The lack of self-awareness in the media and the Democratic Party is to blame for the loss of the last election, but there are a lot of reasons why they lost, and it's time for the media to take a hard look at it.

00:00:17.080And the thing that's really coming clear to me is the ridiculousness and the lack of introspection when it comes to the media and the Democrat Party,

00:00:32.120Of course, the Democrats are running back to their regular tropes, calling people who disagree with them racist and misogynist and whatnot.
00:00:41.940I mean, hell, that's pretty tame compared to calling people Nazis is what they did before the election.
00:00:48.080You know, when you call half the people in the country Nazis, you're really not doing a lot to encourage them to vote for your party.
00:00:55.640But there's a lot of reasons why they lost.
00:00:58.560Kamala Harris, first of all, was just an awful candidate.
00:01:01.800And doing a soft coup against Joe Biden probably wasn't the best thing.
00:01:05.980The thing I'm really interested in is the, I call it news media, but the media arm of the Democratic Party.
00:01:14.960As I watch these pundits and people who are supposed to be experts on elections and election campaigns blaming Elon Musk for having a right-wing propaganda machine with X.

00:01:33.020It was a left-wing propaganda machine prior to the last election when it was owned by Jack Dorsey.
00:01:39.080They throttled right-wing people for misinformation and disinformation.

00:01:46.680It was a huge story that a lot of people on the left didn't even know about because if you'd mentioned it on X or Facebook, you would get banned.

00:01:57.960An absolutely true story that was labeled misinformation and disinformation.
00:02:02.400And I think it had an effect on the last election.
00:02:07.140So, no, it's not a right-wing propaganda machine.

00:02:13.340And I did a radio program where I spoke to a lot of people here in Canada.
00:02:19.220I spoke to Stephen Harper when he was prime minister.

00:02:25.380Of course, Stephen Harper was a conservative.

00:02:30.360Jack Layton, he's passed away, but he was the leader of the socialist NDP here in Canada.
00:02:36.320And I actually spoke to Justin Trudeau as well prior to him becoming a prime minister of Canada.
00:02:42.660But words like integrity and neutrality and objectivity were very important to me, particularly the credibility thing.
00:02:51.500In the town I lived, people knew I was a conservative.
00:02:55.220But I knew better than to throw softballs at a conservative like Stephen Harper and then give all the tough questions to the people I actually disagreed with ideologically, like Jack Layton.

00:03:13.740Here in Canada, we don't have any credibility whatsoever anymore because a lot of the media is being paid by the government.

00:03:25.240But the news media has to do some, to look inside and realize that they're becoming irrelevant.

00:03:43.080And they sit in their kitchen with a camera and people will say, well, they're not journalists.

00:04:33.020And it was a huge part of Donald Trump getting his message out, just like the left were able to use that platform to get their message out.

00:04:45.260There needs to be, there's a total lack of self-awareness when it comes to the media.
