Summary

Trump endorsed Mark Carney prior to the election, and now the chickens are coming home to roost. What's the difference between a liberal and a conservative presidential candidate? And why is it easier to deal with a liberal than a conservative?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 Isn't that going to make them more hostile to us and possibly open the door for China, closer to Canada?
00:00:06.740 And that would really put us in a bind.
00:00:08.320 The conservative that's running is stupidly no friend of mine.
00:00:12.140 I don't know him, but he said negative things.
00:00:13.840 So when he says negative things, I couldn't care less.
00:00:16.320 I think it's easier to deal actually with a liberal.
00:00:23.600 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel.
00:00:25.820 Thursday, December the 4th, 319 a.m.
00:00:29.280 Great to have you along today.
00:00:30.500 Three weeks before Christmas.
00:00:32.160 Yeah, three weeks before Christmas, I've got the big blue mug of coffee.
00:00:36.080 Wonderful to have you here.
00:00:37.560 We'll get back to the clip you saw off the top of this video in just a moment.
00:00:42.100 Basically, Donald Trump endorsing Mark Carney on the Laura Ingraham show on Fox News prior to the election.
00:00:49.900 We now know why he did that.
00:00:52.600 The chickens are coming home to roost.
00:00:55.680 So back to that in just a moment.
00:00:57.460 There's a number I want you to think about.
00:01:02.780 374.
00:01:04.320 374.
00:01:05.360 What is the significance of the number 374?
00:01:08.840 Well, to the best of my ability, I went back to search for the exact day that Donald Trump started talking about tariffs on Canada.
00:01:18.540 Now, if we go back to the story right here, Trudeau to meet with premiers as Trump threatens hefty tariffs on Canadian goods.
00:01:25.320 You notice the date is November the 26th, which was a Tuesday.
00:01:29.720 So more than a year ago.
00:01:30.940 This was 373 days ago when this story went up.
00:01:36.320 If you look down here in the story, it says the U.S. president-elect said Monday, 374 days ago, that on his first day back in the White House, he would impose a 25% tax on all goods imported from Canada and Mexico.
00:01:50.180 So, it has now been 374 days since the Liberal government knew we were going to have tariffs, and nothing has been accomplished on this at all.
00:02:01.960 Nothing.
00:02:02.760 In fact, things have gotten worse.
00:02:04.520 Now, you're going to say, well, this was under Justin Trudeau.
00:02:07.220 Let's take a little quick trip through these stories here.
00:02:10.740 This is not a comprehensive list of all the times that people have spoken about tariffs in this country over the last 374 days.
00:02:18.940 But on November 27th, Trudeau met with the premiers as Trump ramps up his threats against Canada.
00:02:24.720 Up next, Trudeau holding second meeting with premiers to talk about Trump tariff threat.
00:02:29.160 This was on December 11th.
00:02:30.700 Let's go to the next story.
00:02:32.120 This was January 15th.
00:02:33.460 Trudeau, premiers say all options on the table to respond to Trump's tariffs.
00:02:37.680 Up next, we have got Mark Carney meeting with premiers to discuss Canada's response to U.S. tariffs on March the 28th.
00:02:45.060 We've got another one here on April the 3rd.
00:02:47.460 We have got another one here on July 22nd.
00:02:50.260 Premiers discussed building a stronger and more secure Canada, and this was with the prime minister.
00:02:55.220 We can go to this one here, which was August 6th.
00:02:57.580 Carney meets with cabinet premiers to talk escalating Trump tariffs.
00:03:01.820 And then we can go to this one here, just from November 17th.
00:03:05.380 Premiers say they had a positive meeting with PM.
00:03:08.080 Hint that tariff relief is coming.
00:03:10.320 It has been 374 days since this liberal government under Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney have had to deal with these tariffs,
00:03:18.660 and they have accomplished absolutely nothing.
00:03:21.200 Now back to Donald Trump endorsing Mark Carney prior to the election, and we'll get to how the chickens are coming home to roost.
00:03:28.980 They have been for some time, but it's really showing up just in time for Christmas.
00:03:33.160 Is it liberal?
00:03:34.800 Maybe.
00:03:35.200 But, you know, a conservative until I got involved, because I don't care who wins up there.
00:03:39.780 I frankly probably would do better with the liberal than the conservative if you're one of the truth.
00:03:43.720 Isn't that going to make them more hostile to us and possibly open the door for China closer to Canada?
00:03:50.500 And that would really put us in a bind.
00:03:52.000 The conservative that's running is stupidly no friend of mine.
00:03:55.780 I don't know him, but he said negative things.
00:03:57.520 So when he says negative things, I couldn't care less.
00:04:00.120 I think it's easier to deal, actually, with a liberal.
00:04:03.880 There's a reason why Trump endorsed Mark Carney, and it's going to become evident in just a moment.
00:04:11.020 There's a kicker to this story.
00:04:12.960 And for those of you who don't know what a kicker is in relation to a news story, it's the shocking part at the end.
00:04:19.500 It's coming up in just a moment.
00:04:21.460 It's going to kick you right in the balls.
00:04:22.740 Just one of the things that's happened over this 374 days that hasn't been resolved by the liberals.
00:04:28.840 And for those of you saying Mark Carney, he hasn't been prime minister all the time.
00:04:33.540 No, only 220 days ago was he elected officially as the prime minister.
