00:01:33.500 Here is the question that was submitted yesterday, and it is different than the other one.
00:01:39.000 Do you agree that Alberta shall cease to be a province in Canada and become an independent
00:01:43.760 state? And it's the word state that has a few people concerned. I got this on my X account

00:01:56.620 Dan says, hey John, I know this doesn't matter because I know what it means. However, I'm concerned
00:02:01.040 about using the word state in the question to people that don't know and have been fear-mongered
00:02:06.620 about Trump and sit on the fence about independence. And of course, Donald Trump said that Alberta would
00:02:12.240 become the 51st state. So why did they use the word state is the question that some people are asking me.

00:02:27.100 So what they did was they ratified Bill 14. So it is now law. So we were waiting at Elections
00:02:34.360 Alberta, and we handed in our new question. Our new question is based exactly on the question in

00:02:49.120 difference. But the first question was, do you agree that the province of Alberta shall become
00:02:53.940 a sovereign country and cease to be a province of Canada? One you handed in yesterday, from what
00:02:59.380 I understand is, do you agree that Alberta shall cease to be a province in Canada and become an
00:03:04.380 independent state? So why the change? Were you concerned after the court case that happened a
00:03:10.580 couple of weeks ago that it wouldn't fit within the parameters of a correct question, Mitch?
00:03:14.860 Well, the question is exactly out of the Clarity Act.
00:03:17.380 Okay. And by the way, it doesn't mean become a state of the US. It absolutely does not mean that.
00:03:24.940 Okay. A free state is equivalent to a free country. Actually, it's less broad term than country. But
00:03:33.380 that is exactly what's in the Clarity Act. And that's why we use that question this time. So
00:03:37.500 they're not going to be able to, you know, actually hold that against us. It's word for word with what's
00:03:42.900 Sinclairia. So there is no ambiguity. There is no questioning the question. It is very matter of
00:03:49.700 fact. That's why they chose that question. So fear not. Everything's just fine. We are not
