00:00:25.780 The Poso Daily Brief.
00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
00:00:39.680 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.300 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.
00:00:49.320 Christ is king.
00:00:50.940 Google is releasing its list of top search trends of 2025.
00:00:55.440 2025's top search trend in the U.S. was Charlie Kirk.
00:00:58.700 We're seeing the chilling moments after Luigi Mangione allegedly shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a New York City hotel.
00:01:06.620 You can see the shooter walk toward the victim, appearing to briefly glance down as he lay dying on the sidewalk before turning to cross the street, then starting to run, disappearing down an alley.
00:01:17.180 This week, new evidence is being revealed in court as accused killer Luigi Mangione sits and watches.
00:01:23.180 After a shooting, gunshots fired there at the home of Tim Pool, who, of course, is known as a big political commentator with millions upon millions of fans on a different social media platform.
00:01:36.280 Meanwhile, two new polls show a notable number of young Americans accept some form of political violence, a shift from generations before them.
00:01:43.980 In its biannual youth poll, the Harvard Institute of Politics revealed that 39% of Americans ages 18 to 29 showed some acceptance of political violence, while a poll from Gallup and the Kettering Foundation shows 30% of 18 to 29-year-olds say political violence is sometimes okay.
00:02:01.320 That's the highest portion of any age group.
00:02:03.260 The Supreme Court says it will hear an expedited appeal of President Trump's attempt to end birthright citizenship by executive order.
00:02:10.560 The court did not explain its decision, and the case will likely be heard next spring.
00:02:16.680 For more than 100 years, courts, you know, interpreted the Constitution to give U.S. citizenship to anyone born on American soil, regardless of the legal status of the parents.
00:02:27.780 Now, that may hang in the balance.
00:02:30.240 Should they be allowed to buy Warner Brothers?
00:02:33.320 Well, that's the question.
00:02:34.400 They have a very big market share.
00:02:36.740 And when they have Warner Brothers, you know, that share goes up a lot.
00:02:39.560 So, I don't know.
00:02:40.160 That's going to be for some economists to tell.
00:02:43.040 And also, and I'll be involved in that decision, too.
00:02:45.600 But they have a very big market share.
00:02:48.900 All right, Jack.
00:02:49.580 So, we are back live.
00:02:51.260 Human Events Daily.
00:02:52.160 Real America's voice today is December 8th, 2025.
00:02:56.120 Anno Domini.
00:02:58.220 Ave Maria.
00:03:00.220 Folks, President Trump, you just heard him winding in there and stepping in, saying that the Netflix deal with Warner Brothers could have some problems.
00:03:09.000 And this, of course, amid the massive Stranger Things scandal, the Obama scandal that has been coming out over to light over the last couple of weeks, really since, I would say, Thanksgiving, is when this all rolled out.
00:03:22.080 And what we've done, by the way, here at Human Events Daily, is we took that portion of us breaking down how all of this ties together from thought crime last week.
00:03:30.600 And we've released that as a special episode so that everyone can go and dig in.
00:03:35.900 If you don't want to listen to the whole episode, that's fine.
00:03:37.560 Just dig in.
00:03:38.360 We've released it as a separate standalone special on.
00:03:41.880 And I'm just calling it out.
00:03:42.800 I'm calling it out for what it is.
00:03:44.180 Netflix put pedo programming in Stranger Things.
00:03:49.580 Now, I can't sit here and say that Barack Obama and Michelle Obama ordered that.
00:03:53.500 But what I can also see, and what we can all see, the world can see, is that Barack Obama, Michelle Obama signed a massive deal with Netflix going all the way back to what?
00:04:04.940 2018.
00:04:05.620 And when Susan Rice left the Biden administration, came back to Netflix, they extended the Obama's deal with Netflix.
00:04:14.960 So do you wonder, when did Netflix get so woke?
00:04:18.800 Why did every single thing they do have to turn into gay race communism?
00:04:23.600 Why did every single adaptation have to become racial and LGBT?
00:04:28.440 Why did everything that Netflix did, especially for kids, have to be LGBT?
00:04:32.780 Well, it's interesting, because if you track the trajectory of Stranger Things, you say, all right, season one, amazing, right?
00:04:41.480 So good.
00:04:42.820 And it was a show about small town mystery, throwing a sci-fi element, super 1980s nostalgia vibes, instant hit.
00:04:53.680 They even talked about MKUltra back in them, their days.
00:04:57.300 But then all of a sudden, the show just got, and I'm going to say it again, the show got gayer and gayer and gayer and gayer and gayer and gayer.
00:05:05.840 And now season five, you've basically got gay Darth Vader versus gay Luke Skywalker.
00:05:11.680 And they go back and throw in this thing with Will when he was a little kid, so they go back to season one.
00:05:16.520 Completely disgusting.
00:05:18.040 Utterly revolting.
00:05:19.360 And anyone who saw this with eyes to see knows exactly what I'm talking about.
00:05:25.260 I don't want to be legal to point.
00:05:27.280 But they did this, and you can't separate the Obama's influence from what they did and from what is in the number one show around the world.
00:05:37.980 And so we're going to call it out.
00:05:41.000 And Netflix, they can do whatever they want.
00:05:43.560 But so Netflix, here's the state of play.
00:05:45.200 So Netflix had the bid in to Warner Brothers and said, well, we don't want all the TV channels.
00:05:50.960 We don't want CNN.
00:05:51.860 We don't want TNT.
00:05:52.800 We'll give you $83 billion.
00:05:54.420 Now Paramount comes out this morning and says, you know what?
00:05:58.900 We'll put in $108 billion.
00:06:01.240 Hostile offer goes straight to the shareholders, bypasses the board, bypasses all the woke lefties that they have up there who are tight with the Obamas because they know who's on the board.
00:06:11.820 Susan Rice is on the board.
00:06:14.140 Susan Rice, who's Obama's board member on Netflix.
00:06:18.140 That's why Paramount is bypassing them because they know Susan Rice is going to block anything.
00:06:23.080 So they say more money, more shareholder value, more dollars per share, right, 30s versus 23.
00:06:29.440 And every single aspect of Warner Brothers would be in this deal.
00:06:35.460 What did President Trump say last night at the Kennedy Center?
00:06:37.920 He said the deal could have big problems because of the anti-trust issues going in with too much market share to the streamers.
00:06:46.880 Plus, he even came out today and said he's not too happy with Paramount either because of what they're doing with CBS in 60 Minutes.
00:06:53.200 Folks, we're in the hunt on this thing.
00:06:57.020 We're absolutely in the hunt.
00:06:58.680 And President Trump has everyone exactly where he wants them.
00:07:02.660 Be right back.
00:07:03.240 Human Events Daily continues.
00:07:05.180 We're in the hunt.
