01:26.960 You will have a good education.
00:01:28.320 You will have economic freedom.
00:01:30.400 That's what we are advancing.
00:01:32.260 In a potential turning point in the war in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky says he's now prepared to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin this week.
00:01:40.620 Zelensky's willingness comes after President Trump urged him to immediately accept the Putin offer to hold peace talks.
00:01:47.060 Those talks are said to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday.
00:01:51.040 It will be the first time these two leaders have met since the Russia-Ukraine war began three years ago.
00:01:56.740 Putin's offer to sit down with Zelensky came after France, Britain, Germany, and Poland gave Russia an ultimatum over the weekend,
00:02:03.340 agreeing to an unconditional 30-day ceasefire by Monday or face new sanctions.
00:02:07.760 If I thought it would be helpful, I don't know where I'm going to be at that particular point.
00:02:12.380 I'll be someplace in the Middle East, but I would fly there if I thought it would be helpful.
00:02:15.900 President Trump is about to sign an executive order that he says will cut the price of prescription drugs.
00:02:21.200 It will establish a rule that the White House says will allow the U.S. to pay prices that other countries pay for drugs.
00:02:27.760 The bill, Bobby, come on over here.
00:02:30.260 Now you're talking about tribulation.
00:02:31.700 There has never been a president more willing to stand up to the oligarchs than President Donald Trump.
00:02:41.480 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:02:45.640 We are here live, yes, in Washington, D.C.
00:02:48.960 We are back from our international trip, and today is May 12th, 2025, Anno Domini.
00:02:56.600 So, yes, as you know, I'm sure you saw last week and throughout the weekend, my brother and I, as well as the Human Events team,
00:03:04.300 thanks to the great folks over at Catholics for Catholics for Underwriting and the War Room,
00:03:09.740 we went to the Papal Conclave, and we went to report on there, everything that was happening inside, behind the scenes,
00:03:16.680 even all the way up, Kevin Posobiec, all the way up on the roof of the Vatican itself,
00:03:22.700 St. Peter's Basilica as the new Pope emerged, and we're going to have to get Kevin back on the show here this week
00:03:31.720 to really describe the sights and sounds of it, because, you know, some connection issues while we were there,
00:03:36.980 50,000 people in St. Peter's Square, you can imagine.
00:03:41.380 The energy was off the charts, but then the shock, an American Pope,
00:03:46.760 someone who we've heard quite a bit from him as well as his brother.
00:03:50.020 By the way, I saw the brother's tweets. Boy, I would love, and I'm just going to say it right now,
00:03:54.980 for Pope Leo's brother, Lou, Lou, Human Events Daily would be more than happy to sponsor a trip for you,
00:04:04.080 all expenses paid to fly to Rome and spend some quality time with your little brother,
00:04:10.240 and particularly have a conversation on where it is that the people of Florida
00:04:15.700 and the Catholics in America stand on our president and our vice president, J.D. Vance,
00:04:23.380 as well as the issue of illegal immigration.
00:04:28.060 Now, we understand, of course, that the new Pope is a believer in the rule of law,
00:04:32.920 and I certainly hope that that stands.
00:04:34.700 But what we've heard so much is that this is a big play being pushed by the cardinals in Rome
00:04:39.780 for what? The big money in the United States, the money that was cut off
00:04:44.640 when Doge and the Trump administration cut off Catholic charities
00:04:48.260 from this huge pot of taxpayer money,
00:04:52.440 because illegal immigration is big business.
00:04:55.980 Open Borders, Inc. is exactly what's going on.
00:05:00.240 And so the question is, for the Vatican, which people need to understand, is broke right now.
00:05:06.420 They've got a cash flow issue.
00:05:08.120 Is that what the new Pope is trying to turn back on?
00:05:12.600 And will this be an antagonist for President Trump?
00:05:16.180 All this and more coming up today, Human Events Daily, and we have Roger Stone speaking.
00:05:20.120 I understand what America first truly means.
00:05:28.100 Welcome to the second American revolution.
00:05:34.860 All right, Jack Pozova, here we are back live, Human Events Daily.
00:05:39.340 Pozo back from the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, where we all were all last week,
00:05:44.960 as well as stopping by Bucharest, Romania, to interview the top candidate for the presidency there.
00:05:52.560 We'll get into all that and more coming up ahead.
00:05:54.980 I want to also bring in the third hour of the Charlie Kirk Show here on the Salem Radio Network.
00:05:59.460 Folks, there is a dirty little secret in the mobile phone industry
00:06:02.880 that the major carriers don't want you to know about.
00:06:05.880 Did you know that the three big mobile companies own all the towers in the United States?
00:06:11.580 It's true.
