00:02:34.740 narrative at that point, but that never happened. So Carney really hasn't done anything. He talks
00:02:40.040 a lot, but he doesn't get very much done. There's another thing coming up in just a moment, which
00:02:44.220 is rather distasteful I'm going to talk about, where he talks about things, but he doesn't do
00:02:50.040 anything. And the United States is getting closer to owning us. And it's because of the dithering
00:02:57.380 by Mark Carney and the Liberal Party. And this is all done to effect. It keeps them up in the
00:03:04.580 polls. They win elections this way. More on that in just a moment as well. Let's go over to an
00:03:09.160 article in the National Post today. Trade war was never about sovereignty. And this is what we
00:03:14.880 heard. Carney's red lines for walking away from negotiations keep fading. A week ago,
00:03:20.860 in a spirited, resolute, and bombastic press conference, Prime Minister Mark Carney framed
00:03:24.840 the terror for what the U.S. is nothing less than the survival of Canada. I'm not going to
00:03:29.780 read this whole thing to you. I'll put a link in the description. It is unfortunate that the
00:03:34.320 Liberal government is still refusing to reveal exactly what the U.S. was asking and why Canada
00:03:38.900 have felt unable to accept? What we do know is that of the three examples that Carney cited on
00:03:45.520 that Saturday as being a threat to our sovereignty, one has been settled and may never have been an
00:03:50.780 issue. And we largely appear to agree on a second. The third issue, tariff levels on medium and heavy
00:03:56.640 duty trucks, is an outstanding irritant and a large one. The potential economic harm to Ontario
00:04:02.500 especially is such that it's likely to have always been a red line for Canada. But tariffs on trucks
00:04:08.460 isn't a sovereignty issue. It's a trade one and best dealt with at the negotiating table.
00:04:14.780 Carney told Canadians, we are the masters of our destiny. And you know, I read this in this
00:04:19.440 article this morning, before I move on in this, and I read this in this article this morning, and
00:04:23.380 boy, that has a great ring to it. We're masters of our destiny. But what is your destiny?
00:04:29.780 Doesn't mean it's going to be good. And I think Mark Carney is the master of a pretty bad destiny
00:04:36.240 for Canada, because it can be bad. So let's move on here. Fine, but we are not masters of the U.S.
00:04:43.320 And if they want to impose tariffs, it may be unreasonable, unfair, uneconomic, and ultimately
00:04:48.660 disastrous. But that's what a sovereign nation can do. A week ago, Carney was back at it, ladies

00:05:59.180 somebody else's misfortune. And I'm not getting pleasure from Canada's misfortune here. But
00:06:04.640 I think maybe the more correct thing to say was, I told you so.

00:06:37.740 have been accused of being less Churchillian and more Shakespearean. Hence, Carney introduced two

00:06:47.300 deals with other countries. These are things to rile up the masses. Well, at least the National
00:06:52.220 Post is finally catching on. You know, I want to go back to something that was said earlier in this
00:06:56.080 article. I've highlighted it here now in red. It is unfortunate that the Liberal government is

00:07:36.180 industrial complex September 15th. 400 unionized workers affected. And down here, just a single
00:07:43.020 line of this story. The closure is as a result of new 50% tariffs on products shipped to the
00:07:49.120 United States. Now, it doesn't say that this plant is moving to the United States, but this is the
00:07:53.780 effect of doing nothing. Back to our other article, we'll just wrap up here at the bottom.
00:07:59.600 It was Carney's decision to call off the trade talks, and presumably he could push for them to
00:08:05.020 restart. And he might do that sooner than later, more than that in just a moment. That he isn't