00:07:06.360 We're in the hunt.
00:07:07.120 We're in the hunt.
00:07:08.420 We're in the hunt.
00:07:09.020 We're in the hunt.
00:07:09.620 We're in the hunt.
00:07:09.720 We're in the hunt.
00:07:12.020 We're in the hunt.
00:07:13.620 We're in the hunt.
00:07:14.680 Stand in our way.
00:07:15.660 And our golden age has just begun.
00:07:18.160 This is Human Events with Jack Pasoba.
00:07:19.940 Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.
00:07:24.440 Welcome to the second American revolution.
00:07:33.220 All right, Jack Posobiec, we are back live here.
00:07:36.040 Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice.
00:07:38.700 Folks, if you use Gmail, ChatGPT, AT&T, DoorDash, or Comcast,
00:07:43.240 you are now at a critically elevated risk level.
00:07:46.200 In just the last few months, there have been confirmed major security breaches
00:07:52.460 at each of these companies.
00:07:54.760 The leaks expose names, emails, addresses, phone numbers,
00:07:57.760 and behavioral patterns that scammers rely on to target who?
00:08:00.800 You.
00:08:01.560 Data brokers publish detailed profiles on every single American adult.
00:08:05.800 Your home, your family, your habits, your age, your income, your online footprint,
00:08:09.920 everything scammers need to calculate whether you're a profitable target.
00:08:14.140 Don't believe it?
00:08:14.840 Google your name and address, and you'll see hundreds of websites
00:08:17.260 publishing your intimate details of your life.
00:08:19.400 That's unless you use Patriot Protect.
00:08:21.580 And Patriot Protect removes your personal data from the internet,
00:08:25.360 wiping it from Google and every major site where scammers, cyber criminals,
00:08:28.620 and stalkers hunt for victims.
00:08:30.560 You never agreed to share this info.
00:08:33.000 Now you can take it back.
00:08:34.560 Patriot Protect scans and deletes your personal information from 100-plus people's
00:08:38.880 search engines and data brokers.
00:08:41.020 These are the exact sites scammers use to case you before they strike.
00:08:45.120 Once your profile is eliminated, their search and destroy protocol runs continuous monitoring,
00:08:50.940 so every new exposure is detected and wiped immediately.
00:08:54.240 It's the peace of mind from having your own security team,
00:08:57.300 all for the cost of keeping your porch lights on.
00:09:00.020 Because the only thing worse than getting hacked is knowing you could have stopped it.
00:09:04.860 So use promo code POSO for 15% off the yearly subscription.
00:09:09.040 Again, that's promo code POSO for 15% off.
00:09:13.400 Very excited now to welcome on our next guest,
00:09:16.960 the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dillon.
00:09:20.800 Harmeet, how are you?
00:09:22.360 I'm great.
00:09:22.920 Thanks for having me, Jack.
00:09:24.780 Thank you.
00:09:25.320 And I must say right off the top, that is a lovely sweater.
00:09:28.980 Thank you very much, Vintage 2021.
00:09:31.400 Knit it myself.
00:09:32.200 It's the holiday season.
00:09:33.520 Festive.
00:09:33.940 That's what I was going with, with the flannel today.
00:09:37.580 And here I thought I would be the only one.
00:09:39.140 So I'm glad that we were of the same mind on that.
00:09:42.540 Yeah.
00:09:43.440 Yeah, absolutely.
00:09:44.640 We're all kicking back.
00:09:46.980 I wanted to get in.
00:09:48.380 You've put forward an incredible, there's this new case,
00:09:52.460 and you're really at the head of it, regarding the states and regarding voter rolls.
00:09:56.920 Give us an update on that, because I understand it's expanding.
00:10:00.220 Right.
00:10:00.620 Well, you know, it's a tedious process, because each of these states has to be contacted,
00:10:05.540 negotiated with, under our deadlines and rules, and then sued individually.
00:10:10.000 So we started this project months ago.
00:10:12.160 We have demanded the voter rolls from all the 50 states.
00:10:16.180 Some of them stepped up and immediately, or with a little bit of pushing, complied.
00:10:20.880 So that's four states.
00:10:22.300 We sued one-on-one a settlement.
00:10:23.980 That's North Carolina.
00:10:24.980 We have—we are close to reaching resolution with a dozen states, and we will be getting
00:10:30.220 their data and helping them clean up their voter rolls very shortly.
00:10:33.780 And then, finally, we've sued 14 states in 15 lawsuits.
00:10:38.160 California got sued twice, once Orange County and once statewide.
00:10:41.700 And they're fighting our lawsuits.
00:10:44.180 These are mainly blue states.
00:10:45.320 These are blue states that routinely and freely share their voter data with groups like ERIC
00:10:51.160 and other organizations.
00:10:53.120 But they somehow claim that the DOJ and the United States government doesn't have a secure
00:10:59.420 system for maintaining this data, even though much of the important data we're requesting
00:11:04.180 comes from the federal government, like Social Security numbers.
00:11:07.480 And we have databases that we run this information through.
00:11:10.800 And we found some pretty shocking things.
00:11:12.520 So I'm glad that this project is moving along now.
00:11:17.000 Well, that's absolutely incredible.
00:11:19.700 And it's something that's needed.
00:11:21.040 Obviously, President Trump made that a key point and a key plank of the 2024 election.
00:11:28.180 And for so many people saying, oh, you know, where's the results?
00:11:31.360 Well, obviously, you're sitting there.
00:11:33.180 You're getting them.
00:11:33.860 I also wanted to call out, because I hadn't even seen this really reported beyond what you
00:11:38.460 had said already just on Twitter.
00:11:40.860 For the new 2A section of the Civil Rights Department, a new Second Amendment section.
00:11:48.720 Walk us through that.
00:11:50.200 Yeah, well, this is historic.
00:11:51.780 And for some reason, the fake news media doesn't like to really amplify what we're doing at the
00:11:57.680 DOJ.
00:11:58.340 But ever since I got here, I joined other patriots here in this great organization, institution,
00:12:03.680 including the attorney general, trying to figure out ways that we can highlight and expand the
00:12:07.860 work that we're doing.
00:12:08.540 And luckily, the Supreme Court has given us some good tools with the Bruin decision three
00:12:13.440 years ago and other decisions that have made it clear that the Second Amendment is not a
00:12:18.420 Second Amendment, second-class right.
00:12:20.540 That's what the attorney general is very fond of saying about this issue.
00:12:24.240 And so, so far, I've gone to court and personally argued against Illinois' so-called assault weapons
00:12:30.640 ban.
00:12:31.640 I also have helped with the Solicitor General's briefing in the Wolford case in Hawaii, challenging
00:12:37.440 their ludicrous restrictions over there.
