00:00:00.000 While I admire Jamil Javani for saying things like this.
00:00:04.580 And that's what is at stake here.
00:00:06.780 What's at stake here is our own identity.
00:00:10.180 Do we allow the Liberals to exploit the current economic crisis to change who we are as Canadians?
00:00:16.080 Well, my answer is no.
00:00:18.200 I don't want to give Mark Carney that power.
00:00:20.660 With all due respect, Mr. Javani, that ship has sailed.
00:00:24.720 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel for 29 a.m. Friday, September the 11th. I hope you're
00:00:34.220 having a great day today. Just before I get into today's video, I wanted to take a moment
00:00:39.300 to recognize that it is the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001.
00:00:46.580 Certainly a where were you when moment for my generation. I do remember where I was on that
00:00:53.180 date. The question we have to ask ourselves, did we learn anything from it? Actually, I don't think
00:00:58.040 we've learned much from what happened 25 years ago today, and I think things have gotten worse
00:01:04.080 in the name of diversity. So let's move on to today's topic. I woke up this morning reading
00:01:10.440 this article right here. I'm not going to read it to you right now. I'm going to come back around to
00:01:14.140 this, okay, because this is the inspiration for today's video. Mark Carney's support surge coming
00:01:20.760 largely from former conservatives' poll finds. I read this article today, link in the description,
00:01:26.040 thinking, you know, Canada may be too far gone at this point. You may be at a point where we have
00:01:31.940 liberal governments in perpetuity in this country. I don't think that pure poly and the conservative
00:01:38.720 party are going in the right direction right now. They've tried to change direction right now,
00:01:43.360 but it isn't working. Things are just getting worse. I said 18 months ago that Carney needs
00:01:49.060 a crisis. The crisis was a trade war with Donald Trump, a war against Donald Trump that continues
00:01:54.960 to this day. And in that little clip at the beginning, Jamil Giovanni talks about Canadian
00:02:00.680 identity. I think the Canadian identity has gone in. And it seems that more and more Canadians
00:02:04.740 are willing to give away more of their identity as this trade war continues. Here's what I know.
00:02:11.740 Mark Carney, his poll numbers are through the roof. The liberals are through the roof. We'll
00:02:15.720 come back to that article in just a moment. And Carney needs this crisis and he cannot solve the
00:02:21.280 trade problem and make friends with the United States at this point. He cannot do that because
00:02:26.520 he has to get into the new year, folks, when automotive tariffs by Donald Trump are really
00:02:31.460 going to take effect on January the 1st. But he has to get into next year and continue this fight.
00:02:37.080 And the people who support Mark Carney and the liberals are willing to go down with the ship
00:02:41.200 and go down with the ship, you might, but he's got to get a major majority here. I'm talking
00:02:46.680 mega majority. I'm talking the biggest majority in the history of the country could be coming in 0.98
00:02:51.580 the new year because Mark Carney is going to hold off on trade negotiations and making a deal
00:02:56.780 with the United States because he needs a crisis and he needs it for power and he needs it for
00:03:04.060 seats in the House of Commons. You know, Pierre Polyev and Jamil Giovanni, I played that clip
00:03:08.480 off the top, who I admire very much. They're trying, but they're failing. They need to change
00:03:17.340 their tactics. I mean, Jamil Javani, a very smart guy, you know, I'll put a link to his video that
00:03:23.600 he put out a couple of days ago. He was trending on X this morning because of that video. And you
00:03:29.860 look at this guy and you think, here's a guy who has a good voice. He's articulate. He's a
00:03:34.640 conservative. He knows what he believes in, unlike many liberals. They just make it up as they go
00:03:40.280 along. But Jamil Giovanni, you look at him and you think, you know, here's a guy in the future who
00:03:44.480 could lead the Conservative Party of Canada. I honestly believe that he could do that. But no,
00:03:49.460 never will happen now. I'm sorry, Mr. Giovanni, but your goose is cooked. You're good friends
00:03:56.100 with J.D. Vance. The elbows up, folks, and the people that are supporting Carney right now will
00:04:01.400 never support you in the future. So you will never go much farther than you are right now.
00:04:07.640 And if there is a snap election in the new year, which Carney and the liberals are likely to
00:04:11.820 manufacture in some way, you might not even win the seat you're sitting in right now.
