00:00:00.000 We'll be right back.
00:00:30.000 Good afternoon and welcome to In the Litter Box.
00:00:56.500 It is Monday, October 12th.
00:00:58.880 It is Columbus Day, and we have got a lot of ground to cover.
00:01:02.760 I am going to just pause real quick and let you know that I'm trying to get Cat Turd in here.
00:01:09.480 And for some reason, he is not able to connect.
00:01:12.700 So we're working on it, just so you know.
00:01:15.620 And Cat, I just sent you, if you're listening, your invite in X.
00:01:22.320 So you should be able to go over to our chat over there and check it out.
00:01:26.460 So I just sent it to X, and I'm just going to make sure it to X.
00:01:33.300 He can connect there.
00:01:35.380 Yeah, so we'll see what's going on.
00:01:37.300 I don't know what's happening.
00:01:38.300 You know, he had that storm on Friday,
00:01:40.500 and I don't know if we had some settings that got a little mixed up or what.
00:01:45.980 But again, we've got a whole bunch of things that we've got going on here.
00:01:50.460 So before the sun came up this morning,
00:01:53.040 federal agents were at the front door of a sitting member of Congress, the main airport
00:01:59.660 in Riyadh. That has been hit four times in six days. The Justice Department has opened an
00:02:08.980 antitrust file on five television networks. And the fifth one on that list is going to surprise
00:02:16.380 you so then you had the major the mayor in New York City who skipped the Columbus Day Parade
00:02:24.320 on Fifth Avenue this was two days after naming the Italian-American he wanted the city to honor
00:02:30.820 so Catherine and I have got a lot to cover and I'm waiting for him to get in here but I'll go
00:02:38.420 ahead and start while we're waiting and see if he can connect that way this is like the first time
00:02:44.660 this has ever happened and again i have sent him three invites and so i'm not quite sure
00:02:50.700 what's going on but i'm on the lookout for him so when he appears here they are there there he is
00:02:59.080 okay crisis averted hey hello i don't know what happened what happened you just weren't receiving
00:03:09.740 my my invite yeah i'm i'm not it's not coming to my um account my email that's so weird and i had
00:03:20.340 somebody send me something to make sure it wasn't down and theirs went right through so i don't know
00:03:24.500 there's a disconnect i sent it to you in x is that how you joined yeah okay well then that's why
00:03:30.180 because i know you're going to want to talk about are we on live oh yeah oh definitely
00:03:35.040 hey hey we're casual over here you know that they know what goes on up to i have no idea what's
00:03:41.400 happening that's why i was like one minute till and you always send it at least five minutes
00:03:44.200 before i was like well you still haven't sent me anything that was so weird because i have i sent
00:03:48.980 it to you i was wondering where you were i'm like okay i'm gonna send this again i'm sure he's busy
00:03:54.120 maybe he's got puppy problems i don't know but i just kept sending it hoping you didn't think
00:03:59.520 it's still not in i'm just looking at it that's so crazy i checked to see if it went through
00:04:06.080 spam or something because i'm here i'm getting all my emails just so you know everything i mean
00:04:10.660 everything the good ones the ugly ones the bad ones the ones that i will never repeat the ones
00:04:14.460 that you know i've only gotten four today i usually get about a hundred so maybe something's wrong with
00:04:18.380 my email okay that's gotta be it because i'm getting i usually get a gazillion i'm getting
00:04:24.360 the nasties too so i'm getting everything nothing ever stops on that end i mean we get the really
00:04:31.240 positive great ones but then of course you know you get the trolls and everything else i'm getting 0.97
00:04:35.260 everything so it's definitely i don't care what them fools have to say anymore it used to bother 0.97
00:04:39.740 me something don't bother me at all now i don't even care oh no i just they go straight into the 0.68
00:04:43.660 delete box so anyway i'm still alive so well good you survived the storm everything okay over there
00:04:51.720 no no trees were pulled out or anything like no but i mean there's i'm hiring some people this
00:04:57.520 week to come over to pick up the limbs because there's like a thousand limbs down there's no
00:05:00.980 way i could do it in six months okay well that's good news and then my screen front door blew off
00:05:06.560 and um my rosemary bush i got this huge fresh rosemary bush i've had for eight years it
00:05:14.120 completely uprooted and blew away oh wow that was kind of sad but yeah i got lucky because
00:05:20.380 it actually came from the original prediction which was at the in between mobile and pensacola
00:05:26.800 on the florida and alabama line uh it actually moved almost a hundred miles or something towards
00:05:36.820 me which actually helped me believe it or not because you don't want to be because this thing
00:05:42.980 had that big the big circle of weather not the eye but the big circle of weather and then it had
00:05:48.460 this gap of about 50 miles of nothing and then it had this huge secondary tail then that huge
00:05:56.060 outer bank which you don't want to be in and you've seen all the tornadoes even
00:05:59.680 24 48 hours later that's the thing you don't want to be in and it'll just keep coming and
00:06:06.940 coming and coming you'll never get out there'll be tornadoes it'll tear you apart but when they
00:06:12.520 when it moved over i was right in the big tail and so when it moved over and hit destin
00:06:17.840 And I luckily got in that gap, that little 50-mile gap of nothing.
00:06:24.380 Wow.
00:06:25.060 The wind blew, but, I mean, the wind blew hard.
00:06:28.860 I'm just glad you're okay.
00:06:30.660 I mean, really.
00:06:31.440 It's a mess.
00:06:33.180 There's a big difference.
00:06:34.820 People don't realize the difference.
00:06:35.860 They think, okay, well, it barely, you know, and I'm not downplaying it,
00:06:39.400 but it was barely a two.
00:06:40.980 It was pretty much a one when it hit.
00:06:42.520 And they're going to cause superficial damage and some trees down.
00:06:47.460 But, I mean, I've been in three fours and a five now.
00:06:52.380 When it's a five compared to a one or a two, it's not just double.
00:06:56.240 That's not what it is.
00:06:57.540 When you get sustained winds of 150 to 160 miles an hour on a five,
00:07:01.960 it's like a tornado coming, a 30-mile-wide tornado.
00:07:05.940 Everything's gone.
00:07:08.300 I mean, today's the eight-year anniversary of Hurricane Michael,
00:07:11.700 and I'm just telling you.
00:07:13.320 I mean, when you get up and your grocery store's blown away,
00:07:16.780 your gas station's blown away your doctor's office is blown away your dentist's office
00:07:20.520 your drugstore is blown away your grocery store is blown away everything within 50 miles is gone
00:07:27.080 there's nothing there's not nowhere to get gas there's nowhere to buy groceries
00:07:31.060 wow your dentist gone your doctor gone well it's just like just like the fires here right i mean
00:07:39.540 all of a sudden you go from having a city to nothing nothing at all it's just gone in a minute
00:07:45.820 It's incredible, incredible the kind of impact all of it has on your life.