00:12:39.900 And we have sued Los Angeles County for unreasonable delays in issuing concealed carry permits that
00:12:46.780 under Bruin are supposed to be issued very quickly.
00:12:48.700 I got mine here in D.C. in six days.
00:12:51.180 You know, so kudos to them for following the law.
00:12:54.060 And other cases are planned.
00:12:56.620 All over the country, there are states that have unreasonable restrictions, not just blue states
00:13:01.200 or some red states with some outdated restrictions on there that are inconsistent with the law.
00:13:05.880 Some states charge thousands of dollars to even apply for a concealed carry permit.
00:13:10.480 This is not constitutional.
00:13:12.240 And this focus is important.
00:13:13.820 Now, I got some pushback from Democrat members of Congress about this, because we have to
00:13:18.140 float this through Congress before we set up a new section.
00:13:21.080 So there's a lot of hurdles, a lot of paperwork.
00:13:23.600 They're like, why do we need a Second Amendment section?
00:13:25.500 And, you know, to ask the question shows you why we need it.
00:13:29.240 Because if you're not aware of how restrictive it is, how—I may have concealed carry, which
00:13:34.880 I do in D.C., but the minute you cross over a state line, suddenly you're at risk for
00:13:39.320 being arrested because of some dumb rule in a different jurisdiction.
00:13:42.380 Here in D.C., as a woman, I can't carry that weapon in my purse.
00:13:48.420 I have to carry it on my person.
00:13:50.000 So there's some restrictions here that really make us more vulnerable unnecessarily.
00:13:54.500 And so there are a lot of things that we're going to be looking at.
00:13:56.480 I won't tip our hand, but expect a lot of activity from the Second Amendment section and
00:14:00.360 a lot of commitment from this DOJ to eliminating unnecessary state laws and interfere with this
00:14:04.940 fundamental right of law-abiding citizens to carry and bear and use arms.
00:14:12.380 Well, no, I just want to—I'm actually thinking about this as you're saying this,
00:14:16.020 that you're talking about the Department of Justice, Second Amendment section.
00:14:20.000 We've had the Second Amendment for as long as we've had the United States.
00:14:23.720 It dates back to 1791 and the original ratification of the Constitution.
00:14:28.940 This isn't the first time we've had a Second Amendment section under the Attorney General,
00:14:32.500 though, is it?
00:14:32.860 It surely can't be.
00:14:33.760 It is.
00:14:35.420 It is.
00:14:36.100 This attorney general did it and approved it.
00:14:39.040 And I'm so proud to be part of it.
00:14:41.920 The Civil Rights Division is where it's housed because we safeguard America's civil rights,
00:14:46.420 but we work with lawyers from other parts of the government as well.
00:14:50.300 And so, you know, there's a lot of focus on this.
00:14:52.720 A lot of us are weapons owners in, you know, the political appointees of the DOJ and, of course,
00:14:58.560 in other sections of the government.
00:14:59.600 So we personally have experienced the discrimination.
00:15:02.520 I came from California.
00:15:04.160 I have two firearms from California that now California is trying to ban.
00:15:09.520 So it is a constant whack-a-mole with these states trying to restrict rights to buy ammo.
00:15:14.980 And, oh, a Glock is not safe.
00:15:17.220 And this gun should be designed that way.
00:15:19.140 Suddenly they're gun designers, too.
00:15:20.660 So this is insane.
00:15:21.820 I know there's a lot of frustration from our beloved Second Amendment activists out there.
00:15:27.100 My former law firm used to do a lot of work for some of the leading gun organizations.
00:15:33.120 So we hear from them.
00:15:34.460 But it is an important priority of the DOJ.
00:15:36.940 And I hope people will give us some grace as we get moving on this.
00:15:41.380 You know, that's interesting you mention this because I can't say anything about this publicly,
00:15:47.540 but I recently also had a pitch for, totally separate from this, but recently had a pitch
00:15:53.260 to a major national conservative organization that I know is undergoing a process of expansion.
00:16:01.080 And they are talking about adding a pro-life section.
00:16:05.060 And I said, guys, you know, I would love to see a Second Amendment vertical because I think
00:16:09.720 it's just something that, you know, for a variety of reasons.
00:16:12.420 But really, since the Bruins decision, I think, has kind of taken a second, you know,
00:16:18.160 maybe taken a backseat to a lot of other discussions that are out there and certainly
00:16:21.980 very worthy discussions that have all been held.
00:16:24.600 Civil rights on every front need to be upheld.
00:16:26.680 There's no question for every American.
00:16:28.660 But it really does stand to bring it back forward that the Second Amendment rights that
00:16:33.080 we have won, won defense of through a variety of these decisions, absolutely need to be upheld.
00:16:39.140 And you're exactly right.
00:16:39.940 When, when you talk about some of the states, are there, are there any in particular that
00:16:43.900 you would consider to be the largest violators?
00:16:48.340 California's really bad.
00:16:49.420 New York, Illinois, you know, the, the usual suspects you would, you would expect.
00:16:54.340 And well, actually, let me, let me rephrase that.
00:16:56.620 Let me rephrase that.
00:16:57.080 Are there any red states that we wouldn't expect, but actually are?
00:17:01.480 Yeah, I'm not going to comment on that.
00:17:03.220 You know, whenever, before we file a lawsuit against a state, we usually try to reach out and
00:17:09.120 give them a chance to fix things.
00:17:11.300 Sometimes they do.
00:17:12.840 So I think that's a fair and efficient way to do things.
00:17:15.340 We don't just like go, quote unquote, pardon my pun, guns a blazing into federal court.
00:17:20.220 We usually try to work things out first.
00:17:22.840 And why this is so important, I'll just give you one stat.
00:17:25.520 The United States Supreme Court has had seven times the number of decisions on First Amendment
00:17:31.260 cases versus Second Amendment.
00:17:33.360 And so these rights do not defend themselves.
00:17:36.800 It requires constant vigilance from private lawyers and now the United States to help protect
00:17:42.720 this important right.
00:17:43.620 And I'm, I'm really proud of it.
00:17:45.180 And look, this is done under President Trump's leadership and Attorney General Bondi's leadership.
00:17:50.100 Who knows what the future holds, but I can promise you that for the balance of this
00:17:53.600 administration, this is going to be a top priority for the Civil Rights Division Department
00:17:57.420 of Justice.
00:17:57.880 Well, and there's so much jurisprudence and there's so there's outlet after outlet for
00:18:04.160 defending the First Amendment as a civil right.
00:18:07.020 And it certainly is.
00:18:08.520 But when it comes to the Second Amendment, we, you know, we get told, oh, that's a conservative
00:18:12.480 thing.
00:18:12.920 But it's not.
00:18:13.680 The Founding Fathers certainly didn't see it that way.
00:18:15.460 They saw it as a human right.
