00:01:47.980 this story. Now, this is the story, this is from the BBC. Mark Carney says he has considered

00:01:53.360 possibility of U.S. military action against Canada. Okay. Let me make it a little bit bigger

00:02:02.240 for you just so you can see it. Let's do that. There we go. Okay. So I'm not going to read a

00:02:06.820 lot of this story. So Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has considered the remote possibility

00:02:10.700 of U.S. military action against Canada, according to an interview with the New York Times. Carney

00:02:15.660 told the Times that his administration has carefully examined the extreme tail risk scenario

00:02:21.940 where the U.S. takes military action against his country and had prepared accordingly without

00:02:27.480 providing further detail. I think you have a responsibility in these roles to look at extreme

00:02:33.080 tail risk, Carney told the Times. That's just risk management. That's not a base case, but it would

00:02:39.960 be irresponsible not to prepare. So Mark Carney and the Canadian government, the brains that run

00:02:46.560 the Canadian government. Okay. And I use brains as a loose term for these people. Okay. They're

00:02:53.660 preparing for the United States to attack Canada. Here's another article right here in the Calgary

00:02:59.000 Sun. Carney prepared for risk that Trump might order U.S. to invade Canada. That's just risk

00:03:05.260 management. Now, a lot of people have commented on this story and you probably haven't had a

00:03:09.900 chance to think about it and you think this is nuts. But here's what I thought. When I heard

00:03:17.600 that Mark Carney was preparing for the Canadian military to fight the U.S. military. Now, I'm

00:03:25.200 going to give you 10 seconds to think about this. Get a vision in your head. Think of a thumbnail

00:03:29.960 you could put on my video if it were only about this story that we're talking about right now.

00:03:35.880 think about that. I'm going to give you 10 seconds and I'll come back and tell you what I thought

00:03:41.680 about. So you've thought about your thumbnail and I'm going to show you mine in just a moment.

00:03:55.520 Now, before I show it to you, I just want to say this. This is no slight on the Canadian military,

00:04:01.400 the people in the Canadian military. When I say thank you for your service, I truly mean that.

00:04:08.220 So thank you very much for your service. If you have volunteered to be in the Canadian military,

00:04:12.900 but it's no secret that the Canadian military is rather pitiful. Imagine the Canadian military

00:04:18.880 going up against the might of the United States of America. Imagine that. And the fact that Mark

00:04:26.280 Carney had to think more than one moment about this, or he had to get the brains in Ottawa,

00:04:30.900 law or the Canadian government to actually spend time thinking about this, I don't understand it

00:04:37.020 because this is what I thought about as soon as I heard this story. Is this the kind of thing you

00:04:43.560 were thinking about? Because I thought about this instantly. The Canadian military wouldn't last more

00:04:48.340 than five minutes against the might of the United States of America. And that anybody in the

00:04:53.380 government is thinking more than 10 seconds about this, I find it quite astounding. And that Mark

00:04:58.180 Carney would say that with a straight face to the New York Times. Now there's this article right

00:05:02.560 here, which is actually more serious, that didn't get more play than the ridiculousness of the fact

00:05:07.800 that Mark Carney and the government is thinking about an attack by the United States on Canada.

00:05:13.280 But there's this article here, Brian Lilly, Mark Carney's currency comments risk more

00:05:17.800 than trade repercussions. He challenged the US dollar's global status in that same article with

00:05:24.340 the New York Times. And as Lilly says, it may complicate efforts to end American terrorists

00:05:29.060 and protect Canadian jobs. And Mark Carney at this point is just poking the bear. He's poking

00:05:34.060 Donald Trump because it plays to his base. Now, actually, let me just go back to this. There's

00:05:38.320 a poll in here. And let me just show you this poll quickly. According to this poll, now the

00:05:43.860 poll is, do you worry U.S. President Donald Trump could launch military action against Canada? 16%

00:05:49.640 on the Calgary Sun website, now this isn't scientific, say they're worried about this.