00:07:51.120 I had to drive for months to Tallahassee just to get gas and groceries and stuff for months.
00:07:59.680 I mean, it's an hour and a half drive.
00:08:01.180 Well, I am just so glad that you fared that one well because, of course, you weren't here on Friday.
00:08:07.100 So everybody here was expressing how they had prayed for you and had to ranch and all of the animals and everything.
00:08:15.140 everybody was really all of us were very concerned it should have hit me a lot harder but i just i'm
00:08:20.220 telling you there was just like a big circle and then there was this like 50 mile gap of nothing
00:08:25.380 and then the two huge tails and i just it moved so close to me i got into that gap of nothing
00:08:30.540 and just got lucky right but we deserve to be lucky here man everybody went through michael
00:08:35.360 it's so funny they they've got this and we'll get back to politics and i know everybody's
00:08:41.420 bored with this but they mexico beach everything blew down 96 of the buildings it was a town
00:08:48.260 that was wiped off the face of the mouth they had this really i used to play at this bar when it was
00:08:53.460 little it ended up being massive this big beach car called toucans and that was the center hub
00:09:00.460 for everybody in a 50 mile radius they go to this bar it used to start at a little bar back when i
00:09:05.300 used to play it back in the not early 90s and late 80s i played there for years every friday
00:09:11.100 Saturday night, but
00:09:12.120 it was just this big bar
00:09:15.020 and it was just like the center hub of Mexico
00:09:17.120 Beach. And they just
00:09:19.200 and they
00:09:21.000 kept saying they were going to build it back and they
00:09:23.120 built it back and they had construction problems
00:09:25.060 and they had money problems. It
00:09:27.000 literally was supposed to open
00:09:28.760 last week. Eight years later
00:09:30.980 they built it back.
00:09:33.060 It was supposed to open and they sold
00:09:35.080 it.
00:09:37.160 They sold it before they opened
00:09:39.040 to somebody else. Now I don't know when it's going to
00:09:40.940 like 13 million dollars oh my gosh oh boy well god that's the thing i mean so it's been eight
00:09:53.020 years and they still haven't recovered here no and they probably it'll take a long time
00:09:58.100 it really will rebuilding takes forever it and when you when you think about okay so you the
00:10:03.920 fires if you need gas you can still drive five miles and go get gas but i mean when all the
00:10:11.120 everything kind of yeah yeah the gas stations wait let me let me let me just tell you about that
00:10:17.660 when you're talking about a city as large as los angeles good luck getting gas or getting anything
00:10:25.200 getting out of here is a complete and total nightmare you can't move you are boxed you are
00:10:34.160 boxed in you can't move you become a victim of your own circumstances you can't go anywhere
00:10:43.340 or anybody lived anybody lived in mexico beach for a year it took them two years to get a gas
00:10:48.520 station back up there gosh they had to drive to callaway which is probably 100 mile round trip
00:10:56.240 or something to get gas for years oh my gosh so by the time you get there you're you run a quarter
00:11:03.320 tank out then you got to make sure you got a quarter tank in to get there and back again
00:11:06.620 wow it's crazy man but anyway well it really is i want to also i want to thank a couple of people
00:11:14.180 real fast because on friday we did had to have quite a few donations first wave starseed i want 0.78
00:11:20.220 to give her a shout out thank you so much for all of your donations also man oh dumb 52 98 she says
00:11:27.940 i second steven true this is a beautiful post thank you jules and cat turd there was steven
00:11:34.580 remy 77 47 who says hi jules best podcast on the internet so this happened on friday and i just
00:11:42.300 want to thank the mods and everybody they they just really handled every since you've been gone
00:11:46.600 just did a great job and those that helped with the show thank you pensy rob flate you all just
00:11:52.160 really came together when whenever we have to kind of flip the the the script when you're not here
00:11:58.020 it's a totally different show and everybody just kind of pulls together so i just wanted to let
00:12:02.680 everybody know how much i appreciate them supporting the show and and being here with
00:12:07.980 me on friday and saturday and then today even with some computer problems that we had getting
00:12:14.000 you on here you all are awesome thank you littermates appreciate you yeah i appreciate you
00:12:20.060 doing the show and stuff oh we just have such a cool family i didn't lose power that was wild
00:12:26.120 you had no electricity i mean you had no um lightning or thunder which is what i asked you
00:12:31.100 no lightning and thunder i was in that gap right it's just like i was basically in the eye of the
00:12:36.900 storm but you know except the wind blew the rim you know we were getting 60 70 miles of our gusts
00:12:42.220 but anyway geez well anyway they raided omar's house talking about a storm let's talk about the 0.98
00:12:50.900 storm yes and all these hypocrites coming out i can't believe he's weaponizing this is a fascist 0.96
00:12:58.100 oh you want me to show you the mug shots of the thousand arrests you're arresting for on fake 0.99
00:13:03.520 charges not real charges you really didn't marry your brother wow i'm talking about fake charges
00:13:08.440 trying to put trump how about the mar-a-lago raid where they put all them top secret boxes
00:13:13.560 they brought in that wasn't even from there and took a picture of it incredible and had orders to
00:13:19.380 kill just unreal the way this whole thing has worked so had lethal force orders yeah i mean
00:13:26.960 this was the why this is the wildest story but we knew this was brewing for a while so we're going
00:13:31.980 to start at the front door in Washington, D. Sleazy. So before the sun came up this morning,
00:13:37.740 you had Homeland Security investigators, and they executed a search warrant at the home
00:13:45.160 of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. A federal judge signed it. The Justice Department secured it,
00:13:52.880 and the Justice Department's entire public statement was in one sentence. They said,
00:13:57.560 Today, in Washington, D.C. area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice.
00:14:11.340 So that was the whole statement.
00:14:12.860 That is all that they have said.
00:14:15.820 And so here's what sits underneath that particular statement.
00:14:19.740 there has been no criminal there there has been a criminal investigation running for some time as
00:14:26.260 you all know into the national naturalization paperwork filed when she became a natural
00:14:32.480 american citizen right and this was something that has been kind of brewing but she came here
00:14:39.420 from somalia as a refugee in 1995 the paperwork at issue belonged to her late father so this has
00:14:48.780 been going on since you know 22 and so back in september you had the border czar tom homan who
00:14:57.860 he said out loud that there was an ongoing criminal investigation into her and so a lot
00:15:03.220 of people treated that as talk well apparently it wasn't talk we can see that today so we're we're
00:15:10.540 not going to say what's in the warrant we have not seen it nobody has seen it it is sealed not
00:15:14.900 one outlet in this country has seen the affidavit. So we're not going to claim that we know something
00:15:20.080 that nobody else knows. No charge has been filed. That's the other part. There have been no arrest.
00:15:27.700 Nobody has been accused of a crime in a courtroom. So we're just going to preface everything that way.
