Let's Talk Alberta was a great night in Delburn, Alberta. Zane Novak, Ben Crane, Chris Scott, Corey Morgan, and I had a great time meeting people and talking about the independence movement. We need to have someone on the front row at every event and counter Thomas Lecasic.
00:00:29.160There was a Let's Talk Alberta event there and it was outstanding. Zane Novak spoke, Ben Crane, Chris Scott, Corey Morgan showed up and boy, a whole bunch of fantastic people who want Alberta independence.
00:00:44.420It was a full house there. I went up there with about 20 people from Calgary. People came in from Edmonton and Red Deer.
00:00:51.060This was the event where the CBC was supposed to show up, but they did not show.
00:00:57.860And I don't know that we scared them away or not, but we went up anyway, had a great time.
00:01:02.580Chris Scott brought in some pierogies.
00:01:04.280We had a good meal while we were there, and it was outstanding.
00:01:07.600Now, I'm just getting home now, and I've been up for a long time.
00:01:11.380We had, wow, the weather we're getting right now in southern Alberta is terrible.
00:01:16.840I think the temperature is supposed to go up to 20 in the next couple of days.
00:01:20.640But it was pretty cold tonight, and we were getting some heavy snow, white-knuckle driving, and white-out conditions all the way from Delburn back into Calgary.
00:01:28.760Thanks to my good friends, Mr. and Mrs. Albertan, for leading the way tonight.
00:01:34.920About an hour and a half to get to Delburn earlier, and almost three hours to get back.
00:01:39.940So terrible driving, and I'm pretty tired and going on a little bit of sleep now.
00:01:44.580Now, there is something I want to talk about.
00:01:46.400As I was coming back, I flipped on Calgary Radio, and the radio station was doing a news story on Thomas Lukasik, who had a, what did they call it, a miraculous or something petition campaign last year, and historic is what they called it, historic petition campaign last year.
00:02:09.140And they spoke to Thomas LeCasic, who apparently is going to be going around the province and having his forever Canadian events.
00:02:17.640And I think what we need to do in the independence movement is to have somebody sitting in the front row at every one of these events and taking down notes.
00:02:26.800LeCasic is basically saying that he's doing this because he wants to be in Canada.