00:18:17.200 And something I always say is that it is the right to self-defense and the right to self-defense
00:18:21.260 is the expression, is the outward expression of the right to life of the individual, that
00:18:27.040 if you have that right, then you ought to be able to defend it.
00:18:30.860 And that is what the Second Amendment is all about.
00:18:34.540 In addition, by the way, to all of the other elements of the Second Amendment coming up on
00:18:39.980 a quick break.
00:18:40.540 But we will have more when we continue after that with Assistant Attorney General Harmi Dillon.
00:18:46.800 Incredible news, a Second Amendment division section under the Department of Justice for
00:18:53.660 the first time in, well, it's America's 250th.
00:18:56.560 We're going to just say it.
00:18:57.280 I'm saying in 250 years, a Second Amendment division.
00:19:03.180 God bless America.
00:19:04.880 Thank you to A.G.
00:19:05.740 Bondi and thank you, President Trump.
00:19:07.460 Right back.
00:19:13.840 You talk about influencers.
00:19:15.480 These are influencers and they're friends of mine.
00:19:19.920 Jack Kosovic.
00:19:21.400 Where's Jack?
00:19:22.360 Jack.
00:19:23.400 He's done a great job.
00:19:27.960 All right, Jack Kosovic.
00:19:29.120 We are back live.
00:19:30.520 Human Events Daily.
00:19:31.460 Folks, you know, I've been telling you, you have to pay attention to what's happening with
00:19:34.780 the dollar, debt, central banks, cryptocurrency.
00:19:37.760 It's all piling up.
00:19:39.280 When things get rocky, gold has always been the safe haven.
00:19:42.740 But now gold is not just defensive.
00:19:44.500 It's an offensive asset.
00:19:46.340 It's already over $4,000 an ounce.
00:19:48.280 An analyst of forecasting could go over $5,000.
00:19:51.560 And silver just hit another all-time high.
00:19:53.800 That's why I've been working with my partners at Allegiance Gold for the past three years.
00:19:58.800 They help you protect your savings and retirement with real physical gold and silver, not just
00:20:03.820 paper promises.
00:20:04.980 And right now, Allegiance Gold is making it even better.
00:20:07.480 They'll donate 1% of qualified investments from my audience to Turning Point USA.
00:20:13.180 Or if you want another great America first organization, in addition to the 1% you already
00:20:18.700 qualify for.
00:20:20.180 So you can protect your wealth and support the movement at the same time.
00:20:23.540 If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it.
00:20:26.100 Don't overthink it.
00:20:27.120 Don't wait until it's too late.
00:20:28.200 See what's going on with gold today.
00:20:31.160 Give them a call, 844-577-7676.
00:20:34.820 Or visit protectwithposo.com.
00:20:36.880 That's 844-577-7676.
00:20:39.980 Or protectwithposo.com.
00:20:41.700 Protect your future.
00:20:42.880 Stand with me.
00:20:43.860 Fighting for America.
00:20:44.960 And by the way, they have great gifts for Christmas.
00:20:48.040 All right.
00:20:48.180 We're back on with Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dillon.
00:20:53.100 And Harmeet, I wanted to ask you, it's sort of a two-part question.
00:20:57.420 So number one, which, of course, they always tell us don't ask two-part questions.
00:21:01.580 Number one, we've seen evidence of, oh, well, we've seen reporting on this memo of the Department
00:21:06.360 of Justice putting out regarding the National Security Memo, Memo 7, that came out in the
00:21:12.500 wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination September 11th.
00:21:15.180 I believe it was signed the day after by President Trump.
00:21:18.280 Now, new memo coming out in support of that, directing the JTTFs to prioritize domestic political
00:21:27.740 extremism, domestic violence.
00:21:30.000 And we're now also seeing the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics says that while
00:21:36.280 a strong majority of young Americans reject political violence, some see it as acceptable
00:21:42.220 under certain circumstances, with 28% now of young Americans saying that political violence
00:21:49.700 is acceptable when the government violates individual rights, acceptable when it promotes
00:21:55.380 extreme beliefs, say it is acceptable when someone else encourages violence, or say it is acceptable
00:22:01.280 when peaceful protests fail to accomplish their goals.
00:22:05.580 So it seems like we're seeing this number, and I believe Gallup and YouGov have also put
00:22:10.980 out similar polls saying that we're seeing a growing pile of evidence that this is on the
00:22:19.080 upswing.
00:22:19.580 Is that related to the memo?
00:22:21.520 If you can tell us, and just in general, your thoughts on how the Civil Rights Division is
00:22:27.400 responding to all of this.
00:22:28.520 Well, the memo is, you know, a reaction to the actual terrorism that we've seen in this
00:22:34.480 country, a number of violent threats, and President Trump has been shot at and shot, and of course,
00:22:40.020 our friend Charlie's murder.
00:22:42.600 And so you see the Luigi situation and so many others, and this does not surprise me.
00:22:47.400 There are a number of reasons.
00:22:48.400 So first of all, there has been a trend of Marxism in our schools and in our colleges that has led
00:22:55.440 to this anarchy and nihilism and this belief that our fundamental principles are not important
00:23:01.860 anymore.
00:23:02.240 They don't even know about them.
00:23:03.080 If you were to ask someone, you know, what is the 13th Amendment?
00:23:06.380 What does that guarantee?
00:23:08.000 What is equal protection?
00:23:09.340 What is the First Amendment?
00:23:10.160 Like, people don't even learn anything relevant.
00:23:12.640 They're presented with maps that don't show Israel on them.
00:23:15.280 And there are a lot of other crazy things happening in our schools.
00:23:17.940 And then you have attacks on free speech.
00:23:20.380 So a few years ago, I got concerned when I saw polls that showed that
00:23:23.780 a lot of college students believe that it's OK to shout out or prevent other people from
00:23:30.020 speaking if you don't agree with them.
00:23:31.420 That's fundamentally at odds with the First Amendment, which is such an important part
00:23:35.480 of our nation's founding.
00:23:37.820 You have all of these kids who grew up in the last several years, didn't get to go to school
00:23:43.560 for years, were kept at home in isolation, played video games.
00:23:48.320 And violence is something theoretical to them, and they haven't really experienced it until
00:23:52.600 they do it.
00:23:53.480 They don't know what happens when you do it.
00:23:55.680 And they don't have any particular respect for law enforcement.
00:23:58.940 Law enforcement itself is not particularly present in many of our cities.
00:24:03.800 And people think that there are no consequences for the use of violence to impose your political
00:24:08.640 will on people who disagree with you.
00:24:11.220 They even see that, if you were to look at it a little bit in the abstract, in what happened
00:24:16.140 in the prosecution of President Trump four times, all these alternate electors.
