00:01:04.620 Nigel Hannaford, and Corey were on there talking about misinformation regarding the independence
00:01:09.320 movement here. Now, I think it's up to us, us citizen journalists and you as an independence-minded
00:01:15.760 Albertan to spread the correct information. Western Standard is certainly doing their job and
00:01:20.360 they were referring to a couple of tweets. So here are the tweets. This is Dr. Christopher Wells.
00:01:25.840 You can see here over on the right side, Dr. Christopher Wells, independent senator from
00:01:30.160 Alberta. Dr. Christopher Wells is not an independent. I don't know whether you know this. People outside
00:01:36.980 of Alberta might not know this, but Alberta actually elects its senators. And here are the latest three.
00:01:42.140 You can see them down here. These three people were elected in 2021 to be senators,
00:01:47.200 all conservatives, not appointed as of February, 2025. Christopher Wells was appointed by Justin
00:01:54.460 Trudeau in 2024. Christopher Wells is a leftist. And this is what Christopher Wells says. I can assure

00:04:41.980 passports. Let's read a little bit of the story. St. Patrick's Day may be just around the corner,
00:04:47.420 but it seems Mark Carney can no longer truly claim to be Irish as Canada's new Prime Minister moved to
00:04:52.700 renounce both his Irish and UK citizenships prior to starting his new job. Carney had acquired Irish
00:04:59.380 citizenship through his family ancestry and got his UK passport while working overseas as the governor
00:05:05.040 of the Bank of England. Indeed, several million Canadians report holding more than one citizenship,
00:05:11.720 while very few Prime Ministers have done the same. Having ties to more than one country can
00:05:16.920 complicate a politician's life. My dad dated a woman after my mom passed away, who died at the age of 95,
00:05:26.600 and she was a dual citizenship, United States and Canada her whole life. It's a lie. But you're going
00:05:35.560 to be frightened into believing these things by people like Jason Kenney, who has a big voice,
00:05:39.440 and the senator as well. And this gets amplified on social media. That's why it's important for us
00:05:46.120 to spread the correct information. Here's Corey Morgan talking more about the Canada pension plan.
00:05:52.120 I mean, Kenney's a, we know, he's a very smart man. He knows the constitution inside and out. He could
00:05:56.280 probably school us on a number of things on that. I mean, whatever Kenney might be. He's no fool. So
00:06:01.360 he's purposely, you know, fear mongering is the term you don't like. How about BSing? He also knows
00:06:09.000 politically, though, one of the weaknesses, ironically, it's the weakness for conservatives
00:06:13.100 in general, but with the independence movement, are seniors fearful for their pension. They're
00:06:18.500 fearful that an independence vote will come along, Canada close the doors, and then apparently this
00:06:22.920 new independent Alberta is just going to leave them to starve because Canada no longer continued to
00:06:27.720 pay out their pension. It's just pure baloney, but it does scare people. I've been getting a lot of
00:06:32.880 that feedback on independence issues. People are worried. I mean, if that's your only means of
00:06:36.440 income, you're on a fixed income, meager as it is, you're going to be very upset if you think it
00:06:42.940 might be shut off. So Kenney, we don't know what he's up to. I mean, he's been in political
00:06:47.980 wilderness for a while. He's suddenly resurfaced and very prolific on media. And in general, he's got
00:06:53.300 some sort of plan for his future. Power to him. But obviously, part of that involves trying to
00:07:00.200 work cracks into the independence movement and weaken it. And making seniors fearful of the
00:07:05.900 change that independence would bring, he sees as an effective way to do it. It worked for the liberals.
00:07:10.080 Corey is right. Fear can be a great motivator. Look what happened in the federal election.
00:07:15.100 People voted on emotion, fear, and not on logic. And the liberals slipped back in. So keep that in mind.
00:07:21.200 If somebody says they're concerned about the Canada pension plan, that is guaranteed. You've
00:07:25.700 paid into it. It is your money. They're not going to take it away from you. Now, as far as the
00:07:31.860 motivation of Jason Kenney, just quickly, I think he's going to run again. I think he's got some idea
00:07:36.900 he's going to run for public office again. I don't know where that is. I go back to this tweet from
00:07:40.980 May the 1st. This hammers the independence movement in Alberta. But for some reason, Kenney thought it was
00:07:46.700 important for him to list his accomplishments and put his resume into this tweet. So I think he's
00:07:52.600 running for public office once again. Now, there's something else I saw that is about a week old. Now,
00:07:59.780 maybe I'm out of the loop. I don't follow news 24 hours a day. I'd go crazy. But I saw this on my
00:08:05.560 wife's Facebook this morning. And it was posted by Thomas Lukasik, who is a former MLA, former Deputy
00:08:11.740 Premier here in Alberta, progressive conservative, not a conservative. He's more progressive. He likes
00:08:17.480 the Liberals. Here are some posts on his Facebook. Just loving on the Liberals. But he's an anti-independence
00:08:22.920 person. He started up some kind of a campaign. I'm not sure if you were aware of this. This is the
00:08:27.540 post I saw this morning. He posted this a week ago. So many of you are asking how to sign this
00:08:33.440 Canadian Forever petition. You can see it on the right-hand side of the screen here. Elections
00:08:37.840 Alberta must first validate this petition. It will take a few days. We will be launching a campaign
00:08:43.040 shortly. Stay tuned. It's a lot of work. But Canada is worth every bit of it. And then here
