00:00:00.000 Hey guys, it's Jack. I wanted to let you know that we're starting a new push for subscriptions here on Human Events Daily.
00:00:09.340 So make sure that when you're listening to this podcast, you hit subscribe, you download it, and you share it with five of your friends.
00:00:16.720 Make sure they're all going and downloading as well, because we need to get the signal out as much as possible.
00:00:22.440 Look, we've done so much over the past couple of years since this show started, and we're only going to do so much more.
00:00:29.360 Let's get it.
00:00:59.360 The president told an Italian newspaper that the pontiff, quote, doesn't understand and shouldn't be talking about war because he has no idea what's happening.
00:01:07.320 We certainly have a good relationship with the Vatican, but we're also going to disagree on substantive questions from time to time.
00:01:13.260 I think that's a totally reasonable thing.
00:01:14.820 I certainly think that in some cases, it would be best for the Vatican to stick to matters of
00:01:22.060 morality, to stick to matters of what's going on in the Catholic Church, and let the President
00:01:28.020 of the United States stick to dictating American public policy. One suspect is dead. A child is
00:01:33.120 recovering after a very scary incident at a Walmart in Nebraska, where police say somebody
00:01:37.720 tried to kidnap a toddler at knife point. Investigators are still trying to piece together
00:01:41.300 what happened here, but they say officers approached the suspect outside the store.
00:01:44.960 She had a knife. They said, drop the knife. And that is when they say she slashed
00:01:48.280 this three-year-old across the face. At least one officer then opened fire.
00:01:52.280 Fortunately, that little boy, that three-year-old is expected to be okay.
00:01:55.440 Tonight, that high stakes U.S. naval blockade of all Iranian ports is holding.
00:02:00.480 U.S. Central Command saying no ships got past the blockade in the first 24 hours
00:02:05.040 and six merchant vessels were turned round. The U.S. hoping to choke Iran's oil income
00:02:10.100 to force concessions in peace talks.
00:02:12.500 And tonight, President Trump signaling a second round of negotiations
00:02:15.820 could be happening soon, along with a deal.
00:02:18.860 The president telling our John Carl, quote,
00:02:21.100 I think you're going to be watching an amazing two days ahead.
00:02:23.960 President Trump, a new interview, says the war in Iran is close to over.
00:02:27.520 His comments come hours after big games on Wall Street,
00:02:30.540 which is apparently expecting a peace deal soon.
00:02:33.120 I think it's close to over, yeah.
00:02:35.100 I mean, I view it as very close to over.
00:02:37.340 You know what?
00:02:37.780 if I pulled up stakes right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild that country.
00:02:44.720 And we're not finished. I think the people we're sitting across from wanted to make a deal. And I
00:02:49.140 know the president of the United States told us to go out there and negotiating good faith.
00:02:54.380 That's what we did. That's what we're going to keep on doing.
00:02:58.540 Well, welcome to Human Events Daily. It is Wednesday, April 15th, aka Tax Day. I'm Bo
00:03:04.020 Davidson, filling in temporarily for the great Jack Posobiec, who was just in a press conference
00:03:08.300 with Caroline Leavitt that we just saw in the past hour. He's making his way to a studio now,
00:03:12.780 so just for the next few minutes or so, I will be manning the ship, so to speak,
00:03:16.880 as we go ahead and kick off Human Events Daily. You did just see this great presser by Caroline
00:03:21.360 Leavitt, where she was joined by Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and SBA Administrator
00:03:26.060 Kelly Loeffler to talk about tax policy and the Trump administration's agenda. It was a great
00:03:31.120 presser. We'll be getting to that later on the show. Jack Posobiec did have some questions for
00:03:35.100 them, which we will take. But right now, we want to turn our focus to Ireland, where Kevin Posobiec
00:03:40.200 is in Dublin at the moment. Kevin, you got me? Can you hear me? Yes, I can, Beau. Thanks for
00:03:46.720 having us. And I'm here with Nick Alahantid. We're up for the Migrant Center here. It's a
00:03:52.400 protest over. How are you? Doing great, Kevin. Doing great. Well, you know, I know that you're
00:03:57.920 in Ireland, not for the great Guinness beer, which may not be in short supply, but rather the
00:04:01.600 gas. There have been a number of protests that have been happening over there. Can you tell us
00:04:06.360 just the lay of the land? I know you have a gentleman with you. I don't want to bury the
00:04:09.280 lead here, but go ahead and take it away. Absolutely. So yeah, it's coming off the
00:04:13.860 heels of a no confidence vote yesterday. We thought we were going to get that passed. And
00:04:18.760 so what that means is these protests have ended for the time being. The farmers just kind of had
00:04:26.180 to go back to work, honestly, but they're regrouping, they're reorganizing, potentially
00:04:30.400 for this weekend, and I can confirm that here, that there will be something happening this
00:04:36.320 weekend, but, you know, they're pretty discouraged right now, I mean, up north in Belfast, they
00:04:41.280 got people fined for just parking there, you know, peaceful protests, and Beau, unfortunately,
00:04:47.840 like, down south, but even in the midlands, in the rural lands, he had a guy even, unfortunately,
00:04:54.200 commit suicide because he had to close his farm down so this is like serious stuff and they're
00:04:58.600 saying it's a blockade they had to bring the army in to shut it down so it's kind of discouraging
00:05:04.200 right now and um you know where's all this funding going anyway it's going to migrants here and this
00:05:10.680 this local patriot's an expert at it too but so um so that's what we're that's what we're focusing on
00:05:16.440 here well kevin i want to ask you um as i was doing a little bit of research about this particular
00:05:21.640 situation, it seemed like a lot of the farmers are demanding tax relief because about 60% of gas
00:05:28.180 costs are from taxes. Now, that's exceptionally high, so I can understand why anybody would want
00:05:32.680 to protest that. Based on that and the fact the government wasn't giving them the tax relief,
00:05:38.100 what is the farmers' overall goal? What do they hope to achieve with this government based on
00:05:43.020 what's happening or what's been happening over the past week?
