00:00:25.780 The Poso Daily Brief.
00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
00:00:40.000 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.720 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:49.760 Christ is king.
00:00:51.060 Trump has done something no person in the world has ever done before.
00:00:55.700 A dead politician has risen.
00:00:58.340 This is the greatest comeback in political history.
00:01:01.200 This, this Davos is all Trump, all AI.
00:01:03.460 The formation of Stargate, a new American company that will invest $500 billion, at least,
00:01:09.620 in AI infrastructure in the United States.
00:01:11.960 Everyone is talking about new leadership in America and the incoming policies that we are
00:01:17.220 going to see President Trump execute.
00:01:19.840 They don't take conservative business.
00:01:21.360 And I don't know if the regulators mandated that because of Biden or what, but you and
00:01:26.740 Jamie and everybody, I hope you're going to open your banks to conservatives because
00:01:30.680 what you're doing is wrong.
00:01:31.860 The initial immigration raids have already arrested and removed some of the most vicious
00:01:37.500 criminals in this country, including child pornography cases, homicide cases, sexual assault,
00:01:45.280 attacks on children.
00:01:46.240 And this is just the very beginning.
00:01:48.260 The first 1,500 U.S. troops are arriving at the southern border as President Donald Trump
00:01:53.900 launches his long-promised crackdown on immigration.
00:01:57.040 They have been taken off the leash and they are motivated like never before to try and go
00:02:03.140 out.
00:02:03.580 And as one Border Patrol official told me yesterday, consequences are being delivered.
00:02:08.520 And that's what they signed up to do.
00:02:10.280 And they're finally doing it.
00:02:11.500 The House of Representatives passed the Lake and Riley Act.
00:02:14.320 This bill now heads to President Trump for his signature, which will be forthcoming in
00:02:19.080 a matter of days.
00:02:20.020 The Trump administration has introduced a new one-flag policy requiring all State Department
00:02:25.340 buildings to fly only the American flag.
00:02:28.160 I went through four years of hell.
00:02:30.240 I spent millions of dollars in legal fees and I won.
00:02:34.060 But I did it the hard way.
00:02:35.820 It's really hard to say that they shouldn't have to go through it all.
00:02:39.400 So it is very hard to say that.
00:02:41.500 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily here
00:02:45.640 live in Washington, D.C.
00:02:47.360 Today is January 23rd, 2025.
00:02:50.120 Anno Domini.
00:02:51.780 President Trump giving a command performance there.
00:02:55.260 The speech remote broadcast to Davos.
00:02:59.720 But his basic underpinning is this.
00:03:02.940 America is back.
00:03:04.820 The real America.
00:03:06.360 The great power America.
00:03:08.120 No longer will America be ruled by globalism.
00:03:11.680 No more will the globalists of Davos be able to dictate policy within the confines of the
00:03:17.220 contiguous borders of the republic.
00:03:19.120 No.
00:03:20.020 The United States of America is under new management and there's a new sheriff in town.
00:03:24.980 So whether it be China, whether it be Canada, whether it be Mexico, whether it be Ukraine,
00:03:30.300 whether it be Brussels, Klaus Schwab, and the rest of them, and they all realize this, by
00:03:35.540 the way, all of the hookers of Davos understand this.
00:03:39.620 And no, I'm not just talking about the Soros family.
00:03:43.700 No, no.
00:03:44.800 No, no.
00:03:45.800 I mean the actual escorts.
00:03:47.300 You see, what people don't understand about Davos is that when it goes on, all of the
00:03:52.440 world's super elite, all of the super rich come together and the escorts, oh, they get
00:03:58.520 paid very, very well.
00:03:59.920 But they hear things.
00:04:01.060 They hear little whispers across the pillows.
00:04:04.060 And who controls the pillows?
00:04:05.540 That's right.
00:04:06.460 Promo code COSO through Mike Lindell.
00:04:08.680 When you control the pillows, you control pillow talk.
00:04:12.040 Look, folks, they understand that their time is over.
00:04:16.640 Their time is done.
00:04:18.320 Now, don't be lulled into a false sense of security either.
00:04:24.560 They understand that they are not going to go without a fight.
00:04:29.500 President Trump, new administration are only now beginning to take power in Washington.
00:04:36.720 And that includes all of the nominees.
00:04:39.520 That includes America First appointees across the country, and there are smear campaigns
00:04:47.040 going on as we speak to attack those America First candidates and those America First appointees,
00:04:55.220 specifically a smear campaign against any Trump appointee who opposes endless war being led
00:05:02.480 by David Wormser.
00:05:04.300 And that's, of course, according to a senior White House official.
00:05:07.340 Wormser, in fact, worked for Cheney and Bolton in the Bush administration and was instrumental
00:05:13.120 in helping to manipulate intelligence to try to show that Iraq had wet WMDs and was supporting
00:05:20.140 al-Qaeda.
00:05:21.200 Obviously, nothing of the sort was true.
00:05:25.040 But for those out there who support the endless war agenda, they can see here in Washington,
00:05:30.520 D.C. that their influence is waning.
00:05:33.060 And that is why they are trying to put the screws to Pete Hegseth, to Tulsi Gabbard, to J.D. Vance,
00:05:39.460 to anyone who was appointed that shares this idea that we don't need to be the world's police
00:05:46.880 anymore.
00:05:47.700 Let the world take care of itself.
00:05:50.620 And as for us, we will go to the southern border.
00:05:55.100 All these special forces and all of these different JSOC operatives and CAG and Delta and SEAL team
00:06:01.640 and Damned Neck and Dev Group.
00:06:03.120 Guess what?
00:06:04.100 There's a lot of issues here at home rather than all around the world.
00:06:09.660 Don't worry, boys.
00:06:10.720 You're going to be called in very soon.
00:06:12.380 And you don't have to go very far.
00:06:13.480 You know, they talk about influences.
00:06:20.180 These are influences.
00:06:22.100 And they're friends of mine.
00:06:24.440 Jack Posobiec.
00:06:25.940 Where's Jack?
00:06:26.900 Jack?
00:06:27.840 He's done a great job.
00:06:29.300 All right, folks.
00:06:33.260 Jack Posobiec back in frozen Washington, D.C.
