00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John, and welcome to the Independence Calendar.
00:00:06.200 It is episode number 29, Sunday, July the 5th.
00:00:10.360 Great to have you here.
00:00:11.580 Busy show this week.
00:00:13.180 Lots of stuff coming up. 0.98
00:00:14.480 I have a mystery singer on the show.
00:00:17.800 I need your help with that.
00:00:19.180 I'm going to play a short clip of the mystery singer,
00:00:21.480 and then at the end, the whole thing.
00:00:23.220 It's fantastic.
00:00:24.580 Not great video, but awesome audio.
00:00:27.180 out. So maybe you can help me out to find the mystery singer. Also, we've got a lot of pictures
00:00:32.860 from you of signs this week. Thank you so much for sending them to me at johnboltonab at gmail.com.
00:00:38.920 Lots of pictures this week. I'm going to call out somebody this week on the independence calendar.
00:00:45.740 It's getting serious, folks. Wade College in Sylvan Lake. I'm calling you out. I'm calling
00:00:52.540 you out. It's coming up on the independence calendar. I've got a great interview coming
00:00:56.860 up with the Albertans for Freedom, a new third-party advertiser. By the way, if I haven't got to
00:01:01.620 you yet to interview you, if you're a third-party advertiser, I plan on getting to you. And we'll
00:01:07.060 tell you about some of the great events coming up. And there are some fantastic things coming up
00:01:11.160 as we get into the dog days of summer, things that you can take part in. All of that coming up
00:01:15.840 on the Independence Calendar. Let's take a look at some of the things that are actually happening
00:01:23.460 over the next week and a little bit beyond as well that you can take part in. There are events
00:01:28.340 happening all the time. If you've got an event, put event coming up or something like that in
00:01:34.560 the subject matter and send it to johnboltonab at gmail.com. We've got this from my friend Tyson
00:01:40.000 up in Edmonton. Flag wave, slow roll. This is actually happening today, July 5th from one until
00:01:46.220 four. You can be part of one of these things. Let me go over to myself on the screen as well. The
00:01:51.380 Flag Wavers can meet at Collingwood Road and the Anthony Henday Overpass, 1 until 4 today.
00:01:57.740 And the Convoy in Atchison, 266th Street and 114th Avenue side road.
00:02:05.060 And they're leaving just around 140 this afternoon, so you can check that out.
00:02:09.200 Now let's go over to this event right here that is coming up this week.
00:02:11.820 I will be at this as well.
00:02:13.680 This should be a lot of fun.
00:02:14.980 We've got Derek Fildebrandt from the Western Standard, and he will be debating Dwayne Bratt.
00:02:20.020 Dwayne on the opposite side of the independence movement. Tickets available here. I'll put a link
00:02:25.540 in the description if you'd like to go to that. I will be at this event as well. Thanks to my
00:02:29.980 friend Angela Tabak for sending me tickets to this. There's this coming up as well. I'm going
00:02:35.100 to be at this a week from today, Sunday, July the 12th. I actually put a little promo together on
00:02:41.220 this and I thought it might be fun to take a look at it again. Hi, it's John and welcome to my
00:02:47.400 kitchen, welcome to the Bolton household. Just in the kitchen today doing a little practicing
00:02:52.680 for an upcoming event on Sunday, July the 12th at Ranchman's with Let Alberta Decide. A terrific 0.97
00:02:59.580 breakfast is coming up. More details on how you can be part of it in just a moment. I've got my
00:03:05.000 spatula, I've got my syrup, I've got my nose stick spray, and I've got my pancake batter. So let's get
00:03:12.500 cooking. I have to say I really like being in the kitchen cooking. I am more comfortable outside
00:03:25.920 on the barbecue and I don't have a lot of experience flipping pancakes, but let's give it a try.
00:03:31.860 Oops.
00:03:39.460 You're invited to the Stampede Breakfast with Let Alberta Decide, Sunday, July 12th at 9 a.m. at Ranchman's 9615 McLeod Trail South in Calgary.
00:03:50.340 Go to LetAlbertaDecide.com and reserve your spot today.
00:03:54.780 Just click on Stampede Breakfast.