00:05:44.980 sure well maybe i could toss that here yeah the taxes and then what they want
00:05:51.240 at the moment it's been categorized as a fuel protest but it's really not it's a tax protest
00:05:56.720 and fuel is just a culmination of it this week in another time it'll be a teacher strike or a
00:06:02.620 nurse's strike we are just being killed by taxes here now you guys know nothing about the level of
00:06:08.560 taxation we have compared to the states you know income tax is 52 percent we have a thing called
00:06:13.640 VAT, which is revenue tax. Who does, you know, might call that a sales tax. That's 23%.
00:06:18.880 And with all these social taxes, where all this taxes has been going, the biggest burden on the
00:06:24.200 Irish taxpayer. We'll have to leave it right there because we do have a hard break. We do want to
00:06:28.040 bring you back, Kevin, so just sit tight. I want to go to break and we'll be right back with more
00:06:31.160 Human Events Daily. Stand in our way and our golden age has just begun. This is Human Events
00:06:36.260 with Jack Posobin. Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.
00:06:41.800 Welcome to the second American Revolution.
00:07:11.800 frustrating taxes that apparently the Irish do. So if you would go ahead and hand the mic back
00:07:16.420 over and let's hear more of what he had to say, because unfortunately, we got cut off. Let's
00:07:19.320 expound. Absolutely. Here you go. Nick De La Hunter. Yeah. So this is the carbon tax that's
00:07:25.020 on this fuel. So this is basically a woke tax to fund this green ideology, green agenda. And,
00:07:30.900 you know, this is the world has changed. We've moved on from green ideology. So about, you know,
00:07:35.860 20 cents or 15 cents of every liter of gas or diesel goes to carbon taxes and as well as carbon
00:07:43.200 tax we have excise tax and it all means that 65 percent of all costs on fuel in ireland go to
00:07:50.900 taxes before this emergency um and it's gotten too much right and both so what the farmers want
00:07:59.360 is they basically want their jobs back it's amazing to see the parallels between ireland
00:08:03.220 in america and so you might be wondering you know back at home what what this song is about but
00:08:08.100 there's so many similarities nick's doing great work he's exposing a lot of the fraud with the
00:08:13.760 taxes and the migrant taxes the asylum taxes all these green book taxes he's like the irish nick
00:08:19.620 shirley this guy but um really though it's uh the comparison has been made you know you've got the
00:08:25.000 it's a smiley frog we have something similar here behind me was supposed to be a set of 500 houses
00:08:30.480 we're in housing crisis and they've turned it into a migrant hotel and it's owned by a billionaire
00:08:36.480 and it's like what why are we doing this why can't we build houses right and not incentivizing in
00:08:42.800 irish citizens irish farmers irish fishermen all that but instead they get taxed to build houses
00:08:49.360 for this and you're you're going into even the zoning and the funding we're seeing it in small
00:08:54.400 businesses too bro where it's the same exact thing as in california these small businesses are being
00:08:59.820 put up for refugees, you know, instead of our own citizens.
00:09:04.540 Yeah, I run a small business and I have 10 employees and it's just not worth it anymore.
00:09:10.320 You're working for nothing at the moment in Ireland.
00:09:12.420 It's nothing like the States.
00:09:13.480 I'd give you my left hand to go over to Texas and operate a business there where the taxes
00:09:18.860 are minimum.
00:09:19.680 We just don't get that opportunity.
00:09:21.860 But Nick, just real quickly, in about 30 seconds or left, it sounds like this is what President
00:09:25.860 Trump is saying when he's saying, if we don't stop what we're doing, we're going to become
00:09:29.240 like Europe.
00:09:29.820 Is that right? Whatever you do, you do not want to become like Europe. We are failing.
00:09:37.280 That's it. We'll leave it right there. Nick, thank you so much. And Kevin, thank you so much
00:09:41.400 as well for your great reporting there in Dublin. We'll keep an eye on this as the farmers keep
00:09:45.600 protesting there. 60% taxes on gas sounds terrible to me, but I think that's exactly why President
00:09:50.700 Trump is making his stand now and saying, you know, look, we've got to stop becoming like Europe.
00:09:54.660 We don't want to be anything like them. And I think Nick just spoke to that. Well, I want to
00:09:57.400 segue now to the press conference we just saw with Caroline Levitt because Jack Posobiec was in the
00:10:01.720 new media chair and he had a question for the press secretary regarding Eric Swalwell, which
00:10:06.540 he, a story he's been covering all week. Let's take a look at that clip. This past Saturday,
00:10:10.900 I published a video of former, now former representative Eric Swalwell in bed. As the
00:10:19.260 president said in Las Vegas, well, Eric Swalwell was in Las Vegas in this video. I'm told, according
00:10:23.320 geotagging. This scandal has erupted now. Accusers coming forward, many others coming forward,
00:10:29.500 as well as questions regarding his extremely close relationship with Arizona Senator Ruben
00:10:35.000 Gallego. And I want to know if the administration had any comment on the fact that Senator Gallego
00:10:40.880 seemed to be very vocal about wanting the release of the Epstein files. And yet when questions come
00:10:46.380 to his own involvement with Eric Swalwell, he doesn't seem to want to provide anything. 0.90
00:10:50.280 Yeah, look, I think the accusations and allegations against former Representative Swalwell are despicable and disgusting.
