00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. Tuesday, February the 3rd. It's 6.16am. Hope
00:00:08.380 you're having a great start to your Tuesday morning with the big blue mug of coffee. And
00:00:13.040 I am getting going a little bit later today than normal. I was up just as early as usual,
00:00:17.980 but I woke up this morning and I didn't feel inspired to do a video. There was nothing
00:00:23.040 that struck me. And it wasn't until a couple hours later, about an hour ago, a little after
00:00:29.240 five o'clock that I saw on X somebody talking about Team Canada. And I've said here before,
00:00:36.600 Team Canada is dead and people are still going on about Team Canada. And Team Canada gets deader
00:00:42.360 every day, if I could put it that way. And so I thought I'd put together a short video of the way
00:00:47.660 Team Canada gets deader and deader every day. Is that even grammatically correct? But that's the
00:00:53.940 way I feel. So here's the latest number for Alberta independence. This is an ECOS pool. 41%.
00:01:02.020 You've got people online still lying that it's around 12 or 13% or maybe 20 or perhaps 30,
00:01:08.740 but we've got a number of 41% right now. And I don't doubt that this is absolutely true. It might 1.00
00:01:14.660 even be higher than this. 41%. We see the momentum happening here in Alberta. If you live out East,
00:01:20.580 you don't understand anything that we deal with in the West. And you do not get what's going on out
00:01:26.260 here right now because you can feel this. I'm out at another event on Thursday night. I'll be emceeing
00:01:31.700 in Northwest Calgary. Jeff Rath is going to be there. Mitch Sylvester is going to be there. We're
00:01:36.100 going to have petitions out there for people to sign. It's going to be insane. I posted a short little
00:01:41.860 thing yesterday on X and everybody's reposting it. It's going to be a full house again. This is happening
00:01:46.780 everywhere. You've seen the pictures. You've seen the videos of everything that's going on.
00:01:52.620 But Team Canada is not alive. Look what's happening in Quebec.
00:01:57.500 Look at this. The next CAQ leader would vote yes in a third referendum. Here's another one.
00:02:02.540 A renewed movement. Support for Quebec's sovereignty, gaining traction among young people.
00:02:06.940 Here's another one. Quebec Premier resigns with separatist opponents surging in polls.
00:02:11.340 So you've got an independence movement in Alberta, one growing in Quebec.
00:02:17.820 Here is Corey Morgan. Saskatchewan's independence movement is packing halls right now too. You're
00:02:23.100 damn right it is. Here's Brad Williams, president of the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project right here on
00:02:29.580 my channel. We're so patriotic. We're so proud to be Canada, but that Canada is gone. It's been gone
00:02:35.260 for about 10 years here. It's just been eroding. If we don't become our only independent nation and
00:02:40.780 protect that, we won't have those values at all. Canada is in all of our hearts. But the question
00:02:46.460 I like to ask people is if you woke up this morning and Saskatchewan was its own province
00:02:51.260 or country, are you going to pack up and leave to some other Canadian province just to say you're
00:02:55.980 Canadian? 90% of the people say no. And the reason is because we're Saskatchewanians or we're Albertans.
00:03:02.460 We're proud of where we are. Brad's a great guy. I'll be sure to have him back on the channel. I was
00:03:07.260 talking to him the other day on the phone. Things are going great with the independence movement in
00:03:12.060 Saskatchewan. So you've got Alberta, you've got Quebec, you've got Saskatchewan. Oh, oh,
00:03:17.020 there's another one. Here's Jason Levine. Follow him. I was on the Levine show last week. Really great
00:03:22.700 guy. Hey, everyone. Give BC Prosperity Project to follow. They're organizing and getting started.
00:03:28.780 Because if you look at the map of British Columbia, folks, the only people who support left-wing
00:03:32.700 parties there are in Victoria and Vancouver. The rest of the province is all conservative and
00:03:37.660 they've had enough as well. So let's count them. Alberta, one. Quebec, two. Saskatchewan, three.
00:03:43.100 British Columbia, four. Four provinces with groups that want to leave. Not looking good for Team Canada
00:03:49.420 right now. But surely you're going to say, John, there's got to be more to it than this. Well, there
00:03:53.100 is. Here's Doug Ford hammering his good buddy Mark Carney about Chinese EVs.
00:03:57.660 Last week, Prime Minister Carney announced a deal with China that will allow thousands of cheap,
00:04:05.420 made-in-China electric vehicles into Canada's market. I've been clear about my concerns with this deal.
00:04:13.340 By opening up our country to a flood of cheap, made-in-China vehicles, the federal government
00:04:19.660 is asking Canadian autoworkers to compete on unfair ground. We've seen what happens when cheap
00:04:27.100 Chinese vehicles enter Western markets. Factories have closed. Workers have lost their jobs.
00:04:34.140 That's the risk this deal is creating right here in Ontario. In exchange for opening Canada up
00:04:42.940 to this flood of cheap Chinese vehicles, the federal government got nothing, absolutely nothing,
00:04:49.900 in return for Canadian autoworkers. And that's why we're here today. Looks like old Doug's falling off
00:04:56.940 the Team Canada bandwagon. He's not too happy with his good friend Mark, who he all but endorsed during
00:05:02.700 the federal campaign last year. But let's get a little reinforcement of how well Team Canada is doing for
00:05:08.860 the automotive industry in Doug's Ontario. 33% of every CAW, that's the autoworkers union, 33%
00:05:15.900 of all members are not working right now. Not working, not employed at the moment. And that's
00:05:21.340 only getting worse. So wake the up, Doug Ford, okay? Wake up, Prime Minister, for the love of Jesus.