00:15:33.420 But what a search warrant does do is it means that the federal judge read a sworn affidavit
00:15:39.720 and they found probable cause.
00:15:41.660 So that is the real finding by a real judge
00:15:45.860 and it's not a conviction and it is not nothing either.
00:15:50.080 So her response, she called it an attempt
00:15:53.140 to target political enemies 0.99
00:15:54.860 and weaponize the federal law enforcement.
00:15:57.720 The House Democrat leadership,
00:15:59.440 they called it deeply disturbing.
00:16:02.680 And so if you look at the argument,
00:16:05.360 what it actually asks of you,
00:16:06.940 it's really interesting
00:16:07.960 because weaponized would be a prosecutor with no evidence and no judge.
00:16:13.200 This is the opposite of that.
00:16:16.460 A career investigator that took a sworn affidavit to a federal judge and a judge signed it,
00:16:23.320 that is the process actually working exactly the way it's drawn up.
00:16:28.660 And it's the same process this administration has said from day one that it intends to run by the book.
00:16:35.540 And that's exactly what they did here.
00:16:37.240 so we knew since september tom homan was the first person to told it that told us that there
00:16:43.560 was a criminal investigation president trump as you all know has alluded that there was one
00:16:48.320 well he was telling the truth and the people that call that a smear they owe him a sentence at least
00:16:55.200 but like you said the left is going completely berserk here we have 22 days to the midterms
00:17:04.520 Did you see the pictures of a bunch of them there, too?
00:17:07.640 Oh, yes.
00:17:08.500 There's like 30 agents there loading up boxes.
00:17:11.180 Tons of them.
00:17:12.320 And I don't even know if she was home.
00:17:13.700 Did they find any wine for a $5 million fake winery?
00:17:17.420 That's a good one.
00:17:18.780 I'm sure everybody's wondering.
00:17:20.440 And where all that money they claimed that they had, and then that disappeared, too.
00:17:25.020 And they said it was a typo.
00:17:25.540 We make $30 million, though.
00:17:26.620 We really don't.
00:17:27.740 We just make $200,000 a year.
00:17:29.480 We don't make $30 million.
00:17:31.360 That was the, you know, I mean, try to do that.
00:17:34.280 your irs findings any of you you guys and see if they put you under the jail for a lot about 30
00:17:39.680 million dollars right it's really funny though because we knew that all of this was going to
00:17:46.040 come out and but we it's 22 days to the midterms and so she's on the ballot just so everybody knows
00:17:53.820 in minnesota's fifth and everybody on the left is going to say that part today so we're going to say
00:17:59.660 it too but then we're going to say the actual the other half of it that a paperwork investigation
00:18:05.200 that has been running for years does not get to stop because an election showed up on the calendar
00:18:10.320 if a sitting member of congress if they could freeze a federal case by filing for re-election
00:18:16.820 then every one of them would do it and none of us would ever see the inside of that document again
00:18:21.860 so her side spent 10 years telling you that nobody is above the law we agreed with them
00:18:29.900 and we agree with them now so the difference here is that we actually mean it the question that we
00:18:37.280 would like answered by friday is the simple one and that is what is in the affidavit that's what
00:18:43.200 everybody wants to know and we don't have it we don't know what's in there probably all kinds of
00:18:47.580 good stuff probably everything that we've said since the very beginning right I mean the whole
00:18:53.280 thing with her marrying her brother President Trump has said that on numerous occasions then
00:18:58.680 you have the fraud in Minnesota that she was very much connected to I mean there's all kinds of
00:19:05.460 things we're all to begin maybe all of it's in there who knows campaign contributions I mean
00:19:13.040 You could really let your mind work with this one because of what we know about Ilhan Omar.
00:19:21.640 But she is on the ballot, and this comes down.
00:19:25.420 Then you have the crazy story where they reported that Frico was in a nut house,
00:19:30.400 and now they're just like, nope, that's just debunked now, because he said so.
00:19:35.280 That was an interesting situation.
00:19:38.480 First off, he has not been seen at all, okay?
00:19:41.680 So he was gone.
00:19:42.760 he was MIA and everybody wanted to know why he vanishes for two weeks at 37 and now we want the
00:19:53.160 records so Paxton is front and center and you've got him you've got the hiding health claims is
00:20:01.360 like you know those are looming he won't he's saying that it's the flu but yet did you hear a
00:20:06.540 sniffle when he started doing interviews today did you hear any any scratch of you know I've
00:20:12.520 been sick i mean he looked like he was in his very tip-top shape he looked flush he he looked
00:20:19.760 like he was you know i mean he had pink in his cheeks he didn't look like he was through something
00:20:26.000 terrible like the flu nothing like that i mean that's just an observation it doesn't
00:20:31.100 screw loose right lots of them they're putting all these poles he's up by seven and eight if
00:20:38.400 anybody believes that i got a bridge to sell you in san francisco that's what they're claiming is
00:20:43.580 that he is in the lead so there's just no way texas is going to do a midterm where they're
00:20:48.180 voting on a governor when the governor's up it's totally different wow because they'll vote vote
00:20:53.980 down ballot when the governor's not in the race on a midterm it's a lot harder to win but they
00:20:59.400 did this with beto beto every time he's won ran in texas they have him up eight or nine points
00:21:05.240 and he always gets killed. It's a big upset. This is really a big race. This is a race that we have
00:21:12.300 got to have Paxton win. And it seems like, you know, when you start looking at all the different
00:21:19.340 people that are involved, especially Cornyn, who is so upset over the fact that he lost to Paxton.
00:21:28.120 I mean, Paxton even is claiming, and we've even said this on the show too, that, you know,
00:21:33.080 he's working against him and that the swamp is working against him but paxton claims that cornyn
00:21:38.140 is working against him and there's a leaked tape so cnn they publish an audio from a private ken
00:21:45.460 paxton fundraiser that was held in washington on september the 24th and it is reportedly at least
00:21:52.960 the fifth recording to leak at one event which tells you something about the room so on this
00:21:59.400 particular tape that's out there they're saying that paxton said about cornyn he is clearly not
00:22:05.280 helping me he wants me to lose that's paxton's voice his own opinion on tape that part is solid
00:22:12.840 so then he tells the story and this is what we have said since the beginning cornyn would love
00:22:19.720 nothing more than for paxton to lose so that he can say see what happens when you go against
00:22:26.180 the Republican
00:22:28.360 machine. They wanted to lose the whole Republican.
00:22:30.460 Every Republican in D.C. wanted them to lose.
00:22:32.660 Correct. They can say, you don't go against
00:22:34.360 our candidates. We told you.
00:22:36.020 And how much money they've
00:22:38.280 spent. Like Junior High up there.
00:22:40.400 Right. And look how much money
00:22:42.160 they spent to keep Cornyn.
00:22:45.640 Like $80 million
00:22:46.380 and he got like 26% of them.
00:22:48.560 That's it.