00:10:58.720 I think it's also quite plausible, as you point out, Jack, that there were many other Democrats in this town on Capitol Hill who knew about his perhaps illegal behavior, certainly his disgusting and inappropriate behavior.
00:11:12.000 And why were they silent for so long?
00:11:14.020 I think those are questions that must be raised of these sitting representatives, including Mr. Gallego.
00:11:18.560 And I hope that the journalists in this room will do their jobs and the journalists on Capitol Hill will do their jobs to ask Democrats in power how they knew about such despicable behavior from one of their elected representatives for so long, but never said or did anything about it.
00:11:32.600 So that's what we hope to see as far as the White House and the president is concerned.
00:11:36.780 So there you see the question from Jack Posobiec to Caroline Levitt.
00:11:41.080 We want to bring in our guest now, Evita Duffy.
00:11:43.480 Evita, thank you so much for joining us here on Human Events.
00:11:45.820 You know, Evita, obviously all this salacious stuff about Swalwell is just building and building.
00:11:51.600 It's getting worse and worse.
00:11:53.020 He's now resigned.
00:11:54.500 It's amazing to me that it took this long.
00:11:57.000 Is this, at its very core, is this because he was failing so badly in the California governor's race?
00:12:04.040 Or why did they turn on him?
00:12:05.320 Why now?
00:12:06.960 Yeah, well, I mean, first of all, I think that Democrats saw the writing on the wall.
00:12:10.080 In order for them to win this gubernatorial election, they have to consolidate power with one Democrat.
00:12:17.560 And having Swalwell in the race as kind of the weaker candidate was really harmful to them.
00:12:22.240 What I think is interesting about what Carolyn Levitt said in that clip is that she hopes the journalists in the room actually go and investigate this story.
00:12:30.440 Because Gallego is obviously a close friend of Swalwell.
00:12:33.860 But also there's been rumors and accusations that he may have been the second person in the room.
00:12:40.580 We don't know. There hasn't been an investigation.
00:12:42.700 The journalists aren't doing their job because, again, this is about one scalp.
00:12:47.220 This is about Eric Swalwell.
00:12:48.840 It's not about anybody else because they wanted to get him out of this gubernatorial race.
00:12:53.260 And what Americans everywhere are saying is I don't really care about Democrats' political aspirations in California
00:12:59.840 and they're hoping to need to control that state.
00:13:02.180 We just want people to be held accountable, finally, in elected office.
00:13:07.920 And I think that we're not going to see that from the Democrat establishment or the left-wing media, who, by the way, right now are congratulating themselves.
00:13:15.200 Brian Stelter, I think, had this entire monologue about how wonderful it is that he and his other pals in the corporate media are taking on this story.
00:13:23.040 Yeah, they're taking on this story at the behest of the Democratic Party because it's beneficial to Democrats in California.
00:13:32.600 This is one. That's all they're interested in, who, again, a very close friend of Swalwell and should be looked into.
00:13:38.580 Well, Evita, you know, I was reading some of the testimony of Lana Drews.
00:13:42.360 She said that she was drugged and choked and raped by him in 2018.
00:13:46.960 And what I thought was interesting is Swalwell's attorney says that these accusations are, quote, false and offensive.
00:13:51.560 Now, to me, that's a way of deflecting. I mean, what's more offensive, the allegation or the actual crime?
00:13:56.960 It turns the heat back on the victim as if she's the liar. That's what I took away from that.
00:14:03.060 Right. I mean, it's complete deflection. And it's I mean, the context here is truly despicable, right?
00:14:09.480 I mean, there are rules, laws against members of Congress having these sort of relationships with underlings, with junior staffers.
00:14:17.460 So this is completely unallowed. So if these allegations are correct, I mean, this is extremely serious. And of course, he's being dismissive about it. And again, he's also a man who is married at the time, you know, his wife was was apparently pregnant.
00:14:32.000 And so I think what all of us are thinking as the story is rolling out is we want leaders like the founding fathers, right?
00:14:43.040 These were upstanding, good Christian men.
00:14:46.000 What we're seeing come out of Washington lately and hidden by other powerful people in Washington is despicable.
00:14:53.740 How does somebody like Eric Swalwell get elected?
00:14:56.520 Not only that, how does he stay in power for as long as he did?
00:14:59.420 Why is he sitting on the Intelligence Committee when clearly he's somebody who's very easily compromised?
00:15:07.240 All of these things should make every single American, irrespective of political affiliation, take a step back and say, we really need new leadership in Washington.
00:15:18.620 Indeed we do.
00:15:19.780 Well, I know that Jack Posobiec has made his way back over to the studio now, so I certainly want to integrate him.
00:15:24.260 After all, it is Jack's show.
00:15:26.040 Jack, I thought you had an excellent question there for Carolina.
00:15:28.660 And Evita brings up a great point about whether the journalists will actually do their job in pursuing this.
00:15:34.120 I was thinking back, Jack, about the Brett Kavanaugh situation and trying to compare the two.
00:15:39.120 Now, Lana Drew's documented this event in her calendar.
00:15:41.700 She told her friends she had sexual assault therapy in Connecticut.
00:15:45.640 She didn't come forward to law enforcement out of fear, apparently because of Swalwell's connections and how powerful he was.
00:15:52.500 I think that's probably a common denominator among a lot of women, particularly in dealing with people of power.
00:15:58.320 Seems she's got the receipts, Jack.