00:03:57.160 And while you're there, watch out for flying pancakes.
00:04:01.860 so i'll see you at that that was a lot of fun to make now we'll go over to this of course our
00:04:11.220 friends at let's talk alberta very busy they've got events happening all the time you know it
00:04:15.780 might be a little slower through the summertime i don't know it all depends on how they book these
00:04:19.680 events but if you go to let's out talk alberta.com here are some of the events that are coming up
00:04:24.480 that you can take part in caster high river nanton cowley this one on wednesday july the 8th
00:04:30.840 July 22nd, July 23rd, and Friday, July the 24th.
00:04:35.580 And then, of course, there is this event coming up,
00:04:38.300 which I'm going to mention many times over the next little while.
00:04:41.400 This is the Telethon for Independence, Saturday, July the 18th, 11 to 11,
00:04:46.660 with The Fringe, talking to Albertans, Chris Scott,
00:04:49.140 Berta Proud Dad, Igor, Mitch Sylvester, many others still working on this.
00:04:52.920 A lot of work needs to be done.
00:04:54.900 I'm a little nervous about it coming together,
00:04:57.200 but we do need a lot of money, and you can help out.
00:05:00.340 and donate for sure. All right, let's get down to business when it comes to signs and a few rules
00:05:07.020 here, okay? I don't want to see a picture of a sign sitting on a lawn with grass and behind it.
00:05:12.680 I know what all the signs look like. In front of your house, terrific. With you, even better. Or
00:05:18.420 standing with the person who handed you the sign, that's fantastic. Not that I don't want to see
00:05:23.380 your signs, but I've seen all the signs. I own most of the signs, which I'm going to show you
00:05:28.060 in just a moment. The other thing is I'm doing this a little differently. I have to tell you,
00:05:32.080 I was having an anxiety attack going through the pictures this week because during the petition
00:05:37.620 campaign, it was very time consuming getting all those pictures together the way I did it.
00:05:43.080 So I'm doing things differently this week to make it easier. And I think it might be a little bit
00:05:47.840 more interesting for you as well. So here is me with my signs in front of my house. I've now got
00:05:52.540 five of them there. Okay. I've got, this would be Albertans for Freedom. This would be Angela
00:05:59.360 Tabak, Kathy Flett, the Alberta Women for Independence. Let's Talk Alberta, Chris Scott,
00:06:04.000 Our Future, Our Vote, Jason Levine, and Corey Morgan's sign with Choose Alberta. Now I do have
00:06:08.800 another sign. I picked one up yesterday. I'm up to six. This is Sheila Gunn-Reed's sign. So I'm
00:06:13.900 going to put that in front of the house. I think I'm going to have to go two-tiered out there. Now
00:06:17.520 this is where I'm going to get into a little bit of a beef with Wade Collins in Sylvan Lake in just
00:06:23.040 a moment. I'm going to show you a couple of pictures from Wade and I'm really pissed off
00:06:29.100 with Wade. Okay. So let's go to Karen and Robin in Red Deer. Let me go over to the screen. In fact,
00:06:34.380 what I'll do right now is I'll go to screen with camera. So I'll be on the screen a little bit
00:06:37.720 here. Karen and Robin in Red Deer, they've got a third party advertiser, Free Alberta from Overreach.
00:06:44.940 Free Alberta from overreach.
00:06:46.920 Think of the acronym.
00:06:48.240 Okay, well done.
00:06:50.320 But they're actually a registered third-party advertiser.
00:06:54.120 Thanks for this picture.
00:06:55.080 I really appreciate it.
00:06:56.380 Tyson sent this one to me.
00:06:58.180 Alberta Independence.
00:06:59.420 Fantastic.
00:07:00.060 Got the sign out there, one of Corey's signs.
00:07:01.960 And he's got the flags up as well.
00:07:03.540 I appreciate that, Tyson.
00:07:05.140 Here's Jason with Agnes.
00:07:06.440 Jason Levine and Agnes, our future, our vote.
00:07:09.640 Thanks for that.
00:07:10.400 Love Jason's signs.
00:07:12.080 David sent this in.
00:07:14.120 Beautiful picture up front of the house with the flag as well. One of Cory's signs as well.