00:06:36.880 Those are live shots you're looking at of the Jefferson Memorial,
00:06:39.780 the Tidal Basin there at the Jefferson Memorial.
00:06:43.740 As you can see, completely frozen over.
00:06:48.220 This is something that we've been seeing here in D.C.
00:06:50.460 for a couple of days now as the Arctic blast, the cold snap that we're seeing continues.
00:06:56.460 And but that's OK, folks, because President Trump is bringing all the heat that we need.
00:07:01.060 Folks, let me tell you something.
00:07:02.840 Ashish Kumar Jai.
00:07:04.620 You ever hear that name?
00:07:05.340 That's the name of a former Biden administration COVID-19 response coordinator.
00:07:09.780 who recently gave a chilling speech at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
00:07:15.320 And he warned of a new age of pandemics fueled by bioweapons development and natural threats.
00:07:20.560 He called for massive investments in vaccines against pathogens that don't even exist yet
00:07:25.260 and urged a war against so-called misinformation.
00:07:29.760 But the question we need to ask is who's working on these bioweapons or any bioweapons
00:07:33.980 and how many labs are there globally?
00:07:36.340 Evil will always be lurking in the background.
00:07:39.440 Being prepared is your best defense.
00:07:42.340 The wellness company's contagion emergency kit, engineered by Dr. Peter McCullough and his medical board,
00:07:48.140 includes five critical, life-saving medications.
00:07:50.560 We're talking ivermectin, Tamiflu, a nebulizer, and hydroxychloroquine.
00:07:54.500 Every household can now have access to these hard-to-get medications, minus the red tape.
00:08:00.100 It's simple.
00:08:00.680 You fill out a digital intake form.
00:08:02.480 Your kit arrives in one to two weeks.
00:08:04.860 Don't wait until the deep state puts their plans into action.
00:08:08.180 Stay ready for the unexpected.
00:08:09.860 Head to TWC.health.poso and use promo code POSO to save $32 off plus free shipping.
00:08:17.500 Kits are only available to U.S. residents.
00:08:19.940 Again, that's TWC.com.poso.
00:08:22.280 I love this stuff.
00:08:23.820 It'll get you through whatever's going on.
00:08:25.540 Whatever bioweapons get released, you can be sure that you'll be all right with the wellness company.
00:08:30.560 I want to bring on now Mike Benz for the Foundation for Freedom Online.
00:08:33.860 Benz, how are you?
00:08:35.640 Doing great.
00:08:36.700 Great to see you, Jack.
00:08:38.060 Look, President Trump there up on you as well,
00:08:41.100 and President Trump up there at the World Economic Forum specifically.
00:08:44.020 These are two topics that are near and dear to your heart.
00:08:48.560 He talked about the debanking of conservatives,
00:08:51.880 and he specifically called out censorship initiatives.
00:08:54.520 And for folks in the know who have been following your work,
00:08:57.780 they know that the entire last year's World Economic Forum theme was the censorship of misinformation.
00:09:03.740 Now you have the President of the United States,
00:09:05.520 the leader of the free world, specifically saying,
00:09:07.900 no, we're not going to be doing that.
00:09:10.320 Benz.
00:09:10.580 Yeah, in 2024, the 2024 annual report for risk mitigation for the World Economic Forum
00:09:19.880 listed mis- and disinformation as the number one short-term risk to governments and companies all over the world.
00:09:28.860 Basically, someone being wrong on the Internet somewhere is the biggest threat
00:09:33.960 to the liberal rules-based international order.
00:09:37.300 Now, of course, it means anything that supports a populist president for candidate in the U.S., in Europe, and around the world.
00:09:45.380 Of course, the World Economic Forum, famous for you will have nothing and you'll be happy,
00:09:51.880 also had a strange proclamation several years ago that the U.S. will no longer be the world's superpower.
00:09:59.860 And as they said that cheerfully, there was a picture of the Chinese flag rising in the background.
00:10:05.360 So, you know, this is basically the shark tank that Trump-
00:10:10.740 I'm glad that it's happening so early in the new administration that he gets to look eye-to-eye,
00:10:16.920 in a sense, assert dominance over a lot of these forces who will be trying to snake him
00:10:23.940 and attack him from various angles over the next four years.
00:10:26.340 Well, and so that's also something that I've been focusing on as well.
00:10:31.680 I've been talking about how here, even in Washington, D.C., we've heard these globalist types going after America First nominees,
00:10:38.220 people working against Pete Hegseth.
00:10:39.940 We're going to have an update on that in the very next segment here with Mark Lucas.
00:10:43.560 But also this idea that they're coming against Tulsi Gabbard.
00:10:47.120 They're coming against – they even, many of these same types, worked against J.D. Vance.
00:10:51.240 And if anyone who's listened to Tucker knows that you had the warmongers in Washington, D.C.,
00:10:55.480 Lindsey Graham and the entire coterie of them coming down saying we can't put someone like that in such a position as this.
00:11:02.200 Why?
00:11:02.560 Because there are billions and billions of dollars that are tied into these various complexes,
00:11:07.660 whether it be censorship and also whether it be war.
00:11:10.720 So, Benz, what should the incoming Trump administration do when it comes to focusing on this idea of infiltration
00:11:17.500 and really just the snakes in the midst?
00:11:21.520 Well, we've talked about Schedule F as being a very powerful tool for that.
00:11:26.020 Also making sure that the political appointees that surround the cabinet members themselves,
00:11:31.960 the chief of staff positions, for example, the deputies, the assistant secretaries, the undersecretaries,
00:11:37.860 that you basically have no compromise to the regime because any link in the chain could be used as the basis for a snakeening.
00:11:49.340 And I think that we've seen a lot of strong moves in that direction from Trump world.
00:11:55.820 I'm personally delighted at the first three days of this administration.
00:11:59.620 And frankly, I think that Trump's enemies are in a little bit of disarray right now that this is all really happening,
00:12:06.720 which is not to say it won't reform shortly soon.
00:12:10.860 But I think there's this sense of we thought we killed you.
00:12:14.700 How is why aren't you dead?
00:12:16.880 And that is for whatever reason, I think, allowing the initiative to be seized by Trump
00:12:22.720 and all that can be really done on the other side of it in the immediate term is to point and sputter impotently,
00:12:29.060 which is what we're seeing.