00:15:59.960 And to me, I know you've been following the story all week, so I'd love for you to just kind of tee it off
00:16:02.960 and tell us whether you think that the journalists are actually going to do their job outside of yourself in terms of pursuing this.
00:16:10.100 Yeah, Beau, I just want to say thanks so much for helping me out and getting over the, you know,
00:16:13.640 going from the briefing to here and the logistics of all that.
00:16:17.580 And thanks to Evita, of course, for rolling with the punches on this.
00:16:21.060 But you're exactly right.
00:16:22.460 The question that we have here is we know what it looks like when the media wants to go after someone.
00:16:30.000 We know what it looks like, whether it's the takedown of Harvey Weinstein, whether it's the takedown of Jeffrey Epstein, whether it's the takedown of whoever, whoever it is.
00:16:38.040 And when they went after Kavanaugh as well, we know what it looks like.
00:16:41.000 We know what one of those pressure campaigns looks like.
00:16:43.040 But where is that kind of energy when it comes to Eric Swalwell?
00:16:46.280 And we know, and I asked Press Secretary Caroline the question just now, where's the energy for Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona, who we know is a close friend, they traveled together, they appeared shirtless on vacation together, they have text messages back and forth that they've tweeted out, and he was out all year, all last year, saying, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, release the files, release the files, release the files.
00:17:13.140 OK, those files are out. But what about your files with Swalwell? What about the Swalwell files?
00:17:19.580 Where's that same level of energy? And we just don't see it. So and I'll come back with you.
00:17:26.680 I think we have one more segment. But but, Bo, that's what this comes down to me about is who else in government knew about this, especially this network of close friends.
00:17:35.880 Yeah. And to Vita, to your point, I mean, was this just the means to the end?
00:17:39.500 You know, like you're saying, Brian Stelter and all these people are piling on saying, oh, look at what we're doing.
00:17:43.400 When in actuality, it just helps the Democrats because they didn't have an effective candidate running for governor.
00:17:47.020 Just helps them out. Right.
00:17:48.080 I mean, let's be real about this.
00:17:50.040 There is zero chance that Democratic leadership, that Nancy Pelosi, especially leadership in the state of California, didn't at least hear rumors about what was happening with Eric Swalwell.
00:18:00.820 This is completely absurd.
00:18:03.880 What did you know? When did you know it?
00:18:05.720 I think it was a long, long time ago, especially with Fang Fang.
00:18:08.880 We'll leave it right there.
00:18:09.700 Jack, I'll hand the torch over to you.
00:18:11.540 And thanks so much for being here, Evita.
00:18:13.360 I think you might have another segment with Jack.
00:18:14.800 So we'll be right back with more Human Events Daily with Jack Kosovic.
00:18:30.060 They talk about influencers.
00:18:32.020 These are influencers.
00:18:33.940 And they're friends of mine.
00:18:36.240 Jack Kosovic.
00:18:37.760 Where's Jack?
00:18:38.560 Jack, he's done a great job.
00:18:41.120 All right, Jack Pesovic, we're back live here, Human Events Daily, and we're on with Evita Duffy.
00:18:53.580 And there's so many questions.
00:18:56.300 And I was just over at the White House, came over here, and we have this situation that's ongoing with Senator Eric Swalwell.
00:19:05.100 but do we really think he was the only one and that was the question i asked
00:19:11.480 to secretary levitt and of course asked the administration as a whole and i can confirm
00:19:19.120 i said this this came up after the show last night and i said guys this is
00:19:27.020 something that's on the radar of law enforcement law enforcement is involved
00:19:33.260 All right, I can tell you that.
00:19:34.480 And we now saw on the L.A. side that that has come out.
00:19:37.680 And I'm telling you that regarding the specific situation that I've been reporting on regarding this Las Vegas bedroom is on the radar of law enforcement as we speak.
00:19:49.860 And that's all I can really say about that right now.
00:19:51.600 Evita Duffy, we're still on with you.
00:19:53.380 And, Evita, this is my big question here is it's not even about, you know, Swalwell as a person.
00:20:01.800 It's about this wider network that he seems to have been operating with, because does it does anything that Ruben Gallego say make any sense when he came out yesterday and he was saying that, oh, that he fooled me and he lived a double life like he's like Batman or something?
00:20:17.420 It's ridiculous. It doesn't pass the smell test. 0.61
00:20:20.160 No, it doesn't, Jack. And I was thinking about this story.
00:20:24.400 First of all, when you're a parent, right, you're a parent in 2026.
00:20:29.600 Unfortunately, you have to have conversations with your 16 year old son, like, hey, I know
00:20:33.860 you have a Snapchat, like, don't be sending D pics out.
00:20:36.960 And you have to send the tell that to your 16 year old son, maybe because their prefrontal
00:20:40.340 cortex isn't fully developed. 1.00
00:20:41.860 They're stupid. 1.00
00:20:42.840 They're teenagers. 1.00
00:20:44.160 We're talking about like a 40 something year old sitting member of Congress, somebody who
00:20:49.480 wanted to be the governor of California.
00:20:51.160 This is a leader in our country. And this idea, I said it was absurd that other Democrats didn't know about this or at least hadn't heard the rumors, is, I think, of course, ridiculous at its face. 0.92
00:21:04.160 But I also think that that might be on purpose. I feel that they pick individuals to run for office, to be elevated in power because they are loose cannons, because they are completely deplorable and disgusting individuals, because they're easier to control. 0.97
00:21:23.140 I mean, you saw the second that they didn't want Eric Swalwell in this governor's race, everybody comes out and is taking this man down.
00:21:30.820 And I think that there that is a reflection of this idea, Jack, that you were talking about, where there's probably a lot of other ones like it.