00:07:18.400 Now, this is a flag picture, but saving my grandkids from Carney's New World Order. Let me
00:07:23.860 get my face out of the way so you can see the whole thing there. Saving my grandkids from
00:07:28.000 Carney's New World Order. Thanks for that. We do appreciate it. And let's go over to this one now.
00:07:34.060 Let me bring myself up on the screen again. Julie, flags and signs here. Choose Alberta.
00:07:39.960 Some big ones in here.
00:07:41.160 Again, Corey signs.
00:07:42.920 We've got this one.
00:07:44.220 Carrie with a sign, Independent Alberta.
00:07:46.800 Faith, freedom.
00:07:48.260 And usually there's family on there.
00:07:49.560 There's family right there.
00:07:50.600 Thanks a lot for that picture.
00:07:52.200 Also another one from Carrie as well.
00:07:54.580 Thanks, Carrie, for that story.
00:07:55.640 A little bit blurry on that one.
00:07:56.900 It goes full size.
00:07:58.480 Dwayne with a beautiful home here.
00:08:00.260 Dwayne, you need a bigger sign.
00:08:02.440 Put a four by eight out in front of this house, but a beautiful home.
00:08:05.500 Was that called ranch style?
00:08:06.800 Love it.
00:08:07.260 I love the deck as well.
00:08:08.260 Thanks for that.
00:08:09.380 Also, I've got Rob at Jason's Billboard.
00:08:11.640 This would be in Edmonton.
00:08:13.380 Thanks for that.
00:08:14.720 Another one at Jason's Billboard in Edmonton.
00:08:18.400 And let's move down here.
00:08:20.460 Dimitri with signs in his windows.
00:08:22.220 Hey, whatever you can do, put them up.
00:08:24.600 Fantastic.
00:08:25.300 Thanks to Dimitri for that.
00:08:27.120 Here is Jack with the big blue mugs.
00:08:29.680 Jack, big thumbs up to you.
00:08:31.500 I tip my big blue mug to you today.
00:08:33.760 Thank you very much.
00:08:34.780 Another one of Corey's signs.
00:08:36.340 Corey's been out there doing great work.
00:08:37.900 absolutely incredible. Now I want to tell you about this. Now this is not a picture
00:08:41.700 of a sign or a flag, but my two friends here, this is Brad and his son. Okay. So they are wearing,
00:08:51.160 I support Alberta independence t-shirts here and they're at a Canada day event. So they sent me a
00:08:57.180 little message saying they got accosted while they were there and they were told they should
00:09:01.060 not be able to wear those shirts at a Canada day event. But apparently one of the people at the
00:09:06.480 Canada Day event stood up for them and said they have freedom of speech. They were actually called
00:09:10.900 communists. Thanks for sending that picture to me, Brad. I do appreciate it. Now, James,
00:09:16.220 here with a Choose Alberta sign, wherever you can put your sign, you probably don't have a front
00:09:21.740 lawn. Thanks for sending that in. I do appreciate it. Now, I'm going to come back to this one in
00:09:26.740 just a moment. I'm going to play this one. It's a video. I'm going to play it in its entirety.
00:09:31.340 The video quality isn't great, but I want to know who this woman is. I'm going to tell you about her
00:09:35.860 in just a moment. Here's my friend, Wade. Okay. So this is Wade up in Sylvan Lake. Now, Wade,
00:09:43.160 look into my eyes, Wade. I'm calling you out, man. I'm calling you out, buddy.
00:09:51.760 Now, you saw the picture off the front. I've got five signs. I've now got this one. I got
00:09:58.380 Sheila Gunn's Reed's, Sheila Gunn Reed's sign right here. Now, Wade hasn't got this sign,
00:10:04.420 but count Wade's signs. He's got seven. Wade, trying to keep out in front of me with the sign
00:10:12.560 numbers here. I'm looking for more signs, folks. I need more signs. I got to beat Wade. Now,
00:10:16.860 Wade's got a lot of signs on his property in Sylvan Lake, but Wade, I'm coming for you, buddy.
