00:00:00.160 Be sure to watch to the end because I think this is going to blow your mind.
00:00:10.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 5am.
00:00:13.180 Hope you're having a great start to your Thursday, August the 21st with the Big Blue Mug of Coffee.
00:00:18.680 And today I want to touch on a couple of stories in a different way than I think other people are covering.
00:00:24.400 These stories have been rather prevalent over the last, I guess, 24 to 48 hours.
00:00:28.300 And you may have been following both of them.
00:00:30.240 One of them in particular might have you mad.
00:00:32.380 And every time this situation pops up in Canada, and it happens far too often, I get mad about this.
00:00:37.780 Now, both of these stories are connected in a couple of different ways.
00:00:41.040 I think the first connection is self-defense.
00:00:44.580 But the second one, I think, is how the government uses these things to rule over you.
00:00:50.980 Okay, we'll get to that in just a moment.
00:00:52.680 So what are the stories?
00:00:55.280 The first story is this one.
00:00:56.880 Now, this is from Juno News.
00:00:59.940 Carney doubles down on Trudeau-era gun grab.
00:01:03.780 Guest host Chris Sims exposes the Liberals' billion-dollar gun grab, an attack on private property that won't stop gang crime.
00:01:10.900 Now, here is your public safety minister, Gary Ananda Sangary, tweeting out just yesterday on the same issue.
00:01:18.300 Thank you to London Police Deputy Chief Trina McSween and the media office for hosting me and my colleague.
00:01:24.040 We spoke about issues top of mind for Londoners and expanding the gun buyback program, an important step to keep Canadians safe.
00:01:31.180 It does everything but keep Canadians safe.
00:01:33.320 Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens does nothing to keep Canadians safe.
00:01:38.640 Criminals do not hand in their guns.
00:01:41.620 Okay, this is liberal think here.
00:01:43.860 Now, what's the other story?
00:01:46.820 Well, it's this story right here.
00:01:48.520 And I have no doubt you've got some comments on this one.
00:01:52.340 Doug Ford says something is broken after Ontario man charged with assaulting armed home intruder.
00:01:58.540 Kawartha Lakes Police say the alleged intruder suffered serious life-threatening injuries during an altercation with the occupant.
00:02:05.120 My comments on this story in just a moment, I'm going to tie this in with a lot of things going on in this country as well that you're not going to see anywhere else.
00:02:13.780 But let's give Doug Ford a little credit here.
00:02:16.780 He's speaking out on this issue, which makes me really mad.
00:02:21.360 Here he is speaking about it yesterday in a news conference.
00:02:25.060 Did everyone hear about the story in Lindsay?
00:02:26.780 So this criminal that's wanted by the police breaks into this guy's house, this guy gives him a beating, and this guy gets charged.
00:02:37.300 And the other guy gets charged.
00:02:39.000 But, like, something is broken.
00:02:41.760 I know if someone breaks into my house or someone else's, you're going to fight for your life.
00:02:46.840 This guy has a weapon.
00:02:47.920 You're going to use any force you possibly can to protect your family.
00:02:53.160 I'm telling you, I know everyone would.
00:02:54.740 We beat up on Doug Ford a lot here, but good for him for speaking out on this issue.
00:03:00.180 I mean, if somebody breaks into your home, are you looking for proportionate force when it comes to neutralizing the person in your home?
00:03:07.480 I'm not.
00:03:08.900 I immediately thought about the SSS situation.
00:03:13.500 And if you live on a cattle farm, you might know what SSS means.
00:03:16.320 I'm not going to say it here, but that's what I thought about.
00:03:19.380 I'm not going to give a damn about the consequences.
00:03:22.280 I'm going to neutralize that person, and that person is probably going to get beaten within an inch of their life.
00:03:27.560 And you're probably the same way.
00:03:28.720 This maddens me when I see stuff like this happening.
00:03:31.600 And these things are connected.
00:03:32.620 Gun control.
00:03:34.740 And you have no right to self-defense.
00:03:36.680 Justin Trudeau said, we don't have a right to self-defense in our Constitution, and we should.
00:03:40.540 But I think these things are connected in another way.
00:03:43.660 This is the way I started thinking about things last night.
00:03:45.380 This is going to blow your mind.
00:03:47.980 These are just two things.
00:03:49.860 But I thought I'd go to chat GPT and list a lot of other things together that the liberal government is doing and find out what the end game is here.
00:03:59.240 So I recorded this earlier.
00:04:01.100 After putting this into chat GPT, let's find out what chat had to say.