00:12:31.020 Well, I think that's right.
00:12:32.200 And of course, we're already seeing that, whether it be people wanting to attack Elon Musk for this random nonsense,
00:12:37.920 going over, oh, my gosh, he raised his hand on a stage and they're trying to claim that it's something that it's clearly just not,
00:12:43.860 or going after someone because of their views, saying, look,
00:12:47.340 I have a view that we shouldn't be picking fights and wars all around the world.
00:12:52.140 And they suddenly scream, aha, you're an apologist, you're a defender, you're on their side.
00:12:57.600 Look, they've been doing it to Tulsi Gabbard since, I want to say, 2015,
00:13:00.880 when she came out in support of Bernie Sanders.
00:13:03.900 And they said, aha, she's a Russian stude, she's a Russian planche.
00:13:08.220 And then Assad Toady, which, of course, the great Joe Rogan had the temerity to ask Barry Weiss
00:13:13.900 when she brought that up in this wonderful scene.
00:13:15.760 What does Toady mean?
00:13:16.400 What does Toady mean?
00:13:18.100 And she actually couldn't define the term.
00:13:22.140 No, it's very funny.
00:13:23.740 But I will say I'm extremely heartened to see Trump actually confront these folks about the censorship issue
00:13:29.780 because he did not do that in term 1.0.
00:13:32.940 I can say that with some confidence as a former Trump speechwriter who tried to write speeches about censorship to Trump.
00:13:41.040 That was not on his mind.
00:13:43.140 I don't think he wanted to believe it until it really impacted him personally.
00:13:46.520 And now he's going right to the belly of the beast and taking it to him.
00:13:51.380 And the fact is, it is these international aspects of the censorship industry that are going to be doubling and tripling in size over the next several years.
00:14:01.440 And the U.S. censors and exiles will be attaching themselves to the EU, to the UK, to Brazil, and to dozens of others that will form a sort of shadow cabinet here in the U.S.
00:14:14.060 to use other countries' censorship laws.
00:14:16.920 But the fact is, is the World Economic Forum itself formed an institution called GARM, whose mission was to deprive conservative and populist websites of $2.6 billion in programmatic ad revenue.
00:14:30.400 And they were successfully on their way to doing that until Jim Jordan and a parade of lawsuits effectively got that shut down.
00:14:38.560 So we have the wind at our sails, we have momentum on this, and we have to keep the pressure on.
00:14:46.040 Well, I think you're right, though, as well on that other topic there, because it is going to come through the EU.
00:14:50.600 And I think this is one of the reasons, by the way, that Elon Musk has been so vocal regarding certain parties and certain groups that he's been, I would say, maybe not necessarily coming out and endorsing or supporting,
00:15:02.380 but he's definitely giving air cover to various movements, AFD, something that has really come up in the media,
00:15:08.200 because he's doing so in order to push back against the likes of Olaf Scholz, of the CDU, this is Angela Merkel's former party,
00:15:17.620 and, of course, Keir Stahmer.
00:15:19.120 Keir Stahmer in the UK, not an EU position, but also someone that he's gotten into it with, particularly with Rotherham and these other issues.
00:15:26.520 It isn't necessarily that he's doing it out of a vacuum.
00:15:29.240 He understands that he faces serious threats from them using censorship and using the power of their government apparatus to go after X.
00:15:38.240 So it'll be this sort of backdoor censorship because, and I think you've talked about this before,
00:15:42.040 that because if they enter one regulatory framework, it's not like he's going to be able to censor things in one country or in just the EU or the Schengen zone.
00:15:51.640 He's got to do it for the entire company.
00:15:53.000 Right. And we've already seen the EU rake the U.S. tech companies over the coals.
00:16:00.560 Mark Zuckerberg talked on Rogan about the $30 billion in fines so far that collectively Microsoft, Google and Facebook have had to eat,
00:16:09.660 and that the Biden administration did nothing to defend U.S. interests in Europe as that was all happening.
00:16:15.500 In fact, seem to be cheerleading it on right now, as we speak, the National Endowment for Democracy is a signatory to the EU code of practice on disinformation.
00:16:25.860 I'll say that again, Trump's Trump's probably most pernicious CIA cutout being funded by the federal government as we speak is still a proud signatory to a European law forcing U.S. companies to censor whatever the EU says is disinformation.
00:16:47.020 That has to be ended immediately. There should be no U.S. funded NGO, no third party group, no government blessing whatsoever.
00:16:58.080 We need to be declaring war on the Digital Censorship Act. Sorry, the Digital Services Act.
00:17:03.480 Anyone who is endorsing that cannot get a single dollar of U.S. government grant or contractual support, and we need to route this out root and stem.
00:17:18.040 So the fact that Biden had government agencies and pseudo-government agencies work with the U.S., with the EU government in order to kill U.S. companies, that dark age is over.
00:17:31.300 We're here for the golden age now.
00:17:33.480 The golden age begins. The little dark age has ended. Mike Benz, where can people go to follow you, my brother?
00:17:40.880 Find me on X at Mike Benz Cyber and at Foundation for Freedom Online. We're dropping a massive report in the next 24 hours over there.
00:17:49.100 Absolutely. By the way, great to see you at the Coronation Ball with Lomez and all the team. It was a triumphant, triumphant event. We'll be right back with breaking news on Pete Hegseth around the bend.
00:18:03.480 Working long hours. I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:18:08.680 All right, Jack Posobiec here. We are back live. That's a live shot you're looking at right now of Washington, D.C. here on Human Events Daily.
00:18:19.140 Very cold day here in Washington. And folks, let me tell you something.
00:18:23.400 When we may have won this election, the fight to restore our great nation is only beginning.
00:18:27.860 Now is the time to take a stand, and Patriot Mobile is leading the charge.
00:18:30.660 As America's only Christian conservative wireless provider, Patriot Mobile offers a way to vote with your wallet without compromising on quality or convenience.
00:18:39.000 Patriot Mobile isn't just about providing exceptional cell phone service.
00:18:42.620 It's a call to action to defend our rights and our freedoms.
00:18:46.640 With Patriot Mobile, you'll get outstanding nationwide coverage because they operate on all three major networks.