00:06:12.520 So if that's the case, then what's the difference between the carriers?
00:06:15.460 Well, there's only one which actually lives by the same values as you.
00:06:19.760 And only one allows you to choose the best network for you.
00:06:23.660 That's Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
00:06:27.940 And the only one that allows you access to all three networks.
00:06:31.460 Keep your phone, keep your number, and now keep your values too.
00:06:35.060 With Patriot Mobile, you know that none of your money is going to the woke left,
00:06:38.860 DEI, or causes that have put America last.
00:06:42.260 If you are worried about switching, don't.
00:06:44.220 Their U.S.-based customer service team makes switching easy,
00:06:46.880 and you will get the same service without compromising quality or convenience
00:06:51.300 just to go to patriotmobile.com slash POSO or call 972-PATRIOT right now.
00:06:56.020 Get a free month of service with promo code POSO.
00:06:59.700 Don't get fooled by other mobile providers that pretend to share your values.
00:07:04.360 Support one that actively supports the First and Second Amendments,
00:07:07.740 the sanctity of life, our brave veterans, and first responders.
00:07:11.200 Make the switch today.
00:07:13.200 It's patriotmobile.com slash POSO or call 972-PATRIOT.
00:07:17.500 I want to welcome veteran political strategist Roger Stone here on the program on Human Events.
00:07:23.620 Roger, how are you?
00:07:25.340 Great to be with you, and great to see you back home safe from the conclave.
00:07:30.960 Thank you, Roger.
00:07:31.800 Roger, I know you've attended a number of conventions.
00:07:36.060 Have you ever attended a conclave before?
00:07:39.120 I can't say I have, and I must say that the outcome of this conclave was somewhat surprising.
00:07:47.200 Now, when you understand that 80% of the cardinals who had the ability to vote were handpicked by Pope Francis,
00:07:56.220 the outcome, meaning the conclave producing a moderate to progressive Pope is really not surprising.
00:08:07.480 I would have preferred, you know, Cardinal Erdo or Cardinal Serra.
00:08:13.280 Those were my emotional favorites.
00:08:16.240 But as you know, I wrote a couple of long pieces, came on your show, did an in-depth analysis, kind of the horse race for Pope.
00:08:24.620 But I have to admit that Robert Provost, now Pope Leo, was not on my list.
00:08:30.420 I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.
00:08:34.160 He is clearly very solid on some of the church's traditional positions.
00:08:39.440 For example, he doesn't buy into any of this gender nonsense.
00:08:43.700 He's solid on the right to life, on the priesthood to continue to be maintained for men.
00:08:49.940 But I don't like the fact that he is not speaking from the throne of Peter, but just speaking in a pastoral sense.
00:08:58.900 He's opposed President Trump and Vice President Vance on the very important issue of illegal immigrants.
00:09:06.640 He seems to favor an open borders policy, which is hard to reconcile with the fact that, of course,
00:09:13.280 the Vatican, where he is going to live and work, has very high walls and very tight security.
00:09:20.660 So it's hard to reconcile those two.
00:09:23.780 Well, Roger, and certainly security was paramount when my brother and I were there,
00:09:29.260 as well as the Human Events team.
00:09:30.620 Producer Russ came out from Phoenix there in St. Peter's Square.
00:09:35.620 And one of the things that I think that, you know, we've learned just from being on the ground
00:09:40.140 and pulling some sources together was one of the big rumors going around was this question of Cardinal Parolin.
00:09:45.980 So Cardinal Parolin, the Secretary of State of the Vatican, actually has to be seen whether or not
00:09:49.960 he'll be staying on in that capacity, was widely seen as the frontrunner by the media and many others
00:09:55.780 going into the conclave.
00:09:57.980 Yet what we are being told, and again, I have this from a source in the Vatican,
00:10:02.540 that once the conclave doors were closed, that Parolin immediately began championing the candidacy
00:10:11.320 of pre-votes, that he knew he wouldn't have the votes, he knew that he was too publicly associated
00:10:17.580 with Francis to win over the conservatives.
00:10:20.280 And so almost immediately, once they realized he didn't have the votes, they may have done
00:10:24.320 one test ballot and then took one vote.
00:10:27.840 Because remember, Roger, this was only the fourth round of ballots, which is very fast.
00:10:31.400 When that puff of white spoke went up on day two, only 24 hours after the opening of the
00:10:37.500 conclave, the entire city of Rome was rushing to the square.
00:10:41.400 No one could believe that it was picked so quickly.
00:10:45.260 And from what I'm hearing on the inside is that it was the liberal progressive Parolin
00:10:50.640 pushing for Cardinal Prevost.
00:10:52.860 And you mentioned, of course, the issue of illegal immigration.