00:22:49.880 In a primary where he's the one.
00:22:52.420 Oh my God. Right.
00:22:53.980 Right. So Cornyn, you don't see him out there saying support Paxton.
00:22:59.080 I mean, this is just what's out there. I haven't heard that. Have you?
00:23:01.960 Have you seen that anywhere where he's like, look, I want everybody that voted for me to rally and get behind him?
00:23:08.560 No, which tells you exactly why Texans said no to Cornyn to begin with.
00:23:14.480 And I know that Elon Musk has done quite a bit.
00:23:18.000 He's been supporting candidates.
00:23:19.380 It's $10 million for Paxton is what he put into the coffers because we've got to win this race.
00:23:25.980 We do.
00:23:26.880 Right now, I guess what they're claiming, I guess the latest story is that he's three points behind this Tala Frico.
00:23:35.600 So we will see.
00:23:36.460 What happened?
00:23:37.260 Yeah. 0.90
00:23:38.460 There's polls out there to have every single race the Democrats are winning.
00:23:42.280 They're winning in Iowa.
00:23:43.360 They're winning in Texas.
00:23:44.400 They're winning in Alaska.
00:23:45.340 It ain't going to happen like that.
00:23:46.620 But here's the thing.
00:23:47.980 we always have to act like we're losing that is how we win we cannot assume anything especially
00:23:55.400 when we're in a race especially one that they describe as tight with the democrats because we
00:24:01.620 know what happens if we let up for even one second then we get in major major trouble so we have to
00:24:09.620 pretend like we are losing by 20 points and if you're in California or if you're in a state where
00:24:15.660 you don't feel like your voice is being heard, this is what I'm putting all of my effort into
00:24:20.720 is this particular race with Paxton. I would love to have Paxton on this show. I'd love to have
00:24:27.140 Paxton win this particular race because of what it would represent and what it would say to the 0.62
00:24:33.560 deep state, what it would say to the rhinos in the Senate, because we're in the process of trying
00:24:39.680 to clear that out, and what it would say to America that, look, the Americans are, they're
00:24:45.000 the ones we're the ones the base we are saying these are the people that we want in the senate
00:24:49.560 instead and we're going to do everything in our power to get them there that's our job
00:24:54.120 i'm more fired up about the midterms this time i well not more but equally so as the last race
00:25:02.260 with president trump because i know what's going to happen if we don't win
00:25:05.780 we've seen what happens with this they win the house they're going to teach in
00:25:14.180 13 times and that's where all of the effort and energy will be instead of on improving this
00:25:19.220 country and i don't want that we went through it the first term we went through this exact same 0.50
00:25:27.640 thing the first term then you had i mean this is like such a crazy news cycle you had a the ag who
00:25:37.700 was hit with a bar complaint you know who i'm talking about right yeah leticia james yes so
00:25:46.840 this was another one a watchdog group called the national legal and policy center they filed a
00:25:53.480 formal grievance against new york attorney general leticia james there were nine pages it was dated
00:25:58.820 october 9th filed with attorney grievance committee of the appellate division first department so
00:26:06.680 So what it all is about, it's about a post that she made on September the 28th about
00:26:12.980 the Cornell sexual assault case. In her own words, she said, what this young woman has been forced
00:26:21.160 to endure is horrific and unacceptable. To her and to all survivors, you are not alone.
00:26:28.260 Well, then three days later, you have Governor Hochul, who appointed her special prosecutor
00:26:33.880 on the same matter so the complaint asks that she recuse or be removed and asks for an investigation
00:26:42.060 and appropriate disciplinary sanctions but here's the thing that we're gonna say here that the
00:26:48.780 complaint is not a ruling the grievance committee has not said one word and they have not confirmed
00:26:56.040 it open that it opened anything and that these proceedings they are confidential by default so
00:27:03.260 anybody can file one of these this is something that can just happen the group filed it and you
00:27:10.340 know they're an advocacy organization not a discipline disciplinary authority so you know
00:27:17.700 this is where we are with that but somebody did get out there and file this which i'm glad about
00:27:24.700 because the whole thing is really awful that cornell for i thought that was over and then
00:27:31.900 And Hochul decides to reopen it. 0.89
00:27:34.840 Yeah, it's just because it's white guys. 0.80
00:27:36.680 Right.
00:27:37.720 Rich white guys, that's all they care about, just like the Duke case. 0.99
00:27:41.560 Got to get those rich white kids.
00:27:43.640 Right when you think. 1.00
00:27:44.900 They's raping everybody up there at college. 0.99
00:27:47.120 Right. 0.98
00:27:47.900 Right when you think that this is.
00:27:50.040 That nut on the Duke case, if nobody remembers that a long time ago,
00:27:53.520 I mean, it had Al Sharpton, and they were, no justice, no peace.
00:27:57.840 And it was the biggest story in the country. 0.90
00:27:59.700 and they tried to get these duke lacrosse players and got it for rape and she made the whole thing
00:28:07.200 up and finally admitted it and nothing happened to her and then later she killed somebody she's 0.91
00:28:14.980 in prison for murder right now that's right that was her boyfriend that was her boyfriend who she
00:28:20.680 killed she just is really bad she's it was like with a knife or something wasn't it it was really
00:28:26.280 gory and it was really awful it was really really bad yeah she was a black girl they were rich white 0.71
00:28:32.940 guys and it never happened she made the whole thing up and they about ruined they did ruin 0.76
00:28:38.880 these people's lives for years gosh as an ol sharpton i was when al sharpton was the fat al 0.50
00:28:47.560 sharpton not the one that looks like an embalm muppet now you know when you start talking about
00:28:53.940 body snatching and like all of that weird stuff um yeah he kind of comes to mind it's crazy but 0.71
00:29:02.960 that looks like an embalm puppet well i mean he looks so completely different
00:29:07.740 but she's she's in how's that even the same person so it's hard to believe but she is in
00:29:16.060 prison she's not in jail the charge was second degree murder she is serving time at the north
00:29:22.700 carolina color correctional facility for women for a 2013 second degree murder conviction for
00:29:30.080 stabbing her boyfriend she was originally indicted on first jury murder but the jury
00:29:35.860 convicted on second degree she was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years what's her name again i can't
00:29:45.360 remember uh so the vict okay so her name let's see here crystal mangram gum crystal man gum is
00:29:54.700 her name and the victim was reginald day and he was fatally stabbed on april 3rd 2011
00:30:03.040 yep he was lacking picture so then she decides that she's going to come clean with all this
00:30:09.980 stuff and the she has an interview and she spoke from prison on a on a talk show let's talk with
00:30:17.420 cat i guess was the name of it and she admitted that she testified falsely that the players
00:30:23.540 raped her when they didn't she named david evans colin finnerty and reed seligman and asked their
00:30:32.620 forgiveness no well the problem is she can't be charged for the lie that's the bad news 0.54
00:30:40.840 north carolina's statute of limitations on perjury is only two years i know they when when when when
00:30:49.900 you um if you falsely accuse guys are right you should get exactly what they would have got if
00:30:56.300 They were convicted, which is probably 20 years. 0.91
00:30:59.260 Well, what happened was Nifong paid the price.