00:24:20.660 They couldn't find this pipe bomber for five years, and yet they were somehow able to use
00:24:25.320 the exact same cell phone data and subpoenas and pings and towers to round up hundreds of
00:24:31.480 Well, and we've seen this rise of political violence.
00:24:40.900 And I think we may have a little political or, excuse me, electronic hiccup there with AAG,
00:24:47.320 Harmeet Dillon, and so we'll work to get her back up.
00:24:49.520 But what I'm reading in this, and it's, look, guys, it's no secret that we've been seeing
00:24:57.080 the rise of political violence in the United States.
00:24:59.640 I wrote an entire book about it last year.
00:25:01.980 And when you write a book on the thesis of the rise of Marxism and the fact that we are in what
00:25:08.420 I called at the time asymmetric civil warfare or an irregular Marxist revolution, an irregular
00:25:15.880 Marxist color revolution, that the question is, and look, we got so much flack for writing that book
00:25:21.960 and saying that was coming out well, was it predictive?
00:25:24.120 And unfortunately, it was.
00:25:26.360 Do we have Harmeet back, guys?
00:25:29.500 I'm here.
00:25:29.960 Harmeet, there we go.
00:25:31.120 And I'll give you the final minute to wrap up.
00:25:33.860 Not sure what happened there.
00:25:34.860 A couple of, maybe it was that corrupt data that Steve D'Antonio was working on.
00:25:39.400 Yeah, I don't know what happened.
00:25:40.600 Anyway, the big point is this trend is not surprising.
00:25:44.000 We've seen all the evidence.
00:25:45.740 We've ignored Antifa.
00:25:47.260 We've ignored a lack of respect for the First Amendment.
00:25:50.080 We've allowed this type of violence to fester in our country.
00:25:52.980 Law enforcement doesn't do enough in our cities.
00:25:56.260 Prosecutors don't prosecute it.
00:25:57.660 And this sort of lawlessness and anarchy and division, frankly, in our country is concerning.
00:26:03.940 And certainly the DOJ is going to take a look at the law enforcement side of it.
00:26:07.680 But all Americans need to work together to, I think, really agree that political violence
00:26:13.520 is never acceptable in our country, whether you're right or whether you're left, and insist
00:26:18.040 on that and enforce that norm.
00:26:19.340 And it's really as simple as that.
00:26:23.660 And, you know, we were there with Erica Kirk just last night, spent the weekend with her
00:26:30.700 in Turning Point USA.
00:26:32.620 And, you know, as I'm going through the Christmas holidays with my wife and kids, it's, you know,
00:26:39.840 something that really, really always sticks in the back of my mind, that Charlie's kids
00:26:45.080 and his wife will not be able to do that because of leftist political violence.
00:26:49.960 Harmeet Dillon, thank you so much for joining us here on Human Events Daily.
00:26:53.100 Thanks for having me, Jack.
00:26:55.500 Amen.
00:26:56.220 And congrats again on the new sweater.
00:26:58.560 Folks, we'll be right back.
00:26:59.780 Human Events Daily continues with Microsquoise.
00:27:01.960 And Jack, where's Jack?
00:27:12.560 Where's Jack?
00:27:14.680 Where is he?
00:27:15.960 Jack, I want to see you.
00:27:19.620 Great job, Jack.
00:27:21.080 Thank you.
00:27:21.820 What a job you do.
00:27:23.260 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:27:24.640 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are
00:27:29.000 the guys who'll be getting Pulisic.
00:27:31.960 All right, Jack Posobiec, we are back live, Human Events Daily here, Real America's Voice.
00:27:39.600 Very excited to have on someone that we've had on before, but before that, before we introduce
00:27:46.500 our guest, I want to tell you guys about another partner that you need to be going to this Christmas
00:27:53.200 for all your family, your friends.
00:27:55.500 You need to dig into this.
00:27:56.640 It's very important.
00:27:57.960 So not only will this be a gift that you can give them that makes a great gift,
00:28:01.460 but it'll also be a gift that's very important, because let's face it, folks, these days,
00:28:06.000 your phone is a tracking device.
00:28:07.720 Go look at all the J6 investigations.
00:28:09.520 We know this.
00:28:10.360 So government agencies, big tech, corporate data brokers, even the cyber criminals, they
00:28:14.460 are all fighting for a piece of your digital footprint.
00:28:17.260 And by the way, guys, I got to say this, all right?
00:28:19.440 I did, you know, I did a couple of shows at the Pentagon last week.
00:28:23.240 We used their studios.
00:28:24.100 I'll tell you right now.
00:28:24.980 My phone has been acting crazy ever since I got out of there, ever since.
00:28:31.220 It's all real.
00:28:32.420 Don't think for a second that it's not, because these agencies don't ask.
00:28:36.260 They just take your data.
00:28:37.700 That's why silent exists.
00:28:39.820 And I have to say, I have to say it.
00:28:41.560 Look, in order to do the show, I had to take my phone out of my silent Faraday bag.
00:28:46.440 I know.
00:28:47.120 I know.
00:28:47.740 I did, and that's why my phone is all jacked up.
00:28:51.620 So silent makes Faraday gear that blocks all wireless signals, cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
00:28:57.160 GPS, RFID, and NFC.
00:28:59.680 No signal means no tracking, no remote access, no breadcrumbs.
00:29:03.980 Same tech trusted by special operations teams worldwide.
00:29:07.700 It's used to block signals, avoid surveillance, and secure comms wherever the mission leads.
00:29:13.480 And I'll tell you, now it is available to you.
00:29:16.280 To protect your family, your freedom, and your digital footprint, drop your phone in
00:29:20.560 a silent Faraday sleeve, and it's off the grid.
00:29:23.080 Completely silent, invisible to the outside world.
00:29:25.860 From backpackers to sleeves to cross-bodies, silence patented tech gives you control of
00:29:30.760 your privacy.

00:29:43.640 Silent.com.
00:29:44.820 Slnt.com.
00:29:47.540 Silence the chaos this Christmas and all next year.
00:29:51.460 All right, folks.
00:29:51.980 I was hyping it up.
00:29:53.440 I'm going to bring him on now.
00:29:54.780 This is huge.
00:29:55.720 Big announcement.
00:29:56.880 I believe this is the first televised interview where you've heard this announcement, so we
00:30:01.440 really appreciate being able to get that exclusive that's big in the business here for Human Events
00:30:06.420 Daily.
00:30:07.100 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the program, Senator Colton Moore, state senator out of the
00:30:11.900 great state of Georgia.
00:30:13.180 Colton, how are you?
00:30:13.800 Jack, we're back, and we're back bigger and better than ever.
00:30:17.740 We are running for Congress in Georgia's 14th congressional district.
00:30:21.900 MTG, she's left the seat vacant.
