00:00:00.040 Hi, it's John. Welcome to the channel. Enjoying a cup of coffee this morning on Wednesday, December the 4th.
00:00:06.400 A number of things come to mind this morning.
00:00:08.740 First off, in Canada, the Liberal Party is going to face a number of confidence votes over the next couple of weeks.
00:00:14.780 I think the first one is coming up on Tuesday.
00:00:17.000 Now, for those of you who aren't from Canada, here's how it works.
00:00:21.240 The Conservative Party is going to go into the House of Commons and put up a vote on the Liberal government.
00:00:27.820 And if enough people vote against the Liberal government when it comes to their motion, the government will fall.
00:00:33.900 And here's what Pierre Pauly, the leader of the Opposition Party in Canada, is going to do.
00:00:39.740 He's using Jagmeet Singh's words against him.
00:00:42.640 Jagmeet Singh is the leader of the New Democrat Party here in Canada.
00:00:47.280 And Singh has been propping up Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for a couple of years now and keeping him in power.
00:00:54.740 Now, Singh is very critical of what Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party have been doing.
00:00:59.520 But his pension will come due in February.
00:01:01.720 If he can last in the House of Commons until February, he's guaranteed his pension because he's been in the House of Commons long enough to collect.
00:01:09.000 And I think it's $2.5 million in pension payouts before he dies.
00:01:14.200 So that's why he's still there.
00:01:15.840 Now, Jagmeet Singh is a very rich man.
00:01:18.120 He is a champagne socialist.
00:01:20.400 He rolls around in a Maserati and wears Rolexes.
00:01:22.740 So just think that's who Jagmeet Singh is.
00:01:25.020 So what they're doing is they're using Jagmeet Singh's words against him in order to get the NDP to vote against the Liberal government and bring down the government to force an election.
00:01:36.120 And basically what they're doing is saying the following in their motion, in their confidence vote, coming up this week.
00:01:42.740 The House agrees with the leader of the NDP and the House declares that it has lost confidence in the Prime Minister and the government.
00:01:48.940 Now, what are the words that Jagmeet Singh said?
00:01:52.480 He said, the Liberals are too weak, too selfish, and too beholden to corporate interests to fight for people.
00:01:59.620 And I agree with that 100%.
00:02:01.260 One of the few things I agree with Jagmeet Singh.
00:02:04.540 I'm at a point now here in Canada, and I've said it before, I used to think that regardless of the government we had in Canada,
00:02:11.700 that I think they were trying to do the best for what the people need in our country.
00:02:17.640 I mean, I remember when Jean Chrétien was elected as the Liberal Prime Minister here in Canada back in 1993.
00:02:24.940 Disagreed with his government.
00:02:26.240 He was in power for years before Stephen Harper won here in Canada, a Conservative.
00:02:30.960 But at least I thought the Liberals had what's best in mind for Canadians.
00:02:35.140 I don't think government does that now, and I think that's true of most governments.
00:02:40.640 They do what's best for them, and they do what's best for covering their ass.
00:02:44.920 Just look at what Biden did by pardoning his son over in the United States.
00:02:49.700 That's less about Hunter Biden than it is about Joe Biden.
00:02:52.920 He's covering his ass because he's concerned what's coming in with the Trump administration.
00:02:57.760 So, government doesn't care much about you anymore.
00:03:00.280 They care about themselves.
00:03:01.660 They care about their ideology.
00:03:03.120 It's number one for the Liberal Party in Canada now.
00:03:06.840 I always said that about the NDP, but certainly about the Liberals now.
00:03:11.060 Now, you've heard what is happening when it comes to our border.
00:03:15.700 Donald Trump says he's going to impose 25% tariffs on Canada.
00:03:19.160 If we don't straighten on our border, he's concerned about people and drugs coming across the border.
00:03:23.460 And, of course, Trudeau went down to Mar-a-Lago to talk to Donald Trump.
00:03:28.200 Pierre Pauly, the leader of the opposition here, says that Trudeau came away weak, looking weak,
00:03:32.380 didn't achieve anything, and is still talking up the fact that he needs to be the prime minister
00:03:36.120 to deal with Donald Trump, to negotiate with Donald Trump.
00:03:40.540 And now Trudeau is saying to Pauly, you need to watch what you're saying because you could make Canada weaker.
00:03:47.200 And what was the word he used?
00:03:49.640 Amplify erroneous narratives by the U.S. administration.
00:03:53.040 But what Mr. Trudeau doesn't understand is the narrative is all that matters here.
00:03:57.620 It does not matter what the words are.
00:04:00.100 It does not matter even what the truth is.
00:04:02.760 Even if one person is coming across the border and a single fentanyl pill is coming across the border,
00:04:08.840 that's too much to Donald Trump.
00:04:10.480 And Trudeau needs to understand that.
00:04:12.220 The narrative is the important part here.
00:04:14.080 And, of course, Donald Trump making a joke, I guess,
00:04:16.140 when Trudeau was in Mar-a-Lago about Canada becoming the 51st state.
00:04:20.300 Listen, as somebody who wants Alberta out of Canada,
00:04:23.660 I am a Wexiteer, Western exit person.
00:04:26.620 I believe in separatism.
00:04:27.920 I want Alberta gone.
00:04:29.480 If Alberta was not part of Canada right now, I wouldn't join.
00:04:33.780 It's an absolute dumpster fire, is Canada.
00:04:36.380 So, as far as becoming the 51st state of the United States,
00:04:40.220 I don't necessarily agree with that.
00:04:41.980 But if we do become the 51st state of the United States,
00:04:44.980 I want to make sure I'm first in line to get my weapon
00:04:47.200 because I believe in self-defense and we have none here in Canada.
00:04:50.300 And finally, we haven't even reached the day
00:04:55.040 where the GST holiday comes in here in Canada,
00:04:58.020 which I think is around the 14th, 15th of December.
00:05:00.540 And this, according to the National Post,
00:05:02.560 GST holiday flops.
00:05:04.500 Majorities say it's not much help,
00:05:07.000 purely electoral as liberal popularity drops.
00:05:11.640 This is not going over well.
00:05:13.520 It's going over like a fart in a windstorm.
00:05:15.540 I'm concerned.
00:05:18.440 I mentioned this before here on my channel.
00:05:21.340 We're a long way out from election here in Canada.
00:05:25.300 You know, when you're talking 11, 12 months down the road,
00:05:27.460 the election is coming,
00:05:28.420 and Trudeau is trying these Hail Mary moves already
00:05:31.120 of trying to give people a break on GST,
00:05:33.740 which is only going to build our deficit
00:05:35.280 by about $6 to $7 billion.
00:05:36.960 If they throw in the $250 check,
00:05:39.300 which we're expecting to get,
00:05:40.500 I think that will get voted down now,
00:05:42.000 which is a good thing at this point.
00:05:43.660 But this is frightening to me.
00:05:45.780 If Trudeau is willing to try to roll the dice this far out,
00:05:49.560 what's he going to do prior to the election?
00:05:52.640 How much more of your money is he going to use
00:05:54.980 to bribe you for your vote?
00:05:57.000 And how much will it cost the Canadian taxpayer?
00:05:59.880 Thanks for watching.
00:06:00.860 I appreciate it.
00:06:01.800 Talk to you later.
00:06:02.360 Thank you.
