00:05:36.220 radio studio in Cornwall, I would say around 2009, give or take a year, one way or the other,
00:05:41.240 to do an interview with me because he was making a speech in Cornwall where I lived.
00:05:46.320 And he brought a guest with him that day. I've told this story before, but it leads me into my
00:05:50.660 next person I want to talk about today. Now, if you don't know the geography, Ottawa is about an
00:05:57.620 hour from Cornwall. You go down the 417 highway straight south, you're in Cornwall. And he
00:06:02.680 introduces me to this young man who was elected for the first time, I believe, in 2004, the same
00:06:07.980 year. Guy was elected for the first time. He says, John, I'd like you to meet Pierre Polyev,
00:06:13.820 future prime minister of Canada. And damn, I thought Guy was going to be right. That was back
00:06:19.360 in 2009. This was long before Polyev ever even became the leader of the conservative party.
00:06:25.520 And Guy died in June of 2025 and never saw Polyev become the prime minister, which leads me to Pierre
00:06:32.660 Polyev. His days are numbered. We're hearing his caucus is revolting. They want to have a
00:06:38.660 leadership review. He just won one back in late January and did very well. He's not going to be
00:06:44.320 around very long, folks. It's one thing to lose an election. Those things happen. Another thing
00:06:50.240 to lose your seat. But now he's losing MPs and we hear more are going to go. His days are numbered.