00:19:25.920 All right, breaking news.
00:19:27.900 I promised this before the segment here.
00:19:30.620 Lisa Murkowski, the senator from Alaska, has come out against Pete Hegseth's nomination.
00:19:38.380 She says she has met him.
00:19:40.360 And right here, I cannot in good conscience support his nomination for Secretary of Defense.
00:19:45.820 I do not make this decision lightly.
00:19:48.100 Rhino alert, folks.
00:19:49.620 We got a big old rhino alert coming up here in Alaska.
00:19:53.200 She says, I commend his service, leading troops and veterans.
00:19:57.120 She says she has significant concerns, talks about his expertise, talks about his qualifications, talks about statements on women in combat, talks about some of these media allegations that have been made regarding him.
00:20:12.380 And let's see, let's see, let's see.
00:20:15.940 I regret that I am unable to support Mr. Hegseth.
00:20:20.460 We have Mark Lucas on now, the executive vice president of the Article III project, someone who also served with Pete and knows him quite well.
00:20:29.700 Mark, how are you?
00:20:30.340 Great. Thanks for having me on.
00:20:35.600 So, Mark, let me get your reaction to this.
00:20:37.760 Lisa Murkowski, the first senator to come out unequivocally and put on the record that she is not for Pete.
00:20:46.760 Yeah, so I've known Pete for over a decade, so I can talk about his qualifications, his character.
00:20:53.040 He was my predecessor at Concerned Veterans for America, and he handed me a world-class organization.
00:20:59.060 I maintained his leadership team and his strategy.
00:21:02.560 And, you know, Pete Hegseth really built this vision of reforming the Department of Veterans Affairs.
00:21:07.980 So I saw his leadership firsthand.
00:21:10.100 He helped prepare me when I was meeting with President Trump at the White House to talk about how we could reform the VA.
00:21:16.800 We also served in the 34th Infantry Division.
00:21:20.260 Pete and I are warfighters.
00:21:21.800 We were both infantry, rifle, platoon leaders in combat.
00:21:24.700 If you want to talk about his qualifications, he deployed to Afghanistan.
00:21:29.460 He deployed to Iraq, Guantanamo Bay.
00:21:32.200 He's got two bronze stars.
00:21:33.920 He called in airstrikes.
00:21:36.000 I like to say that the trigger pullers love Pete Hegseth and the paper pushers hate him.
00:21:41.440 So with this development of Senator Murkowski coming out, look, at the end of the day, this comes down to math, right?
00:21:49.840 So this it's it is the Republicans have a 53 vote majority in the Senate.
00:21:54.880 That's assuming that no Democrats come over and vote for the nominee.
00:21:58.440 Obviously, you saw with Marco Rubio, 99.0.
00:22:02.120 So he did receive that confirmation once it seemed that he was going through.
00:22:06.160 He was the first cabinet nominee to be confirmed then.
00:22:09.960 But let's, you know, let's just talk party line because we were looking at math here.
00:22:13.280 So from 53 losing Murkowski, that takes it down to 52.
00:22:17.600 I know two others that particularly seem to be on the bubble as pertains to just the media reporting here in D.C.
00:22:23.260 are Susan Collins and Mitch McConnell.
00:22:26.160 So how do you think the math plays out and what is the tail of the tape here?
00:22:32.940 The math is still good for Pete Hegseth.
00:22:35.440 I believe that Pete Hegseth will be confirmed as our next secretary of defense, either late Friday evening or early Saturday morning.
00:22:43.540 Senate Democrats are playing games, which is very unfortunate because our national security is on the line.
00:22:49.460 And to go back in the time when President Joe Biden was elected president, two days after his inauguration, Lloyd Austin was confirmed as his secretary of defense.
00:22:59.940 And what we see is that Senate Democrats in particular, they don't believe that President Trump has a mandate.
00:23:06.740 I guess they don't believe in the will of the American people because we all saw that President Trump won in a historic landslide.
00:23:13.780 He won every single swing state.
00:23:16.880 The American people support this disruptor.
00:23:19.620 President Trump is our commander in chief.
00:23:21.720 But they also support his disruptor like cabinet with Pete Hegseth.
00:23:25.760 And what I've seen at the Article 3 project, you know, we developed a action center.
00:23:31.040 And Pete Hegseth, his nomination is extremely popular.
00:23:35.500 We've had over 30,000 people send in tens of thousands of messages to the United States senators in support of Pete Hegseth.
00:23:44.460 He is the right pick.
00:23:45.440 I feel good about the math.
00:23:47.200 And Pete Hegseth will be our next secretary of defense.
00:23:50.600 OK, so let me I'm just walking through some of these scenarios here.
00:23:53.920 So you're looking at potentially and by the way, the 53, the 53, 47, this was the vote that was taken on those party lines when it came to one of the procedural votes, I believe, yesterday.
00:24:05.060 So that's one of the things that were, you know, sort of taken is reading the tea leaves as potential for the floor vote.
00:24:10.620 But of course, moving the nomination along is not the same thing as voting to confirm.
00:24:14.800 So I know a lot of people or some folks out there, maybe not, maybe not in this audience, but some folks out there were saying that they thought maybe Pete had been confirmed yesterday.
00:24:21.860 It's not actually the case.
00:24:22.720 So you're saying possibly late tomorrow, early Saturday.
00:24:26.980 That, of course, means that it goes down.
00:24:30.080 So you've got Collins, you've got McConnell himself, and then it's down to 50.
00:24:34.600 And then, of course, in a 50-50 situation, it would be J.D. Vance who breaks the tie-breaking vote.
00:24:38.840 Is that correct?
00:24:41.400 That's correct.
00:24:42.260 And let's not forget during that procedural vote, Senator Fetterman from your home state of Pennsylvania voted to advance Pete's nomination.
00:24:50.980 So we have the ability of losing three Republicans.
00:24:54.200 We could pick up John Fetterman.
00:24:56.540 J.D. could come in for the tie-breaking vote.
00:25:00.340 But as we sit today, I believe that the math still looks good, that Pete Hegseth is on track to be our next secretary of defense.
00:25:07.260 And these smear campaigns as well are just acts of desperation.