00:21:36.880 And you know what? They all have to go.
00:21:38.840 I don't care if you have compromising individual information about this person and they vote really well on the Democrat or Republican side. 0.98
00:21:46.060 We can't have leaders in our country who are disgusting, compromisable human beings.
00:21:51.340 First of all, it's a national security threat, but second of all, it's not who we are. 0.93
00:21:55.380 As a country, we deserve better.
00:21:59.840 There's so many things to unpack about what you just said, and we had former Congressman
00:22:03.340 Madison Cawthorn on here yesterday, and he walked us through the system of how it works.
00:22:08.820 He said, once they have you on video, they own you, and that this is a system that has
00:22:15.760 existed for many in this town, not everyone, but many, and that they ply these individuals with
00:22:25.600 this, you know, physical gratification, in other cases, chemical and using other, you know,
00:22:33.920 perhaps aphrodisiacs to be able to have them in their power and whatever the special interests
00:22:40.200 are at play here. And there's so many questions about, and people keep asking me as well,
00:22:45.760 People keep asking me as well, who is the other individual in the tape?
00:22:51.020 And I have not been able to get that information from, I'll say, the place where I obtained
00:22:57.660 the initial video.
00:22:59.300 I have requested that information.
00:23:00.800 I have requested information about ... I have requested the full video, because we can
00:23:03.880 obviously tell that this is a longer video, and we are still working on this.
00:23:09.400 also working on further leads regarding others in, I'll just say government, others in elected
00:23:17.120 office. And that's where it stands. But at the same time is, it's this conspiracy of silence,
00:23:24.120 Evita, that is really holding back so much, not just from a TV show or a podcast or something,
00:23:31.380 from the American people who deserve better. Isn't that the point?
00:23:34.460 yeah well jack this is why alt media is so important because i'm interested in who's the
00:23:40.380 other person in the video you're interested in it you're actively investigating it but to be clear
00:23:45.700 no one else in corporate media is interested in what who is the other individual in that video
00:23:52.140 at all nor i mean i think are they interested in anybody who was involved in any of eric swalwell's
00:23:57.500 various escapades that he's clearly been involved in throughout the years because again this is about
00:24:01.540 one person, this is about one scalp at the behest of the Democratic Party and their own political
00:24:06.060 goals. That's it. That's what this is about. It's not really some sort of principled stand
00:24:12.180 being taken by Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic media apparatus. That is just, it's not true.
00:24:19.940 So I think it's important for people like you and me to continue pushing for transparency,
00:24:26.700 for the truth, because the media is not going to do it. That's not what this is about.
00:24:31.540 No, and it's very unfortunate, because we do have these two sides to the situation.
00:24:37.920 You notice, even just in the press briefing that I was in there, right there, there wasn't
00:24:40.760 a single follow-up question about that situation at all.
00:24:44.420 I'm talking about a guy who's regrettably accused by multiple victims, a guy who, again,
00:24:49.980 we have him on video.
00:24:51.700 I published that video.
00:24:54.500 It's out.
00:24:55.500 It is right there.
00:24:56.500 It's verified.
00:24:57.500 You notice he hasn't even tried to deny that it's him, because you're caught.
00:25:00.600 You're caught in 4K, as the kids say.
00:25:03.500 And this guy is, I guess he didn't, by the way, get the 16-year-old Snapchat lecture.
00:25:11.440 But the ridiculous part of this is that the rest of the media, who sat in the room right
00:25:16.200 next to me, were all in the same room.
00:25:17.920 And I'm not saying they didn't have good questions about other things, but you notice
00:25:21.000 there wasn't a single follow-up.
00:25:23.120 Last minute to you, Avita Duffy.
00:25:24.600 Well, I'll just say this, Jack.
00:25:26.380 This has been the game plan for ... This has been the playbook for a long time.
00:25:30.200 Clinton was a disgusting human being. Everybody knew about it. And that was actually an advantage 1.00
00:25:34.880 for them. The Democratic establishment liked that about him because it made him easy to control.
00:25:39.600 There are lots of individuals like this in American politics. And the problem now is that
00:25:43.880 we have alternative media. We have this thing called the Internet and it's wide open and they're
00:25:47.840 not going to be able to get away with it as much as they used to, especially because the American
00:25:51.400 people are sick and tired of having people like Bill Clinton or Eric Swalwell leading us.
00:25:57.980 Simple as that. He's definitely working to follow you.
00:26:00.200 I'm Peter Jeffy underscore one. My husband's running for Congress. His website is alphonsiforwisconsin.com.
00:26:07.340 All right. Thank you so much. Jack Posobiec right back here at Human Events Daily.

00:27:04.660 don't care who you are or what you believe. They just want your money. Well, Patriot Mobile

00:28:05.280 former Congressman Eric Swalwell, Senator Ruben Gallego, this relationship that the two of them
00:28:10.600 have, the relationship, the media doesn't even seem a little bit interested in asking about,
00:28:14.880 we'll ask about it. I mean, these guys have shirtless pictures out there, but there's another
00:28:18.700 piece of the puzzle that I have been banging the table about for a month now, banging the table,
00:28:26.560 banging the table and saying over and over, you're looking at the wrong straight.
00:28:33.880 it's all about China. It's all about Xi Jinping. When I had the opportunity
00:28:41.400 on Monday, Monday afternoon of this week, standing just outside the Oval Office,
00:28:50.560 I had the opportunity to ask President Trump directly about this. I said, President Trump,
00:28:57.460 those ships that are being blockaded from Iranian ports are destined for China.
00:29:03.880 You are meeting with China on May 14th.
