00:00:52.520 morning. And this poll that they did got me convinced that in many ways, Canada is already
00:00:59.140 the 51st state, at least in the minds of people who react to every little thing Donald Trump says,
00:01:06.000 everything he does, and everything he threatens. Now, don't get me wrong. I think much of what
00:01:13.140 Donald Trump is doing when it comes to tariffs and things, it's hurting people. I agree with you,
00:01:18.080 but I don't react to it in the same way these people in this poll I'm going to read about in
00:01:23.180 just a moment do. I think about it logically. I don't think emotionally. And I think a large
00:01:27.940 percentage of the population, they're emotional. And in a way, pardon me, they're stupid in many
00:01:33.860 ways. I don't know. I don't react to it to the same way because I believe that Donald Trump is
00:01:38.840 doing what he thinks is right for his country. I only wish we had a government here in Canada
00:01:45.340 that would do things right for our country. And that would be the Liberal Party of Canada.
00:01:50.340 You know, George Carlin is known for saying this, never underestimate the power of stupid people
00:01:56.420 in large groups. And ladies and gentlemen, we've got a large group of stupid people in Canada.
00:02:03.320 And the conclusion I've come to by reading this article right here in the National Post is that
00:02:09.120 Donald Trump owns you, okay, because of this polling that was done by Angus Reid. So let's
00:02:16.040 read a little of this article right now. Americans hold Canadians in high esteem,
00:02:20.980 the reverse not so much. Despite all the trade war rhetoric and 51st state comments from the
00:02:26.340 White House, Americans on the whole still have positive feelings towards their neighbors to
00:02:30.920 the north. But from this side of the border, it's a different picture. A poll by Canada's Angus
00:02:36.880 read asked people from both countries about their perceptions of the other. It found that almost
00:02:41.680 half of Canadians hold a negative view of Americans, with 29% choosing unfavorable and
00:02:47.820 another 19% very unfavorable. I wouldn't think if you added these two numbers together, it wouldn't
00:02:53.140 be too far away from the number of people or the percentage of people that voted for the Liberal
00:02:58.160 Party of Canada. I can't be absolutely sure, but it would probably be close. Meanwhile, just 13%
00:03:04.640 of Canadians said they felt very favorably towards Americans, and another 32% said their
00:03:10.200 view was favorable. Final 7% weren't sure or couldn't say. Americans were overwhelmingly
00:03:15.440 upbeat about Canadians. Now, this poll does come to a conclusion right here. We'll come back to that
00:03:20.900 in just a moment, but we'll read the next paragraph, and that's all of the story I'll
00:03:25.120 read until we come back to this. Trump has soured the Canada-U.S. relationship with tariffs and talk

00:03:45.900 a moment. But the conclusion I come to after reading these poll numbers is this. Trump owns
00:03:51.720 you. He lives rent-free in your brain. Are you proud of that? Because look at it this way.

00:04:09.380 because of the actions of one man, because of the threats of terrorists from one man,
00:04:13.380 because you dislike one man. How do you feel about that? I'm just wondering,

00:04:22.440 of the people in the United States, and it's pretty close to half, don't support Donald Trump