00:30:24.120 That's going to make a vacuum in Washington, D.C.
00:30:26.960 And we've taken the fight in Georgia like no one else has.
00:30:31.040 We're 100% pro-Trump.
00:30:32.860 Remember, we were the very first to call for a special session to review the fraud in the
00:30:37.300 2020 election.
00:30:38.300 We were the first to go after Fonnie Willis to defund and investigate her.
00:30:43.020 Our fight was so hard there that the Rhinos even kicked us out of the Republican caucus.
00:30:49.200 We've been fighting to lower costs and lower taxes, and we want to bring that fight to Washington, D.C.
00:30:54.200 Well, not only did they kick you out of the caucus, they physically tried to kick you out.
00:31:01.420 And I believe that was we're coming up on about the one year anniversary of that, right?
00:31:05.640 We are.
00:31:06.300 President Trump and I have a mugshot from the exact same camera at the Fulton County Jail, both of us, for defending freedom of speech.
00:31:14.080 Oh, my goodness.
00:31:16.740 And look, I'll never forget the scenes that day and, you know, when that when that played out and it was just it was just unbelievable.
00:31:24.540 So when now this is the MTG seat that we're talking about now, I understand that that's coming up.
00:31:31.620 So can you explain for the audience, will this be a special election or is this going to be later on at the end of the term for a regular 26, 20, 26 election?
00:31:41.720 How are the mechanics of this looking?
00:31:43.080 So ultimately, there's could be three elections between now and May 19th, because it's like you said, it's going to be a special election.
00:31:51.060 Now, we won't know when those election dates are until Rhino Governor Kemp announces when they are.
00:31:57.400 But they could be as early as February 15th and they could be as late as March 15th.
00:32:02.400 So it's going to be a short run election.
00:32:04.980 That's why we're hitting the ground early today with our announcement.
00:32:08.300 And so that so that hasn't yet that is yet to be set.
00:32:13.200 And I remember this was now folks will remember that when we talked about this recently, there was a case where it looked like it ended up not happening.
00:32:21.400 But at least Stefanik was about to step down.
00:32:24.540 She was about to enter the Trump administration for a huge variety of issues that ended up not happening.
00:32:29.900 But it looked like there was going to be now that's up in New York State.
00:32:33.140 So Kathy Hochul was about to call a special election out there as well.
00:32:37.540 So you're waiting for Governor Kemp to be able to set that schedule.
00:32:40.700 Is that right?
00:32:41.220 Yeah, that's right.
00:32:42.900 But that doesn't stop us from from raising money and getting the campaign underway.
00:32:48.220 Like we announced this morning, we're running headstrong into this race.
00:32:52.580 One hundred percent of my state Senate district is within Marjorie Taylor Greene's congressional district.
00:32:58.380 So that gives us an upper hand right off the bat.
00:33:01.720 You know, it's the same kind of folks, though, from across the district, the people that I represent in the most extreme part of northwest Georgia, the same kind of folks all throughout the district.
00:33:10.800 You know, these are the most conservative people in the entire United States.
00:33:15.140 And we demand that we have a conservative leader in Washington.
00:33:20.080 Now, of course, President Trump played a huge role in, I would say, bringing about this current situation for a variety of reasons.
00:33:30.220 President Trump, of course, well loved in the district.
00:33:34.140 Do you know or have you had any conversations with President Trump or his political team as pertains to this race?
00:33:41.820 Yeah. So, Jack, last week we went to the White House and met with his team there, spoke for about 45 minutes.
00:33:50.320 You know, we gave him the full timeline, everything that we've done for President Trump from when I first got elected to the State House of Representatives.
00:33:56.720 I mean, obviously, they were very impressed.
00:33:59.740 What I took away from that meeting is ultimately I don't think that they're going to endorse against us.
00:34:05.820 They'll likely remain neutral in that fact.
00:34:08.100 But we're obviously asking for President Trump's endorsement.
00:34:10.980 Nobody has been a harder fighter for President Trump in Georgia.
00:34:13.980 I mean, in colloquy, state senators even call me Trump's floor leader in the Georgia Senate, right, for going after Fonnie Willis the way we did and making sure that President Trump's agenda is reflected at the state level, just as it is at the national level.
00:34:29.660 Remember, I was the one who went into the Atlanta airport and James O'Keefe style busted up in there and what Joe Biden had set up like a construction area and exposed the illegal immigrants that were going through Atlanta.
00:34:42.620 They could either walk out onto the streets of Atlanta or, you know, these NGOs were purchasing tickets and flying them all across the country.
00:34:50.700 You know, Jack, I'm not afraid of the devil.
00:34:53.080 Like you, I've got the gospel on my side and we're going to do whatever it takes to defend freedom to make sure the next generation gets to experience what we've been blessed with.
00:35:02.520 And in fact, by the way, I believe the guys have up that video of of last year when you showed the entire world just how willing you were to fight for the freedom of the people.
00:35:16.300 For folks who don't know, can you just give us sort of the elevator version of what went down?
00:35:19.620 Yeah, so the Speaker of the House, anti-Trump, John Burns, basically we were having the state of the state address where the governor comes in and gives his remarks on the state of the state.
00:35:32.740 He said Senator Colton Moore is not allowed on the House floor.
00:35:37.160 Well, constitutionally, you know, we're having a joint session.
00:35:41.020 I have a constitutional obligation to be there.
00:35:44.200 And that guy who you see throwing me down, that's the Speaker of the House's attorney.
00:35:49.780 So we do a little bit more investigation.
00:35:51.680 Turns out his name is Keith Williams.
00:35:54.140 He's not even past the bar in Georgia, and he's called the general counsel of the Speaker of the House.
00:36:00.180 So he's practicing law without a license, and then it's just straight up mafioso.
00:36:04.840 Let's throw down the senator before we go in there.
00:36:06.840 He had 18 state troopers lined up to take me down.
00:36:10.420 But let me tell you what, Jack, I don't stop for the Constitution, right?
00:36:15.140 I'm going to continue fighting no matter what it takes.
00:36:17.880 And what it did is it exposed how tyrannical these people are willing to be in order to stop freedom.
00:36:25.600 I couldn't agree more.
00:36:28.240 And the way that people need to understand this is that the situation is actually quite dire.
00:36:35.260 We just had, right before you're on, we just had Assistant Attorney General Harmey Dillon on,
00:36:40.480 and she told us that the United States federal government has not even had a Second Amendment division over at the DOJ in its entire history.
00:36:50.260 In its entire history.
00:36:51.980 So for all these years that we've been facing the loss of our Second Amendment rights,
00:36:56.160 of our God-given rights to self-defense of ourself and our freedoms,
00:36:59.420 we didn't even have a division at the federal government that was looking into this.
00:37:04.620 That's how unbelievable this is.