00:31:04.600 The prosecutor was disbarred in 2007 as a result of all of this.
00:31:11.120 Yeah, and I mean, it just got so nutty, nobody believed it anymore.
00:31:15.720 I mean, Nancy Grace was out there, you know, fighting for the woman girl who got raped.
00:31:21.420 They love a story, and they love the spin.
00:31:24.000 What they stay away from is facts.
00:31:25.000 Stephen Miller became famous.
00:31:26.900 He was at Duke, and he was working for the school newspaper.
00:31:32.500 And they kept having him on TV.
00:31:35.620 And he was the one saying, this is a fake.
00:31:38.400 They didn't do it.
00:31:39.580 He was the only one saying it.
00:31:41.480 Very interesting.
00:31:43.180 I mean, the whole thing, they ruined those young men's lives.
00:31:46.600 They really did.
00:31:48.120 Their faces were out there.
00:31:50.540 They were slandered in the worst way.
00:31:53.500 And so, two years, statute of limitations, when she decided she was just going to come out and clear the air, yeah, right.
00:32:03.340 She knew exactly that she would not be prosecuted for it.
00:32:09.720 Nothing clearing about that.
00:32:12.460 She knew exactly what she could say and what she didn't.
00:32:15.180 She just wanted her name back out there.
00:32:19.180 Unbelievable.
00:32:20.020 Yeah.
00:32:20.600 Psycho.
00:32:21.460 Statute of limitations. 1.00
00:32:22.340 Absolute psychopath. 0.97
00:32:23.880 On perjury is only two years. 1.00
00:32:26.420 She destroyed those guys.
00:32:29.200 Sounds like she's up for...
00:32:31.560 Close. 1.00
00:32:32.800 Yeah, she's about up to get out of prison. 0.93
00:32:36.000 They love to let them out, don't they? 0.92
00:32:38.780 Stay far away from her.
00:32:40.620 I would say.
00:32:42.780 You don't want to end up with a knife in your back, literally.
00:32:44.700 Mm-hmm.
00:32:48.280 Oh, boy.
00:32:49.240 This has been quite the weekend, though.
00:32:50.740 It really has.
00:32:51.540 When you start looking at everything that happened around here, it was crazy.
00:32:55.540 And then the whole thing with President Trump.
00:32:57.720 Trump says it's time for Ukraine to get a new president.
00:33:01.200 Yeah.
00:33:01.600 I loved that.
00:33:03.280 Then, of course, he runs.
00:33:04.600 He's tweeting everybody.
00:33:05.760 Here comes Carney.
00:33:06.520 Oh, he's the greatest.
00:33:08.220 What do you think, Carney?
00:33:09.620 We don't care, Carney.
00:33:11.760 You like all of the blood on his hands.
00:33:13.620 He runs to Europe every time Trump says something bad about him.
00:33:16.280 Well, because they want to be dictators, too.
00:33:18.960 They don't want to pay for anything.
00:33:20.420 They want to stay in their posh.
00:33:21.520 He hasn't had an election in four years after he's—I mean, you are a dictator if you won't have an election.
00:33:27.020 I don't want to hear the excuses.
00:33:28.220 That's right.
00:33:30.680 It's really true. 0.99
00:33:31.980 So, I mean, just horrible stories coming out of Ukraine since he has been in charge.
00:33:37.800 So you have—Saturday, the president said, point blank, Zelensky could have settled this war many times, many, many times, and he chooses not to.
00:33:48.480 And then I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president.
00:33:53.120 So the context of this whole thing really matters because he was angry about Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries.
00:34:00.220 And the day before that, on Thursday, he announced a deal to buy diesel from Russia.
00:34:05.900 And then he attacked a man of Zelensky.
00:34:08.020 Right. So then Zelensky answered on Sunday morning on ABC.
00:34:12.300 And his words were, with all respect to President Trump, it is up to our society, up to our people.
00:34:18.280 Yeah. To choose one or another leader. That's what he said. When he said that, I was like,
00:34:24.480 you've got to be kidding me. And then he made an offer. And this is the part that no one's
00:34:29.520 really talking about. The quote was, give us two months, 60 days off, total ceasefire, 60 days,
00:34:35.960 and we will organize elections. 60 days out of quiet. And then he says that he will put himself
00:34:44.500 on the ballot so on the refineries he said do not attack us do not kill our children we will stop
00:34:51.000 attack attacking your diesel and then on and give them all that money they won't do anything we ask
00:34:58.600 them to do right he says we count that united states will help us do this we count on president
00:35:04.220 and his team involving to stop putin this is what he said and then on sunday president trump posted
00:35:13.600 this on Truth Social. He said, effective immediately, there is an emergency ceasefire
00:35:19.120 in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. And then Zelensky's response
00:35:27.100 to that announcement was, it was news for me. He had not been told. And Russia hit a power plant
00:35:34.580 in Kharkiv the same day so where does that leave it well I mean there is an energy ceasefire that
00:35:45.520 one party announced and the other party found out about on the internet and internet and no one has
00:35:51.460 published a single term of it there isn't any text out there about it there's no monitoring
00:35:56.140 no Russian document there's nothing but I mean say what you will you've had three American presidents
00:36:03.980 in a row that looked at this war and did nothing but wire money at it this one got on the phone
00:36:11.020 he cut a deal on diesel and put the word ceasefire in writing where everybody could see it so you can
00:36:18.740 argue with how it was done all day long but you can't argue with it anybody else tried well I
00:36:23.280 don't believe anything they say if they say oh Russia's breaking the ceasefire I don't believe 0.99
00:36:27.740 anything that comes out of Zelensky's mouth like Sniffy the clown cokehead you know people were 0.99
00:36:31.800 trying to give him credit just a couple of months ago they were like hey you know what he's really 0.96
00:36:36.320 he's really got a point there we're really behind you know what this whole thing when you start
00:36:40.400 talking about the cost of lives and everything else the fact that he wouldn't let people vote
00:36:46.700 in to replace him that he wouldn't put himself on the ballot and all of this other stuff and
00:36:51.920 taking people off the streets you saw the videos we played a few of them on this show back then
00:36:56.680 I mean come on it's time for something to happen he has had several opportunities to come to the
00:37:06.000 table he has refused every single one I mean he turned down a settlement in the president's own
00:37:12.640 count many times he went on American television and it would say you know things he went to the
00:37:20.440 White House you remember how he disrespected everybody in the Oval Office you had Marco
00:37:24.620 rubio there he had everybody there trying to deal he wouldn't deal well on sunday morning he finally
00:37:31.460 was forced to name a number 60 days i mean that is a movement it took this president to actually
00:37:38.420 get him to commit to something he got 60 days so you know none of this has been nailed down yet
00:37:45.840 and we'll tell you you know just he's not gonna hold an election he'll sit there and say he's
00:37:50.080 attacked every day right none of the years right it's just talk it's just talk unreal
00:38:01.580 that really i mean it has been such a crazy a crazy couple of weeks i don't know i mean i'm
00:38:08.700 just kind of going midterms is upon us and we haven't even scratched the surface we know about
00:38:16.400 October surprises. And this isn't even counting towards what I think we're going to get.