00:10:21.800 I'm coming for you. I am. Here's Wade's signs right here. One, two, three, four, five. He's
00:10:27.900 got eight out here now. He's got eight signs. I'm two behind. I need more signs, folks.
00:10:32.140 and if you can help me, let me know. Okay. And here's more Wade's one. It's still one, two,
00:10:38.220 three, four, five, six, seven. He's got nine signs. He's up by three now. Wade, I'm coming for you,
00:10:44.060 my friend. I'm coming for you. I'll come up to Sylvan Lake to steal some of your signs if you're
00:10:48.560 not careful. Okay. So this is Sandra handing out Corey Morgan signs in Lethbridge. Beautiful.
00:10:54.940 Thanks so much. Great picture, by the way. Don't you love the blue? I just love this flag. We are
00:11:01.800 so lucky. We have the best flag in the world, folks. I don't think you can get that when you
00:11:06.960 use emojis on Android and Apple. We need an Alberta flag emoji. Okay, what do we got down
00:11:13.060 here? This would be DJ sending in this one with one of those huge signs of Corey Morgan's. Thanks
00:11:18.320 so much for DJ. Also, this is, okay, so these are interesting. Now, what do you notice about these
00:11:23.780 pictures? Okay, so let me just go back here. This would, Bill sent these in to me. Okay, so do you
00:11:30.420 see this little character right here? Actually, when I was at the debate between Keith Wilson and
00:11:34.740 Jason Kenney, Bill came up to me. They have this little Thomas Lukasik gnome, right? You can see
00:11:40.460 the gnome here. And there's one right there. Here's the fringe with the gnome. Here is, oh,
00:11:46.980 there's the gnome over here as well. I think there's another one. Let me go over here. Yeah,
00:11:51.620 there you go. There's the gnome right there. So thanks a lot for sending in these gnome pictures.
00:11:56.280 Oh, and I think there's another one right here. There's Jason Levine with his sign and the
00:12:00.400 little gnome. So thanks for sending in the pictures with the gnome. I'd like to see the one that got
00:12:04.660 taken of me when I was at that debate. It'd be really cool to see. Okay, this would be Richard
00:12:10.140 with Alberta Nation signs. Thank you so much. I haven't got this sign either. I appreciate that.
00:12:15.100 Thanks very much. I'd like to see that. Bruce and Chris, great picture here with one of Jason's
00:12:19.960 signs. Big one as well. Beautiful signs. Again, that beautiful blue. Fantastic. This would be
00:12:26.060 Bonnie, who sent this in. Faith, family, and freedom. Thanks, Bonnie, for that. I do appreciate
00:12:30.840 it. Richard, with this tiny little sign, but fantastic, representing. I appreciate that from
00:12:36.220 Richard. I wanted to show you this. This is an iconic picture. I'm going to take my face out of
00:12:42.060 the way for this one, okay? I hope I wasn't blocking too much. I want you to see this.
00:12:46.720 look at this picture that is unbelievable and thanks a lot to Tyson for sending that in
00:12:57.780 I wanted to see you to see this one as well okay the sign or the flag on this one it's a flag
00:13:04.480 picture but I thought this is pretty cool because the flag is bigger than the bike
00:13:08.400 all right thanks for that picture and then we've got this of course me with my five signs hopefully
00:13:14.240 I'll see more of them. And I'd like to see more of your pictures. Get me those sign pictures and
00:13:20.060 I'd love to see your faces and we'll feature them on the independence calendar next week. This was
00:13:24.460 much easier for me. Uh, I do appreciate you send me your pictures. If you'd like to get some into
00:13:29.860 me, johnboltonab at gmail.com, put sign picture in the subject. It makes it easier for me to find
00:13:37.040 them. If I didn't have your picture this week, resend it. Sometimes I miss them. I apologize.
00:13:41.700 guys. Oh, I almost forgot. Okay. So I told you I was going to play this video for you. And this
00:13:46.920 was sent to me by Ralph. I don't know who this woman is. I'd like to find out who she is.
