00:01:14.620 says to expect austerity and investment in upcoming fall budget. Now, this isn't an unusual
00:01:19.680 thing from Mark Carney. We heard all about this during the election campaign. You may remember
00:01:25.640 him saying something like this. I have a simple rule. Spend less, invest more. Spend less, invest
00:01:32.460 more. I talked about this a lot prior to the election campaign. Spend less, invest more
00:01:37.300 means spend. Spend, spend, spend. Spend your money. If you spend less and invest more, you're
00:01:43.080 just spending more money. And it's a lot of money. But let's read a little of this story
00:01:50.220 right here. On a warm, sunny Wednesday morning in Toronto's North York, Prime Minister Mark Carney
00:01:56.520 said the A word. Most politicians balk at pronouncing. Carney revealed that austerity
00:02:04.960 was on the menu for his government's first budget this fall, while speaking to reporters
00:02:09.180 before chairing a two-day cabinet retreat in Toronto. It's an austerity and investment budget.
00:02:14.300 Remember, we didn't get a budget. Now we're going to get an austerity and investment budget
00:02:18.400 at the same time. This is sucking and blowing at the same time. And that's possible if we're
00:02:23.520 disciplined, Carney said in French. We can do both and we will do both. How much money are

00:03:02.720 It's gross and it's your money and he's going to spend it. And the problem is we don't have any
00:03:07.800 extra money coming in because we've got nothing. We've got no growth in our economy because we can't

00:03:18.440 who are in control of what happens in this country when it comes to prosperity. These people who should
00:03:23.880 look at people like me and think of us as their benefactors because these people can't take care
00:03:28.380 of themselves without $36 billion of taxpayers' money and they still can't take care of themselves.
00:03:34.240 But now they're being shakedown artists because people like Mark Carney and the Liberal Party
00:03:38.320 are giving them control over our natural resources in this country. They've got the veto along with
00:03:43.940 the provinces. And that's why my province of Alberta wants the hell out. First Nations leaders
00:03:48.700 meet in Winnipeg to discuss major infrastructure projects. Listen to this. The countrywide push for
00:03:54.460 major projects won't happen without First Nations at the table. The Assembly of First Nations warned
00:03:59.800 government and industry Wednesday as its annual summer gathering began in Winnipeg.
00:04:04.240 Here's the shakedown, folks. Check this out. The Assembly recently put forth a pre-budget submission
00:04:09.520 to the federal government recommending $800 million over the next two years to support a First Nations
00:04:16.000 review of national interest projects. These Einsteins want $800 million of your money so they can decide
00:04:23.480 on what gets done in this country. This is insanity. Insanity.

00:05:19.640 annualized 27% drop in exports. Business investment fell and annualized 10.1% last one out. Turn off the
00:05:28.440 lights. The one growth area was government spending, which soared 5% while the economy
00:05:34.280 shrank. Bureaucrats recession proved since 1867. So this goes on for four minutes and it just gets
00:05:41.880 worse and worse and worse. If you're a Canadian, you're falling behind in a big way. We used to make