00:37:07.180 Yeah, no doubt.
00:37:08.240 I mean, these freedoms are slipping away, and we never get them back, Jack.
00:37:12.400 So if we don't defend now, then the next generation,
00:37:16.280 they're not even going to know what these freedoms were to defend them.
00:37:20.140 You know, tyranny is only one generation away, and there's no stopping.
00:37:25.060 We've got to keep fighting.
00:37:27.420 We certainly do.
00:37:28.680 We've got a quick break coming up, but I'd like to hold you over,
00:37:31.560 because I do want to talk about some of the issues in the race itself,
00:37:36.200 talk about what the people of the district are talking about,
00:37:39.680 talk about what your plans are.
00:37:41.160 So stay tuned.
00:37:41.800 We'll be right back.
00:37:42.720 State Senator Colton Morris just announced here on Human Events Daily
00:37:46.060 that he will be running for the MTG seat there in the great state of Georgia.
00:37:52.760 Right back, Human Events Daily, Jack Osoby.
00:38:04.880 Jack is a great guy.
00:38:06.480 He's written a fantastic book.
00:38:08.160 Everybody's talking about it.
00:38:09.400 Go get it.
00:38:09.960 And he's been, my friend, right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:38:14.480 And we're going to turn it around and make our country quite a good day.
00:38:17.680 Amen.
00:38:21.400 All right, Jack Osoby.
00:38:22.920 We are back here.
00:38:24.720 Human Events Daily.
00:38:25.600 We're on with Senator Colton Morris,
00:38:27.820 state senator out of Georgia,
00:38:29.080 who just announced moments ago
00:38:30.900 that he is going to be running for the United States Congress
00:38:34.460 in the district where MTG is now leaving a vacant seat.
00:38:40.280 Senator Moore, I wanted to ask you,
00:38:41.980 when you're there in the district,
00:38:43.900 which you already represent largely in the state senate side,
00:38:48.520 what are some of the top issues you're hearing?
00:38:50.460 Because we certainly know that, you know,
00:38:52.880 in Washington, D.C., we keep hearing about war in Ukraine,
00:38:55.640 more war in the Middle East.
00:38:57.300 Is that something that you think that the people of your district want,
00:39:00.840 or are they more focused on the kitchen table issues,
00:39:05.060 the affordability crisis, cost of living, and Bidenflation
00:39:08.320 that seems to be still, unfortunately, stuck in parts of our system?
00:39:13.160 Jack, it sounds like you could run for Congress in this district.
00:39:15.540 You hit all the nails on the head.
00:39:16.920 Well, I love what I do, man.
00:39:19.360 I love what I do.
00:39:20.960 No, you're exactly right.
00:39:22.180 I mean, first and foremost, we're broke.
00:39:24.500 We don't have any more money.
00:39:25.660 And then we see all of this money going overseas to Ukraine and elsewhere.
00:39:29.740 And it's so disheartening, right?
00:39:32.800 I mean, one of the crazy numbers to put in perspective for your audience
00:39:36.620 on how much money we've given to Ukraine,
00:39:38.820 if you just divide that by 50, all 50 states,
00:39:41.920 and you give Georgia that 50%, one of 50th percentage,
00:39:46.140 we have 159 counties in Georgia,
00:39:48.720 more than any other state besides Texas.
00:39:50.840 So my little home county, we have about 15,000 people,
00:39:54.540 and it would generate nearly $15 million in federal funds
00:39:59.440 we would have for my little home county
00:40:01.320 if we hadn't given that money to Ukraine.
00:40:04.080 So when you put that into perspective, we're absolutely broke.
00:40:07.360 We have to do things that lower the cost for everyday consumers.
00:40:11.700 One of the things that I plan on championing, Jack,
00:40:13.760 is bringing in group health care purchases.
00:40:16.880 So let Costco, let Amazon.
00:40:19.580 You know, this is something that President Trump has talked about for a while.
00:40:22.440 And even, you know, the other side of the Republican spectrum,
00:40:25.340 even Rand Paul has talked about this.
00:40:27.820 You know, why is one person having to go to UnitedHealthcare
00:40:30.620 and negotiate a rate when there could be a big group,
00:40:33.700 you know, Amazon or Costco, or even, say, the Realtors Association?
00:40:37.520 You know, they could put together a big group and buy health insurance.
00:40:40.540 And all that would be is just one little quick change to the law.
00:40:43.540 It wouldn't cost taxpayers any more,
00:40:45.360 and it would bring in the free enterprise system
00:40:47.600 when it comes to health care costs.
00:40:49.280 You know, illegal immigration is another big issue for Northwest Georgia.
00:40:54.000 You know, my little home county,
00:40:55.120 we're just talking about here in Dade County,
00:40:57.280 when all of those buses were leaving Texas
00:40:59.860 and going to Martha's Vineyard and elsewhere,
00:41:02.580 they had to pass right through my home county.
00:41:04.920 And they were driving through.
00:41:06.300 It's a very beautiful place.
00:41:08.140 Many of those buses were letting people go out into the streets.
00:41:11.620 I mean, we had homeless people from all parts of the world
00:41:15.300 walking around our little community.
00:41:17.780 So that has to absolutely stop.
00:41:20.320 It's a security dilemma.
00:41:22.600 I'm going to pay backing Trump's efforts 100% to stop illegal immigration.
00:41:27.640 He's already done a great job, but we obviously have a long way to go.
00:41:31.080 Remember, Atlanta is the world's busiest airport.
00:41:33.680 When I busted up in there and showed what they were doing with the NGOs,
00:41:37.960 you know, thousands of illegal immigrants were coming through that airport.
00:41:41.420 And what's crazy, you talk to the custodians
00:41:43.460 and the people who were paid the least at that airport,
00:41:45.820 they're the ones who are most concerned about this
00:41:48.260 because they're like,
00:41:48.920 these illegal immigrants will work cheaper than we will.
00:41:51.420 And that'll leave us homeless.
00:41:53.060 It'll put us without a job.
00:41:54.700 So that's where we are here in Northwest Georgia.
00:41:58.820 Now, speaking of Georgia,
00:42:00.620 this may be more of a state question,
00:42:02.380 but you are a state senator,
00:42:03.580 so I can certainly ask this.
00:42:05.200 Have we seen we've seen the president send in the National Guard
00:42:09.300 to places like Memphis where things where they have almost unilaterally
00:42:15.080 reduced homicide rate, violent crime rate overnight.
00:42:18.840 Do you think that there are discussions or would you support discussions
00:42:23.260 for Governor Kemp to work with President Trump
00:42:26.580 to bring a similar force to Atlanta?
00:42:29.080 Absolutely.
00:42:29.660 One hundred percent.
00:42:30.420 But I don't think Kemp is in the mood to do that.
