00:00:00.160 Hi, it's John, and welcome to the channel. I've got my big blue mug of coffee, 7.50 a.m.
00:00:06.000 It is still Tuesday, June the 10th, and I'm doing my second video today.
00:00:11.000 I had to do a video on this today. It is infuriating, what I saw this morning.
00:00:16.220 And unfortunately, I didn't see this video prior to me doing my earlier video today,
00:00:21.420 which I think you still should watch on the different layers of obstruction and excuses
00:00:26.520 that the Liberal government, Mark Carney, are coming up with so that we don't have pipelines built in this country.
00:00:33.120 And there's another one here. I'm not going to show you this full five-minute clip of Dan Mazzeer,
00:00:39.860 who is from Riding Mountain in Manitoba, a conservative, grilling Environment Minister Julie DeBruzan
00:00:46.320 in the House of Commons over this issue. I'm not going to show you the five minutes. It will drive you nuts.
00:00:51.020 And it just shows you how awful this Liberal government is, and it continues to be. It hasn't changed at all.
00:00:56.260 But I'm going to link three things together in this video.
00:00:59.960 One, another layer of obstruction for pipelines for Carney and the Liberal Party.
00:01:07.160 Two, huge lost opportunity for Pierre Paulyev during the election campaign.
00:01:11.660 I'm going to show you a clip of me from March the 30th.
00:01:14.960 And three, how this can be used to help the independence movement here in Alberta.
00:01:19.640 So let's watch this clip.
00:01:21.140 Again, Dan Mazzeer, MP, Riding Mountain, Manitoba, conservative, and Julie DeBruzan, the Environment Minister in the House of Commons.
00:01:31.740 The Liberals promised 100% zero-emissions car sales by 2035 in their platform.
00:01:38.280 Does the Minister intend to keep that policy? Yes or no?
00:01:41.780 I'm the Minister.
00:01:42.320 Mr. Chair, let me begin by saying that it has been absolutely one of the worst things to see the unjustified tariffs from the United States against our auto sector.
00:01:54.260 We will have our auto sectors back, and the workers in that industry, we have their backs.
00:01:59.060 Do you intend to keep that policy? Yes or no?
00:02:01.940 The Honourable Minister.
00:02:02.900 Mr. Chair, as I mentioned before, as we move forward, we need to make sure that everything we do…
00:02:11.040 Chair, does the Minister intend to keep that policy? Yes or no?
00:02:16.000 The Honourable Minister.
00:02:17.640 Mr. Chair, the transportation sector is actually 27% of Canada's GHGs.
00:02:23.460 Is the government's target for 100% zero-emissions vehicle sales by 2035 mandatory or optional?
00:02:33.060 The Honourable Minister.
00:02:35.260 Mr. Chair, he's aware that the regulation sets us towards targets to increase the number of sales of EVs across our country.
00:02:45.220 Mr. Chair, it took almost five minutes for that woman to almost admit that less than 10 years from now, you will not have a choice in the vehicle you drive, meaning a gas-powered vehicle.
00:02:59.560 How do you feel about that?
00:03:02.260 Let alone the fact that they're going to pour a lot more of your tax dollars into EV companies and subsidized battery companies, and who knows what the car companies are thinking.
00:03:10.720 They want to build the cars they want to build that they can sell, instead of them sitting on lots, EVs, and not being sold.
00:03:17.600 Why not move it all to the United States?
00:03:19.680 Donald Trump's probably smiling this morning.
00:03:23.420 I mean, I drove out yesterday with my family.
00:03:26.060 They'd never been to Banff.
00:03:27.320 I drove around Lake Minnewonka, up to Norquay.
00:03:29.960 I drove all the way out to Lake Louise.
00:03:31.860 I couldn't have done that yesterday in an electric vehicle.
00:03:33.940 It wouldn't have made it.
00:03:35.300 Up all those mountains and hills and whatnot.
00:03:37.560 It wouldn't have made it.
00:03:38.360 Let alone the fact that if we have two weeks of minus 35 temperatures here in Alberta during the wintertime, an EV just won't make it, folks.
00:03:48.620 So this is the next layer they're adding on.
00:03:50.520 Why build a pipeline?
00:03:52.180 Canada will be gas-powered car-free within the next 10 years.
00:03:57.640 Not to mention Pierre Polyev.
00:04:00.240 Now, if you've been here for a while, you know I ragged on Pierre Polyev for not taking credit for getting rid of the carbon tax on gasoline.
00:04:07.640 That personal carbon tax you've been paying for years, he's the guy that wanted to axe the tax.