00:38:25.620 None of it. I think there's a lot of things up people's sleeves. The Tala Frico thing is
00:38:31.600 really interesting. The more we hear about that, the better it's going to get. But boy,
00:38:36.220 do they have a lot of people covering. It's a weirdo, man. Well, and you have the view that's
00:38:40.380 over there, right when the story
00:38:42.400 started to break, they were
00:38:43.940 just defending him to the very end
00:38:46.620 and all of that. I mean, they brought
00:38:48.320 out everybody to start talking
00:38:50.240 about how great he is.
00:38:53.320 This guy,
00:38:54.700 if you look at what he has
00:38:56.380 said in the past, I mean,
00:38:58.580 uh-uh.
00:39:00.820 I mean, we can
00:39:01.680 thank him for getting rid of Crockett. Okay,
00:39:04.500 so Jasmine Crockett's out,
00:39:06.540 but that's about it. 1.00
00:39:10.380 don't know at least they got rid of that idiot there's there's a lot of that and her fake ghetto 1.00
00:39:16.800 accent she's a little rich kid yeah just that whole thing really really but she's still she's 1.00
00:39:26.060 like i'll have some grateful palm oh yeah she does very well yeah yeah she's just a joke man so bad 0.99
00:39:35.440 i mean she goes from ghetto you have the dumbest people on both sides representing this country i 1.00
00:39:40.080 I mean, we have some just absolute dumbasses up there. 1.00
00:39:45.160 Idiots. 1.00
00:39:45.840 Yeah. 1.00
00:39:46.800 I mean, look at the rhinos.
00:39:50.000 And I completely am 100% behind Paxton in the fact that Cornyn is going for El Frico to win.
00:39:57.700 Just so that he will have a shot to come back and run again.
00:40:02.740 That's what he wants, though.
00:40:04.260 See?
00:40:04.980 He does not want his days behind him.
00:40:07.800 They will be if Paxton wins.
00:40:10.700 Otherwise, he's going to show up on the ballot and that's what he's going to run on.
00:40:15.400 Is that Paxton could not beat Talafrico and that he's the guy.
00:40:19.740 And they're going to throw all kinds of money on it.
00:40:21.900 And he will get right back into that position where he derails us each and every turn.
00:40:26.800 You know it.
00:40:27.320 I know it.
00:40:27.800 Everybody knows that.
00:40:29.380 That's the play.
00:40:30.640 That's the only play.
00:40:33.560 That's what makes me so angry because that is the ugly part of politics.
00:40:37.400 Well, I mean, there's plenty of ugly parts, but he doesn't care about Texas.
00:40:41.460 He doesn't care who the better choice is.
00:40:43.520 He doesn't care what the people and his constituents want.
00:40:46.860 He cares about what he wants, and it's his way to get back into Washington D. Sleaze.
00:40:52.500 That's it right there, and that's what he thinks his ticket will be.
00:40:56.440 So he has big plans in the future if Paxton can't pull this out.
00:41:02.100 So we need everybody on deck.
00:41:03.600 We need you all working on it and getting the word out on Paxton.
00:41:07.600 Really pull for him.
00:41:08.920 Donate to his campaign if you can.
00:41:11.260 All of that stuff helps.

00:43:11.120 here in the political stratosphere well the five networks one antitrust file and a ruling is due
00:43:21.920 tomorrow on it that's a very big deal been talking about this for a while loving that
00:43:28.200 president trump put them on blast so this is the story that you heard about a couple of what was
00:43:35.580 it a week and a half ago that we put out there for everybody so it has moving parts they're all
00:43:42.260 the same story basically part one is the justice department's antitrust division they have opened
00:43:47.540 up an investigation into the television networks let me put you guys on the stream screen here i
00:43:52.520 didn't know you weren't on there part one the justice department's antitrust division has
00:43:58.360 opened an investigation into the television network so that makes up the white house press
00:44:05.360 pool just so you know civil investigative demands went out on friday every aggravator that you read
00:44:13.660 this weekend it listed the four networks ABC CBS CNN NBC there are five and the fifth one is Fox
00:44:22.700 so I'm telling you that on purpose because the fifth name is the whole story so if this were
00:44:29.740 just the administration going after the networks it does not like then Fox would not be on that
00:44:35.960 list fox is on that list so the theory is group boycott doj spokeswoman emily covington she said
00:44:47.980 that members of the television press pool have proudly boycotted covering white house events
00:44:54.580 group boycotts among commercial competitors they violate the sherman act and then there was another
00:45:03.020 quote the antitrust division is simply investigating to determine whether these
00:45:08.960 news organizations have violated the antitrust laws there have been no charges no lawsuit
00:45:15.360 and investigation then there's the part two and this is where it all came from so in mid-september
00:45:23.780 the white house barred cnn ms now and politico from the grounds you all remember this story
00:45:29.720 The five remaining pool networks suspended their pooled video coverage of the president in solidarity.
00:45:36.580 Well, that suspension was brief.
00:45:40.060 The coverage has resumed.
00:45:41.500 They're all in their rightful seats.
00:45:43.680 They were screaming and yelling.
00:45:45.420 You remember that, Kat, all of them.
00:45:47.520 They were on the sidewalk.
00:45:49.060 They were victims.
00:45:50.160 They were acting as if they had no home.
00:45:53.100 The whole deal.
00:45:54.700 Their freedoms and their First Amendment rights had been stripped.
00:45:58.800 All of that went on. Well, the White House position in its own words were covering the president, covering him is a privilege and it's not a right. That was the stance. But then there's part three. And that is tomorrow. A federal judge named Timothy Kelly rules on whether the White House can keep those three outlets out. The temporary order protecting their credentials. It expires the same day. Kelly has.
00:46:25.100 Of course he can. I mean, he might not rule that way, but my God, they can put whoever they want to. And it's not a right. You don't have the rest of your life right to the White House.
00:46:32.500 We'll see what happens with this. So Kelly has already has a line on record about the administration's argument. They said the outlets failed to meet professional standards. The judge called that quote so vague it hardly does the trick.
00:46:48.000 Now, remember, this is all happening in DeSleazy.
00:46:50.520 That has a lot to do with this.
00:46:51.940 So the calendar, if you put the calendar together, tomorrow a judge rules on who gets into the briefing room.