00:04:18.360 So in that little clip off the top, do we allow the liberals to exploit an economic crisis to
00:04:26.580 change who we are as Canadians. Mr. Giovanni, the ship has sailed. I don't want to give Mark
00:04:33.460 Carney that power, he says. Mr. Giovanni, the ship has sailed. Let me play a little bit more
00:04:39.340 of that. The clip off the top is included in what you're going to see right now. We'll come back and
00:04:43.360 analyze that. We'll hear more from Mr. Giovanni. And the clip that I'm going to play you in just
00:04:49.240 a moment is incredibly critical of the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, whether he
00:04:54.100 understands that or not it is the job of the conservative party to offer an alternative it's
00:05:00.000 the job of the opposition party in ottawa to offer an alternative and the reality is there's a great
00:05:06.600 alternative to be putting out there a vision for canada where we have a better relationship with
00:05:13.160 the united states where we avert economic crises where we build pipelines and infrastructure and
00:05:19.000 strengthen our economy and do all that with real allies that share our fundamental values 0.82
00:05:25.320 unlike communist china and that's what is at stake here what's at stake here is our own identity 0.70
00:05:34.240 do we allow the liberals to exploit the current economic crisis to change who we are as canadians
00:05:41.260 well my answer is no i don't want to give mark carney that power and that is why we must fight
00:05:48.980 for change. We cannot have the same people continue to be in charge over and over and
00:05:55.540 over again. And the evidence keeps accumulating that they are not good at this.
00:06:01.060 Mr. Giovanni is right in part of that clip, but he's wrong in the other. We'll get to that in
00:06:05.800 just a moment. And we're going to come back around to this article, which inspired this today. This
00:06:10.080 is not good news for Jamil Giovanni, Pierre Polyev, conservatism in this country. But Mr.
00:06:16.800 Giovanni talks off the top of that, saying that the conservatives are sort of the logical choice
00:06:22.100 when it comes to getting out of this mess. But of course, we're not talking about logical people
00:06:26.340 here, folks. Conservatives are logical, the people who are voting liberal, and there's a lot more of
00:06:31.120 them. We'll get to that article in just a moment. There's a lot more liberals out there who think
00:06:36.020 emotionally. Mr. Giovanni and Pierre Paulyev are not reading the room here. Here's a quote from
00:06:42.560 that clip, do we allow the liberals to exploit the current economic crisis to change who we are
00:06:47.540 as Canadians? Well, it's already happened. Where's Mr. Giovanni Bean? Look at this article right
00:06:54.100 here. He mentioned China in that clip. U.S. viewed less favorably than China by Canadians,
00:06:59.940 new poll suggests. And then there's this. This is Nanos. Canadians strongly support Canada,
00:07:05.480 strengthening economic and trade ties with the European Union. Close to three in five support
00:07:10.160 canada joining the eu mark carney was asked about this just within the last couple of days he didn't
00:07:17.840 deny that canada was going to join the eu on a side note if i may prime minister uh according
00:07:25.840 to the latest polling here in canada nearly 57 of canadians are somewhat supportive of a full eu
00:07:35.440 membership is this full membership on the cards for canada thank you very much second point maybe
00:07:42.080 i'll underscore what this means of course it means for our support of ukraine but it's also
00:07:49.920 indicative of canada's deepening relationship with european partners we have another example
00:07:55.680 with our being the sole non-european partner in safe the defense procurement mechanism as you know
00:08:01.440 We have it across commercial ties, research ties, people-to-people ties.
00:08:08.200 I don't want to front-run things, but we will be looking to use the coming months
00:08:14.940 to explore a deepening of that partnership across a broad range of areas,
00:08:20.640 and we'll have more to say to that in Strasbourg. 0.67
00:08:24.220 You know what's fascinating here is you've got these, it's almost stupid to say it anymore, 0.94
00:08:29.680 elbows up Canadians, waving their Canadian flags, the true patriots out there. Canada strong folks,
00:08:36.420 true North strong and free. We'll never be the 51st state. A large percentage of those people
00:08:42.160 right now would be fine if Carney handed us over to Brussels in the EU. They would lose their
00:08:49.960 sovereignty, their self-determination, control over natural resources, control over their government, 0.65
00:08:54.960 control over immigration. They would just hand it over and Mark Carney could do it right now.