00:29:07.500 What is going on with China?
00:29:09.680 What is their role?
00:29:10.320 And he confirmed that Xi Jinping wants very much for this crisis to be ended.
00:29:17.040 And then we see President Trump this very morning, two days later, after I asked a question,
00:29:23.860 after I spent the month telling everyone it was all about China.
00:29:27.220 What does he post on True Social?
00:29:28.460 Of course, the Strait of Hormuz is open and that Xi Jinping is very, very happy.
00:29:40.180 It's almost like it's almost like it's all been connected all along.
00:29:45.460 Well, someone who's been helping us connect the dots here and someone who understands the big picture is Malcolm Flex.
00:29:50.580 He's been on as well. Flex, how you doing, man?
00:29:52.700 man i'm tired dog i've been picking up this phone every single time because i keep calling it and
00:29:59.780 it's just one of those situations where man if only there were somebody somebody who could it
00:30:07.180 be who geez someone to just just just walk us through who could have predicted this series of
00:30:15.160 events but but flex walk walk through it walk us through that and by the way i'm not and i'm not
00:30:20.540 discounting as well, that if you go over to Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon, what did they sign
00:30:27.160 earlier this week? Oh, that's right. A military defense treaty with Indonesia, right? Was Indonesia
00:30:34.740 going to come to America's defense? You know, I don't know. But what's that really about? That's
00:30:38.780 about Indonesia's influence over the Strait of Malacca. So you got Strait of Hormuz, Strait of
00:30:45.200 malacca and then the taiwan strait it all is inextricably connected and if you just look
00:30:50.980 at a map you can see what the president's strategy is you you can you can have your
00:30:56.640 opinion agree disagree but understand that this is a bigger game flex why is it that some people
00:31:02.680 just don't see the pieces here and they they never took a map break and that's yeah i appreciate
00:31:11.500 Yeah, I know. But, you know, in all honesty here, in all honesty here, though, let's, you know, let's sort of be real. Regional conflicts are dead. In this world, you don't have situations where the region exists by itself in an insular bubble.
00:31:29.760 Like anything that you do influences somebody else's possible partnership somewhere where they're getting things.
00:31:35.660 You know, this new rules based international order exists to preserve these waterways, these straits, the Strait of Malacca, you know, Strait of Taiwan, Strait of Hormuz, as has entered the public consciousness.
00:31:47.220 All of this is a larger piece in how countries survive.
00:31:51.260 And this is based on an order that we established.
00:31:53.180 So China naturally is coming in.
00:31:56.020 And I remember there was actually a quote from a Xi Jinping speech where he was giving where he was trying to project strength, saying that, you know, a Chinese are the people of peace.
00:32:07.500 But if you defy what we are setting up, then we will bring in, I believe it was a hammer.
00:32:14.660 It was something basically saying that, hey, don't mess with us.
00:32:18.840 We are peaceful. But at the same time, you mess with us and we're going to come for you.
00:32:22.720 Well, I wonder why interrupting Strait of Hormuz is such a big deal for Xi.
00:32:27.840 Oh, yeah, that's right.
00:32:29.020 Because, again, they have a large scale plan with Taiwan.
00:32:33.100 Now, one of the things that I think a lot of people are not understanding is that when you have a, you know,
00:32:39.300 when you have great power politics and you've got the temperature rising to an unsustainable degree.
00:32:43.860 Again, we just talked about how regional conflicts affect everybody.
00:32:46.840 Right. So you have the temperature rising to an unsustainable degree.
00:32:50.300 you force these large powers into a possible conflict that they're not ready for that they're
00:32:55.960 still still sort of prepping for and so in this situation china knows there may be a future
00:33:01.340 kinetic head with the united states i think trump knows that as well that's why the whole
00:33:05.340 mutual defense agreement was signed with um indonesia again we're shaping up for this this
00:33:12.220 massive conflict that will one day come whether it comes in our lifetimes or the lifetimes of
00:33:17.380 our children i don't know but g is planning for that but he can't have what's going on in straight
00:33:23.540 up or moves number one interrupt his timetables with preparation and number two cause him to look
00:33:29.960 like he either number one is weaker than the united states or number two that he is an agent
00:33:36.160 of chaos so that's why he's coming out trying to be this adult in the room figure but then trump
00:33:41.060 is now starting to try to work and make a deal with him because again when you get into a conflict
00:33:46.100 when you deal with great power politics it's not necessarily about who's got the biggest bombs
00:33:49.500 the best navy the best missile it's about who looks the most justified who looks the most
00:33:54.280 reasonable and that influences how allies will throw in with you so you're seeing sort of a uh
00:34:00.100 a pageant if you will you know both of these guys are on the stage strutting their stuff trying to
00:34:04.960 look the cleanest yet also the strongest the most in shape and they're just sort of this is political
00:34:10.840 peacocking basically so again we're looking at it i mean there's there's a lot of that but you're
00:34:16.560 also i mean to your point as well that's that's what it's about it's about him you know showing
00:34:21.840 that level of you know showing that level of of you know sort of you know alpha dominance uh
00:34:28.220 posturing etc peacocking to your point because what's president trump doing in just one month
00:34:34.560 time one month from today he will be in beijing china meeting with the emperor meeting with as
00:34:40.380 we call him around here, the Red Emperor Xi Jinping, and he will be meeting with Chairman
00:34:45.560 Xi in Beijing. And so all of this, right, the deal. And I've always said when when when they
00:34:51.680 say, oh, Pakistan is the mediator and we're working directly with the Pakistan, everything
00:34:55.620 with Pakistan, like I'm not I'm not discounting Pakistan, but but understand that you could just
00:35:01.720 take the word Pakistan and switch that out with China and then you would get the full picture
00:35:05.620 because that's what Pakistan really is operating from, that perspective.