00:04:37.860 220 days since April the 28th.
00:04:40.160 So he hasn't solved this problem.
00:04:43.520 I mean, he talked about the 41,000 jobs lost the other day, right?
00:04:47.020 Brian Lilly did a story on that.
00:04:48.800 As far as negotiations go with Donald Trump, it should be the number one thing.
00:04:53.340 To get this resolved, but who cares?
00:04:57.360 Who cares?
00:04:58.520 I mean, it's a detail.
00:04:59.860 It's a detail.
00:05:00.740 I spoke to him.
00:05:01.580 I'll speak to him again when it matters.
00:05:03.480 Who cares?
00:05:04.600 When they write a political obituary on Mark Carney down the road, because eventually he's going to be ousted, he'll lose an election, he'll be remembered for those two words.
00:05:14.220 Who cares?
00:05:15.120 But you were warned about this.
00:05:17.300 You were warned about Mark Carney being the greatest person to deal with Donald Trump when it came to tariffs.
00:05:24.540 The headlines screamed it out loud and clear, folks.
00:05:27.160 Mark Carney was the only person who could deal with Donald Trump.
00:05:30.500 A new survey from Nanos Research for CTV News shows Mark Carney is the top pick to deal with U.S. President Donald Trump over conservative leader Pierre Polyev and his fellow liberal leadership candidates.
00:05:43.280 And he hasn't done the job.
00:05:44.860 You were warned about this.
00:05:46.900 Pierre Polyev warned you about this.
00:05:48.600 It's clear that President Trump wants the liberals in power because they will keep this country weak.
00:06:03.920 After 10 years in power, the liberals have given us the weakest economy in the G7.
00:06:11.700 They've doubled their housing costs, driven half trillion dollars to the South, all while Mark Carney was economic advisor to Trudeau, and while Mr. Carney moved his corporate headquarters to New York.
00:06:23.080 Do you know that he moved his headquarters to Trump's hometown six days after Trump first threatened to tariff Canada?
00:06:33.440 While these people here were worried about losing their jobs, Mark Carney was busy moving jobs to Trump's hometown.
00:06:41.280 That's exactly the kind of weak, compromised, conflicted leadership that Donald Trump wants, and it's why he endorsed Mark Carney yesterday.
00:06:50.520 Mark Carney moved his corporate headquarters to New York six days after Donald Trump mentioned tariffs.
00:06:56.620 And we go back to our base number of 374.
00:06:59.500 That means it was 368 days ago, and Mark Carney actually defended it.
00:07:05.600 And he lied about it as well.
00:07:08.100 Now, I thought about how to give you the kicker.
00:07:10.300 Here's the kicker to the story.
00:07:12.260 And this is just one of many kickers, but this one's the most recent, and this one really does kick you right in the balls.
00:07:17.900 I wasn't sure how to present this.
00:07:21.960 Do I present another Pierre Polyev clip, this one from the House of Commons within the last 48 hours,
00:07:27.020 or do I actually play the thing that's going to really hit you hardest right at the end?
00:07:31.200 Well, let's really kick you the hardest from the White House in the Oval Office with Donald Trump in just a moment.
00:07:36.640 Once again, Mr. Polyev, take it away.
00:07:39.420 The Prime Minister is running out the back door of Parliament right now.
00:08:05.740 The Prime Minister gets angry and runs out the door rather than answering the questions about the cost.
00:08:31.340 $15 billion out the door.
00:08:41.920 $1,000 for every taxpaying family to a company that is shipping jobs out of the country.
00:08:48.000 Why is he sending our dollars away, our jobs away while he runs away?
00:08:52.540 And now Stellantis with Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
00:08:58.380 Thank you, Mr. President. It's a great day for us at Stellantis today because it's a day where we see cafe regulation reconciled with real customers' demand.
00:09:08.520 That's why at Stellantis we decided to invest to Jeep, Ram, Dodge and Chrysler $13 billion in the next four years, increasing production by 50%, delivering to the market five new vehicles and creating 5,000 additional jobs.
00:09:25.560 That's because we believe in what you, Secretary Duffy, and all your team is doing in this country.
00:09:31.720 We believe in growth. We are ready to invest even more.
00:09:34.880 So thank you very much. Thank you very much also for this great news of the key cars, which we are very interested in.
00:09:40.280 And we are really looking forward to work with Secretary Duffy, your team, in the future for the next next. Thank you very much.
00:09:46.080 Well, get ready for those cars because we've already cleared the way. You can start right away.
00:09:50.500 We will. Thank you very much, Mr. President.
00:09:51.640 Do you feel thoroughly kicked now? Well, that's got to hurt. 374 days, folks.
00:10:01.020 I want to take you back to something that I really like. I had this on a video about a week or so ago.
00:10:06.420 I call this the stages of liberal cope. Only Carney can get a deal. It won't be perfect, but we'll get a deal.
00:10:13.400 If we don't get a deal, it's not Carney's fault. And now we're at no deal is the best deal.
00:10:19.440 Sounds like a bad deal to me. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video.
00:10:24.900 If you did, give it a thumbs up. You can only laugh. Give it a thumbs up.
00:10:28.240 Subscribe to the channel. Ring the bell for notifications.
00:10:30.980 I'm going upstairs to heat up my big blue mug of coffee and I'll see you in the next one.
