00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 444 a.m. on Monday, February 24th with the big blue mug of coffee.
00:00:07.240 Hope you're having a great day today and I have a question for you right off the top.
00:00:12.160 Think about this for a moment.
00:00:14.500 Do you believe the Liberal Party of Canada would sacrifice you as a Canadian taxpayer and the Canadian economy to maintain power in Canada?
00:00:24.260 Think about that.
00:00:24.980 I also have some questions for Mark Carney today because he's the big dog, folks.
00:00:30.400 We all know that he's going to be the next leader of the Liberal Party and the next Prime Minister of the country.
00:00:36.280 And who cares?
00:00:37.860 It'll be interesting to hear what they say, but who really cares what Chrystia Freeland, Frank Bayless, and Karina Gould say in these two debates?
00:00:44.080 Everybody's waiting to hear what Carney has to say.
00:00:47.520 A little housekeeping before I move on.
00:00:49.340 Thanks so much for watching yesterday's video.
00:00:51.860 39,000 plus have watched that one.
00:00:54.100 I almost made it to 10,000 subscribers.
00:00:56.560 So if you feel inclined today, please click on subscribe.
00:00:59.100 It'd be a great accomplishment to get this channel over 10,000.
00:01:02.320 Thanks so much for watching.
00:01:03.920 I do appreciate it very much.
00:01:05.820 The other thing I wanted to mention was yesterday I wasn't accurate.
00:01:08.440 I made a mistake.
00:01:09.420 Hannah Thebedo, the former CBC host, will be moderating the English debate.
00:01:15.520 That's going to work out well, isn't it?
00:01:17.880 Former CBC host talking to a bunch of Liberals on stage.
00:01:20.880 So the question I asked you, do you think the Liberals would sacrifice you as a Canadian taxpayer and the Canadian economy to maintain power?
00:01:27.900 Because I think that's their plan.
00:01:30.660 I think it's been their plan ever since we started hearing about tariffs from down south.
00:01:35.120 And I have a couple of reasons for thinking this.
00:01:37.360 First, in about 10 days we're supposed to have tariffs coming in.
00:01:41.060 I think it's March 4th.
00:01:42.720 I think that's the date.
00:01:45.440 And have we fulfilled our obligations to Donald Trump and the Americans when it comes to securing our border?
00:01:50.640 I haven't heard much about that.
00:01:51.720 Trudeau hasn't even been in the country.
00:01:53.640 Who's running the country right now?
00:01:55.480 But have we fulfilled our obligations?
00:01:57.260 And we're going to find out in 10 days that Donald Trump says, you haven't done anything.
00:02:02.620 I haven't seen any movement on the border.
00:02:05.020 So your tariffs are coming in.
00:02:06.520 I think the Liberals want to see that happen.
00:02:09.580 And the other reason I think they want to see it happen is what we're going to see over the next couple of nights.
00:02:14.300 Because as well as hearing Pierre Polyev, and that's what my video was about yesterday,
00:02:18.420 how the CBC was involved in getting Ruby Dalla thrown out of the Liberal leadership race.
00:02:23.920 She's the only person who would have spoken up on stage against Mark Carney.
00:02:27.440 She's gone.
00:02:28.360 But the other thing was, Polyev better be prepared for an onslaught over the next couple of nights.
00:02:33.420 He better be prepared because they're going to go after him big time.
00:02:37.100 When you look at email that come in from the Liberal Party, and I get them all because I'm a Liberal Party member,
00:02:42.380 they mostly talk about Polyev, but Trump is the second name you see in their email.
00:02:48.520 How critical are they going to be of Donald Trump tonight?
00:02:51.040 How insulting are they going to be to Donald Trump tonight?
00:02:55.460 Now, I don't believe Donald Trump wakes up in the morning thinking much about Canada.
00:03:00.200 But I'll bet that he's going to have somebody watching this debate tonight.
00:03:03.700 Because one of those people on stage tonight is going to be the next Prime Minister of the country.
00:03:09.160 And he's going to have to talk to that person.
00:03:11.000 How insulting will these four people be on stage tonight?
00:03:14.140 And it could be very insulting because, again, I think the Liberals are willing to sacrifice you and the economy to maintain power.
00:03:23.080 And the best way for them to do that is to talk tough about Donald Trump.
00:03:27.620 And, strangely enough, and as awful as it sounds, having Donald Trump imposed tariffs on the country.
00:03:34.880 So think about that.
00:03:35.900 Now, as far as Mark Carney goes, I have some questions for Mark Carney.
00:03:41.900 Let's go over here to an article that's in the Toronto Sun today.
00:03:46.600 A great article, by the way, written by Brian Lilly.
00:03:50.420 Now, here it is right here.
00:03:52.200 Carney, a threat to our economy, just like Trump.
00:03:56.080 A big threat from Trump isn't just the tariffs.
00:03:58.720 It's changing the American economy.
00:04:00.540 Something incoming PM Mark Carney won't be doing, meaning lost jobs.
00:04:05.740 And it's a really good article on how Carney is going to be a nightmare when it comes to Canada with his plans.
00:04:13.900 Now, if you go down here, here is a tweet from yesterday, February 23rd, 534 a.m.
00:04:20.520 Let's read this.
00:04:21.280 Let's put this in blunt terms for Canadians.