00:05:28.060 Like, we used to make a shit ton of cars in Canada. It's on a steady erosion. Like,
00:05:34.060 we're down to 1.3, 1.4 million cars. Mexico is up to 3.5, 3.9. It's going in the wrong f***ing
00:05:43.180 direction. That's Ron the Mortgage Guy. Be sure to follow him. He's got some great content.
00:05:48.300 Meanwhile, you've got Indigenous groups that are part of Team Canada across the country.
00:05:52.540 Here's a group that's fighting against any prosperity in Ontario.
00:05:57.260 Nine Ontario First Nations are bringing the federal and provincial governments to court,
00:06:01.740 pushing back against new laws to fast track infrastructure projects.
00:06:06.540 So you've got Indigenous groups in Ontario getting in the way of prosperity there. They're 1.00
00:06:10.460 not part of Team Canada. I could play clips like that from right across the country,
00:06:14.460 including west of where I live here in Alberta. They don't want any pipelines going to the coast.
00:06:19.580 Meanwhile, you might remember this picture. I have to giggle looking at this. It's such a joke.
00:06:25.340 Stronger Pipeline Pact spans three provinces. Well, that's great. You got Alberta,
00:06:31.260 you got Saskatchewan, you got Ontario, but somebody's missing from this picture. Because
00:06:35.580 if you don't have the one that's in the middle, nothing gets done. They're not on Team Canada.
00:06:40.460 And that'd be this guy right here. This is the Premier of Manitoba, which comes just before
00:06:44.860 Ontario and right after Saskatchewan. He's not on Team Canada. And meanwhile, we can go to the west of
00:06:50.540 us to this guy who's getting in the way of prosperity for Alberta and the country. Is he on Team Canada?
00:06:55.740 The pipeline proposal has no project proponent. There is not one private company that has stepped
00:07:03.180 up to say, if you build it, we'll buy it. If the approvals are in place, we'll build it. Not one.
00:07:10.700 So David Eby continues to repeat this over and over again. There's no proponent for a pipeline. And why
00:07:17.100 is there no proponent, David? Well, here's my Premier, Danielle Smith, explaining it. Team Canada, folks.
00:07:22.860 Does this not just reinforce what Premier Eby has always said, that there's no real private interest
00:07:28.860 in a new pipeline? I would say that we have a market right now where it's difficult to attract
00:07:34.780 private equity because of some of the bad laws that have been in place over the last 10 years. This is
00:07:39.340 why I've talked to the Prime Minister about needing a grand bargain, where we get a Pidgeman pipeline,
00:07:43.500 the Pathways project to reduce emissions, but then also address the nine bad laws. The way pipelines get
00:07:48.940 built is that they get proponents willing to pledge barrels. Well, if you've got an emissions cap and
00:07:54.220 a tanker ban at the moment, there aren't any proponents that are willing to pledge those
00:07:59.020 barrels, which is part of the reason why it's difficult to get a pipeline built. It's a chicken
00:08:02.300 and egg problem. And we're hoping to be able to cut through that so we can get this on the major
00:08:06.780 projects list so we can attract private capital. So the hits just keep on coming for Team Canada,
00:08:11.980 folks. Now let's move on. Did you realize that Canada was going to remove interprovincial trade
00:08:18.220 barriers by July 1st? Did you know that? July 1st last year, but it still hasn't happened. As a matter
00:08:24.380 of fact, the Conservatives put forward a bill to reward provinces that remove those trade barriers,
00:08:31.500 but the Liberals voted it down. Here is Chief Billy Moran in the House of Commons.
00:08:36.380 The International Monetary Fund reported today that Canada can grow GDP by 7% or 200 billion by
00:08:44.460 removing internal trade barriers that act like a 9% tariff. Photo op MOU speeches and pizza parlor
00:08:49.900 visits with premiers has not reduced interprovincial trade barriers. The Prime Minister's rhetoric doesn't
00:08:54.780 match reality and life is becoming less affordable for everyday Canadians. Will the government support the
00:08:59.500 Canadian Sovereignty Act, which incentivizes and gives bonuses to provinces that build across Canada
00:09:04.380 and repeals federal measures that block and penalize development of natural resources.
00:09:11.020 Team Canada is dead. In order to call yourself a team, you have to have the same goals. Does Alberta have
00:09:18.940 the same goals as Ottawa? How about Quebec? How about Saskatchewan? How about BC? How about the provincial
00:09:27.420 premiers? How about the federal parties? How about Indigenous groups? They're not all on the same team, 0.97
00:09:33.740 because none of them have the same goals. Team Canada is dead. Thank you so much for watching.
00:09:40.460 And just a reminder, coming up on Thursday night, I will be at this event right here at the Dalhousie
00:09:46.940 Community Association in Northwest Calgary, 5432 Dalhart Road. There will be a petition signing from 6 until
00:09:54.540 9pm, speakers at 7 o'clock, and that will include Jeff Rath and Mitch Sylvester. And later on this morning,
00:10:01.100 I will be talking with Jeff Rath, and I'm going to have some pointed questions for Jeff and maybe
00:10:05.580 challenge him a little bit on this one. So watch for that interview tomorrow on the channel. Thanks so
00:10:10.460 much for watching. I do appreciate it. If you liked the video, give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the
00:10:15.180 channel. Ring the bell for notifications. I'll see you in the next one.