00:10:55.100 And I just go back to saying that this has been a huge revenue driver for the Vatican and
00:10:59.900 so many others through groups like Catholic Charities and others, because while they get
00:11:04.600 the signups in Latin America and in Africa, when it comes to the money, which is currently
00:11:10.240 going into those, and people say, oh, the Vatican is so rich.
00:11:12.940 Well, yes and no.
00:11:13.920 It's still, they're still derived off of revenue from donors and parishioners going to church.
00:11:19.680 It has been running low in past years.
00:11:23.160 They have huge cash flow issues.
00:11:24.420 That's why they needed the CCP deal to bail them out a couple of years back under Francis
00:11:29.240 McCarrick, the now disgraced former Cardinal McCarrick, and of course, Parolin himself.
00:11:35.860 And so a lot of those money issues could be one of the reasons that they wanted, number
00:11:39.980 one, turn on the illegal immigration revenue pipeline yet again, and number two, choose an
00:11:46.700 American who can directly go for that big American money.
00:11:50.720 Jack, I agree with that.
00:11:52.060 I think, frankly, Cardinal Parolin's tendency was damaged by some of these financial irregularities
00:11:59.940 that were raised very deftly and at exactly the right time by an American bishop, Brugano,
00:12:10.340 at a very key time.
00:12:13.100 And I agree with you.
00:12:14.400 I think this is an appeal for money.
00:12:16.180 In the meantime, two things I found extraordinarily amusing, the way some Catholics flipped out
00:12:22.360 when President Trump put out a picture of himself in papal vestments.
00:12:28.620 Some people can't take a joke.
00:12:30.880 Some people, I think, might have been waiting for orange smoke to come from the Sistine Chapel.
00:12:37.280 Trump is not a Catholic.
00:12:38.920 It was just humor, but some people took it very, very seriously.
00:12:43.800 Well, I'm offended.
00:12:45.180 Well, I'm offended by the fact that Pope Francis accommodated the Chinese communists,
00:12:53.260 basically agreed to let them veto who could be a bishop in China, because accommodation
00:12:58.900 with evil, Jack, is evil.
00:13:01.020 Well, I'm offended by the fact that Pope Francis brought Cardinal McCarrick, who was a vicious
00:13:07.260 pedophile, out of retirement and gave him a position as a key advisor inside the Vatican.
00:13:14.180 That offended me.
00:13:15.920 So, you know, people need to lighten up.
00:13:18.900 In this case, I am also amused by the fact that the Pope's brother, Lou, appears to not
00:13:25.100 only be MAGA, not only be a supporter of President Trump and a harsh critic of Kamala Harris and
00:13:32.400 Tim Walsh, but he also seems to be fully awake on the question of Richard M. Nixon.
00:13:38.740 In Watergate, he reposted a great meme in which someone pointed out that Nixon only erased a 13-minute
00:13:48.260 tape while Hillary Clinton erased 33,000 classified emails.
00:13:55.800 She basically destroyed them with beach blit and a hammer when they were under subpoena.
00:14:02.180 So he's red-pilled on the question of Nixon and Watergate as well, found that very amusing.
00:14:09.420 Roger, I saw that post and more.
00:14:11.460 And that's the way I've said here at Human Events Daily, we would be more than happy if
00:14:16.160 Mr. Prevost is interested to sponsor an all-expenses-paid trip for him to travel to Vatican City, to St.
00:14:23.720 Peter's, to meet his brother and sit down with him.
00:14:26.840 And we'll just chat on a few of these issues.
00:14:29.440 We're not going to tell him what to do, but I certainly think that's something that Human
00:14:33.040 Events Daily would be more than happy to do.
00:14:35.960 And by the way, Mr. Prevost, if you're watching, more than happy to have you on.
00:14:39.700 I understand you've been doing quite a bit of media.
00:14:41.880 We'd love to have you here on the program as well.
00:14:45.320 This is Jack Posobiec.
00:14:46.520 You're on with Human Events Daily.
00:14:48.900 We have Roger Stone with us for the program today on the Salem Radio Network and Real
00:14:54.860 America's Voice.
00:14:55.880 We'll be right back.
00:14:56.880 Quick break.
00:14:57.360 Hey, you know, they talk about influences.
00:15:14.700 These are influences.
00:15:16.560 And they're friends of mine.
00:15:18.940 Jack Posobiec.
00:15:20.480 Where's Jack?
00:15:21.420 Jack.
00:15:22.480 He's done a great job.
00:15:23.820 All right, Jack Posobiec.
00:15:27.480 We're back live here.
00:15:28.840 Human Events Daily.
00:15:30.000 Real America's Voice, Salem Radio Network bringing in our three of the Charlie Kirk audience.
