00:03:02.580 I don't know. They make enough announcements, the prime minister announcement, Mark Carney and his

00:03:06.460 pet. Danielle Smith do this regularly, and there's a reason why. I'm cynical about this.

00:03:12.460 I question their motives. Isn't it interesting that they decided to roll this out on October

00:03:18.260 1st? And they did this months ago. It's all been planned out to try to stop the Alberta

00:03:22.480 independence movement. But we'll move on here. So let's go through the announcements here.

00:03:29.620 So the first announcement would have been on or about November 25th last year, almost a year

00:03:36.200 ago where they signed an MOU. And Mark Carney is good at signing MOUs. Memorandums of Understanding,

00:03:43.140 he signs them all over the world and nothing gets done. So he signed this one with Danielle

00:03:48.780 Smith. And Danielle Smith, you know, I'm getting sick of hearing this woman cackle. 1.00

00:03:59.960 and they signed an agreement that set out a pathway for a pipeline. So November all the way

00:04:07.600 to May to come to an agreement to sign an agreement about setting out a pathway for a pipeline. Then

00:04:14.520 on July 2nd, you'll remember, they rolled out and they announced the route for the pipeline. So this

00:04:19.540 is a few months later. And then October 1st, you heard what they said yesterday. Now, let me take

00:04:25.100 you back to May 15th because this is all calculated, and this is why I'm so cynical, all calculated to

00:04:31.480 stop Alberta independence. Now, you remember in November 25th, we weren't quite sure that we were

00:04:36.000 going to have a petition campaign regarding Alberta independence on November 25th. And just

00:04:41.000 before Christmas, we got a ruling and they changed the law, Bill 14, to allow us to have a petition

00:04:47.560 signing. And then on January the 2nd, we started signing petitions, or at least that was the date

00:04:52.660 it started. So all of these other announcements after the first announcement came while the

00:04:58.480 Alberta independence movement was gaining steam. So on May 15th, Mark Carney said this, and this

00:05:05.320 was all calculated well in advance to try to stop the Alberta independence movement. This is why I'm

00:05:10.640 so cynical, but stay tuned for my conclusion. This is what he said back on May 15th with Danielle

00:05:16.400 Smith. And Canada's commitment to pursue the designation of that proposal as a project of

00:05:22.860 national interest under the Building Canada Act by the 1st of October. So back on May 15th,

00:05:29.560 Mark Carney said that the government of Canada, he's going to reiterate what he said here,

00:05:34.100 would make a decision on whether a pipeline was in the national interest by October 1st. And

00:05:39.560 right on schedule on October 1st, he announces that it's a project of national interest. Here

00:05:44.680 it is on the prime minister's website. What took so long? This is why I'm cynical. What took so

00:05:54.720 long? Couldn't he have done that five, that was almost five months ago. I mean, we've lost five

00:06:00.400 months of actually getting a pipeline between May 15th and him actually declaring it a project of

00:06:06.000 national interest. Let me ask you this, just a question. I don't have to take very much time

00:06:10.560 listening for your answer, but do you think a pipeline is in the national interest of the

00:06:14.720 country? You could probably come up with a decision on that in about two seconds.

00:06:20.480 I mean, Mark Carney makes decisions on this kind of stuff all the time. It's in the national