00:13:51.300 We've got the independence telethon coming up on July 18th. A lot more information about that
00:13:55.900 coming up very soon. 12 hours to raise money for the third party advertisers. Maybe I can get this
00:14:02.300 woman on the broadcast over those 12 hours on YouTube to play this song for us. I think it
00:14:07.380 would be terrific. Video quality is not great here. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to
00:14:11.520 play a little bit of it for you right now. And then I'm going to play the whole thing in its
00:14:15.320 entirety at the end of this independence calendar. So let's hear a little bit of this. And thanks
00:14:20.500 to Ralph for sending it to me. All right. All right. Okay. Rico, don't wander off.
00:14:27.140 Can you stay with me, Rico?
00:14:31.140 It's raining in Alberta. Got nothing else to do.
00:14:36.360 Got a pen and paper so I'd like to write to you
00:14:42.960 Now's the time to break away from government control
00:14:48.660 We're strong and free Albertans
00:14:52.460 And that's the way we rule
00:14:55.820 Yeah, cause we're taking back our chickens 1.00
00:15:01.000 Cows and ducks
00:15:03.260 We're never eating crickets
00:15:05.960 Thank you very much
00:15:08.300 They've cancelled all our gas and oil
00:15:11.140 Cause that's where they chose
00:15:13.440 And that's the very reason
00:15:16.060 That Alberta 0.52
00:15:18.260 Rose 1.00
00:15:19.720 Who is she?
00:15:25.940 I want to know who she is 1.00
00:15:27.960 So that I can maybe get her 1.00
00:15:30.560 On the Independence Telethon 0.98
00:15:32.400 In a couple of weeks
00:15:33.120 Let me know
00:15:34.400 Thanks a lot to Ralph for sending that to me and well done. Great song. Well done.
00:15:39.040 This is the kind of stuff we need to see and hear. I think this inspires people. So thanks
00:15:42.720 very much for that. Now I want to feature this week's interview. I was out actually,
00:15:47.200 I went out the other day to the UCP Stampede Breakfast. I ended up at the UCP Stampede
00:15:54.480 Breakfast. Keith Wilson ended up there, Tanya Clemens, Jeevan Mangat, my friend Heather Field,
00:16:00.400 a bunch of third party advertisers showed up there. They were welcome. Nobody told them to
00:16:04.260 leave. And I met up with the Albertans for Freedom, which I'm really pleased about. It's sort of the
00:16:09.080 coordinators of the canvassers here in Calgary during the petition campaign. A lot of them
00:16:14.780 got together and they formed a third party advertiser and they're focusing on Calgary.
00:16:19.640 And I spoke to them as we got off to a little picnic table, just away from all the noise at
00:16:25.880 the UCP Stampede Breakfast. So here I am with Brian and Marilyn. That's Brian. That's Marilyn
00:16:32.060 over there. And we're at Avenida right now. The UCP is having a breakfast here, obviously. It's
00:16:38.200 Stampede season. And we've got a number of TPAs here, as I said in the intro. And this is a new
00:16:44.460 one for you, Albertans for Freedom. And maybe, Brian, you can explain to people who's involved
00:16:50.400 with this one. I asked you whether you were the person who started it up, and I guess there's a
00:16:54.020 number of different people sure so the the regional leaders and provincial leader for calgary that was
00:16:58.860 formerly state free alberta decided that we wanted to be involved in reaching calgary for uh now
00:17:05.380 option two so all the regional leaders joined together and created this uh third-party
00:17:10.880 advertiser and uh we're basically the grassroots campaigners workers that are going to be going
00:17:17.680 door to door hopefully three times trying to help convince albertans to vote option two yeah you've
00:17:23.240 got a great sign here did you want to show this to us check this out it's two-sided fantastic yeah
00:17:28.840 show the other side i'm going to flip it around on this side on my front lawn i'll have now have
00:17:32.880 four different uh signs on my lawn i'll probably have six before i'm over this is terrific i really
00:17:39.000 like this sign and it's got great information on there and it's actually a very beautiful sign so
00:17:43.920 thank you extremely popular so is this your is this your plan to put signs up or do you have
00:17:48.660 other things that you'd like to do well we're trying to cover the entire city of calgary
00:17:53.060 yeah and uh we need volunteers we've got pamphlets to distribute we've got signs to go out and um