00:15:33.940 We're on with Roger Stone.
00:15:36.940 Roger, when we look at the fact that we had the first American pope now and the media has
00:15:42.040 been really playing at my comments where I said this is clearly a response to Trump.
00:15:46.300 And I think that's probably the safest way to put it.
00:15:48.880 That wasn't necessarily an argument one way or the other, but I think it's my analysis
00:15:53.780 of the situation.
00:15:54.940 Perhaps it was the meme that made its way around the conclave that swung their votes towards
00:16:02.040 the American.
00:16:02.880 But, you know, when it really comes down to this, I do think that the progressives, my
00:16:08.560 concern is that the progressives will want to use this pope and the tweets that we've
00:16:14.300 already seen being very critical of J.D. Vance, President Bukele in El Salvador and President
00:16:19.360 Trump on the issue of deportation and illegal immigration to use this as potentially a wedge
00:16:24.540 to break up the huge Catholic voting bloc that swung for President Trump, brought him
00:16:31.380 into office across the Rust Belt.
00:16:33.840 And by the way, something that I'm sure Catholic convert J.D. Vance, our vice president, would
00:16:39.500 want to use should he run, as I think is widely expected, for president himself in his own
00:16:45.500 right, as President Trump is, well, is likely term limited to right now.
00:16:52.640 So, Roger, how should the president manage his relations with the Holy See here?
00:16:58.920 First of all, I think people need to see this in some historical perspective.
00:17:04.200 It's important to recognize that working class ethnic Catholic votes are the bedrock of every
00:17:12.060 Republican presidential victory since 1968.
00:17:16.580 When those Catholic voters vote for the Republican nominee, as they did for Nixon, as they did for
00:17:22.860 Reagan, as they did for Trump, we win.
00:17:26.740 When we lose those voters, we lose.
00:17:29.660 The Pope is going to have a very hard time convincing working class Catholic voters in the United
00:17:36.520 States that open borders are a good idea, that high taxes are a good idea, that profligate
00:17:43.140 federal spending is a good idea.
00:17:45.920 So I think, in all honesty, Catholics understand the difference between when the Pope speaks,
00:17:53.220 if Catholic speaks to on matters of faith and church doctrine, and when the Pope expresses
00:17:58.560 what are, in fact, really, in essence, political opinions.
00:18:02.440 It is not going to change the views of, I think, a majority of non-progressive, working class,
00:18:10.640 more conservative Catholics, because the Pope thinks that illegal immigration is a great idea.
00:18:18.600 If I were the Pope, I'd be more concerned about what the president thinks than the president
00:18:23.640 should be concerned about what the Pope thinks, in terms of the way it impacts American voters.
00:18:32.000 Well, and this is a huge, huge point, because, as I've said before, the antagonism towards
00:18:37.360 the president, which we saw, we clearly saw from Pope Francis.
00:18:41.120 And, you know, I know there's a lot of Catholics out there who try to say, oh, Jack, you know,
00:18:45.500 I know political speech.
00:18:47.220 When I see political speech, I kind of do it for a living.
00:18:50.380 And so he was obviously playing politics with President Trump.
00:18:54.300 Now, certainly there are a number of other issues where he stood with Catholic orthodoxy,
00:19:00.320 which I absolutely do support.
00:19:01.960 And I've seen that Pope Leo XIV has as well.
00:19:06.760 But, Roger, that really is the danger, then, because the media would love for the new president
00:19:13.440 to get into this feud with the new pope when the two men, as far as I know, have never
00:19:19.300 even spoken.
00:19:21.340 Yeah, but, Jack, the truth is I don't think Americans vote on the basis of religion, in
00:19:27.140 all honesty.
00:19:28.040 And there are, for example, obviously there are some extremely liberal progressive Catholics,
00:19:34.080 but beyond that, I honestly don't think that religious issues are what going to divide
00:19:41.820 those voters who are pro-life are going to continue to support Donald Trump, for example.
00:19:48.180 Beyond that, progressivism is going to be a very tough sell for this pope.
00:19:53.560 And for people to think that the pope is viewed as a political figure in this country, he's not.
00:20:00.080 If he had, then the huge incursions among Catholics that Trump made in the last two elections,
00:20:07.280 the last three elections, really, would never have taken place.
00:20:10.620 So, even with Pope Francis attacking the president, it did not impact the Catholic vote here in the United States in 2024.
00:20:20.920 It didn't work.
00:20:22.200 Why?
00:20:22.640 Because you cannot convince any voter, any sane voter, that having, you know, illegal immigrants,
00:20:30.920 dangerous in some cases, actually members of gangs, is a good public policy idea.
00:20:36.900 So, this idea...
00:20:38.480 No, certainly not.
