00:00:00.000Hi, it's John, and welcome to the channel. It is Wednesday, October the 7th, 5.08 a.m.
00:00:07.900I hope you're having a great Wednesday and a fantastic week. Thank you so much for being
00:00:12.940here. I'm going to start with a quote this morning. Those of you who have been with the
00:00:16.840channel for a while, thank you very much for that. Thank you for subscribing as well. You
00:00:21.500know I like quotes, and here's the quote we're going to start with this morning. From Plato,
00:00:26.680Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are1.00
00:00:32.580dumber. And we're going to talk about politicians today. I woke up this morning thinking, you know,1.00
00:00:38.040I'm not going to do a video today. I'm going to leave the politics and the politicians behind.
00:00:41.600I'm not going to talk about the Alberta independence movement. My mind needs a break.
00:00:46.200And this video is not going to go on very long. I'm going to keep this less than 10 minutes. I'm
00:00:49.520going to move through this quickly. But I was going to give my mind a break this morning,
00:00:52.880and then I picked up my phone and I got dragged right back in. A friend of mine who lives a few
00:00:56.980doors down, a neighbor of mine, sent me a text message, which is just fine. I talked to people
00:01:02.360out east. She says they don't understand about Mark Carney, his new world order. They think he's
00:01:06.640the greatest prime minister ever. And she sends me this. Thank you. I appreciate it. The new world
00:01:12.160order. There's 25 points. If you want to rattle them off to somebody, there you go. Okay. So I'm
00:01:18.660still thinking, I don't know whether I want to do a video today because that's what I was thinking
00:01:22.500when I woke up this morning. So the next thing I open up is this article right here, and it kind
00:01:26.880of inspired me. This is from PJ Media. David Solway, if we do not escape this prime minister,
00:01:33.000we are toast. I'm going to read a little bit of this to you, what you see in blue,
00:01:36.840but I'll put the article down below and you can read the whole thing. And it's very good and it's
00:01:41.400not very long. So we're going to talk about some federal politicians today. You will hear from a
00:01:46.160provincial politician, my provincial politician, which would be Danielle Smith, who has some
00:01:51.400truth to spread around to the federal politicians you're going to hear from here. Now, I don't
00:01:57.000trust Danielle Smith much anymore. I think she's gone over to the dark side. But politicians seem
00:02:02.700to think that everything will be forgotten, that we won't remember what's happened in the past.
00:02:07.840The internet is forever now, ladies and gentlemen. Politicians can't get away with, I never said that
00:02:13.000because it's all on record. But these people, they are disingenuous. They don't tell you the
00:02:19.220truth. They are hypocritical. They gaslight you. And that's what we're going to do here in this1.00
00:02:23.820short little video. So we're going to start off with Mark Carney. Not very long on Carney. We
00:02:28.680beat up on him all the time. But a leopard does not change its spots. But Mark Carney seems to
00:02:34.280think we forget everything that he's done in the past. And he's told us who he is. How do these
00:02:39.760two clips, which I've edited down into this short little segment, live together in the same world?
00:02:45.200Society is putting tremendous value on achieving net zero. So the companies and those who invest in them and lend to them who are part of the solution will be rewarded. But those who are lagging behind and are still part of the problem will be punished.
00:03:02.300If we are going to build, and I am a proponent of building big energy infrastructure in this country.
00:03:08.320Carney seems to think we forget who he is, his career leading up until becoming the prime
00:03:13.600minister. A lot of it had to do with climate. He was the climate envoy for the UN. He ran the
00:03:19.580Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, which discouraged investment in the oil and gas industry,
00:03:25.300which we're going to talk about through this video. Now, you may think this is very Alberta
00:03:30.340centric. You need to understand something's going on here in Alberta right now. If you're not paying
00:03:34.480attention, we're having a referendum in less than two weeks so that we can have a referendum on
00:03:39.060Alberta leaving. These people are scared to death. We're talking about trillions of dollars up for
00:03:45.440grabs here, folks. If it wasn't for the oil and gas industry in Alberta, a lot of your social
00:03:50.220services wouldn't be there. And they're scared. So they're gaslighting us. They're lying to us.
00:03:56.140They're being disingenuous. They seem to think we forget what they've done in the past, which
00:03:59.860brings us on to our next politician. His name is Francois-Philippe Champagne. He's your Minister
00:04:04.760of Finance and National Revenue. Now, this is a guy. Let me bring him up here on Wikipedia.
00:04:09.320I'll just show you who he is. Here he is. Francois-Philippe Champagne. There he is,
00:04:15.780right there. Canadian lawyer, has been Minister of Finance and National Revenue since 2025,
00:04:21.480a member of the Liberal Party. He was elected to the House of Commons in the 2015 election.
00:04:25.780So when Justin Trudeau got in and what did Justin Trudeau do to Alberta, do to Alberta, as I say, politicians don't do things to help you.
00:04:33.320They do things to you. What did he do as part of the Liberal Party?
00:04:36.660He held our oil and gas industry back to the tunes of hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:04:41.900And we'll get the clip from Danielle Smith on that in just a moment.
00:04:45.120But he seems to think all we will be forgiven and forgotten because all of a sudden they've had a come to Jesus moment because their bank account, Alberta is about to leave.
00:04:54.320Here he is. Here is Francois Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue within the last couple of days.
00:05:01.380And there's been a lot of good news for Alberta recently, as you've seen, with respect to getting our resources to market.
00:05:08.820And I think this is going to make Alberta and Canada together a much stronger country.
00:05:16.440After everything this guy in the Liberal Party has done to Alberta over the last 11 years, they think we're going to forget.
00:05:22.240They think you're going to forget. They've cost this country a lot of money. More on that in just
00:05:27.740a moment. We're going to hear from a politician in the House of Commons. And then we get this guy.
00:05:32.620Now, this guy is a Conservative MP. Now, you think, John, you're a Conservative. You voted
00:05:37.660Conservative on April 28th last year. Surely, you're in lockstep with this guy. No, this is
00:05:43.400the Conservative Party of Canada, the impotent party that lost the election last year after
00:05:50.200having an insurmountable lead with their impotent leader, Pierre Polyev. Sorry, Pierre, but you and
00:05:56.580your MPs are in Alberta right now trying to stop the Alberta independence movement. And many of
00:06:02.080them I'm sure think we'd be better off if we left, but they're afraid of losing their jobs. And so
00:06:06.520are you. So this guy is called Garnet Jenis. He is the MP for Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan here
00:06:13.680in Alberta, gaslighting Albertans and Canadians about what the hell's going on when it comes to
00:06:18.900Alberta independence movement. I wanted to share with you about one conversation I had with someone
00:06:23.540he said to me Garnett I'm a proud Canadian I want to stay in Canada but I'm thinking about voting
00:06:29.380option two just to send a message. Now what I said to him was if you want to send that message you'll
00:06:35.940also be sending a message to investors you'll be sending a message to people who want to start and
00:06:41.460grow businesses in Alberta that there might be years decades of wrangling an argument about
00:06:48.100separation we hear this all the time from these politicians and i say it with disrespect
00:06:56.420if you vote on october 19th to send a message to ottawa investors will get the message that
00:07:01.700they can't invest in alberta are you kidding me they all say this they've got nothing about
00:07:07.220alberta staying in canada and why canada is a great place to stay all they've got is fear
00:07:12.660Well, here's a little bit of truth from Premier Danielle Smith.
00:07:17.140This onslaught of anti-energy, anti-agriculture, and anti-resource development policies
00:07:22.720have scared away global investments to the tune of a half a trillion dollars.
00:07:27.600These politicians say that investment will be lost if we vote for Albert Independence.