00:42:35.140 I mean, think about this.
00:42:36.420 We just had the largest ice raid in American history
00:42:39.820 right here in Georgia at the Hyundai plant, right?
00:42:43.000 This is a plant that-
00:42:44.640 That's right, yes.
00:42:45.400 Taxpayer money.
00:42:46.480 It was subsidized with taxpayer money.
00:42:48.540 I voted against that.
00:42:49.800 Didn't want to, didn't think it was the proper role of government.
00:42:51.840 But this subsidized place that was supposed to be bringing jobs to Georgia citizens
00:42:57.240 was actually giving jobs to illegal immigrants.
00:42:59.800 And how embarrassing to have the largest ice raid in American history
00:43:03.440 in a conservative red state like Georgia.
00:43:08.140 Well, and you see all this.
00:43:10.120 The National Guard would play a huge role,
00:43:13.620 not only in the reduction of crime, but yes, you're right.
00:43:15.600 Also being able to augment those ice raids,
00:43:18.480 because we've seen this throughout the South in these cases
00:43:21.280 where people come in from overseas,
00:43:23.720 they'll say, we've got a plant, we want to bring in the workers,
00:43:26.420 but then they don't file the paperwork, they don't follow it.
00:43:29.120 And then you end up having these illegals coming in.
00:43:31.680 And ultimately, at the end of the day,
00:43:34.540 this is not going to stop until there are some CEOs
00:43:37.480 that feel a little bit of this legal pressure as well,
00:43:40.720 because ultimately we know that they are the ones driving it.
00:43:44.860 Yeah, absolutely.
00:43:45.660 And it's leaving chaos in the streets.
00:43:47.460 I mean, I have to go down to Atlanta and live there
00:43:49.820 the first part of the year being a state senator.
00:43:52.200 I've literally pulled up to red lights before, Jack,
00:43:55.020 and there'll be two cars that have crashed into one another
00:43:57.680 and both drivers have left the scene.
00:44:00.700 One can only assume, why did they leave the scene?
00:44:02.860 Well, they're either violent criminals
00:44:04.500 and they didn't want to get caught by the cops
00:44:06.000 or they're illegal immigrants
00:44:07.380 and they didn't want to get caught by the cops.
00:44:09.060 But they just left their two vehicles,
00:44:11.020 crashed in the middle of the street,
00:44:13.020 and people are trying to figure out a way
00:44:14.340 to get around the wreckage.
00:44:15.320 It's absolutely ridiculous.
00:44:17.460 No, it's horrific.
00:44:20.740 And Atlanta is a city that should be one of the greatest cities,
00:44:24.700 certainly one of the greatest cities in the South.
00:44:27.640 And yet we seem to play this game
00:44:29.800 where crime is just allowed to be rampant in these areas.
00:44:34.100 And look, President Trump,
00:44:35.460 if you look at the results that he has received in Memphis,
00:44:39.780 and that nobody's talking about this,
00:44:41.740 I need to do a better job of talking about it myself.
00:44:44.180 But the fact of the matter is that we know how to deal with crime.
00:44:48.340 This is not a new problem.
00:44:50.220 Violence is not a new problem in America or in the world or in any place.
00:44:54.740 Yet we act like it is because we listen to all these woke progressives
00:44:58.120 and all their new criminal justice studies.
00:45:01.240 We have to look at the root cause.
00:45:02.800 No, we don't.
00:45:03.940 No, we don't.
00:45:04.700 You can provide for law and order the old-fashioned way,
00:45:08.220 and you know something?
00:45:09.440 It just works.
00:45:10.880 And Memphis is a prime example of that.
00:45:13.900 And that really is the issue, isn't it?
00:45:15.520 Because do you think that there are Republicans
00:45:19.140 that are just too worried about being called names by the media
00:45:22.660 to actually support policies that crack down on crime?
00:45:27.520 You know, I think that's part of it.
00:45:28.680 But also, I believe there's this new right that's come about.
00:45:31.720 And they've completely forgotten what the principles of the Republican Party are.
00:45:37.820 You know, they'd rather spend all their time subsidizing a corporation
00:45:41.340 and do things that are not the proper role of government.
00:45:43.880 And they've forgotten what the proper role is.
00:45:46.060 And that is protecting the people, protecting public safety, right?
00:45:49.360 Building infrastructure so we have the opportunity to actually go out
00:45:53.100 and build some businesses.
00:45:54.080 But you can't build a business when you're having to worry about getting
00:45:56.960 all of your stuff stolen and you don't have any roads to transport
00:46:00.080 and make commerce.
00:46:01.720 No, and it's really simple.
00:46:05.680 It's really simple.
00:46:07.040 People, and we want commerce to play by the rules.
00:46:09.360 We want commerce to play for Americans.
00:46:11.420 And let me ask you that as well, since you are running for Congress,
00:46:14.000 this question about expanding illegal, or excuse me,
00:46:18.100 expanding legal immigration, the H-1B visas, the H-2B visas.
00:46:23.780 Where do you stand on that?
00:46:25.820 No, absolutely not.
00:46:27.240 Let me tell you what.
00:46:28.440 One of my good friends graduated high school with,
00:46:31.520 he literally spent every dollar he had, worked his tail off, pressure washing houses,
00:46:35.900 so he could be an engineer.
00:46:37.980 And he goes to the local plant and he says, look, I'm a mechanical engineer.
00:46:41.780 I've got everything I need to work for this plant.
00:46:43.980 And they said, well, that's fine, but you'll have to be our assistant engineer
00:46:47.220 because we have an individual here from India who is our current head engineer.
00:46:51.500 Now, probably six, seven months into this, they needed to apply for a new visa.
00:46:58.340 And they went through the process and they said, no one else has applied to be the engineer at our company.
00:47:03.960 And he's showing all of his application.
00:47:05.820 He says, I'm applying.
00:47:06.920 I live here locally.
00:47:08.020 I'm an American.
00:47:08.880 I want this position.
00:47:09.920 And anyway, they completely screwed him over.
00:47:13.980 They ended up granting the visa to this guy who wasn't an American citizen.
00:47:19.360 And here we go, my friend.
00:47:21.120 We're almost out of time.
00:47:23.020 There's so many stories like that.
00:47:24.940 Yes or no, would you ban the program?
00:47:27.660 Yes, 100%.
00:47:28.920 Incredible.
00:47:30.260 Where do people go to get more info on you and on the campaign?
00:47:33.740 So you can go to coltonmoore.com to find out more information.
00:47:37.220 And listen, this is a short-run campaign, Jack.
00:47:39.360 So we need all the funds we can get.
00:47:41.680 coltonmoore.com slash donate.
00:47:43.760 Help get us started and get us to Washington to bring the fight there.
00:47:47.900 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay it short.