00:20:39.240 Roger, we have a quick...
00:20:40.660 As a critic, we'll work.
00:20:42.180 A quick break.
00:20:43.380 A quick break, and I'd love to hold you over on that.
00:20:45.380 By the way, MS-13, I would point out, is not only a dangerous transnational gang,
00:20:50.740 they are a satanic gang.
00:20:53.160 They are a group that actually performs blood rituals on victims, sometimes very young victims,
00:21:00.380 in worship and service of Satan.
00:21:03.920 Jack Posobiec will be right back.
00:21:05.280 And Jack, where is Jack?
00:21:16.020 Where is Jack?
00:21:18.160 Where is he?
00:21:19.460 Jack, I want to see you.
00:21:23.100 Great job, Jack.
00:21:24.600 Thank you.
00:21:25.340 What a job you do.
00:21:26.760 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:21:27.940 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad news, but we have guys,
00:21:31.920 and these are the guys who should be getting Pulisic.
00:21:35.280 Jack Posobiec, we are back live.
00:21:38.740 Human events, daily, Washington, D.C., Real Marcus Voice, and the Salem Radio Network.
00:21:45.820 We're on with veteran political strategist Roger Stone, and we're walking through some of the
00:21:52.460 political angles vis-a-vis President Trump, J.D. Vance, a Catholic convert, who many believe may run for president in short order, by the way,
00:22:02.920 and the appointment of the new pope, Pope Leo XIV.
00:22:08.460 You know, Roger, when I also look on the question of illegal immigration, I think this is something where a lot of people get wrapped up in these ideas where they say, oh, it's, you know, it's, it's, people are just evil.
00:22:19.800 They're doing this because of greed, etc.
00:22:22.280 Yes, but also, this is a big business.
00:22:26.860 It's a huge business.
00:22:28.060 And by the way, Catholic charities and Lutherans and there are Jewish organizations and many, many other organizations out there using the name, the good name, by the way, of religion to launder in money from the taxpayer that then goes into their pockets and then would go off to others to be able to get the spigot turned back on.
00:22:47.040 That's something that a lot of people don't want to actually talk about, but is something that President Trump and our new Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, have absolutely been targeting.
00:23:00.460 Roger, do you agree with my assessment that there's a financial element to all of this?
00:23:05.860 Jack, there's no question about it.
00:23:07.560 I think the American people owe a great debt of gratitude to Elon Musk and his Doge operation for exposing this.
00:23:17.040 So, yes, illegal immigration is a big multi-million, if not billion-dollar business.
00:23:23.440 Now you add in the cartels and the role that they have played.
00:23:29.200 Look, I think the president should meet with the new pope as soon as is feasible, should certainly invite him for a sit-down,
00:23:37.040 and begin to perhaps explain to him the facts about illegal immigration and the great danger of these satanic, violent, criminal gangs.
00:23:50.360 Instead of the pope persuading the president, perhaps the president can persuade the pope.
00:23:56.300 These, of course, are not matters of the church.
00:24:00.640 These are pastoral matters that Francis spoke out about.
00:24:03.840 He seemed to have a very, very leftist political agenda.
00:24:07.780 We agree he was good on some fundamental moral issues, like the entire gender agenda, for example.
00:24:17.400 Andy held the line as far as being pro-life.
00:24:22.100 His views on gays, that gays could welcome the church, they could be blessed, hate the sin, not the sinner.
00:24:29.020 I even agree with that.
00:24:30.520 But when he got into matters of American politics, like illegal immigration, for example,
00:24:36.840 or a combination with the evil of Chinese communism, where, in all honesty, Pope Francis really let the Chinese communists dictate who could be a bishop and, I believe, a priest in China,
00:24:51.600 I think he got outside of his appropriate area, in all honesty.
00:24:55.900 Well, and Roger, there's other information, by the way, specifically, where the U.S., the Vatican just recently was seeking U.S. assistance,
00:25:08.500 and people really need to hear about this just a couple years back, where there was the Vatican Bank scandal.
00:25:17.740 And what was the Vatican Bank scandal directly associated with?
00:25:21.600 It was real estate, it was money throughout Italy, and in some cases, there was even money, by the way, in Peru.
00:25:32.040 Peru, which is exactly where the new Pope hails from, looking for a billion dollars for this financial scandal, where they want this to come in.
00:25:42.480 And so, look, as a Catholic, of course, I pray for the Pope.
00:25:46.780 I am certainly sure that all Catholics pray for the Pope, and I would encourage all Catholics to pray for the Pope.
00:25:53.840 But, in fact, there was an organization, and I'm trying to pull their name up here, Catholic Herald has the—
00:25:59.480 this was news just about a month ago when J.D. Vance visited the Vatican, and Cardinal Parolin was directly associated with it.