00:35:10.160 They are backed by China.
00:35:12.480 They are working with China to build a massive belt and road initiative
00:35:17.200 from Iran up all the way through Pakistan, across the Hindu Kush,
00:35:23.080 then across the Himalayas into a place called, oh, what, Xinjiang.
00:35:27.400 That's why they care about the Uyghurs so much, right?
00:35:30.580 It's not about the Uyghurs.
00:35:31.500 They're cracking down on them because they need to build their belt and road
00:35:35.040 across the Uyghur land because they want the resources from the Middle East.
00:35:41.360 They need the way to be clear so that the oil can come in.
00:35:45.480 And they're doing the same thing, Vladivostok, power Siberia too,
00:35:48.940 with the Russians on the other side.
00:35:50.780 That's why they need Kim Jong-un in North Korea to have a stable regime.
00:35:54.940 That's what this is all about for them.
00:35:57.400 And so for folks walking around saying, oh, you know, it's this mix of it.
00:36:03.320 No, you have to look at the great powers and who they work through, who their proxies are.
00:36:09.620 And Flex, you get that.
00:36:11.400 Yes.
00:36:11.980 Yeah.
00:36:12.560 And, you know, furthermore, again, people, it's like we were just saying, people think
00:36:16.580 war is just about hurling metal with explosive chemicals in it.
00:36:20.620 And, you know, they think it's all about just big boom stick and big bomb go boom.
00:36:26.200 But no, war is a complicated, it's a very complicated tug of war of logistics.
00:36:32.020 And that Belt and Road Initiative essentially establishes a logistical chain with China that makes them unassailable, that essentially makes them superior.
00:36:41.680 They have access to most of the world.
00:36:44.840 And then we have to go back to what we talked about with Taiwan, which I'm sure we'll do.
00:36:48.160 We will do that.
00:36:50.560 We'll do that in the very next segment.
00:36:52.820 We're cut off by the merciless clock.
00:36:55.260 We'll be right back.
00:36:55.780 Human Events Daily, Jack Posobiec.
00:36:57.120 This is the Jack Posobiec Appreciation Hour.
00:36:59.000 I can say confidently, I believe, I think Josh Shapiro would be the vice presidential
00:37:03.380 nominee if it wasn't for Jack Posobiec.
00:37:05.080 And that is, I'll be honest.
00:37:11.800 All right, folks, Jack Posobiec back live here, Human Events Daily.
00:37:15.120 As we left things off, Malcolm Flex, we were talking about Taiwan, the Taiwan Strait.
00:37:20.440 Of course, that's what this is all about.
00:37:22.860 And we saw also recently that who just met with Xi Jinping?
00:37:27.160 Well, it was the opposition leader.
00:37:29.000 in Taiwan. The formerly nationalist party, the Kuomintang, they are meeting with Xi Jinping,
00:37:37.300 talking about peaceful reunification with the party and with the country of China and the CCP.
00:37:45.580 Now, of course, Taiwan, the republic, claim that they are the rightful government. But Flex,
00:37:50.280 it's significant that here you have a, you know, the head of, essentially the head of,
00:37:56.820 You know, you're talking about Republicans and Democrats, this is the head of one of
00:37:59.660 the major parties of the country that runs for national office.
00:38:05.980 The public opinion has shifted so far in Taiwan from 1949 to now that they can sit down with
00:38:13.160 the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party and say that they want peaceful reunification,
00:38:18.380 and that isn't a major scandal in Taiwan.
00:38:21.500 So I want people to understand that within Taiwan, it's not like there's this massive
00:38:26.740 pro-independence pro let's become our own country movement uh they exist but there's also the other
00:38:32.720 side and i would say uh you know it's it's akin to the left and the right in senses that you know
00:38:40.620 some people are sort of peace loving beatniks they just want to be left alone they just want
00:38:45.780 this mess with china to be over some people kind of live in that area and you know i've seen videos
00:38:51.060 of people training you know war gaming doing sort of resistance exercises and and urban combat
00:38:56.560 scenarios and i'm pretty sure those are the independent those are people that back the
00:39:01.260 independence movement but you got to think about like the pro-gun right in america and like the
00:39:06.120 very gun heavy folks here how many of them are there really and do they really have that big
00:39:11.760 of a sway and now we look at what's happening geopolitically where china is sort of playing the
00:39:16.900 oh we're the big dog peacemakers here and you know we're trying to just preserve the world while you
00:39:21.720 know crazy america and you know countries over there in the middle east are basically trying
00:39:26.180 disrupted. Well, now the Kuomintang can basically go and say, hey, look, we're working with China.
00:39:32.980 China's close to us. Geopolitically, this makes sense. They're also offering LNG to us to help
00:39:38.500 with our energy crisis. Maybe you guys should just sort of reevaluate the stance because we
00:39:45.120 don't want to go to war with China and China doesn't want to go to war with us. Can we really
00:39:49.920 trust the United States? All of these things are getting thrown around and China's hoping
00:39:55.040 that by being the big bigger person in the room number one they don't have to waste manpower
00:40:01.400 or rebuild their naval capabilities in an invasion that may or may not invite japan to get involved
00:40:09.640 well and flex and and you're right because about naval capabilities because
00:40:14.880 i wanted to put out this message that the united states navy is presenting within the strait right
00:40:22.400 now.
00:40:23.400 The U.S. has announced a formal blockade of Iranian ports in coastal areas.
00:40:27.900 This is illegal action.