00:08:59.140 they've been so brainwashed. He could do it right now and nobody would bat an eye. Isn't that
00:09:04.940 fascinating? And Jamil Giovanni is saying, we can't be changed who we are as Canadians. We
00:09:11.500 can't change our identity. It's already happened, folks. Here he is talking about the way the
00:09:16.140 liberals exploit us, referring to something that happened five years ago that the liberals learned
00:09:21.600 a lot about. They learned from, unlike the conservatives. And then he talks about people
00:09:27.000 who appease the liberals. And then I'm going to play a clip from Pierre Polyev. And what's he
00:09:32.280 doing in the United States? We have been here before. Look around at politics today in Canada
00:09:39.420 and it feels familiar. You have a liberal government exploiting a crisis for its political
00:09:46.100 benefit to act like it's above accountability and scrutiny. You have a media environment where
00:09:53.440 Canadians who disagree with liberals
00:09:55.260 on policy choices
00:09:56.640 are being smeared
00:09:58.560 and called trade-oots.
00:10:01.760 And you have people
00:10:03.340 who should be offering an alternative
00:10:05.280 to the liberals, instead
00:10:07.460 going out there to appease
00:10:09.540 people in positions of power.
00:10:12.160 What does that sound like?
00:10:13.480 Well, that sounds like what happened during COVID.
00:10:16.060 During COVID, liberals
00:10:17.480 exploited a real crisis.
00:10:20.220 The media
00:10:21.240 trashed anybody with a different point
00:10:23.300 of view. And a lot of people who should have had the spine to stand up to the liberals instead
00:10:29.280 wound up trying to appease the liberals in power. At least Giovanni's put two and two together,
00:10:35.460 understanding that the tactics they use during COVID, very similar to what they're doing now,
00:10:40.400 they're exploiting a crisis. Don't let a good crisis go to waste. Rahm Emanuel, remember,
00:10:45.640 that's what he said. The liberals learned this. You know, back during COVID, it was the threat was
00:10:51.040 getting sick, but it turned into the people pushing back against the mandates.
00:10:56.600 You know, I don't want to wear a mask. I don't want to stand on a dot. I don't want to have to
00:10:59.680 take an experimental drug to keep my job. I don't want to have to report to the government
00:11:03.840 if I leave and come back. You're the threat. Remember that? We won't have you sitting on
00:11:10.400 a plane or train with us or a bus. If you don't want to get vaccinated, that's your choice. But
00:11:16.380 I don't think you can get on a plane or a train beside vaccinated people. 0.93
00:11:22.440 That there will be consequences for those people in not being able to go to a gym or a restaurant, 0.97
00:11:30.200 not being able to go to a movie theater, not being able to get on a train or a plane.
00:11:34.880 And Mr. Giovanni is right in that clip saying we've got to fight back against the liberals.
00:11:39.760 We need to have the spine to speak out against the liberals.
00:11:42.900 We shouldn't appease the liberals.
00:11:44.480 and I'm going to come back around to this article. It's coming in just a moment. I'll
00:11:47.880 read a little bit of it to you. It's not good. Mr. Poliev, who leads Mr. Giovanni's party,
00:11:53.360 I don't think he's really learned anything. Are things getting better? You know, you expected
00:11:57.620 the poll numbers to start to even out a little bit. Things aren't going well in Canada right
00:12:01.520 now, folks. Pierre Poliev could be the last leader of the Conservative Party in this country.