00:26:06.720 financial crimes committed by a powerful Catholic entity called Soldatium Cristane Vitae, which was—SCV, which was based in Peru.
00:26:18.580 And, in fact, there were huge allegations of financial scandals.
00:26:24.100 So the question, of course, is, was this prevost was, you know, as a bishop, a very high-level bishop and cardinal out of Peru, the question is, was he associated with this?
00:26:37.560 Is he investigating this?
00:26:38.980 Clearly, there's a lot of questions going on here.
00:26:41.540 But at the end of the barrel is this.
00:26:46.100 The Vatican is not exactly as rich, or at least as cash-heavy, as a lot of people think.
00:26:51.500 Isn't that right, Roger?
00:26:52.260 I think what you mean to ask, Jack, is, what did Pope Leo know, and when did he know it?
00:26:59.280 That's precisely what we—
00:27:01.120 I was going to go there.
00:27:03.360 I didn't go there.
00:27:04.160 But you went, but of course, Roger Stone will go there.
00:27:07.240 Look, it also appears, just based on my own reading, that the Pope, the previous Pope and his advisors,
00:27:14.620 made a number of bad investment decisions, which further weakened the financial standing of the church.
00:27:24.260 Now, I think the church is rich, but I also think that they're very rich, but they may not be that liquid.
00:27:31.020 I think there are a lot of real estate holdings, for example.
00:27:33.960 But I think they have liquidity problems.
00:27:36.980 And if they're looking for the United States to bail them out, well, they're looking in the wrong place,
00:27:42.180 because these days we're putting America first.
00:27:45.980 I don't know about you, Jack, but I'm not tired of winning yet.
00:27:49.220 But this has been an incredible 72 hours.
00:27:52.020 We have a trade deal with the Chinese, at least the framework of one.
00:27:57.360 Scott Besson, I think, one of the president's very best appointees,
00:28:02.160 perhaps the most brilliant secretary of the Treasury since Alexander Hamilton.
00:28:06.480 We have a ceasefire brokered by the United States between India and Pakistan.
00:28:13.400 We have a new deal to cut the price of prescription drugs,
00:28:18.700 which I think is going to be extraordinarily popular with the American people.
00:28:24.060 We have Robert F. Kennedy Jr. not only looking into geoengineering, also known as chemtrails,
00:28:31.840 but moving aggressively to outlaw certain very dangerous additives in our food and the food that we're being sold.
00:28:40.220 So the president is, he's making progress on all fronts,
00:28:45.620 but he's doing so by putting America first instead of putting America last.
00:28:53.060 If I, again, the Pope should be more concerned about where he stands with the president than the other way around.
00:28:59.700 Well, Roger, when we see from the UK to China to now going to the Middle East,
00:29:08.820 and certainly this highlights the role of Saudi Arabia and as a real broker in the world,
00:29:15.280 as we shift the axis of the world clearly, and I think from anyone who's being honest,
00:29:21.640 the geopolitical axis of the world is shifting from a unipolar world to a multipolar world.
00:29:28.140 Certainly China is part of that, certainly India, Russia, Europe, the United States.
00:29:33.060 We are no longer the sole superpower.
00:29:35.580 The uniglobal moment, the unipolar moment is over.
00:29:40.720 And Saudi Arabia, in just a work of fate and thanks to the power of the petrodollar,
00:29:46.200 really is kind of the center of many of these poles.
00:29:50.480 As well, by the way, many of them use their counterpart in the Gulf, Iran.
00:29:56.840 And there's a reason that a world that runs off of oil would, of course, be so focused on these two powers.
00:30:03.940 Roger, what do you expect out of President Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia?
00:30:09.080 Well, first of all, I think he is resisting the war hawks in his own administration
00:30:14.840 who are telling him that he needs to strike Iran.
00:30:18.180 He and the vice president and his negotiators, including Marco Rubio, who I think is really doing a phenomenally good job,
00:30:28.420 have signaled that we are prepared to talk to the Iranians about their having some nuclear program,
00:30:36.700 but not one that includes weaponization, not one that includes the ability to create nuclear weapons.
00:30:44.460 This is a step in the right direction for those who think that some kind of strike on Iran
00:30:50.460 don't understand that the Iranians would immediately shut down the Strait of Hormuz,
00:30:55.460 that you'd have an immediate spike in world fuel prices, including here in the United States.
00:31:01.520 They're unrealistic about the implications of an immediate strike.
00:31:08.960 We seem to be moving away from Israel in that regard.
00:31:12.120 I think that's a good thing, Jack.
