00:00:27.340 is not good. I mentioned last night this is exactly what I predicted would happen. He's going to stick

00:00:32.340 around until they pick a new leader. He says he's proroguing government. Governor General says that's

00:00:39.220 okay and it will be prorogued until March 24th. He started off by defending his awful record on things

00:00:45.460 like the pandemic, climate change, the economy and whatnot. It looked like he had a tear in his eye

00:00:50.840 for this, but again, I am not overly thrilled at this. I was watching one of the excellent people

00:00:56.220 who covers government and politics in Canada online. I'm thrilled that he has finally resigned

00:01:03.500 and yeah, I'm glad that he's resigned, but here's the situation and I don't think you're

00:01:07.760 going to hear this right off the top from too many people until they sit down and think about

00:02:35.220 March 24th and we have an interim prime minister who is a lame duck who is seen as very weak and we've

00:02:42.100 got a looming crisis with the United States coming. We're only, what, 14 days away from Donald Trump

00:02:49.700 and his inauguration? He's the new president, tariffs are waiting and other things are very important,

00:02:55.300 have to be taken care of immediately and we've got nobody to deal with the United States government,

00:03:00.100 likely until October because that's when the next election is coming. I am not thrilled at this

00:03:06.420 happening. This is not a great thing. Trudeau goes, yes, happy to see that happen. It's been a long