00:12:05.960 God knows we might have a liberal government for the rest of time. That's sort of the theme of this
00:12:11.440 video right now. But Paulyev goes over to the United States and instead of, you know, fighting
00:12:16.080 back and criticizing the government for what it's done, he goes over and he appeases Mark Carney
00:12:21.340 and the liberals. Do you believe, though, that Mark Carney was acting in good faith
00:12:26.820 in those negotiations? I ask because one of the things you kept hearing from the Trump
00:12:31.100 administration and Howard Lutnick in particular was that he was not. Well, look, I'm not going to
00:12:37.600 attack my prime minister on foreign soil it's just not something i'm going to do my mission here would
00:12:42.480 you attack you but you would attack him on your own soil well you can you can look up the debates
00:12:46.360 of the house of commons no i know that's why i'm the opposition leader that that's what the word
00:12:51.500 i'm so i'm curious as you saw this play itself out where you assigned blame for for lack of a
00:12:59.140 better word well look let's be honest the the administration hit us with tariffs first and
00:13:04.560 everything escalated thereafter. And my mission here is to fight for my country, not to score
00:13:11.640 political points domestically. Politics ends at the border. And what I think we need to do now is
00:13:19.160 leverage the single biggest asset Canada has in the U.S., which is our friendship with the
00:13:23.920 American people who overwhelmingly love Canada. What Mr. Paliyev doesn't seem to understand,
00:13:29.480 and Mr. Giovanni as well, talking about being friends with Americans, they don't understand,
00:13:33.520 I guess, that Americans might like Canadians, but it's not reciprocal. He's asked at the beginning
00:13:40.900 of that clip about the trade deal that died at the last minute. The Americans said it was the
00:13:44.800 Canadians' fault. Carney and the liberals say it was the Americans' fault, but it was the
00:13:49.320 Canadians' fault that died. Carney and the liberals were reading the room. They knew it would drive up
00:13:54.140 their poll numbers. This was the best thing that happened to the Liberal Party, other than maybe
00:13:59.260 Donald Trump every once in a while floating out 50 first state. Here's the article that I was
00:14:04.640 talking about. Mark Carney's support surge coming largely from former conservatives' poll fines.
00:14:10.240 Mr. Poliev and the Conservative Party are in deep, deep trouble right now. I don't know what could
00:14:16.240 pull them out of this. There's talk of changing leadership. I don't think that's going to make
00:14:21.420 much difference. Prime Minister Mark Carney's sustained surge in the polls is coming predominantly
00:14:25.680 from former conservatives, according to new figures published by the Angus Reid Institute.
00:14:31.140 According to a new poll published on Thursday, 13% of respondents who voted conservative in 2025
00:14:36.640 would now vote for a Carney-led Liberal Party if given the chance. Now, that may not sound like a
00:14:41.760 lot, but given that a record 8.1 million Canadians voted conservative in the last federal election,
00:14:47.040 remember that? That works out to an exodus equivalent to one million votes, more than
00:14:54.560 enough to flit dozens of Conservative writings across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Among Liberal
00:14:59.920 voters, meanwhile, the poll couldn't identify a single respondent who had since switched their
00:15:05.420 allegiance to the Bloc. He talked about the Bloc Québécois. Just above that, the new Angus Reid
00:15:11.380 Institute poll puts the Liberals at 46 percent to the Conservatives 32 percent. Two weeks ago,
00:15:17.860 a Liaison Strategies poll found much the same. Liberals at 46 against 29 for the Conservatives.
00:15:24.560 Listen to this. A seat projection of the liaison results by election modeler Raymond Liu showed it translating to a liberal caucus of 239 seats, 69.8% of the House of Commons as compared to the slim 50.5% of seats they enjoy now.
00:15:43.320 You don't think they want to go to a snap election in the new year?
00:15:46.200 You don't think they're going to ride this trouble we've got with trade with the United States right into the new year to the detriment of every Canadian and Canadian businesses and the economy?
00:15:55.540 You don't think they're going to do this?
00:15:58.020 Just a bit more of this.
00:16:01.100 A separate Angus Reid Institute poll released this week found that Carney's late summer rejection of U.S. trade terms resulted in skyrocketing approval for both the liberals and him personally.
00:16:12.400 Before the deal tanked, Carney was sitting at 51% approval. Immediately afterwards, it surged to 62%.
00:16:21.440 Things are not looking good in Canada. You know, that article even goes on to say that
00:16:27.480 he's got a majority approval in Alberta now. And if you've lost Alberta, you've lost your country.
00:16:33.880 You may have lost the Conservative Party. What was it Jimil Giovanni said in that clip off the top?
00:16:39.540 I don't want to give Mark Carney that power.
00:16:42.940 I don't want to give Mark Carney that power.
00:16:45.640 Well, unfortunately, Mr. Giovanni, he's already got it.
00:16:49.880 Thanks for watching.
00:16:50.800 If you like this video, probably not if you're a conservative,
00:16:54.060 but if you liked it, I'd really appreciate it
00:16:56.120 if you could give it a thumbs up.
00:16:57.600 I'm really close to 55,000 subscribers.
00:17:00.540 If you would please subscribe, I would appreciate that as well.
00:17:04.100 Thank you very much for watching.
00:17:05.720 I'll see you in the next one.