00:18:01.540 all we need is people come help us we're not collecting signatures now we're actually uh
00:18:06.820 basically meeting with people having conversations stop and talks we're going to be popping uh
00:18:12.340 locations setting up pop-up locations to have conversations and going door to door you know
00:18:17.380 distributing pamphlets and eventually we'll even have a large billboards and other signs up as well
00:18:23.580 so and albertansforfreedom.com is the websites and that's a four not an for so it's a four in
00:18:29.320 there you need donations can they make donations it's fully live the website's good to go and we
00:18:34.340 want volunteers and if you can donations that'd be perfect you know i remember after the petition
00:18:39.220 signing ended i thought you know it would be great to get people out on the side of the road the
00:18:42.360 people that were there for four months collecting you know signatures on petitions um maybe you can
00:18:47.200 get out there on the road and talk to people now and that's your plan i think that's a fantastic
00:18:52.780 idea really well done stop talk we we want to help convince albertans that we're better off
00:18:58.460 having a stronger position in canada as much as we are independent yeah what is it what was the
00:19:03.180 number one thing that got you interested in independence what did i got meters in independence
00:19:09.060 um i've always been a conservative yeah and i guess i was partly shocked by a number of the
00:19:15.520 policies that had come out and effectively when the six or the nine uh bad laws uh this mou when
00:19:24.340 it got dragged out dragged out and then basically became nothing that was when i got involved and
00:19:29.480 started canvassing and you well for me it was the 25 plus billion that alberta sends out that
00:19:36.880 doesn't get back i just can't do this anymore alberta has so many needs and why are we sending
00:19:43.340 our money to ottawa so ottawa can use our money to buy votes for people to vote for the liberal
00:19:49.440 party of canada i'm done it's interesting you talk about the nine bad laws and danielle smith
00:19:54.800 is here today the ucp it's a breakfast here she'll be announcing the pipeline today of course
00:20:00.720 she's been saying that the nine bad laws are gone they aren't gone they are still in place in
00:20:05.280 particularly c69 c48 but yeah i'm she's here today and i appreciate what you're doing here
00:20:10.960 It's a lot of work to do these things.
00:20:12.560 We've heard from Corey Morgan, you know, how onerous the task is to get everything done.
00:20:17.960 So you've got a lot of hands working on this, a lot of people working on it.
00:20:20.480 Well, we're not doing it for ourselves either.
00:20:22.420 A lot of people say it, but it's true.
00:20:24.060 We're doing it for our children.
00:20:25.120 We're doing it for our future.
00:20:26.580 You know, I want them to be in a free and prosperous Alberta.
00:20:29.140 I don't want them to be forced to go to another part.
00:20:31.420 And I don't want to live under tyranny.
00:20:33.440 I just want to end with this.
00:20:34.780 Love your hat.
00:20:35.900 Thank you.
00:20:36.400 And I love your hat.
00:20:37.240 I've been collecting, you know, Alberta hats.
00:20:39.640 I love the black and white one.
00:20:40.740 Very, very cool hat there.
00:20:42.680 Well, hopefully in a few weeks, we'll have some merch on our site, too.
00:20:45.420 I kind of led into it.
00:20:46.780 I thought maybe you would do that.
00:20:47.740 Thanks so much.
00:20:48.460 Well done.
00:20:49.120 It was really nice meeting you, and good luck moving forward.
00:20:51.820 My pleasure.
00:20:53.180 Albertans4freedom.com.
00:20:54.140 The four is a number four.
00:20:56.240 Go over there, make a donation, and help them out so they can get more of these signs out.
00:21:00.060 And if there's more TPAs and people that want to put signs out there, happy to line them up on my lawn.
00:21:04.360 I'll now have four.
00:21:05.820 And they're beautiful signs.
00:21:07.420 It is a beautiful sign.
00:21:08.520 It really is.
00:21:08.980 Thank you.
00:21:09.600 Thank you.
00:21:10.000 Thank you.
00:21:10.740 Thanks a lot to Brian in Maryland for talking to me the other day.
00:21:13.980 If I haven't got to your third-party advertiser yet,
00:21:16.840 I plan on doing that in the very near future.
