John Bolton - They Wanted Venezuela Freed… Until Trump Did It

00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John, and welcome to the channel, 342 AM, Monday, January the 5th. I hope you're having

00:00:08.060 a great start to your Monday morning. I surely am here with the big blue mug of coffee. I

00:00:13.220 appreciate you being here. I really do. And you know, a lot of people who come to channels

00:00:17.480 regularly, they'd never hit subscribe on the channel. I see that on my channel as well.

00:00:22.560 You'd be doing me a big favor if you would click on subscribe. Thank you very much. I appreciate it.

00:00:27.880 Okay. So yesterday, I was pretty busy in the morning. I got a video out early in the morning

00:00:33.660 joking about Canada becoming the 52nd state. And also put a video out the independence calendar

00:00:41.560 for Alberta independence. But I followed the news somewhat in the afternoon. I try to stay off

00:00:46.760 social media because it rots your brain. The world would be a better place without social media. I've

00:00:52.200 said that. I think it's very toxic. I'm kind of saddened by the way things are going right now.

00:00:58.740 And I'm talking about the fallout from Donald Trump going into Venezuela, removing Maduro and his wife,

00:01:05.400 surgical precision of the United States of America, an astounding thing, freeing the Venezuelan people

00:01:12.020 from socialism and a brutal dictatorship. And the way that the left are trying to spin this into

00:01:19.260 more hatred of the United States of America. Of course, their Trump derangement syndrome is in

00:01:25.260 full flight these days. And they're trying to drum up fear again. The fear campaign is back. It's

00:01:31.180 something I've noticed. People online on YouTube talking about the hypocrisy of people on the left,

00:01:38.220 and they're right. It's not that they're wrong, but you see the word hypocrisy a lot when it comes to

00:01:42.760 them talking about the media in Canada. Here's Andrew Coyne. Now, this goes back just a little

00:01:49.320 over a year. This is a tweet by him. Where is Canada? The people of Venezuela need us,

00:01:55.140 and our government is still at the stage of asking the Maduro government to show its work.

00:02:01.380 And this is Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado. Here's another one from Coyne

00:02:06.860 from September, just a little over a year ago. Canada still hasn't recognized the likely winner

00:02:12.200 of Venezuela's election. Venezuelans want to know why. And the winner wasn't Maduro. He doesn't win.

00:02:17.820 He steals elections. And the people of Venezuela, they suffered because of it. And they've been

00:02:24.320 suffering for years as Canada and other countries have looked the other way. And we have virtue

00:02:30.180 signalers like Andrew Coyne talking about how the Venezuelans need our help. And now if you go to

00:02:36.280 Andrew Coyne on X, it's just constant Trump derangement syndrome and how awful this is that

00:02:41.900 Donald Trump has actually done something good for the Venezuelan people. And they're happy about this.

00:02:47.820 You've got hypocrites like Coyne, but there are other media people in this country who seem to think 0.96

00:02:53.000 certain politicians in this country have to form an opinion on removing an evil dictator from Venezuela 0.97

00:03:00.860 Venezuela on their future in politics in Canada. Case in point, these two guys.

00:03:08.820 John Iveson, who writes regularly with the National Post. Bruce Arthur with the Toronto Star. We'll go

00:03:14.620 with Iveson first here because Arthur is responding to him. I think sodding with Donald Trump at this

00:03:19.920 moment in history of our planet is a pretty dumb move for any Canadian politician. 0.97

00:03:27.060 He's responding to Polly F. 0.97

00:03:29.380 Congratulations to President Trump on successfully arresting narco-terrorist and socialist dictator 1.00

00:03:35.000 Nicolas Maduro, who should live out his days in prison. The legitimate winner of the most recent

00:03:40.300 Venezuelan elections, Edmundo Gonzalez, should take office along with the courageous hero and voice

00:03:46.060 of the Venezuelan people, Maria Corina Machado, down with socialism, long live freedom. What does

00:03:52.000 Bruce Arthur say? It's worse than dumb at any point in the past 10 years. But it's at best incredibly 0.98

00:04:01.400 dumb now. At worst, it carries the whiff of treason with it. Now, these two idiots seem to think that 1.00

00:04:07.360 Pierre Polly runs out for a focus group on what he should decide has happened in Venezuela 1.00

00:04:13.080 with the removal of an evil dictator. These people have no souls.

00:04:21.040 Now, as far as focus groups go, who should Pierre Polly be listening to here? I'm sure Mark Carney went to

00:04:26.880 a focus group to sit on the fence on this one because that's what he's kind of done.

