00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 334 a.m. Friday, January the 2nd. Hope you're
00:00:08.840 having a great start to your Friday morning and a great start to your new year. And if
00:00:12.940 you haven't been to the channel yet, happy new year to you and yours here with the big
00:00:17.220 blue mug of coffee. Of course, it's going to be with me all year long on what could
00:00:21.300 be one hell of a roller coaster ride this year. I think I said just last week or the
00:00:27.220 week before that 2025 was the most interesting year politically in my lifetime and I'm going
00:00:34.020 on 61 next month. But this one could take the cake. So buckle up, folks. This one might
00:00:39.480 be absolutely insane. And by the way, if you're here and you haven't subscribed to the channel,
00:00:45.380 I'm looking to get to 50,000. Wouldn't that be something? I'm at 43,000 subscribers right
00:00:50.620 now. If you could click on subscribe, I would really appreciate it. And remember, clicking
00:00:54.800 on the big blue mug does not subscribe you to this channel. Thank you very much.
00:00:59.600 So everybody's speculating what's going to happen in the new year. I see Brian Lilly on
00:01:04.000 Toronto Sun this morning. Great video here. Him talking about will Polyev be Canada's prime
00:01:08.760 minister in 2026? I'm wondering if he's going to last to the end of the month. I'm on record
00:01:14.220 as saying that. I don't know that Polyev is going to make it through his leadership review
00:01:17.120 this month. If another one or two conservatives walk across the aisle just prior to that convention
00:01:24.240 they're having here in Calgary, I think it could be curtains for Pierre Polyev. And I
00:01:27.900 think that would be a sad thing for Canada. But looking forward myself, and I brought this
00:01:32.460 up before, and I think it's been more than a month, that are you really understanding how
00:01:38.320 fractured Canada is right now? And I'm talking to the people who vote Liberal. I watch what
00:01:46.220 happens on X, and I don't go on X a lot, but I try to follow along with the people who support
00:01:52.100 Mark Carney and the Liberals. And are you paying attention to what's actually going on right
00:01:55.800 now? You know, Carney and the Liberals ran on Canada Strong.
00:02:00.820 To build Canada Strong. Canada Strong. Canada Strong. And ask yourself the question if you've
00:02:09.280 been around as long as me, or maybe at least for a couple of election campaigns, is Canada
00:02:15.520 really strong right now? I think it's the weakest it's been in my lifetime. I mean, all the telltale
00:02:23.040 signs are there. Are you not paying attention, Liberal voters? The Liberal Party has made your country
00:02:28.260 very weak. And you're all patriotic about Canada. Yeah, you keep voting to make the country weaker
00:02:34.600 and weaker and weaker. You know, I look over here at this X account, which you should follow.
00:02:41.100 This is the rise of Alberta. Now, you may say this is a little bit Alberta-centric, but you should be
00:02:47.100 paying attention to what's going on here. By 2030, we might be looking at a very different Canada.
00:02:52.380 In the fall of 2026, Alberta will hold its independence referendum right as Quebec's election
00:02:57.820 likely brings the PQ to power with their own push for a referendum. There will be a Quebec election in
00:03:05.040 October of this year, and a separatist group is likely to win. Now, they're saying right now that
00:03:11.640 there's about 36% of Quebecers that want Quebec to leave the province, which, interestingly enough,
00:03:18.200 is about the same amount that they're saying are wanting to leave here in Alberta. I think that number
00:03:23.320 is higher. And today marks a milestone for the Alberta independence movement, as Mitch Sylvester said
00:03:30.540 on my channel just before Christmas. What is January 2nd? I read that date yesterday. What's
00:03:35.700 the significance of that? Well, January 2nd is when Elections Alberta is going to be able to start
00:03:40.540 certifying or approving our canvassers. So what we're asking Alberta Prosperity and everybody
00:03:46.320 is by tomorrow morning, we're going to have a link. We actually would like to have everybody
00:03:51.280 in Alberta be a canvassers.
00:03:53.540 Very soon, people in Alberta will be able to sign a petition to get a question, a referendum,
00:04:00.340 later this year on Alberta leaving Canada. That's one piece of the puzzle right now.
00:04:07.540 Now, if we go back over to Rise of Alberta, Saskatchewan's independence movement will be heating up.
00:04:13.700 And if Alberta leaves, Saskatchewan will likely follow within the year.