00:46:59.320 And tomorrow morning at 930, you have a brand new white press secretary who is going to walk into that same room for the very first time.
00:47:10.000 That's Katie Zachariah, which I'm really excited about.
00:47:13.720 She's got some tough shoes to fill, but I think she is going to do a fantastic job.
00:47:19.220 She started today.
00:47:20.900 She is the 37th person to hold that job.
00:47:24.080 She comes out of Trump media.
00:47:26.220 She's a lawyer by training.
00:47:28.280 And the president said of her that Katie has been with him in spirit since the very beginning and will do a fantastic job.
00:47:35.540 That is a quote from him.
00:47:37.720 So she is the replacement.
00:47:40.720 Have you seen another big story that's just kind of a story 0.84
00:47:46.880 that Kelly Clarkson and that store going at it?
00:47:50.480 Mm-hmm.
00:47:53.120 Yeah.
00:47:54.220 Oh, my gosh, like 50 million views on that.
00:47:57.220 Mm-hmm. 1.00
00:47:59.040 And then she's trying to throw them in the bus, 0.97
00:48:02.060 but it's called the Streisand effect.
00:48:03.900 Everybody's going to want to go to that store now, 0.99
00:48:05.240 whether they're assholes or not. 0.99
00:48:06.720 It's really interesting. 1.00
00:48:07.900 She just gave them more publicity than all the millions of dollars. 0.97
00:48:14.440 Yeah, they didn't know who she was.
00:48:16.080 They do now.
00:48:21.180 They've been going back and forth today.
00:48:23.180 Oh, she's not letting it go.
00:48:25.100 Definitely not.
00:48:26.720 Do you know who I am?
00:48:29.640 One of the Reese Witherspoon, remember she got a DUI and she said, do you know who I am?
00:48:33.920 I think a lot of people have pulled that same card.
00:48:37.900 Right?
00:48:38.600 Where you live, everybody does.
00:48:40.020 Yeah, it's kind of like...
00:48:41.720 Nobody knows who anybody is around here, so nobody does know who you are.
00:48:48.120 Well, what...
00:48:49.000 Do you know who I am? Yeah.
00:48:50.380 You're the drunk girl that's about to get arrested for driving under the influence. 0.72
00:48:54.440 Gosh. 0.98
00:48:55.300 Then they had another crazy actress, Selma Blair, was just arrested for biting a flight attendant, 0.89
00:49:03.220 kicking and hitting a flight attendant, and then trying to open the plane doors midair.
00:49:07.900 i'm sure she wasn't i'm sure she wasn't on anything sure she was yeah she's in a ton of
00:49:13.620 movies too gosh yeah that's what you call um over served yeah and then you have the piglossi effect
00:49:23.060 where you had nancy piglossi's husband who was could barely stand up and he was still able able
00:49:30.420 to drive after that first incident there have been there's been another one that dude's a weirdo
00:49:34.660 And I still don't believe the hammer guy.
00:49:36.460 I still think that one's a lover.
00:49:38.140 And ain't nobody going to convince me otherwise.
00:49:39.900 And they just threw him under the bus and got rid of him.
00:49:41.820 They got rid of him in jail.
00:49:43.620 They threw him right in the tank.
00:49:45.200 They said bye.
00:49:46.300 You're not allowed to talk to anybody anymore. 1.00
00:49:47.920 You're just a male prostitute. 1.00
00:49:49.160 You have no value to us. 1.00
00:49:51.260 Oh, gosh.
00:49:53.080 Well, it is Columbus Day.
00:49:55.300 And today, the Columbus Parade went up Fifth Avenue without the mayor of New York.
00:50:02.200 Man, we had a day we could have took off and did.
00:50:03.860 No, really? Well, Zoran Mamdani skipped it. That's one thing that happened. Now, he had already said that he would. And last October at a debate, there are many parades. He said that, that I would not be attending because I would be focusing on the work of leading the city. Okay, fine. So that's his answer.
00:50:23.280 but here is the part that's not quite right about the parade that basically two days before the
00:50:31.860 parade he put out a video for italian american heritage month this is it was nearly three
00:50:38.460 minutes long and in it he names one italian american congressman to honor his words on
00:50:45.860 october the 10th happy italian heritage month new york here is continuing to fight for
00:50:52.800 Vito Mercantonio's version of government that works for all working people.
00:51:01.320 So I did some research on this guy.
00:51:04.740 This is Vito Mercantonio.
00:51:07.120 He is from East Harlem.
00:51:08.940 He came up under Fiorella LaGuardia.
00:51:13.740 He was elected to Congress in 1934 as a Republican.
00:51:18.640 By 1938, he is running on the American Labor Party line.
00:51:23.680 By 1948, he is that party's New York state chairman.
00:51:28.820 And he was good at it.
00:51:30.180 In 1942, and again in 1944, he won the Republican primary, the Democrat primary, and his own party's primary.
00:51:39.120 He won all three.
00:51:40.700 So in 1947, Albany passed a law to keep candidates out of other party primaries.
00:51:47.440 and they called it the Anti-Markantonio Law. They wrote a law about one man.
00:51:55.080 So then the record. 1947, he fought the creation of the CIA. His words were,
00:52:01.760 if it were not for the Cold War hysteria, then few members of Congress would vote for that
00:52:08.420 provision. 1950, Korea, he cast the only vote in the House of Representatives against American
00:52:17.340 intervention his one vote was his he said he was not a communist and he said it plainly quote I
00:52:26.160 disagree with communists and then in the same sentence kept going they have they have said
00:52:31.700 and have the perfect right to speak out so in November of 1950 the Democrats the Republicans
00:52:39.820 and the Liberal Party they all put the same man against him one candidate three lines on the
00:52:46.020 ballot the house clerk's official count donovan on three lines 49,448 mark antonio on one line
00:52:57.880 36,095 so the democrats in their own line 25,215 fewer than he got by himself so i took all of
00:53:09.480 these it took all of these parties behind one name plus a law written about him personally
00:53:15.000 to get him out of congress because he was going to keep himself there so of every italian american
00:53:23.980 that new york has ever sent to washington the mayor of new york reached for the one
00:53:28.640 that three parties had to join together to remove and this isn't just out of nowhere i mean
00:53:36.360 june of 2020 he posted a photograph of a middle finger raised at the columbus statue in astoria
00:53:43.800 and he said take it down
00:53:46.860 so I mean
00:53:50.140 you had the summer of course
00:53:52.780 where the city published a map
00:53:54.540 of immigrant enclaves
00:53:56.300 little Pakistan was on it 0.92
00:53:57.820 little Yemen was on it 0.82
00:53:59.040 little Italy was not
00:54:00.900 Bensonhurst was not
00:54:03.840 his mask is coming off day by day
00:54:06.420 yeah I mean it was
00:54:07.820 the old fake smiling
00:54:09.240 yeah
00:54:10.460 Yeah. He said later on that, I mean, in all fairness, he said Little Italy would be added, but you don't make an oversight like that. And it hasn't been since. And then the parade organizers, they invited him anyway. And this was Christopher Loacono of the Columbus Citizen Foundation in September. He said, look, we feel cooperating is always a better path.
