00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. It is Wednesday, January 15th at 5 16 a.m. with the big
00:00:06.140 blue mug of coffee and I always say be skeptical. Don't believe everything you hear and I guess
00:00:14.060 today you should not believe everything you see. You can be fooled by that as well and I'm always
00:00:19.480 skeptical particularly when it comes to the media. I was in the media between 30 and 35 years. I know
00:00:25.020 what it can be like but you need to be a little bit cynical as well and I don't like to be a
00:00:29.200 conspiracy theorist but I think I called it pretty good when it came to Christy Clark. As you may know
00:00:34.440 she dropped out of the liberal leadership race and I predicted this was going to happen and I believe
00:00:39.580 she was forced out. Now here's the article that ran in the National Post. Look at this. Clark and
00:00:45.720 Champagne bow out of liberal leadership race as Gould prepares to launch. So Clark bows out and I'm
00:00:53.320 wondering if Christy Freeland will bow out. I'm wondering if the word is already out to her
00:00:59.040 or a deal has already been made with Christy Freeland. Now what did I say about Christy Clark
00:01:03.720 just a few short days ago? Now why would they go after Christy Clark? She's a liberal. She's a 1.00
00:01:09.220 female. She could lead the party. It's right in the video I showed you. Here it is again.
00:01:13.280 I'm joining the party so that I could support my friend Mr. Charest and you know what I think he can
00:01:19.800 bring to the national dialogue. I mean I do think he'd be a devastating opponent for Mr. Trudeau.
00:01:26.340 So she voted for Jean Charest as a conservative because he would be a devastating opponent to
00:01:33.480 Justin Trudeau. You don't think Justin Trudeau knows about this video? Of course he does. And as
00:01:38.780 soon as her name came up as a possible leader of the liberal party to take over from him he sicked the
00:01:45.100 CBC on her or at least somebody in his office did. They said listen we got this great story for you
00:01:50.200 and they did a real bang up job hit piece on Christy Clark. I stand behind that story that I
00:01:57.420 did a few days ago. I believe that it was Justin Trudeau people on his team and probably Mark Carney
00:02:03.640 that planted that story with the CBC and that's why Clark is no longer in this race. Justin Trudeau
00:02:09.640 gets another woman folks and I don't know whether she can ever recover from this. I mean how humiliating 1.00
00:02:16.040 to be caught in such a blatant lie and to have it broadcast all over the country. But what's
00:02:21.380 fascinating about this is if you read the sub headline to this story in the national post here
00:02:25.580 it is. I've worked hard at improving my French but it's not where it needs to be today. Seriously that's
00:02:32.140 why you dropped out of the race. For god's sakes there's a guy in the race right now named Chandra
00:02:37.220 Arya who's running for the leadership of the liberal party. You don't hear much about him.
00:02:41.200 It doesn't bother him that he doesn't speak French. He hardly speaks English. And what's interesting
00:02:46.160 about this headline again read it Clark and Champagne that's Francois Philippe Champagne.
00:02:50.800 He's the great French hope from Quebec. He dropped out on the same day that Christy Clark did.
00:02:56.360 So what about Christy Freeland? I mean Christy Clark became a conservative to vote for Jean Charest
00:03:02.460 to get Justin Trudeau and that got under Trudeau's skin. Well it was only a month ago that Christy
00:03:08.860 Freeland walked out on Justin Trudeau the day she was supposed to announce a $62 billion deficit
00:03:14.700 in that budget update. And I think that put the wheels in motion for Trudeau to eventually resign
00:03:20.740 just a little over a week ago. So they got to get rid of her. She's the next big threat here. Now 0.97
00:03:27.640 do they have anything on her like they have or had on Christy Clark? Perhaps. She's been around for a long
00:03:35.840 time been the right hand man or right hand woman of Justin Trudeau for a number of years.
00:03:40.800 But Mark Carney's got a lot of connections and Christy Freeland wants to move her way up in the 0.84
00:03:46.860 world and wants to make some money. I mean these people have no shame. They've got no pride.
00:03:50.940 They'll prostrate themselves on the altar of power just to move themselves ahead. So it wouldn't surprise
00:03:56.660 me if she decides not to run at this point. We'll find out very shortly she'd been rather coy
00:04:00.500 about what she's going to do and whether she's going to be a leadership contender. People seem
00:04:06.360 to think she will. But it wouldn't surprise me if she walked away. And sometimes that's the wise
00:04:10.800 thing to do. Christy Clark tried to do that. Unfortunately it didn't work out for her. But 1.00
00:04:14.900 if you look at somebody like the Premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith, politician, walked away for a while,
00:04:20.160 was a radio person, waited for her time. Now she's the Premier. So maybe that would be the smart
00:04:24.860 thing for Christy Freeland to do. She certainly has a lot of baggage. And I don't believe that,
00:04:31.080 I didn't believe from the beginning that an actual Liberal MP would get the job as leader.
00:04:35.420 It would be an outsider. Well the only other outsider is gone. They've cleared the field of 0.76
00:04:40.140 everybody else. And Mark Carney's just waiting for the crown to go on his head. I mean he's showing up
00:04:45.140 on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He's been planted. It's all in the works. And Trudeau had this
00:04:51.060 all worked out in advance. He knows exactly how things are going to happen step by step. Wouldn't
00:04:56.100 be surprised if Christy Freeland has already been paid off in one way or another. I appreciate you
00:05:02.380 watching. Give me a thumbs up. Subscribe to the channel. See you on the next one.
