00:02:08.160 Now, a coon dog can dig a hole about five feet deep in three seconds. So he'll know. I mean, you can cut their claws all you want. They'll be four inches long the next day after you cut them. They're just, they're, they're unbelievable diggers.

00:02:18.620 But the, the cohort of all my dig outs is, is Smiles. So he, when he decides to dig out, he'll dig out and all the other dogs just sit behind him and bark at him. And then, I mean, he can do this in five minutes. It's not like I'm not watching him, but he's been, he can barely even walk. He limps. I have to push him up sometimes if he's been laying down too long.

So there ain't been any dig outs, you know, besides, uh, I think PD's jumped over the little fence, like I said before, but he just goes right to the other side of the fence. I open the gate and he comes right back in. It's nothing.

00:02:57.140 Right. So I, I had fed the dogs this morning and that takes me about an hour until they go to bed. And then I'd seen sweetie running around. You know, I can look out the windows and see they're safe. But, you know, when I went outside, she was against the back fence barking and there was a big hole dug. I said, man, I can't believe this dog dug a hole. He, he can't even walk. I knew who did it.

00:03:22.720 Right. The other one's never done it. So I opened the gate and walked back to my neighbor's yard and I said, you seen the dog? He said, oh yeah, they're all three over here about 10 minutes ago. And so here comes Pedro, you know, it's, it's hot now. It's a hundred degrees in the shade. I'm telling you, it's, it's smoking hot. So I'm like, dang, I can't find these dogs. So I go to all the normal, look around there is where they usually just go. And then sometimes they'll slide down this little trail to this park.

So behind, we got a couple of neighbors back there, real country settings like mine. And then behind there, you got this huge a hundred acre cow pasture with a bunch of cows in it.

00:04:12.100 But beyond that is a swamp that you couldn't even walk in if you tried. I mean, a dog can get through it. And then beyond that's this huge quarry, you know, sand quarry where they, you know, do fill dirt and sand and put sand in where they get sand.

00:04:27.740 Right. And I've never even been back in there. I mean, it's a mile and a half, two miles through the woods. So I never see it or anything. And I never even hear the equipment, nothing. It's just like it don't exist.

00:04:38.100 But after about an hour, I'd run out of places to look and I was kind of panicking and the gates usually close to that quarry because I guess they do their little business in there.

00:04:46.880 And, um, sometimes they open it up for the trucks to come in and out. Sometimes they don't, but it was open and I'm way down this dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

00:04:56.200 Now it was swamp on one side and the quarry on the other. And, and I said, Hey, you, the truck's coming out. This is all just luck that smiles didn't get killed today.

00:05:06.360 And he's like, um, yeah, he said, what man, I saw him running around by the quarry. He said, wait a minute. And so he, there's a guy on a big, um, working a big track hole there and he calls him on the radio.

00:05:21.620 And I've never even seen the quarry. And I walked up on that quarry. I mean, that picture don't do it justice. It's like the Grand Canyon, the Grand Canyon of Florida.

00:05:34.260 And so I look, he said, there they are down there. I said, where? And I looked down there and as far as I could see on the other side, I mean, I could barely see them two little specks over there.