00:54:33.080 and they said look but he did not go so italian americans were 13.9 percent of new york city in
00:54:43.040 1980 and they are 5.7 percent now so nobody made the mayor skip that parade nobody made him pick
00:54:53.400 veto marcantonio two choices two days apart and they point the same direction 0.66
00:54:59.760 this is a very interesting thing i mean it took three parties to get rid of this clown and this
00:55:06.500 is the guy that mom's three minutes before the show's over i finally remembered to three minutes
00:55:13.660 before the show's over i finally remembered to retweet the show on x there we go yes all that
00:55:22.240 i still i'm looking at my email you're still having come through well if you didn't get any
00:55:27.200 it just came through it came through at 2 49 it came through seven minutes ago you'll get a whole
00:55:33.760 but you'll get three of them at least and then yeah that's i'm blaming it on california oh do
00:55:40.460 not you had the hurricane no because i like i said i'm getting all my messages and i've been
00:55:47.060 sending stuff all day you sent me three of them yes i did well i've got number one it's at 2 49 so
00:55:54.000 maybe tomorrow you should just send it to x2 just in case yeah that's really weird i don't know why
00:56:01.940 but i was like why i mean i looked to see if you had texted me to say hey you know what i've got
00:56:06.760 cleanup to do in the yard i'm not going to make it today i i was thinking that you weren't going
00:56:11.080 to come on the show i had no idea i was wow i've been trimming palm trees all day gosh
00:56:18.580 i got some people coming over at the end of the week to help me clean up this yard
00:56:22.940 wow that's always i was on a i was on a john deere tractor for two years i cleaned up all
00:56:29.280 this mess all these i had a few people come and help me haul just the big giant trunks that i
00:56:35.320 couldn't cut in a single cut they're so hard to cut with a chainsaw man i went through i bought
00:56:41.740 a real expensive steel chainsaw back in them days and four or five extra blades blade sharpeners and
00:56:47.900 And, I mean, I went through all that stuff, gallons and gallons of blade fuel and everything.
00:56:58.720 I mean, I spent like $3,000, $4,000.
00:57:02.080 I sat over here, and I worked on the road then.
00:57:04.560 I wasn't full-time on X or nothing.
00:57:07.560 I worked on the road, and I was two weeks on, and I'd get three days at the house.
00:57:11.820 I'd sit here on that John Deere tractor cutting stuff over, hauling it off.
00:57:16.900 Oh, God.
00:57:17.900 Luckily, our neighbors have this big hole in the back of the yard that was a pond area.
00:57:22.500 Somebody used it to cut.
00:57:25.020 It illegally gets sand and give it to people.
00:57:28.860 And then it was eroding, so they wanted me to push all these trees and limbs over there kind of around the bank.
00:57:33.780 It's huge, like three acres long, which helps.
00:57:37.460 Like when it decays, it helps for erosion.
00:57:40.000 Okay.
00:57:40.780 So I was able to open up my fence, and I was able just to push all that stuff over.
00:57:45.120 But it took me two years.
00:57:47.900 to get this place looking like it should it takes a long time when i was working on the road i could
00:57:55.020 only do it three or four days a month so i'll i'll never forget the whole mess that was left
00:58:01.980 with my parents with katrina i mean that was just a real nightmare so many people lost so many
00:58:08.300 things i asked flight admiral james he's got his own stories about katrina that was a horrible
00:58:14.620 deal for so many people they're still not over it and they still hadn't fixed the levees right
00:58:21.580 there's still it would happen again if they had another big one come through there
00:58:25.700 everybody's real concerned about it yeah and they had that the whole city was planned terribly i
00:58:31.180 mean they've just they built a city below sea level it's nuts yeah city should never been built
00:58:38.940 there well they say the same thing about a lot of different places i mean they say the same thing
00:58:44.840 about people that build their houses close to california coast i mean it's louisiana more than
00:58:51.720 any state it's it's it's who you know if you want to get stuff done if you want to get bridges built
00:58:56.100 if you want to get the stuff i done gosh it's who you know believe me they got the good old boy
00:59:04.960 system in louisiana way more than georgia or alabama oh yeah mississippi too it's the same
00:59:11.240 kind of thing and look at look at california there's more red tape here than you can even
00:59:16.360 imagine you can't do anything yeah i want to start a business let's move to california so in
00:59:21.180 10 years from now and i'm broke i can finally do it and i'm gonna get tax doubled nobody wants to
00:59:26.360 come there and start businesses right it's the opposite you never hear anybody say that
00:59:31.340 It's a business repellent.
00:59:32.980 It used to be where people would say, come to California, oh my gosh, you can raise your
00:59:36.700 family, you have beautiful weather, and all of this opportunity. 0.95
00:59:40.980 You just can't keep taxing the shit out of people until they can't survive.
00:59:44.900 Well, now you've got all of these huge billionaires and almost trillionaires moving to other places 0.86
00:59:51.920 because they don't want to be taxed for that.
00:59:54.280 I saw somebody posted online, a younger, young lady in California, I think she was in L.A.,
01:00:00.240 And she said, look at this.
01:00:01.960 This is, look at this.
01:00:03.620 This is California.
01:00:04.940 She got a piece of toast with avocado on it.
01:00:06.920 It was like $23 for breakfast.
01:00:08.340 This is what I'm telling you.
01:00:09.300 Yeah.
01:00:10.200 And I'm like, well, we've talked about this before.
01:00:12.060 It's not that they want to charge $23, but they get taxed so much that if they don't charge that, they can't afford to stay in business.
01:00:20.460 It's true.
01:00:21.300 When you start talking about all the condiments and everything else to run a business is out of control.
01:00:27.780 So just go home, a piece of bread is like 10 cents, just make it at home.
01:00:33.220 Yeah.
01:00:34.460 Yeah.
01:00:36.180 Well, that is it for us.
01:00:38.320 Is there anything else you'd like to add there, Kat?
01:00:40.040 This weekend was wild.
01:00:41.080 No, I'll try not to be late tomorrow.
01:00:43.760 No worries.
01:00:44.640 I'll just keep sending it.
01:00:45.760 Let me see if I got the second one in yet.
01:00:47.660 Hold on.
01:00:48.200 Nope.
01:00:49.280 I just got the first one, $2.49.
01:00:51.960 You're going to get another and another after that because I started panicking.
01:00:55.640 Which is 349 Eastern.
01:00:58.200 I just didn't know if something had happened.
01:01:01.020 I had no idea.
01:01:03.500 I texted you finally and said, hey, man, where's my invite?
01:01:05.680 I know.
01:01:06.220 I'm like, you mean you're not coming on the show?