00:25:12.220 I've been telling people that Pete Hegseth's confirmation is Kavanaugh 2.0.
00:25:17.200 We saw NBC News run a story yesterday with these fake allegations from Pete's former sister-in-law, which, by the way, Pete's ex-wife has forcefully refuted those.
00:25:30.180 That's an act of desperation.
00:25:31.980 Democrats know that the math is not on their side.
00:25:34.760 They know that Pete is very popular with the grassroots.
00:25:38.440 So they're trying everything they can to disrupt this nomination.
00:25:41.840 But I believe that the math is good, and he will go through.
00:25:44.420 Well, that's good news to hear.
00:25:48.440 And, of course, I know obviously a lot of people or some of the other nominees are probably going to be looking at these votes as well.
00:25:54.940 Tulsi Gabbard has now just been confirmed for a hearing.
00:25:59.080 She has the date next Thursday, so that will be the 30th.
00:26:03.060 We also know that Kash Patel is going up on the 29th.
00:26:06.780 I believe RFK is also going to be scheduled pretty soon here.
00:26:09.820 So a lot of the nominees, and these are the big ones, these are really, I think, the big three are Hegseth, RFK, and Tulsi Gabbard.
00:26:16.640 The people are really looking to, as pertains to, look, this is the agenda that the American people voted for.
00:26:22.540 These are the people that President Trump put up, obviously Hegseth not during the campaign, but afterwards.
00:26:27.660 And, look, at the end of the day, Pete Hegseth stands for the kind of things that President Trump spoke about forcefully on the campaign trail,
00:26:34.940 this idea of having an actual change agent at the Secretary of Defense, not having someone who's either part of the system
00:26:43.200 or someone who wants to simply continue business as business.
00:26:46.480 Isn't that right?
00:26:49.580 You're correct.
00:26:50.600 And we always knew that Pete Hegseth was going to be the most challenging nomination.
00:26:55.300 It was so outside of the box.
00:26:56.840 And we anticipated the Kavanaugh tactics from the left.
00:27:00.440 So this was supposed to be a challenge.
00:27:02.480 And so there's no surprises today.
00:27:04.780 He's on track.
00:27:05.960 And you're absolutely right that President Trump, he loves Pete Hegseth.
00:27:10.000 Pete is a warfighter first.
00:27:12.060 That's why veterans and even active duty service members all across the country have had such a positive response.
00:27:18.560 Recruiting is starting to pick back up.
00:27:21.460 And Pete Hegseth will return our military back to the fundamentals.
00:27:25.240 As I said before, Pete and I were both warfighters.
00:27:28.260 And in theater, we did not have time to focus on frivolous matters.
00:27:33.580 We had to focus on shoot, move, communicate, and stop bleeding.
00:27:38.160 And guess what didn't make the list?
00:27:40.140 DEI, transgender surgeries, or understanding white rage.
00:27:44.520 So Pete Hegseth, we need him desperately.
00:27:47.260 The world has never been more volatile than ever.
00:27:49.400 And Jack, you brought up a couple other confirmations as well.
00:27:53.100 And Tulsi Gabbard is kind of the same cloth.
00:27:56.160 Just like Pete and I, she was a member of the National Guard.
00:27:59.180 She brings an outsider lens into these intelligence agencies.
00:28:04.480 She deployed as a combat leader.
00:28:06.660 She's going to come in and disrupt an intelligence community that you know very well that needs major reform.
00:28:12.100 So we look forward to supporting all of Trump's cabinet selections.
00:28:15.760 Well, I've heard this also from a number of other senators.
00:28:20.100 We had Senator Lee.
00:28:21.180 We had Senator Johnson.
00:28:22.260 And a number of them have been saying simply that it looks as though the president, they don't expect President Trump's nominees to not be confirmed.
00:28:29.560 Sure, there might be a couple of votes here or there.
00:28:31.820 They go this way.
00:28:32.460 They go that way.
00:28:33.340 But at the end of the day, it's, look, the president won in a truly dominant and commanding fashion back in November.
00:28:40.080 And doing so, and as the president mentioned last night, he said, I did it the hard way, euphemism to say the least, understatement possibly of the millennium, that the president gets his cabinet.
00:28:53.620 The president gets his picks.
00:28:54.800 And their success and failure at the end of the day should be up to them rather than having the senators try to push too hard on the president's picks.
00:29:05.680 And we know, of course, that, you know, nothing against, nothing against Peter or Tulsi or any of the nominees.
00:29:10.920 But we know that President Trump certainly is more than willing to change out his cabinet should, should, should they, any issues arise.
00:29:18.680 Isn't that right?
00:29:21.720 You're absolutely correct.
00:29:23.240 And I would say this about the Senate.
00:29:25.280 You know, there's traditions, there's norms.
00:29:27.580 And I respect those, like every committee has different rules of how they refer these committees to the floor.
00:29:35.040 For instance, the Judiciary Committee, they have a couple days of hearings, which makes sense because some of those nominees are going to be judges in lifetime appointments.
00:29:45.020 And the Senate Armed Services Committee, they had one round of questioning for Pete Hegseth.
00:29:51.400 The Senate Republicans were able to expedite that.
00:29:53.960 They got them to the floor, and I respect tradition, but the American people, they understand that we are in a very pivotal time in modern-day history, and we need to get these people confirmed as soon as possible.
00:30:05.240 Mark Lucas, we're just about out of time here, Human Events Daily.
00:30:08.460 Go give them a follow, the Article III project where Mark Lucas works over with the great Mike Davis and also Bill Chamberlain.
00:30:14.580 We'll be right back with Michael Mays.
00:30:20.840 Jack, where is Jack?
00:30:22.140 Where is Jack?
00:30:25.760 Where is he?
00:30:27.040 Jack, I want to see you.
00:30:30.700 Great job, Jack.
00:30:32.080 Thank you.
00:30:32.860 What a job you do.
00:30:34.280 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:30:35.660 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting Pulisic.
00:30:41.440 All right, Jack Posobiec back, Human Events Daily, live, Washington, D.C.
00:30:47.500 By the way, breaking news over just moments ago in the United States Senate, John Ratcliffe has been confirmed as the CIA director in the Trump administration.
00:30:59.540 I don't have the exact numbers on the vote right now, but I'm going to get that down.