00:04:33.380 Polly has a focus group. In case you've forgotten, he has a focus group. A focus group of one. And it's his

00:04:41.580 wife. Where is Pierre Polly's wife from? Well, she just happens to be born in Caracas, Venezuela.

00:04:52.440 And she escaped the country in 95. When she was eight years old, her family moved as refugees to

00:04:58.400 Pointe-au-Trembla, a borough in East Montreal. I'm sure Pierre Polly understands what's going on

00:05:04.220 Venezuela. More than people like Andrew Coyne and John Iverson and Bruce Arthur.

00:05:13.580 Now, I have it on good authority. Very good authority. Somebody I know works with people who

00:05:21.640 are from Venezuela. I think the number is about eight million people who have fleed Venezuela to get

00:05:27.360 away. Probably like Pierre Polly's wife, Anna did. But she said they would regularly ship off suitcases

00:05:35.560 of toilet paper and condoms to Venezuela. And I said, well, I understand the toilet paper. It's one

00:05:42.080 of the first things that you don't have in a socialist hell hole like Venezuela under a dictator 0.85

00:05:46.420 like Maduro. Why the condoms? Because they didn't want to have any children. 0.79

00:05:50.200 Now, I'm sure many of you are old enough to remember when this kind of thing was regular.

00:06:00.100 Venezuelans eating animals. Starving people now eating the zoo animals. This is AI telling us this

00:06:06.600 is confirmed. This happened. And they were eating the dog food as well. Mark Carney, this yesterday,

00:06:16.320 I guess it was. I spoke with Maria Carina Machado today. I affirmed Canada's support for a peaceful

00:06:22.120 Venezuelan-led transition of power. One that respects the democratic will of the Venezuelan

00:06:26.920 people. Well, well done. Wyatt Claypool, National Telegraph. Go over and support his YouTube channel.

00:06:32.360 He wanted 100,000 people by the end of the last year. He hasn't got there. Go support this young man.

00:06:37.720 Very smart. Affirmed Canada's support, in quotes. Dude, you undermined what the United States did

00:06:43.800 by implying it didn't respect international law. If it was up to you, Venezuela would never be free

00:06:50.480 of its dictatorship. Now, how is this being used? We went through a campaign of fear with the Liberal

00:07:00.280 Party. I've said here so many times before, I didn't think I'd be back at this point this early

00:07:05.260 in the year. But we're back again to the campaign of fear about Donald Trump and the people going on

00:07:12.440 and on about, look, he went into Venezuela. He's coming here next, folks. Be afraid. Be afraid of

00:07:18.420 Donald Trump coming in and getting Mark Carney and his wife in Ottawa, hauling him off and putting

00:07:23.860 him in chains and stealing all our oil. That's what we're hearing now. Here's Charlie Angus, the NDP

00:07:29.700 nutcase. We see this attack on Venezuela as setting the stage for an attack where Donald Trump could go

00:07:37.340 anywhere. The same language he's used against Venezuela, he's used against us, a democratic

00:07:42.100 nation. And he sees that we have immense resources. The difference is this time, Donald, good luck

00:07:48.080 trying to think that you are going to intimidate or break the Canadian people. It's not going to happen.

00:07:52.980 Just to be clear, Charlie Angus is no longer an NDP MP. He didn't run for re-election. But just to give

00:07:59.440 you an idea who this guy really is, because this is what I remember about him. This is an article

00:08:03.880 Brian Lilly wrote. This is from February of two years ago now, I guess you could say.

00:08:09.400 If you speak up in favor of the fossil fuel industry, NDP MP Charlie Angus wants to send

00:08:14.200 you to jail. So you know the kind of tyrant you're dealing with when it comes to people like Charlie

00:08:19.020 Angus, who's a bit of a hypocrite himself because he actually has been critical of Maduro before.

00:08:24.280 But the thing you need to understand, and I was thinking as that clip was playing, people like Andrew 0.91

00:08:31.140 Coyne and Bruce Arthur and John Iverson and Charlie Angus and the other people who are losing their

00:08:35.760 minds because what happened the other day, these people hate Donald Trump more than they want to 0.76

00:08:42.580 save millions of people from a socialist hellhole and a communist dictator. That's the people you're

00:08:49.420 dealing with here. Nice people, huh? And the person that they vilify, the person that they go after

00:08:56.900 is the only person, the only federal leader. And I used this phrase the other day, the only federal

00:09:04.280 leader with the moral clarity on this issue. And he's the only one who has a Venezuelan wife. 0.63