00:04:24.340 If Trump reduces regulations and takes the corporate tax rate down to 15%, matching our effective rate,
00:04:31.120 and we have Mark Carney and his industrial carbon tax, tariffs won't matter.
00:04:35.840 We will be screwed. 0.61
00:04:36.840 Here's Donald Trump.
00:04:38.140 To further turbocharge our economy, we have launched the most aggressive deregulation program in any nation's history.
00:04:47.160 And we're also going to be seeking the largest tax cuts in American history.
00:04:51.720 Again, we brought them down, as you know, from close to 40% down to 21%.
00:04:58.740 Now we're bringing them down to 15% if you make your product in the United States of America.
00:05:05.720 It's a great article.
00:05:07.060 I'll put a link in the description so you can read the whole thing.
00:05:09.600 I think Brian Lilly has been really on his game as of late.
00:05:12.420 He's doing great work.
00:05:13.460 Let's go back to his article just quickly here.
00:05:15.340 In Canada, we have a high regulatory burden, and our biggest trading partner and competitor for investments is about to have a much lower burden.
00:05:23.620 That will make Canada less attractive to investment and to executives making decisions on where to expand or locate plants.
00:05:30.420 The same on taxes.
00:05:31.460 And if we go down here, a few weeks ago, in Halifax, liberal leadership hopeful Mark Carney announced he would get rid of the consumer carbon tax,
00:05:38.740 but then said he'd make up the difference by increasing the industrial carbon tax.
00:05:42.160 We will get the big polluters to pay for it, Carney said.
00:05:44.900 So the big polluters are the big businesses.
00:05:47.280 He's going to tax the bejesus out of them when it comes to the carbon tax. 1.00
00:05:50.040 It will probably go up every year like it has with your carbon tax every April 1st, but you're going to pay for it anyway.
00:05:55.900 Plus, he's going to put tariffs on anything that comes into the country that doesn't live up to his climate change zealotry.
00:06:01.580 And my question for Mark Carney tonight, if I were the moderator, maybe you would ask this question.
00:06:05.820 Are you still a proponent of net zero?
00:06:09.860 No, I don't think anybody's asked him that question.
00:06:11.760 Let's go back to his X account.
00:06:13.240 I'm not sure if this is his actual X account right now, because he may have another one, because he's running to be the prime minister.
00:06:19.140 But here he is.
00:06:19.920 What's the date on this?
00:06:21.420 February 26, 2021.
00:06:23.280 Mark Carney.
00:06:24.120 On the critical role of renewables and science-based targets in winning the race to net zero, please see my statement for Brookfield.
00:06:29.620 And here it is right here.
00:06:30.720 To be clear, I have always been and will continue to be a strong advocate for net zero science-based targets.
00:06:36.860 Are you an advocate of net zero?
00:06:38.460 Where does your allegiance lie, Mr. Carney, with rebuilding the Canadian economy, getting our renewables out of the ground, including oil and gas, or making money for you and your buddies when it comes to net zero?
00:06:49.380 Because I think we need to have those questions answered.
00:06:51.600 Does he really think imposing carbon tariffs on things coming into the country is the right thing for Canada right now?
00:07:05.740 You think Donald Trump is going to like that?
00:07:08.100 He headed up a group.
00:07:09.760 Here it is right here.
00:07:11.600 Glasgow Financial Alliance for net zero.
00:07:13.840 What did they do?
00:07:16.460 They discouraged anybody from investing, banks, in the oil and gas industry.
00:07:20.660 That's what he's done.
00:07:21.540 And Alberta, where I live, has suffered because of it.
00:07:26.960 Canada has suffered because of it.
00:07:28.420 Because of this man.
00:07:29.860 Where do you stand?
00:07:30.480 Where do you stand on Energy East?
00:07:33.780 Where do you stand on Energy East?
00:07:35.440 Because it changes depending on where he's standing in the country.
00:07:38.880 Out in BC, oh yeah, all for Energy East.
00:07:41.400 They're calling it the West-East Pipeline now.
00:07:43.240 Out in Quebec, where the Parti Quebecois and Bloc Quebecois leaders are against oil and gas.
00:07:47.740 They're climate cultists as well.
00:07:50.520 No, and when he's speaking French, he's against the oil pipeline out here.
00:07:54.480 Out coming from the West to the East. 0.78
00:07:56.800 Even though Quebecers are in favor of it.
00:07:58.560 So these are questions that need to be asked.
00:08:00.080 Where do your allegiances fly, Mr. Carney?
00:08:03.440 It's going to be interesting to see what happens.
00:08:05.780 And how he answers some of these questions.
00:08:07.260 And what the other three say as well.
00:08:09.040 I think that's going to be interesting.
00:08:11.620 But watch for Trump. 0.54
00:08:12.780 Polly have to be bashed like you wouldn't believe over the next couple of nights. 1.00
00:08:16.760 And then they'll put the crown on, Mr. Carney.
00:08:19.140 And he'll be the next Prime Minister of Canada.
00:08:21.200 And who knows when the election's going to be.
00:08:24.280 Hopefully sooner before later.
00:08:25.860 Thanks so much for watching.
00:08:26.900 I do appreciate it.
00:08:27.940 If you liked the video, please give me a thumbs up.