00:31:04.360 Oh, there it is, 74-25.
00:31:07.120 So huge, huge win right there for John Ratcliffe, picking up a number of Democrats, obviously, along with the 53 Republicans.
00:31:15.520 That comes on the heels of the news, that Lisa Murkowski's statement saying that she will not be supporting Pete Hegseth.
00:31:23.100 So a lot going on.
00:31:24.380 President Trump's nominees working their way through the Senate.
00:31:28.300 But there's something else that we need to discuss, folks, and we need to discuss a little bit more, because that Bishop S that we saw the other day at Tuesday, well, my brother and I were there, and we came here on the program immediately after having left that, I'm not even sure what you call it, because it certainly wasn't a mass, and it certainly wasn't a ceremony, but that performance, which was an interesting experience.
00:31:53.460 But there was another character that you might know that we actually were sitting right next to, and it was Michael Knowles who joins us now.
00:32:02.160 Michael, what's going on, man?
00:32:04.400 Jack, I'm doing well.
00:32:05.780 I've recovered from whatever it was that we witnessed at the National Cathedral, so-called, but it took a little while to process just exactly what we saw.
00:32:15.460 The first time that Jack Posobiec and Michael Knowles walk into a female priest, and that's what we get.
00:32:24.840 You know, it's almost like, you know, it's almost like Corinthians was, I don't know, a bit prescient in discussing these matters.
00:32:33.840 You know, it's not surprising that a lady who would mistake herself for a bishop might also confuse foreign nationals for American citizens or even little boys for little girls.
00:32:43.180 I guess this should have been expected.
00:32:46.540 But, you know, it's worth pointing out for those who are not history buffs or deep into theology, Christianity does not have priestesses.
00:32:55.760 Christianity has priests.
00:32:58.580 Our Lord chooses his disciples, his apostles, and there are disciples who are the ministers of Christ who act in persona Christi, in the person of Christ.
00:33:07.780 Now, there are plenty of other religions that have priestesses.
00:33:10.060 Priestesses go all the way back to antiquity, but they're usually part of pagan cults.
00:33:15.080 They're not part of Christianity.
00:33:17.000 And what we are seeing increasingly with these leftist activist organizations that masquerade as Christian ecclesial communities is we're seeing effectively pagan cults.
00:33:28.520 What this woman was talking about was so hideous because she was promoting a particularly egregious form of child abuse, the castration of little children.
00:33:37.520 And this partakes of Gnostic heresy, the notion that our true selves have nothing to do with our bodies.
00:33:43.520 That's an old ancient heresy that's been around for a long time, just like priestesses have.
00:33:47.080 But you're seeing the old, old demons rear their ugly heads again.
00:33:51.640 And it was quite, quite bizarre to see it all dressed up in a facade of Christianity.
00:33:57.400 You know, I got to ask you, man, when we walked in there, like, I did not expect this to blow up.
00:34:04.600 I did not expect this to be a newsworthy event in any way.
00:34:08.500 I expected this to sort of be, I don't know, perfunctory.
00:34:11.700 You know, you go in and you think it's going to be a prayer service and there's going to be some, yeah, sure, some talk of national unity.
00:34:18.140 And, hey, we pray for the country.
00:34:19.820 We pray that, I don't know, maybe the economy will go well.
00:34:23.060 And we pray for the safety of our soldiers.
00:34:28.000 And, you know, just very basic statements that you normally hear at a service.
00:34:32.460 And that, you know, we hope the country will be successful.
00:34:34.780 We can all come together, which, in fact, was really the majority of her sermon was talking about that.
00:34:41.640 And she said, I'm against the, you know, I'm against the culture of, you know, the culture of gotcha.
00:34:49.060 I'm against the culture of using this caustic process to be able to garner hatred and all of these things.
00:34:56.640 Well, that's kind of interesting.
00:34:57.720 And then she goes and does that at the very end, throws that little stinger on and then jumps all over CNN
00:35:03.000 because that's exactly what she wanted to do the entire time.
00:35:06.820 By the way, Scott Besson, who was also there, has already released an open letter to her calling for her to apologize,
00:35:13.680 which I certainly think that she should.
00:35:15.520 And within moments of this, I said that we should really look at the tax-exam status of said national cathedral
00:35:22.400 when you're having people like that run the place.
00:35:25.760 She, as you point out, undermined her own sermon.
00:35:28.720 The opening to it was perfectly fine, calling for unity.
00:35:31.700 I am all for unity, actually, and I think we should find commonality when it is possible.
00:35:36.840 But then she gave a deeply divisive and downright disgusting sermon on how Americans don't have the right to enforce basic national laws
00:35:45.200 and on how we should trans little kids.
00:35:47.600 So that was really bizarre.
00:35:49.320 Her sermon was so egregious that no one is even talking about the other slightly odd aspects of the ceremony,
00:35:56.080 notably that there was a Muslim call to prayer.
00:35:58.580 There was a reading from the Koran and then a Muslim call to prayer, which is no knock on our Muslim friends.
00:36:04.660 You know, we love our Muslim friends.
00:36:06.540 But it's an odd thing to hear a Muslim call to prayer in a cathedral.
00:36:10.600 A cathedral is supposed to be a Christian house of worship.
00:36:14.080 You know, I suppose we hear it in the Hagia Sophia, but it's for different reasons.
00:36:17.280 So what they clearly were trying to do, they brought in some white guy who has become a Buddhist and they had all sorts of odd things there.
00:36:26.600 But what they wanted to do was be totally inclusive of everything.
00:36:30.460 But the problem is you can't really include everything because going back to good old Uncle Aristotle, there's a law of non-contradiction.
00:36:37.560 You can't simultaneously hold opposing things to be true.
00:36:41.060 And I think this is actually a big theme of the opening days of the administration.
00:36:44.240 We want to bring everyone in.
00:36:45.400 We want national unity.
00:36:46.980 President Trump says, I'm going to be a great president for everyone.
00:36:49.080 Everyone's going to do better on my watch.
00:36:51.380 But we need to have certain limits here.
00:36:53.740 Okay.
00:36:54.060 You know, the most basic one from her sermon being the difference between boys and girls.
00:36:59.420 You know, we need to have limits.