00:04:18.960 Here's the head of the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project on my channel. Here's Brad Williams.
00:04:24.100 You know, a new nation, you know, creating a new country. We always hear that, oh, we can't do it
00:04:28.740 because of this. We can't do it because of that. Every country, every country that's ever existed
00:04:33.520 started just like this. People who want to change, people who want something better.
00:04:39.100 And, you know, the people are scared. They've got lots of concerns, questions. What happens to CPP?
00:04:43.960 What about being landlocked? All these questions. Well, we have the answers. Come out to a meeting.
00:04:47.880 That's how you'll find those answers. If you think right now in your head that you want to stay in Canada,
00:04:53.320 I have a question for you. Name me one good reason, one benefit for us to stay in Canada.
00:04:59.160 I can't think of one that we can't do on our own.
00:05:01.320 But Saskatchewan is the second piece of the puzzle in this Canada Strong. And here's an
00:05:08.360 interesting fact for you. If Alberta were to leave Canada, for the people sitting on the fence
00:05:14.340 regarding independence, and for the people out east who just don't understand what's going on,
00:05:18.620 you call us a bunch of whiners and you try to ridicule us. If Alberta were to leave, keep our
00:05:24.820 wealth, develop our resources like we know we can, Alberta would be, or could be at least,
00:05:29.740 the richest country per capita on planet Earth. And if Saskatchewan came with us, we would be
00:05:36.360 unstoppable. And then you've got Quebec, which is also talking about leaving. So three pieces of
00:05:42.040 the puzzle of your Canada Strong are leaving. If we leave the territories out of this and we just
00:05:47.240 take the provinces, 30% of the provinces in the country right now are talking about leaving.
00:05:52.100 See how weak the country is? You voted for this.
00:05:59.860 You voted for this on April the 28th. Now, if we go back over to Rise of Alberta,
00:06:04.220 I don't know that you've been paying attention to what's going on in British Columbia right now.
00:06:08.500 But as Rise of Alberta says, as for BC, the Cowichan decision is eroding property rights so drastically
00:06:15.300 that they face two choices, either a near-impossible constitutional amendment or leaving Canada
00:06:22.500 altogether to protect their landowners. That's four pieces of the puzzle in your Canada Strong.
00:06:29.400 You see how weak Canada is right now, Liberal voters? This is not Canada Strong. This is unprecedented.
00:06:35.620 You've got four provinces out of ten right now, almost half of them, with three of them wanting
00:06:44.900 to leave with strong independence movements and another one that's falling apart because of bad
00:06:49.300 left-wing government. People are worried about their land out there, their property rights. This is not
00:06:54.980 healthy. And you continue to hold on to Canada Strong. I watched a video of an Ontario Liberal politician.
00:07:02.960 They're trying to use this too, moving forward, because the Liberal Party is lagging behind Doug
00:07:08.340 Ford and the Conservatives. They're trying to play up the patriotism thing. You know, Brad Williams from
00:07:12.740 the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project asks a good question. Give me one good reason why we should stay
00:07:17.140 in Canada. I always ask the question, if Alberta wasn't part of Canada, would we join? And there's no
00:07:25.320 damn way we would join right now. But I would add something to what Brad says. Because I expect a lot
00:07:30.560 of questions over the next 10 to 12 months in my province of Alberta, where people ask me,
00:07:35.440 well, give me one good reason why Alberta should leave. And I got at least 20 of them. Really good
00:07:39.700 ones. I'm not going to get into them now. You'll hear them over the next 10 to 12 months. But I would
00:07:44.800 add to what Brad has to say. Because Canada is fracturing. It's falling apart. It's breaking up.
00:07:49.880 This is unprecedented. It is not strong. Give me one good reason why Alberta or Saskatchewan or Quebec
00:07:57.640 should stay in Canada and don't use patriotism. Because that's not good enough.
00:08:05.900 And that's all I'm going to hear. And that's all I'm hearing from the people who say, I'm a whiner
00:08:10.380 online. You don't understand what's going on out here. And you're not paying attention
00:08:14.780 to the fracturing of your country. It is falling apart. Are you paying attention? Mitch Sylvester said,
00:08:23.340 Alberta's not leaving Canada. Canada left us. And that's the truth.
00:08:27.640 Thank you very much for watching. If you like this video, give it a thumbs up. Subscribe to the