00:21:19.900 There is a big event coming up on July 18th.
00:21:22.400 Here's more on that.
00:21:24.120 In the independence movement, we're lucky to have a lot of great leaders,
00:21:27.960 a lot of great speakers, and a lot of great volunteers.
00:21:32.700 You know what we don't have a lot of?
00:21:35.520 Money.
00:21:36.580 We're going to need a lot of money.
00:21:38.840 Prior to this referendum campaign, I had people say we'll need at least five to six million dollars.
00:21:46.000 Some of the third party advertisers are doing great right now, bringing in tens of thousands of dollars.
00:21:52.140 But that's a long way from millions.
00:21:55.040 And think of this. Every political party in the country is going to be coming into Alberta this summer and into the fall to stop the Alberta independence movement.
00:22:04.220 That includes Pierre Polyev and the Conservatives.
00:22:07.640 All the MPs you voted for in the last election are going to be trying to stop you.
00:22:14.020 And then there's the CBC.
00:22:16.860 Yes, the CBC.
00:22:18.620 Do you really think the CBC is going to give the Alberta independence movement a fair shake when it comes to this referendum?
00:22:25.440 Not a chance.
00:22:26.580 And what really should bug you about that is $1.4 billion goes to the CBC every year,
00:22:32.680 and they're going to be using your money to fight Alberta independence.
00:22:36.420 And how do we fight back?
00:22:38.620 Well, here's the plan, and this has never been done before.
00:22:43.020 Coming up on Saturday, July the 18th, from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., the telethon for independence.
00:22:50.360 The idea is to stream this on all the independence channels on YouTube at the same time.
00:22:56.160 including The Fringe, Talking to Albertans, My Channel, Chris Scott,
00:23:01.460 Berta Proud Dad, Igor, and many others.
00:23:04.260 We'll have a lot of the leaders of the independence movement,
00:23:06.720 including Mitch Sylvester, Jeff Rath, Dennis Modry, Keith Wilson,
00:23:11.140 and others involved, and you're going to be an integral part of this,
00:23:14.440 raising money for the independence movement.
00:23:16.560 We've got a studio in Calgary in Edmonton.
00:23:18.620 We've got some other studios set up, and we've got some surprises on the way as well.
00:23:22.740 So I hope you can be part of it.
00:23:24.200 It's coming up again, Saturday, July 18th, 11 to 11, the Telethon for Independence.
00:23:30.960 See you there.
00:23:31.880 I hope you can be part of the Telethon for Independence coming up on July 18th.
00:23:37.340 As I say in that, we're going to need a lot of money and you can help out.
00:23:40.560 You can still donate to the third-party advertisers right now,
00:23:44.080 but on that day, try to encourage other people to help them all out
00:23:47.780 because to win this thing, it's going to take a lot of cash.
00:23:51.540 Thank you very much for watching the Independence Calendar.
00:23:54.200 If you'd like to get in touch and send me your pictures of signs, johnboltonab at gmail.com.
00:24:01.220 And we're going to end with the unknown woman singing.
00:24:04.720 Let me know who she is.
00:24:06.180 And again, thanks to Ralph for sending this video in.
00:24:08.960 See you next time.
00:24:10.260 All right.
00:24:11.620 Okay.
00:24:12.660 Rico, don't wander off.
00:24:15.780 Can you stay with me, Rico?
00:24:19.780 It's raining in Alberta.
00:24:21.860 Got nothing else to do, got a pen and paper so I'd like to write to you.
00:24:32.860 Now's the time to break away from government control.
00:24:38.860 We're strong and free Albertans, and that's the way we rule.
00:24:46.860 Cause we're taking back our chickens and cows and ducks
00:24:51.900 We're never eating crickets, thank you very much
00:24:56.960 They've cancelled all our gas and oil cause that's what they chose
00:25:02.100 And that's the very reason that Alberta rose
00:25:09.560 In Canada, we love you, but that's just not enough
00:25:17.260 To keep us in a country that put us in handcuffs
00:25:24.380 Please join our fight for freedom, we'd like to take you there
00:25:30.380 But if you choose to stay, we'll have to give up this affair
00:25:39.560 You