00:31:15.900 Well, Roger, and this is something where people need to understand that a lot of Middle East politics,
00:31:20.460 and I've said this for so long, it's certainly something I gleaned during my time as an intelligence officer,
00:31:25.660 a lot of the Middle East politics and the shifting geopolitical tectonic plates of that part of the world,
00:31:32.360 which really is a place where all of these poles kind of come together,
00:31:35.060 it can be boiled down to, you know, the sides that support Saudi and the Arab side
00:31:41.180 and those who support Iran and the Shia side, so the Sunnis and the Shias.
00:31:47.000 And it really does boil down to the Saudis versus the Persians.
00:31:51.700 And, of course, this is a situation where President Trump, I think, rightly understands
00:31:56.540 that rather than back one side in the war, the better goal for America and launch a new war,
00:32:04.140 the better goal for America would be to seek a peace deal while maintaining the security and stability of the region.
00:32:12.380 Yeah, I think that is absolutely true.
00:32:16.020 On the other hand, you have to, this could be a very tough negotiation with the Iranians.
00:32:21.500 When we, unfortunately, unwisely, when Joe Biden ended the sanctions program
00:32:28.400 and we handed over $190 billion to a rogue regime,
00:32:36.260 they didn't use that money to help the people.
00:32:38.380 For example, the cost of food right now in Iran is off the charts.
00:32:44.620 They used it to finance and underwrite terrorism.
00:32:48.620 Hamas, Hezbollah, making the attack on Israel on October 7th entirely possible.
00:32:53.940 So these people, all they really have is their nuclear program.
00:32:59.060 They're not going to give it up easily.
00:33:01.220 I mean, their nuclear weapons program, they're not going to give it up easily.
00:33:04.460 I think they are playing for time, but they're with a master negotiator.
00:33:10.200 As he's already demonstrated in the situation with Russia and Ukraine, he is, he does have infinite patience.
00:33:19.560 But finally, it appears that he's going to get the Ukrainians and the Russians to the table.
00:33:24.700 I give Steve Witkoff great credit in this regard.
00:33:28.360 And perhaps he mentioned earlier today that while he's in the neighborhood at the same time period,
00:33:34.960 perhaps he'll make a stop himself in Istanbul.
00:33:38.760 Roger, can we hold you for one more segment?
00:33:40.760 We've got one more segment here on Human Events Daily.
00:33:43.900 Sure.
00:33:45.140 Okay, we'll be right back with Roger Stone.
00:33:46.820 You're listening to Jack Posobiec, watching Real America's Voice and Salem Radio Network.
00:33:51.700 Quick break, right back.
00:33:52.640 Jack is a great guy.
00:34:02.640 He's written a fantastic book.
00:34:04.280 Everybody's talking about it.
00:34:05.500 Go get it.
00:34:06.620 And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:34:10.600 And we're going to turn it around and make our country great to get to him.
00:34:13.880 Amen.
00:34:14.140 I think a lot of MAGA people see that as something of a betrayal.
00:34:20.660 I just want to play.
00:34:21.680 This is Jack Posobiec.
00:34:22.980 He's actually at the Vatican right now covering this for some right-wing outlets.
00:34:28.080 He's a very loud voice in conservative spheres.
00:34:31.280 He's traveled with the defense secretary and other folks around President Trump.
00:34:35.180 And here's what he had to say.
00:34:36.140 I'm not going to mince words.
00:34:39.140 This is not the election that conservatives wanted.
00:34:43.280 God save the church.
00:34:45.380 Will this pope continue to antagonize President Trump and J.D. Vance?
00:34:51.020 The choice of an American pope.
00:34:53.160 It is clearly a reaction to President Trump.
00:34:58.640 And I honestly can't see this red in almost any other light.
00:35:03.820 A reaction to Trump?
00:35:05.700 Well, a couple things.
00:35:06.860 Number one, I agree with the president.
00:35:08.560 I think it's amazing that we have an American pope.
00:35:11.060 All right, Jack Posobiec.
00:35:11.940 And we are back.
00:35:12.800 Final segment here.
00:35:14.000 Real America's Voice.
00:35:15.560 Salem Radio Network.
00:35:16.600 Hour 3.
00:35:16.960 Charlie Kirk.
00:35:17.780 We're on with veteran political strategist Roger Stone.
00:35:20.160 Roger, one of the things that happened while I was away at the conclave
00:35:25.960 was the switching out and appointment that happened here in Washington, D.C.
00:35:33.680 in the district.
00:35:34.520 Ed Martin rolled over to the DOJ weaponization task force
00:35:39.680 and the appointment of Judge Jeanine, Jeanine Pirro.
00:35:43.440 I don't know if that's a demotion judge to attorney,
00:35:46.760 but she'll now be the U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C.
00:35:51.920 all of this because of squishy, moderate Republican snakes in the United States Senate.