00:04:06.160 Can you explain to me a government that seems to be consciously causing the following list of issues and tell me what the end game might be?
00:04:14.460 Impose strict gun control.
00:04:16.140 Remove the right to self-defense and make it illegal.
00:04:18.960 Take control of the media.
00:04:20.480 Restrict movement of the public.
00:04:22.140 Limit free speech.
00:04:23.380 Run up massive government debt.
00:04:25.140 Control public education.
00:04:26.960 Drive up the cost of living.
00:04:28.700 Massively increase immigration.
00:04:30.660 Declare a crisis.
00:04:31.800 And here's what chat GPT had to say.
00:04:34.200 The list you've given describes a government that isn't simply mishandling policy but appears to be deliberately restructuring society to centralize power in its own hands.
00:04:44.740 Each item weakens individual autonomy, strengthens state dominance, and destabilizes society in ways that make people more dependent on authority.
00:04:53.520 Let's walk through it, then look at the likely end game.
00:04:56.620 Step-by-step, number one, impose strict gun control, removes the most direct form of resistance, ensures the government has a monopoly on force.
00:05:04.820 Number two, remove the right to self-defense and make it illegal.
00:05:09.060 Criminalizes personal independence, forces people to rely exclusively on the state for protection.
00:05:15.460 Number three, take control of the media.
00:05:17.860 Controls what people see, hear, and believe.
00:05:20.780 Turns journalism into propaganda.
00:05:23.000 Prevents alternative narratives from spreading.
00:05:25.180 Four, restrict movement of the public.
00:05:28.040 Limits the ability to organize, protest, or escape.
00:05:31.400 Paves the way for surveillance systems, digital IDs, and travel restrictions.
00:05:36.180 Five, limit free speech. 0.96
00:05:38.440 Silences critics.
00:05:39.900 Instills fear in the population about speaking openly.
00:05:43.260 Leaves only state-approved messages visible.
00:05:46.480 Six, run up massive government debt.
00:05:49.120 Creates permanent economic instability.
00:05:51.400 Justifies higher taxes, inflation, or austerity, which increase control.
00:05:56.620 Transfers influence to elites and financial institutions aligned with the state.
00:06:01.460 Seven, control public education.
00:06:04.140 Shapes future generations into obedient citizens.
00:06:07.380 Rewrites history and civics to fit state ideology.
00:06:10.620 Weakens family, cultural, or religious influence in favor of loyalty to government.
00:06:15.860 Eight, drive up the cost of living. 0.96
00:06:17.980 Keeps people focused on survival rather than resistance.
00:06:22.120 Exhausts the middle class, making them easier to control. 0.99
00:06:25.660 Nine, massively increase immigration. 0.75
00:06:28.520 Alters demographics and voting bases.
00:06:31.120 Creates social divisions and cultural friction.
00:06:33.700 Weakening unity.
00:06:35.200 Justifies expanding government bureaucracy and emergency policies.
00:06:39.960 Ten, declare a crisis.
00:06:41.900 Allows suspension of rights and expansion of state powers.
00:06:45.000 Keeps the public fearful and compliant.
00:06:46.820 Justifies measures that would never be accepted under normal conditions.
00:06:51.680 The end game.
00:06:52.780 All of these together point to a clear destination.
00:06:55.860 One, total self-centralization of power.
00:06:58.720 Political, economic, cultural, and social control is consolidated at the top.
00:07:03.680 Two, elimination of resistance.
00:07:05.820 Citizens are disarmed, censored, tracked, and kept divided.
00:07:09.560 Three, dependence on the state.
00:07:11.460 People must rely on government for security, income, education, and even the truth itself.
00:07:16.600 Four, rule by crisis.
00:07:19.180 Emergency powers become permanent, ensuring the government can always expand its reach.
00:07:24.240 The ultimate end game is authoritarianism.
00:07:27.160 A system where individual freedoms exist only when they don't threaten the regime.
00:07:32.160 Sometimes this takes the form of soft totalitarianism, where people still think they're free,
00:07:37.520 but every aspect of life is managed, or hard totalitarianism and open dictatorship.
00:07:44.160 In either case, the goal is the same.
00:07:46.980 Control through dependency, fear, and division.
00:07:50.360 What's happening right now are not the actions of a government that wants to govern for you.
00:07:58.000 They're the actions of a government that wants to rule over you, to control you.
00:08:04.780 Does this seem like the country you're living in right now?
00:08:07.520 Well, it sure seems that way to me.
00:08:10.560 Thanks so much for watching.
00:08:12.000 I hope you enjoyed the video.
