John Bolton - Canada is BROKEN - It gets more BROKEN every day.... but elbows up.

00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John. Welcome to the channel. Hope you're having a great day today. 4.47 a.m. It is the 10th

00:00:06.260 of May. I've got my big blue mug of coffee. It's Saturday morning. Great day expected here in

00:00:11.680 southern Alberta. 24 in Calgary today. Hope you're getting great weather where you are. You can get

00:00:16.720 outside. Get away from the politics. I'm just a guy in my basement with my big blue mug of coffee

00:00:22.080 who keeps an eye on things generally through the day. But I'm not on this 24 hours a day. But maybe

00:00:27.840 you're feeling like I'm feeling right now. It's like everything's going to shit in this 0.99

00:00:34.320 country, right? It's like one bad thing after another. And it's funny, a bunch of these things 0.99

00:00:40.880 have popped up after the election. If we had known these things during the election campaign,

00:00:47.860 there's a good chance people may have voted a little bit differently and we would have had

00:00:51.760 a different outcome. Now, question for you. Do you remember Pierre Polyef saying Canada

00:00:56.800 is broken? Well, you're probably pretty politically savvy. You've been following things. Of course,

00:01:03.700 you remember him saying Canada is broken. He said it over and over and over again. The liberals

00:01:07.800 loved him saying that because they actually used it against him in the election campaign

00:01:12.560 in an ad. Canada is broken. Canada is broken. It's not the Americans' fault. It's our fault. We're

00:01:22.580 stupid. Everything in Canada is broken. Canada is broken. Everything is broken in Canada. Everything 1.00

00:01:27.880 is broken. Everything is broken. Everything is broken. Everything is broken. Everything is broken.

00:01:34.300 The liberals use that to great effect against Pierre Polyef because they're the elbows up people.

00:01:39.220 Elbows up. That's right.

00:01:43.560 Polyef had a list of things during the election to point out how broken Canada actually is.

00:01:49.860 The question you have to ask is after a decade of liberal promises, can you afford food? Is your

00:01:57.020 housing more affordable than it used to be? What is your cost of living like compared to what it was

00:02:02.660 a decade ago? Polyef's laundry list of things that were broken while we were in the election

00:02:07.580 campaign, but over the last 24 to 36 hours, we've heard that unemployment is on the rise here in

00:02:13.220 Canada. Brian Lilly from the Toronto Sun. We have to acknowledge that the Canadian economy

00:02:18.180 has been weakening for some time. The jobs report that came out Friday showed an unemployment rate of

00:02:23.440 6.9%. That's up from 6.7% last month. Compare that to a year ago, though, we were at 6.1%. April of 2023,

00:02:33.040 we were at 5%. We've been facing a weakening economy for some time. The numbers there show you that things

00:02:40.040 were getting really bad before Donald Trump and his tariffs. Of course, you were told by the prime

00:02:44.720 minister of the country that everything was just fine. Here in Canada, we're actually doing a lot better

00:02:49.720 than the United States of America. Our economy is stronger than the American economy.

00:02:58.440 Everything is broken in Canada. Carney was lying to people during the election campaign to get

00:03:03.480 elected. We're politically savvy. We've seen this graph on the screen so many times. We're not doing

00:03:08.960 well here in Canada. Meanwhile, we've got the head of the Bank of Canada, Tiff Macklem, coming out.

00:03:14.360 Yeah, Trump's tariffs are having an effect on Canada for sure.

00:03:17.740 U.S. trade policy has taken a dramatic protectionist shift. Tariffs and uncertainty

00:03:23.660 have sharply reduced prospects for global economic growth. And financial markets have been rocked by

00:03:29.780 chaotic policy announcements and reversals. But we all know that we wouldn't have this weak hand

00:03:35.460 with the United States of America and Donald Trump if it wasn't for 10 years of mismanagement by the

00:03:40.520 Liberal Party of Canada. Meanwhile, Canadians believe that Mark Carney was the guy best to deal

00:03:45.980 with Donald Trump when it came to the tariffs. And then this happened the other day.

00:03:49.900 Is there anything he can say to you in the course of your meetings with him today that

00:03:53.820 would get you to lift tariffs on Canada? No. Elbows up. That's right.

00:04:01.060 Everything is broken in Canada. And just a quick reminder, don't forget to like this video

00:04:05.460 and subscribe. Thanks. Instead of voting for change in the last election, we're going to get more of

00:04:11.180 the same woke nonsense and DEI garbage from Mark Carney as we got from Justin Trudeau.

00:04:17.460 Because it's 2015. 0.77

00:04:19.360 The country is being warned spending more money will not be good for the economy,

00:04:23.240 but the great economist Mark Carney is going to do it anyway.

00:04:27.160 2025, Carney's deficit, $62 billion. 2026, Carney's deficit, $60 billion. 2027, $55 billion. And in

00:04:40.780 2028, $48 billion, folks. That is absolutely gross.

00:04:46.920 Who cares that your grandchildren are going to be responsible for all that

00:04:51.020 extra deficit spending? You got a big house, you got a boat, you got money in the bank,

00:04:56.720 you've got a pension. Oh, elbows up, right?

00:04:59.540 Elbows up! Elbows up! Elbows up! Elbows up! Elbows up! 0.96

00:05:05.680 Everything is broken in Canada.

00:05:07.260 It's not just the economy that proves that Canada is broken. We now have one, two,

00:05:12.960 three provinces that are talking about separation.

00:05:16.920 A recent poll by the Enveronics Institute found that 53% of Saskatchewan residents agree with the

00:05:23.000 statement, Western Canada gets so few benefits from being part of Canada that it might as well go it

00:05:28.960 on its own.

00:05:29.680 However, if there is a successful citizen-led referendum petition that is able to gather the

00:05:36.040 requisite number of signatures requesting such a question to be put on a referendum, our government

00:05:42.520 will respect the democratic process and include that question on the 2026 provincial referendum

00:05:48.600 ballot as well.

00:05:49.680 But it's theirs to decide if they want to, uh, vindicate the right to self-determination.

00:06:00.120 I would never interfere in that. It belongs to them. I would like us to be the first.

00:06:05.160 I could go on, but you get the point. It is the weekend. Go out, enjoy yourself, have a barbecue,

00:06:12.040 take your dog for a walk, enjoy your family, and just leave politics behind until Monday morning when

00:06:18.680 you can get depressed once again. Thanks a lot for watching. I do appreciate it. If you liked the video,

00:06:24.440 please give me a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, ring the bell for notifications,

00:06:29.400 and I will see you in the next one.