00:05:54.040 These people walk amongst us, folks. That's a frightening thought. Now, this next story,

00:06:00.820 okay, is satire. But the story right after it is not satire. Now, the first story is ridiculous.

00:06:40.780 by assisted S, they mean totally unsolicited murder. Okay. And again, this is sad that we're

00:06:47.000 joking about this because this is a very serious story. And I just want to say this.

00:07:00.160 it is. And I was totally fine with their decision on this because of the circumstances, but this is

00:07:05.860 happening far too much. Okay. Speaking at the UN this week, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney

00:07:11.920 clarified their medical assistance in dying MAID program, explaining that by assisted S,

00:07:18.000 they mean completely unsolicited murder. There's been a lot of confusion about our healthcare

00:07:23.900 program, and I see now the fault is ours, Carney said. You see, by assisted S, we actually mean

00:07:29.920 killing whoever we feel like, eh? Now listen to this. At publishing time, President Trump had 0.94

00:07:42.080 ordered Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to draft up a set of murder tariffs to put in place for

00:07:48.920 Canada. Oh my God, I love it. But this next story, I'm going to let you read this, okay? I'm going

00:08:01.400 going to bring it up on the screen. This is true. Now, you just read a story that was making fun of

00:08:08.140 a very serious topic, satire, and you're probably laughing about it. This is true.

00:09:57.260 $70 billion a year. And then there's this. I mean, did you hear that there's an election going on in

00:10:04.240 British Columbia? Did you hear that David Eby, the premier, has called an election in BC? You knew

00:10:10.240 this, two years in advance, thinking he can get a massive majority out of this. And it's possible.

00:10:21.280 people out there. They don't think right. They think emotionally. And that's what David Eby is

00:10:26.220 depending on. He wants them to think emotionally and not logically. British Columbia is a basket

00:10:37.800 projects. We are the province with the most major projects, more than any other province in the

00:10:43.160 country. There's no investment in his projects. It's all your money. Just like there's no

00:10:47.900 investment in a pipeline from Alberta to the British Columbia coast. It's all your money,

00:10:52.920 government money, your money. But David Eby, and it's funny, I was thinking this this morning.

00:10:58.920 David Eby, I was thinking Eby was something, you know, it sounded a little bit like a

00:11:02.440 communicable disease. You know, I got a bad case at EB. So anyway, here's the story. This is from

00:11:14.840 there. I subscribe to the Western Standard. Check this out. BC conservatives lead NDP 43% to 35

00:11:22.020 after snap election call. You know, I keep thinking, and I keep thinking that eventually this

00:11:29.820 trump derangement syndrome and the use of trump for everything people are going to tire of it

00:12:28.760 thing. They're going to run on the state of the economy and the cost of living. But what is David

00:12:35.320 Eby running on? Well, you know, here, I just cut this down from a news conference he did after he

00:12:43.480 called this election. And this was a one minute clip. And listen to what he says four times in

00:12:50.860 one minute. To take a strong stand against Trump, David Eby should comply with Donald Trump. David

00:12:56.720 Eby should comply with Donald Trump. This makes us better able to stand up to Trump. Trump, Trump,

00:13:02.680 Trump, Trump. And as a matter of fact, in the same news conference, one of the issues was putting

00:13:08.320 American booze on British Columbia shelves. This is what we run elections on in this country now,

00:13:14.380 folks. It's nothing serious. And I hate to go over the same ground and sound like a broken

00:13:20.540 record. But how is any of this helping the people of British Columbia? How is any of this kind of

00:13:25.700 stuff talking about the European Union and talking about an invasion by the United States of America

00:13:31.580 helping you? How does it bring down food prices? How does it make life more affordable? This is

00:13:36.400 the way we run elections in this country now. They're doing the same thing in Quebec.

00:13:42.280 And if Mark Carney calls another election, he's going to run on Trump. 1.00