00:35:59.480 Roger, I've got to get your take on it.
00:36:01.600 Jack, I think this is a classic example.
00:36:03.880 Be careful what you wish for.
00:36:06.060 The left, the deep state, they were apoplectic about the appointment of Ed Martin,
00:36:11.280 a straight shooter.
00:36:12.560 Under Ed Martin as the U.S. attorney, just the interim U.S. attorney in D.C.,
00:36:17.360 violent crime in the District of Columbia dropped 25 percent,
00:36:21.760 and he wasn't even on the job six months.
00:36:25.200 But you're right.
00:36:26.080 His nomination was torpedoed by Senator Tom Tillis, the rhino from North Carolina.
00:36:34.580 Now, Tillis is up for reelection in 2026.
00:36:38.100 He's actually announced his candidacy for reelection.
00:36:40.860 Just as a matter of historical precedent, it is absolutely essential that President Trump
00:36:47.920 recruit and support a challenger to Tillis because he must show all the other Republican
00:36:54.860 senators in the caucus that those who don't support the party leader, who don't support
00:37:00.800 the party's agenda, will be challenged.
00:37:04.360 A source told me, Jack, that Senator Tillis actually told someone that in his opinion
00:37:13.500 that he would vote for Ed Martin for any other Department of Justice position,
00:37:20.720 but he could not vote for Martin to be the U.S. attorney for D.C.
00:37:25.320 because he disagreed with Martin's decisions regarding the January 6th victims.
00:37:30.840 Also was told that Tillis told someone that Ashley Babbitt deserved what she got, that
00:37:36.680 she had it coming.
00:37:38.300 That is unacceptable, and I frankly think Tillis must face a trial.
00:37:44.640 I've known Judge Jeanine Pirro for well over 25 years.
00:37:49.920 She was a very tough prosecutor.
00:37:52.280 She was the Westchester County District Attorney.
00:37:54.580 She really specialized or focused very specifically on crimes against children and
00:38:02.140 domestic crimes, domestic violence, domestic battery.
00:38:07.540 She was a tough prosecutor.
00:38:09.540 At this point in her career, she doesn't have to seek approval of anyone.
00:38:13.200 She has no political aspirations.
00:38:15.280 I think this was an ingenious choice by the president to replace Ed Martin.
00:38:19.820 And if they thought they were going to get a break, those in the deep state worried about
00:38:24.740 the investigation of weaponization, the Russian collusion hoax, the Ukrainian collusion hoax,
00:38:32.820 the truth about January 6th, I think they are sadly mistaken.
00:38:37.080 Judge Pirro is going to be just as tough as Ed Martin would have been.
00:38:41.100 And Martin now goes to a much broader mandate as both heading a task force inside the DOJ on
00:38:50.060 political weaponization of our criminal justice system, but also as a pardon attorney, which
00:38:56.960 I think is very good news as well.
00:39:01.240 Well, Roger, I think it's fantastic news.
00:39:03.540 You know, this is something that's great.
00:39:05.060 Ed Martin, just someone who has always been absolutely out there.
00:39:09.080 And he was the right hand man of Phyllis Schlafly for so many years.
00:39:12.680 Someone who, by the way, I got to meet when I was an up and coming in, you know, conservative
00:39:17.460 politics when I was still in college, along with David Horowitz and Ann Coulter and so many
00:39:22.560 other Andrew Breitbart who around kind of in the mix at that time.
00:39:26.040 And Ed Martin comes out of that pedigree.
00:39:28.640 And he's someone who clearly understands exactly what we're up against.
00:39:33.280 And that, of course, is the reason so many of these people can't stand him.
00:39:36.380 And I've already been getting hit up by reporters all weekend.
00:39:39.220 Oh, well, if you support a, you know, a primary to Tom Tillis, are you going to get someone
00:39:43.420 worse?
00:39:43.960 Are you going to get this or John Cornyn over in Texas?
00:39:46.420 No, I think what we're going to get is a real Republican, someone that the people actually
00:39:52.680 deserve to have representing them.
00:39:55.300 Roger, where can people go to find you and get more of your work?
00:39:57.980 People can go to StoneZone.com, StoneZone.com.
00:40:02.940 And of course, every weekday evening at 8 p.m.
00:40:06.940 Eastern, we're at WABCRadio.com, WABCRadio.com, where we do an hour on politics in the Stone
00:40:15.020 Zone.
00:40:15.540 So check us out in either one of those two places.
00:40:18.520 Folks, Roger Stone is everywhere on the media.
00:40:22.600 Fortunately, my feet are back home here in the United States of America.
00:40:26.820 A courageous country on God's green earth.
00:40:30.800 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay a short.