00:40:28.900 All vessels are advised to immediately return to port if leaving and discontinued transit
00:40:33.100 to Iran if that is your next port of call.
00:40:35.100 Do not attempt to breach the blockade.
00:40:37.100 Vessels will be boarded for interdiction and seizure, transiting to or from an Iranian
00:40:40.900 port.
00:40:41.900 Turn around and prepare to be boarded.
00:40:42.900 If you do not comply with this blockade, we will use ports.
00:40:46.400 The whole of the United States Navy is ready to force compliance.
00:40:51.400 Well, there you go, Flex. That's the United States Navy saying, hey, this is legal action. We are announcing a blockade. We are enforcing sanctions. We are here and we mean absolute business. What's your response to how this has played out?
00:41:06.320 man drödinger's blockade just got resolved i suppose so uh yeah this could get very spicy
00:41:13.740 if the united states is going to utilize our naval assets to assert dominance in that area
00:41:19.580 somebody's gonna have to make a move and now i'm just wondering what does the rest of the world
00:41:25.160 read this as because you know i'm pretty sure the rest of the world just wants oil going through
00:41:31.180 you know feeling basically pouring that oil out from ron just out there but now we're presenting
00:41:37.180 a blockade of an already or supposedly already block blockaded in mind area i you know i've got
00:41:44.440 to imagine we're only just we're doing that necessarily to demine and just sort of clean up
00:41:49.360 the strait anyways but this is just sort of the united states trying to present and they might be
00:41:56.820 doing it they might be doing it very well if nobody challenges them that hey we've got the
00:42:00.600 situation under control the rest of you guys that didn't help us out well hey sorry you're not
00:42:05.640 getting in you're not getting out it's going to be in our court and so this is an interesting show
00:42:12.420 of strength and what i'm wondering is again who makes the first move who's feeling froggy right
00:42:18.660 now because man that is spicy i've gotten no it's exactly right and and and this is what we call it
00:42:28.560 It's Schrodinger's blockade because President Trump, we saw his tweet this morning, his
00:42:32.720 true social this morning, that the straits are open and China's very happy.
00:42:37.920 But then, of course, we see the U.S. Navy still enforcing the blockade with this destroyer,
00:42:42.580 the messaging that they're putting out.
00:42:44.060 And so it's really to your point.
00:42:47.480 Everybody's getting a little bit froggy.
00:42:48.920 You got to stay frosty out there, as they say, semper Gumby, because it looks increasingly
00:42:55.120 more and more as if China is going to come in and play the role of the cooler, play the role of
00:43:01.740 we are going to work through the Pakistanis with Iran on this. And Caroline Leavitt, when I was
00:43:07.200 just there in the White House, she said, would be very clear that there's the only one mediator,
00:43:11.680 and that is the Pakistanis. And it's been my contention from the start that they are working
00:43:18.800 for the Chinese as their proxy in these negotiations so they don't have to say that it was, you
00:43:28.340 know, that it was China that came in, et cetera, et cetera.
00:43:31.100 The same way that you're not, look, you're not seeing the Russians being involved in
00:43:34.660 this, but what did, you know, of course, who else did Xi Jinping just meet with?
00:43:37.940 Oh, that's right, Sergei Lavrov, because we can't forget that Russia plays a huge role
00:43:42.620 in this as well, just in the sense that, look, they don't need oil, they have plenty of it
00:43:47.000 themselves, but Iran is Russia's backyard, okay? This is directly south of them. And what we're
00:43:54.420 really talking about here is this is a conflict, if you will, of the sea powers versus the land
00:44:04.720 powers. So the sea powers, right? United States, UK, right? Those are the world's largest and most
00:44:12.120 powerful sea powers then you've got and hopefully the third would be japan but japan's you know for
00:44:17.880 reasons not quite there yet but the land powers that's russia that's china that's india and of
00:44:24.900 course iran and and so you know india and iran you know they're they're they're middle powers
00:44:30.020 wouldn't say they're they're great powers just yet and so walk me through that flex a bit about
00:44:34.760 how this is this is really sea power versus land power i mean in essence you're looking at
00:44:42.240 people have two and they've got two decks of cards again like it like we just said you've
00:44:48.140 got the land powers that's one deck and you've got sea power that's her to deck as countries
00:44:52.960 exert more and more of their sea capabilities in a naval conflict they sort of turn over reveal
00:44:59.560 their cards and from there you can kind of get a lay of the land like i said land powers are very
00:45:04.280 costly to reveal and to exert. And so if nothing more, you want to keep those as hidden, arbitrary
00:45:12.360 and make those your last resorts as possible. So countries like Russia, countries like China that
00:45:18.860 have a large known land capability, they want to preserve that as much as possible. And they want
00:45:25.100 to make sure that they can utilize their sea powers to strengthen those land capabilities.
00:45:29.900 Because again, that ends up becoming the last line of defense. First line of defense always
00:45:33.600 is going to be your naval resort but right now china is just sort of a question mark on the sea
00:45:38.860 power that i know we make we make jokes about it you know oh those chinese ships you know they're
00:45:44.140 going to sink like immediately but you know it's like there's always that little bit of ambiguity
00:45:48.660 would they really do we know and i think china is like i was trying to say before i think china is
00:45:55.400 trying to avoid us knowing that because you know that helps strategic ambiguity that helps them
00:46:01.040 by time that helps them if they do have right it is a play for time no it is it is a play for time
00:46:07.200 it's a play for time that's exactly what it's about because it's all the all of this posturing
00:46:11.640 right the peacocking the posturing is hurtling us towards the meeting want the showdown in beijing