00:37:01.220 We need to know what it is that we believe.
00:37:03.040 Are we, as we've been told from the beginning of our country, one nation under God that believes in certain unalienable rights?
00:37:11.080 Are we, as John Adams said, founded on the principles of Christianity?
00:37:16.040 Are we, as John Jay said, so happy to have been birthed as a nation with this common religion?
00:37:22.000 Or is it just totally up for grabs?
00:37:25.100 You know, I think in recent years, Christianity has tried to be absolutely everything to everyone, and we've lost our identity.
00:37:32.320 Just as in politics, we've lost our national identity.
00:37:35.780 You know, I just have to say the idea that the national cathedral is run by this woke junta of Episcopalians just clearly flies in the face of everything that we stand as a nation that's been constituted.
00:37:52.900 By the way, you know, some of the religions you mentioned right there, or the groups that you mentioned, we're talking about like 1% of the population.
00:37:59.060 And America has always been a Christian-majority nation.
00:38:03.780 It remains a Christian-majority nation.
00:38:06.480 That doesn't mean we can't be ecumenical.
00:38:08.480 That doesn't mean that we can't be pluralistic.
00:38:10.840 And I certainly understand all of those things.
00:38:12.840 But going into this, we were not looking for a circus.
00:38:15.740 And they absolutely turned it into the circus with the bishopess becoming the chief clown in the three-ring act, which, of course, President Trump called out as he rightfully should.
00:38:28.060 That's right.
00:38:28.760 You know, different religions believe different things.
00:38:31.420 And so we like to be tolerant.
00:38:33.120 We like to be gracious.
00:38:34.000 We like to welcome people.
00:38:35.400 But, you know, to use the example of Islam, Islam has a view of God that is very different than the Christian view of God.
00:38:40.640 The Christian view of God identifies God as both will and intellect, that God is synonymous with logic.
00:38:47.020 You know, in the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God.
00:38:51.400 The Islamic view is a voluntarist view that says that Allah is pure will, that Allah is not necessarily tied with logic.
00:38:58.260 So your mileage may vary on what conclusion you come to, but those are just different views.
00:39:03.240 And so you can't simultaneously embrace all these kinds of religions.
00:39:07.400 And what you end up with is just an abandonment of your traditional religion, the true religion, as I would call it.
00:39:14.620 And you end up with this kind of feel-good, happy-clappy gobbledygook that really isn't good for anyone.
00:39:20.960 The one real positive thing I would say about this sermon, though, is the blowback that it got.
00:39:25.700 Because we just had a referendum on these kinds of crazy views, and Trump won.
00:39:30.420 And Trump didn't just win in the Electoral College.
00:39:32.040 He won the popular vote, and he won one in five black male voters, which is a huge number compared to recent years.
00:39:38.440 He won almost half of Hispanics.
00:39:40.080 He actually won a lot of Muslim votes.
00:39:41.780 He won 40 percent of women under the age of 30.
00:39:43.880 So we had this referendum, and her pitiful, ridiculous remarks struck me as the last gasp of a dying and deservedly dying ideology
00:39:54.340 as we move into something newer and better, and maybe a golden age of America, as President Trump calls it.
00:40:00.440 Quick break.
00:40:01.180 Coming up, we've got one more segment with Michael Knowles.
00:40:03.300 By the way, one of my favorites in there, 67 percent of Native Americans.
00:40:08.480 Yes, that's right.
00:40:09.140 American Indians, 67 percent, the highest demographic.
00:40:13.280 Because even they are completely sick of it.
00:40:16.240 Elizabeth Warren, what did you do, girl?
00:40:18.760 What did you do?
00:40:20.020 Be right back.
00:40:20.540 Jack is a great guy.
00:40:39.840 He's written a fantastic book.
00:40:41.580 Everybody's talking about it.
00:40:42.840 Go get it.
00:40:43.980 And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:40:47.440 And we're going to turn it around and make sure we're going to give it to you.
00:40:51.160 Amen.
00:40:54.760 All right, Jack Wasobo, we are back here, Washington, D.C.
00:40:58.100 We've got Michael Knowles.
00:40:59.460 So, Knowles, let me ask you about the second part of what the Bishop S. spoke about.
00:41:05.160 And this, of course, is already Axios had their interesting tweet up saying that
00:41:10.140 President Trump is flying in the face of Christian values by deporting criminals and saying that they shouldn't be here.
00:41:16.580 That's not very Christ-like of him.
00:41:18.980 What is or what should be the Christian response when people hear that you shouldn't deport criminals from your nation?
00:41:27.240 I always love when atheists who have never cracked the spine of a Bible decide that they're going to tell Christians what their religion says.
00:41:36.020 I always find that so charming.
00:41:37.640 But, no, there is nothing in Christianity that says that nations are not allowed to have borders.
00:41:44.140 There's nothing in Christianity that says that people are not allowed to enforce the most basic national laws.
00:41:50.500 I think they need to look into their history books.
00:41:52.580 732, we had a bit of a deportation when there was an Islamic invasion that made it 150 miles outside of Paris.
00:41:59.920 Was Charles Martel unchristian for sending them packing?
00:42:04.120 How about the Battle of Lepanto, 1571?
00:42:06.300 How about the Battle of Vienna?
00:42:07.240 All these times, mass migration waves that were repelled.
00:42:10.920 And we have Christendom, we have Western civilization because of those expulsions.
00:42:16.200 The Reconquista went from 711 to 1492.
00:42:20.040 And, in fact, the woman behind the end of the Reconquista, Queen Isabella, is a servant of God on her way to St. Louis.
00:42:25.240 So, I think history gets in the way of a lot of these claims.
00:42:29.340 And even the mass deportations that you're seeing so far are focused on the most egregious criminals.
00:42:36.160 There was a gang member from Haiti who was filmed today screaming out of a cop car saying,
00:42:40.800 I'm not going back to Haiti.
00:42:42.420 Spoiler alert, he is going back to Haiti.
00:42:44.580 And it's really important.
00:42:45.460 This is what the people voted for.
00:42:47.100 If we don't enforce the simplest laws, the most fundamental laws in our country,
00:42:52.120 then we don't have a country, we don't have a right to self-government,
00:42:54.760 and we might as well pack up the whole American political project.
