00:00:46.020 going on here. And the other thing is he's announcing new projects on Thursday and there's more to that
00:00:51.340 than meets the eye as well. So let's hear what Mr. Carney had to say about the new Bi-Canadian 0.96

00:02:28.860 money. This will likely end up costing you billions of dollars. But not only that, if we have to buy from
00:02:35.040 elsewhere, there have to be Canadian content rules with that as well. What is still unclear is whether
00:02:41.440 it will apply to private companies that are building infrastructure. If they want to get the federal
00:02:46.380 government to fast track their project or provide money for that project, will they have to buy Canadian?
00:02:53.420 Now, the policy is also saying that if a domestic option is not available, that foreign suppliers would
00:02:59.180 still need to use Canadian content or rely on trusted partners.
00:03:04.580 How will a country around the world, be it the United States or even in Europe, live up to Canadian 1.00
00:03:09.920 content rules when it comes to selling us a product or a service? Really, they can't. So they probably
00:03:16.980 won't even bother to try. It's just another level of regulation, another level of bureaucracy that makes

00:03:28.180 people who think this is a good idea because of the failure of Mark Carney. Now we move on to new
00:03:33.260 projects. Of course, we've had this first round of projects, I think, announced back in September.
00:03:39.380 Well, Carney announces we've got some new ones coming up and he tells us when. And this is a big failure

00:03:46.040 This is not a one and done. It's not one round of projects. And then we move forward with those.

00:04:16.060 is going to decide what gets built in Canada and here in my province of Alberta that wants
00:04:21.640 prosperity and wants independence. And apparently he's going to be standing on the West Coast when
00:04:27.060 he does this. My premier's been in negotiations for months to get a pipeline to the West Coast.
00:04:32.960 And you know what? He might announce it on Thursday. And that means everybody who wants
00:04:38.320 Alberta independence is going to change their minds. But that's not going to happen, folks,
00:04:42.580 in your freaking dreams. He's been laying the groundwork for this since he walked out in the
00:04:47.620 middle of January and said, I'm running for the liberal leadership. And since he became the prime
00:04:51.920 minister of this country, there has to be a consensus. We have to have the provinces aboard
00:04:56.840 and we have to have the aboriginal people aboard. And David Eby, he stands there and says he doesn't
00:05:02.320 want to get rid of the tanker ban. He doesn't want any pipelines. The people of British Columbia don't
00:05:07.160 want any pipelines. But he's been handing the province over to these people, the dress up people who say
00:05:12.220 they go into the forest and they gather their berries and medicines and talk to a tree or
00:05:16.320 something. And there will be no consensus because these people, they don't want a pipeline and they
00:05:21.320 own everything in BC now. And I'm here today as the president of the Haida Nation to make very clear
00:05:29.160 on behalf of the Haida Nation, the Council of the Haida Nation, the Hereditary Chiefs Council,
00:05:34.300 Skidigat Ban Council, Old Massive Village Council, all the communities and people of Haida Gwaii,
00:05:40.180 to make very clear that there's absolutely no support for pipelines to the northwest coast
00:05:50.960 or oil tankers in the waters around Haida Gwaii. The people of Haida Gwaii, all the people who call
00:05:59.780 the island's home, have spoken together with one resounding voice in solidarity with BC and the
00:06:12.060 coastal First Nations in calling on the government of Canada to continue to defend and uphold the oil
00:06:18.260 tanker moratorium act. And we must continue to work together to care for this very important part of the world
00:06:27.580 for the long term, to think long term, to think multi-generational and not short term.
00:06:34.360 Mark Carney may very well announce a pipeline to the west coast on Thursday, but he knows it's not
00:06:39.160 going to get built because of these people, because of David Eby. And he sits back and he says,
00:06:44.360 Danielle, people of Alberta, I gave you a pipeline, but they don't want it. It's their fault. No consensus.
00:06:52.200 And he washes his hand of the situation and he's been laying this out for months so this wouldn't
00:06:57.480 happen. He can make a lot more money on his green energy schemes. And do I mean to be disrespectful
00:07:03.700 to these people? No. But I'm tired of kowtowing to a bunch of people who offer so little to the
00:07:10.040 country, but take so much. And a lot of it is our money. $32 billion a year. If you don't want to help
00:07:17.260 the prosperity of the country, then you shouldn't benefit from the prosperity of the country. These
00:07:21.840 people should start getting cut off if they don't want to get out of the way. And all this does is
00:07:28.500 reinforce my idea that we need Alberta independence here, folks. Every time something like this happens,
00:07:34.060 we're going to find out on Thursday if we actually get a pipeline. I have a feeling Eby will trot the
00:07:39.060 same people out next week and say, no pipeline. But it just reinforces my idea that it's time to vote
