00:06:37.140What has a decade of woke left-wing anti-development policies done to our country?
00:06:43.180Soft on crime bail laws have let dangerous criminals and repeat offenders back onto our streets instead of keeping them behind bars where they belong.
00:06:50.860their so-called failed safe supply experiment has only worsened the
00:06:56.100addiction crisis and exposed families and their kids to discarded needles and
00:06:59.900attics shooting up in the parks they're out-of-control immigration policies have0.97
00:07:04.140overwhelmed our nation's housing supply strained our social services and created
00:07:08.800a national youth unemployment crisis and their anti-resource keep it in the
00:07:13.120ground eco extremism has left us less able to secure to provide a secure supply
00:07:19.660of energy to our friends and allies around the world with safe secure and responsibly produced
00:07:24.700energy products so there's a reason why we refer to the last 10 years as canada's lost decade
00:07:31.660canada's lost decade and here's a statistic that i think you need to hear over and over again if
00:07:37.740you live in canada you need to have this drilled into your brain a trillion dollars in lost
00:07:43.980investment in canada since justin trudeau became prime minister and through a period of that time
00:07:49.020Mark Carney was his economic advisor. The amount of money lost in Alberta,
00:07:53.920provincial lost investment is staggering. I'll play that for you in just a moment.
00:07:59.620You know, take the clip I just played for you, put it on repeat, and people will come running
00:08:05.500to Alberta independence, and that just scratches the surface. In a moment, I'm going to play another
00:08:10.020clip from this weekend's conference. She talks about global economic uncertainty. Now, if Mark
00:08:15.900Carney said those words, you would be thinking he was talking about the United States of America.
00:08:20.840The global economic uncertainty I think she's talking about is uncertainty in Canada,
00:08:25.600because not much has changed. Here's Danielle Smith talking about the lost investment in Alberta
00:08:32.140over the last 10 years. And again, I think she's speaking on behalf of Alberta independence here.
00:08:38.600Well, I can tell you that we've had at least $175 billion worth of projects that have been
00:08:43.900canceled be because of the actions of the federal government. You look at pipelines in particular,
00:08:49.760we had $176 billion worth of proposed projects that got canceled because of the uncertainty
00:08:57.080created by various government laws. This onslaught of anti-energy, anti-agriculture,
00:09:02.300and anti-resource development policies have scared away global investments to the tune of
00:09:07.360a half a trillion dollars. $175 billion. She said $176 billion. What's the difference when it's a
00:09:14.360billion dollars when you're talking about this staggering amount of money? And then she mentions
00:09:19.240half a trillion dollars in natural resources and agriculture lost in Canada because of the
00:09:24.260federal government. She's making a case here for Alberta independence, really. Now, here she is
00:09:29.920talking about Alberta at this conference this past weekend. And again, I want to stress, Alberta is
00:09:36.580doing well, far better than the rest of the country, not because of Canada, but despite
00:09:41.840Canada. But where I come from in Alberta, we do things a little bit differently. We've built a
00:09:47.540rock solid economic foundation grounded in conservative principles, one that is helping
00:09:51.960us to weather global economic uncertainty and to help people succeed. And we're staying true to
00:09:57.480the ideas that have always made Alberta a beacon of hope and opportunity, even when the world feels
00:10:03.400a little bit dark and uncertain. Hard work, personal responsibility, freedom. These are
00:10:09.940the values we live by, and we stand by them, no matter what pressures we face. Guided by these
00:10:15.520values, we've made Alberta one of the most business-friendly environments in North America.
00:10:20.380We do things differently out here in Alberta, and until you live here and you experience it,
00:10:26.260you don't know. She talks about hard work, personal responsibility, and freedom. People
00:10:31.280who live in Canada mock Albertans for that, but that's the reason why we do so well on this graph.
00:10:38.780I can only imagine what that number would be if we didn't have the boot of the Liberal Party and
00:10:45.020the Canadian government on our neck out here in Alberta. My friend Dennis Calva, who wrote this,
00:10:50.380was recently on Jason Levine. I would suggest you subscribe to both of those men. They're fantastic.
00:10:56.040and he talked about one little thing that would change that would probably change your life
00:11:01.300in a huge way. Can you imagine if this actually happened? We could certainly make an awfully big
00:11:07.740dent in personal income taxes literally day one. We can see a reduction in personal income tax
00:11:15.020on the order of 50% total load or you see in corporate taxes probably you know 20-30%
00:11:25.080reductions that would allow businesses to thrive better so so it's not like it's completely tax
00:11:30.840free but you as a citizen end up with you know a lot more money in your pocket pick an average
00:11:37.000family and i'm just looking at the math over here um average family of four you're looking at a
00:11:43.080reduction of over a thousand a month in saved taxes purely on the reduction in personal income
00:11:49.160tax we could do on day one. It's an excellent interview. Link in the description below. And
00:11:55.400it's funny, in the interview, Dennis refers to an independent Alberta as Dubai with snow.
00:12:02.780That's how much our prosperity would increase if Alberta were to leave Canada. By the way,
00:12:07.940a lot of people ask me about this document. Where can I get it? You can download it at the Alberta
00:12:13.120Prosperity Project website. So check that out as well. I think Daniel Smith is a great spokesperson
00:12:19.000person for the Alberta independence movement, whether she likes it or not. Many of us in the
00:12:24.220independence movement wish she would come over to our side. I think we'd be unstoppable if she did
00:12:28.420that. But I think what Danielle Smith wants, whatever she calls it, a sovereign Alberta within0.77
00:12:34.760the United Canada, is a pipe dream. Or I guess more specifically for Alberta, a pipeline dream.