00:04:13.580 The liberals never would have done it if it wasn't for Polyev.
00:04:16.700 And he blew a golden opportunity on this type of issue, meaning EVs during the election campaign.
00:04:23.900 I went back and grabbed this clip from March 30th.
00:04:26.780 Listen to what I say here.
00:04:29.100 And I'll follow it up in just a moment.
00:04:32.360 Listen to what I said back on March 30th.
00:04:36.040 Look on the screen right now.
00:04:37.220 Some of you may recognize this.
00:04:38.780 There's 13 rules on the screen.
00:04:40.840 This is Saul Alinsky's rules for radicals.
00:04:43.240 And the left uses this to go after their opponents.
00:04:45.940 I've highlighted number four.
00:04:47.560 Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
00:04:49.520 It stuns me that net zero and has not been mentioned much in this election campaign.
00:04:54.840 I haven't heard much out of Polyev's mouth about Mark Carney, who is Mr. Net Zero.
00:05:01.420 Make him live up to his own book of rules.
00:05:03.240 Denounce net zero.
00:05:04.620 Canada, if you look on the screen again, has committed to net zero emissions by 2050.
00:05:10.080 Polyev needs to come out and say,
00:05:11.040 with the current situation with the United States,
00:05:13.480 Donald Trump, drill baby, drill, giving up on the Paris Accord,
00:05:17.040 Canada is no longer going to be a net zero country.
00:05:20.160 We're going to get our stuff out of the ground,
00:05:21.920 ship it around the world,
00:05:22.920 and allow them to become more environmentally friendly,
00:05:25.260 if you care about that,
00:05:26.480 and make Mark Carney denounce net zero.
00:05:29.740 He's not going to do it.
00:05:31.640 He keeps talking about developing our resources,
00:05:34.840 sitting down with the premiers,
00:05:36.500 getting an energy corridor across the country.
00:05:38.340 He's not going to do that.
00:05:39.360 He doesn't give a damn about what's going on here in the West.
00:05:42.220 That old saying's been popping up.
00:05:43.800 I've been hearing it the last couple of days.
00:05:45.660 Screw the West.
00:05:46.740 We'll take the rest.
00:05:47.680 That's all the votes out East.
00:05:48.800 That's all he needs.
00:05:49.820 Make him denounce net zero.
00:05:51.220 And if he doesn't go after him relentlessly,
00:05:54.000 it's his Achilles heel.
00:05:56.120 I said it was his Achilles heel.
00:05:58.620 It was hardly brought up during the election campaign.
00:06:01.060 Hardly at all.
00:06:02.140 Imagine if Polyev had come out and said,
00:06:04.500 Carney's going to ban the vehicle you want to buy within the next 10 years.
00:06:08.000 You won't have a choice.
00:06:09.080 How do you feel about that?
00:06:10.280 Because that's what you're going to get.
00:06:12.660 You won't be able to drive the car you want in your own country.
00:06:16.680 This is a free country and the liberals won't let you do it.
00:06:19.980 I don't think most people want that.
00:06:23.100 I don't think most people would have voted for that.
00:06:26.760 He blew a golden opportunity.
00:06:28.800 Net zero was hardly mentioned at all.
00:06:30.780 This man is a radical.
00:06:32.560 Julie DeBruzen is a radical.
00:06:34.380 Then we move on to the independence movement here in Alberta.
00:06:39.100 What a great opportunity independence movement in Alberta.
00:06:42.240 Albertans need gas-powered cars.
00:06:44.940 I rewrote the question for the Alberta Prosperity Project.
00:06:49.660 Do you want to be allowed to drive the vehicle of your choice in Alberta?
00:06:54.460 Yes or no?
00:06:55.800 Yes designates leaving Canada.
00:06:57.940 No means Alberta stays in Canada.
00:07:00.220 I don't think there's a lot of Albertans that want to vote away their right to drive the vehicle they want to drive.
00:07:06.400 Use this.
00:07:12.940 The liberals are going to ban your choice for a car in Alberta.
00:07:17.240 Do you really want that?
00:07:18.980 Just another thing to add on to all the reasons why Alberta needs its independence.
00:07:24.940 It's so infuriating.
00:07:26.400 This government is such a joke.
00:07:28.140 The liberals are such a joke.
00:07:29.880 Carney is such a joke.
00:07:31.500 So many people got suckered into voting for these people.
00:07:34.560 Thanks for watching.
00:07:36.740 I do appreciate it.
00:07:37.980 If you like the video, please give me a thumbs up.
