00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel 426 in the morning, Saturday, April the 25th.
00:00:08.860 I hope you're having a great start to your Saturday and your weekend as well with the
00:00:12.400 big blue mug of coffee, which I tipped to you today.
00:00:15.940 I was out last night watching Jason Levine's movie called The Shot, Sean Hartman's story.
00:00:21.620 It is outstanding, very well done.
00:00:24.320 I would recommend it to anyone.
00:00:26.800 And I left there about 10 o'clock, 10.15 last night and went to bed.
00:00:31.660 I got up this morning and the first thing that popped up on X for me was this tweet from Jason Levine from four hours earlier.
00:00:39.640 And this talking about this tweet right here, but it's the part at the bottom that's important.
00:00:45.780 The case for a united Canada with Jason Kenney, former premier of Alberta, and Corey Hogan, MP, Calgary Confederation.
00:00:54.160 they forgot to put that Corey Hogan is a Liberal. Jason writes, it's official, Jason Kenney has
00:01:00.720 effectively crossed the floor to the Liberals. He's teamed up with Liberal MP Corey Hogan to
00:01:05.600 try and make the case for United Canada to Albertans. When they walk like a Liberal,
00:01:10.060 talk like a Liberal, smell like a Liberal, they are a Liberal. Well said to Jason. It's interesting
00:01:16.120 that I saw this pop up this morning because I was asked to do an interview with Nat and the guy,
00:01:21.920 two young people who have a podcast. I would suggest you subscribe to it. They're very,
00:01:26.920 very smart young people. And they left Canada a couple of years ago because Canada had failed
00:01:31.480 them. And they were talking to me about the independence movement yesterday, asking me
00:01:35.640 one of the barriers or what are the barriers we've got when it comes to independence. And I said,
00:01:40.220 it's people who wrap themselves in the flag. I've called it patriotism. People say they don't want
00:01:45.140 independence because they're patriotic, but they wrap themselves in the Canadian flag. And I said
00:01:50.020 to them, these are people who believe in a Canada that no longer exists. And I said that there are
00:01:57.120 a lot of politicians who feel the same way. I also said that politics makes strange bedfellows and
00:02:03.480 that we're going to start seeing the alignment of people who would never work together, much like
00:02:07.880 Jason Kenney working with liberal Corey Hogan. He's going to start working with Mark Carney. He's
00:02:12.800 going to start working with Nahed Nanshi, the head of the NDP here in Alberta, the Conservative Party
00:02:17.640 of Canada, the Liberal Party of Canada, Pierre Polyev will all start working together to try to
00:02:22.880 stop Alberta independence. People like Jason Kenney are trying to write themselves back into the game.
00:02:28.060 He was shown the door a number of years ago by Albertans, much like Thomas Lukasik, who is trying
00:02:33.820 to write himself back in the game by heading up the Forever Canadian campaign here in Alberta.
00:02:38.940 You know, Mark Carney has been trying to sell to Canadians over the last year unity. There is no
00:02:43.840 unity in Canada, it is more divided than ever. But when it comes to politicians wrapping themselves
00:02:49.160 in the flag, it is far more sinister. You need to think of it from this standpoint. If Alberta
00:02:55.420 slips through their fingers, they can see their influence slipping away. They can see their false
00:03:01.360 narrative of unity slipping away, which Carney has been trying to sell us. They can see control
00:03:06.640 slipping away. They can see their party slipping away. They can see their ideology slipping away,
00:03:11.460 their bureaucracies, their relevance, and yes, their money slipping away.
00:03:17.780 They don't suddenly agree on the same thing because Alberta is wrong.
00:03:23.140 They agree because Alberta is dangerous to them.
00:03:27.040 Independence shrinks their power, cuts off their money flow,
00:03:30.920 and proves the system they built can be walked away from.
00:03:33.920 People who never align like Carney, Pollyev, Kenny, Nehedenchi,
00:03:38.060 the Liberal Party of Canada, the Conservative Party, and others who will align against us
00:03:43.040 suddenly find common ground when the system that feeds their influence is on the line.
00:03:47.200 It's not unity. It is self-preservation. Let me ask you this question if you live outside
00:03:52.220 of Alberta. Is Alberta the threat to your country or are the people who align themselves to try to
00:03:59.020 stop Alberta the threat? Because they don't do it for Canadian unity. They do it for self-preservation.
00:04:05.900 Let me know what you think.
00:04:07.300 If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, ring the bell
00:04:11.380 for notifications.
00:04:12.300 I will see you in the next one.