00:42:59.320 I couldn't agree more.
00:43:00.820 I mean, history just flies in the face of so many of these.
00:43:03.040 By the way, I got into it with David French once about the Bible in schools.
00:43:07.180 And I used the exact same tactic to point out that, yes, the Bible was not mandated in schools,
00:43:12.300 but historically, every schoolhouse in America, or certainly a vast majority of them,
00:43:17.740 would open with the Pledge of Allegiance and then the reading of a verse from Scripture.
00:43:21.920 It was completely common.
00:43:23.360 It was American history for all the way up pretty much into the 1960s or so.
00:43:28.280 And so that's why I spent all day here on the show yesterday saying that if you want the 50s back,
00:43:33.620 you have to repeal the 60s.
00:43:35.320 It's as simple as that.
00:43:37.140 Very simple.
00:43:38.100 And it reminds me of what Ronald Reagan said,
00:43:40.040 which is that it's not that our liberal friends are ignorant.
00:43:43.140 It's just that they know so much that isn't so.
00:43:44.920 But as you point out, Jack, the Bible in schools, prayer in schools, was commonplace.
00:43:49.940 It was essentially universal until the middle to latter part of the 20th century when a bunch of libs decided to rewrite the Constitution.
00:43:57.420 But why is it?
00:43:58.140 Is it because we had forced conversions or forced religion or something?
00:44:02.360 No, not at all.
00:44:03.200 But just think about this.
00:44:04.540 If you're going to go to school, you go there to be educated.
00:44:08.520 It is not possible to be educated without familiarity with the most important book ever written.
00:44:14.460 Even if you don't believe the Bible, even if you don't practice religion, you might be the most hardcore atheist out there.
00:44:19.460 I think you've got to admit it's a pretty important book.
00:44:22.380 So, sure, you can read your Toni Morrison.
00:44:24.880 You can read your William Faulkner.
00:44:26.540 He's a good writer.
00:44:27.340 But the more important book to read is the Bible.
00:44:30.200 You can't be an educated person without that.
00:44:33.180 And, by the way, you can't be an educated person without some kind of moral education as well.
00:44:38.480 The libs tricked us when they said, you know, we just want to teach children how to think, not what to think.
00:44:44.260 That is a meaningless statement because you can't know how to think without knowing certain facts.
00:44:50.600 You know, you can't know how to think about the American Revolution without knowing that it kicked off in 1775 and 1776.
00:44:58.120 You can't know much about the Civil War unless you know that fact that the Civil War kicks off in 1860.
00:45:03.940 You can't know much about mathematics without knowing that 2 plus 2 equals 4.
00:45:09.960 So you have to know certain facts.
00:45:11.720 You have to know that it's wrong to commit murder.
00:45:13.360 You've got to know basic stuff.
00:45:14.740 And that's all you're seeing here with the new Trump administration is you're seeing a return to common sense.
00:45:20.900 You're seeing a return to normal.
00:45:23.320 By the way, it's funny you mention that, too, because I've – you know my wife, of course, coming from Eastern Europe, and then I've also even spent time in China.
00:45:31.280 And guess what?
00:45:32.220 The Chinese teach their kids that what to think.
00:45:35.600 In Eastern Europe, they teach people what to think just in terms of the basics of history.
00:45:40.680 They teach you civilization.
00:45:41.800 They teach you the Roman Empire.
00:45:43.740 They teach you how all of these things came to pass.
00:45:46.100 And, yes, they certainly do have their sort of perspective on it.
00:45:49.720 But also that makes sense for a nation.
00:45:52.480 Only two minutes left in this segment.
00:45:54.540 But, Knowles, I've got to ask you, huge scoop out of the Daily Wire.
00:45:57.800 Mary Margaret Olihan having the byline on it.
00:46:02.160 President Trump working to pardon the pro-lifers who were imprisoned under the FACE Act, potentially within days.
00:46:10.340 Now, I know that the March for Life obviously kicks off tomorrow, the annual March for Life.
00:46:15.500 You know, it would be interesting timing if the pro-lifers were actually pardoned and that could be announced right at the march.
00:46:22.240 Congrats on the scoop.
00:46:23.500 And what are you hearing?
00:46:24.100 I am so elated to hear this news.
00:46:28.600 I hope and trust that it will come to pass.
00:46:31.260 There's been so much great stuff that's come out of the first days of the Trump administration.
00:46:34.900 The one thing I've been waiting on is, I said, when is he going to pardon these pro-lifers?
00:46:38.480 For people who are not familiar with the story, these are activists, people who all they care about is praying and peaceably demonstrating in front of these satanic abortion mills and trying to save innocent little babies.
00:46:49.360 And the Biden administration tossed these people into prison because of a bogus law that was passed during the Clinton administration, the FACE Act, which is just a way to give special protection to abortion mills.
00:47:00.340 It's awful stuff.
00:47:01.260 I mean, elderly women rotting in prison because they care about babies and they're trying to save them.
00:47:06.280 So this is probably the greatest injustice of the last four years, and I am fully confident that President Trump is going to rectify that.
00:47:15.500 And the man has a knack for showmanship, so the timing with the March for Life is spot on, I think.
00:47:21.080 Right, you know, I was looking at it myself, I said, well, you know, the March for Life is on Friday, and this thing is coming down.
00:47:28.600 I mean, it really just kind of lines up, the March for Life becoming the forcing function for that President Trump also, by the way, being the first president to ever attend as a sitting president the March for Life.
00:47:40.140 I went, I took my mother, as a matter of fact, and it was an incredible event, and I remember the Bush years when he wouldn't come down, even when he was just a couple of feet away in the White House.
00:47:52.580 He would call in, and they would act like it was a big deal.
00:47:55.820 Michael Knowles, everybody knows where to follow you, but shout out your coordinates anyway.
00:48:00.280 Well, you can catch the show at the Daily Wire, the Michael Knowles Show.
00:48:02.760 You can go catch all my links at michaeljknowles.com, and you can always smoke a nice Mayflower cigar to celebrate all this winning.
00:48:08.720 Uh-oh, the Mayflower cigar sounds a little bit like colonization.
00:48:14.700 I don't know about that.
00:48:15.840 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission.
