00:00:00.000 Hi there, it's John and welcome to the channel. Friday, December the 13th. I've got the big blue mug of coffee this morning.
00:00:07.080 I hope you're having a great day so far, just after 5 o'clock. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
00:00:12.300 I'm going to tie a couple of things together. And folks, it is frightening what is coming here in this country.
00:00:19.400 And I've mentioned Trudeau's desperate, and I think we're getting to the real desperation right now.
00:00:25.040 And it could be desperate for Canadian citizens very soon. Okay, so what's going on right now between Canada and the United States?
00:00:32.000 Well, the border issue is still an issue. Donald Trump, 25% tariffs if we don't shut down our border and have more security there.
00:00:39.140 And I said three, four weeks ago, this is not an issue at all. All we have to do is say we're going to do something and get it done.
00:00:47.340 Now, from what I understand, the Feds will have a border plan very soon, but we'll have to wait and see.
00:00:52.240 We're running out of time. Okay, we're running out of time because a Christmas break is coming up, which lasts 5 or 6 weeks.
00:00:58.020 Now, yesterday, I did a video late in the afternoon.
00:01:01.720 Danielle Smith, the Premier of Alberta, said in a news conference that they're spending some money.
00:01:07.680 They're going to bolster the border between Canada and the United States because we have a relationship with the United States.
00:01:13.140 We want to maintain by selling them our oil.
00:01:15.560 It's very, very important to Alberta and to Albertans and to me and to Canada as well.
00:01:23.120 But here's the thing. I started thinking last night, what the hell is going on here?
00:01:28.160 I mentioned in a video either yesterday or the day before that Doug Ford says, and I'm going to read this.
00:01:33.860 This is from the CBC website. Let me read this to you.
00:01:36.340 Ford suggested that Canada could cut off energy supplies to the United States.
00:01:40.700 Canada sends a significant amount of oil, natural gas, and electricity south of the border.
00:01:46.100 We will go to the extent of cutting off their energy, he said, Wednesday.
00:01:51.000 Now, what does that mean?
00:01:53.100 Because the energy that goes to Ontario comes through Alberta.
00:01:58.200 There is a pipeline that runs from Alberta, the Enbridge Pipeline.
00:02:00.940 It ends up going through Michigan.
00:02:02.360 They want to shut it down there.
00:02:03.620 Or at least the climate cult in Michigan wants to shut the Enbridge Pipeline down.
00:02:07.780 But it goes to my hometown of Sarnia, where it is refined in Sarnia.
00:02:12.440 So Doug Ford is talking about shutting off energy to the United States that comes directly through Canada.
00:02:19.760 Yesterday in that news conference, Premier Danielle Smith.
00:02:23.080 Well, let me be clear from the Alberta perspective.
00:02:25.520 Under no circumstances will Alberta agree to cut off oil and gas exports.
00:02:30.220 We don't support tariffs.
00:02:32.200 I don't support tariffs on Canadian goods.
00:02:34.640 And I don't support tariffs on U.S. goods.
00:02:37.280 Because all it does is make life more expensive for everyday Canadians and everyday Americans.
00:02:43.300 So instead, we're taking a diplomatic approach.
00:02:45.820 And we're meeting with our allies in the U.S.
00:02:47.680 We're making the case for Alberta oil and gas to be part of the solution to energy affordability,
00:02:53.360 to energy security, and to, generally speaking, North American defense security as well.
00:03:00.420 So what the hell is going on here?
00:03:02.440 Daniel Smith says under no circumstances will we cut off oil and gas.
00:03:06.980 That's our oil.
00:03:08.200 Doug Ford in Ontario says he will.
00:03:10.660 That's Alberta oil.
00:03:11.800 It's refined in Sarnia, my hometown, as I just mentioned.
00:03:14.460 So what the hell is going on here?
00:03:16.240 Well, what is Justin Trudeau doing while we've got the premiers of our provinces talking about
00:03:22.780 the border issue?
00:03:24.660 Trudeau's off talking about how the United States made a mistake by not voting in the
00:03:28.980 first female president.
00:03:30.200 We had a video on the show just the other day about that.
00:03:33.080 And then he shows up and he starts bad-mouthing Donald Trump again.
00:03:36.780 So I'm thinking overnight, what the hell is going on here?
00:03:40.160 The federal government hasn't really announced a plan.
00:03:42.480 And probably the most important thing they need to deal with right now is the border issue.
00:03:47.840 All Trudeau has to be saying is doing what Daniel Smith is doing, walking in front of
00:03:52.360 a camera and saying, we are spending this much more money on our border.
00:03:55.980 We're putting more Canada Border Service Agency people on the border.
00:03:59.540 We're going to be checking for drugs.
00:04:01.240 We're going to be going along the border like Roxham Road in places in the country on
00:04:04.740 the longest undefended border in the world.
00:04:07.060 And we're going to ensure that people are not going into the United States who could do
00:04:10.540 them harm.
00:04:11.120 That's all he has to do.
00:04:13.280 But instead, he's picking a fight with Donald Trump.
00:04:17.200 So I get up this morning and I see a video posted by Ezra Levant.
00:04:21.980 And he's putting two and two together like I am.
00:04:24.700 And this is what he had to say.
00:04:26.980 Trudeau is picking a fight with Trump.
00:04:29.760 That's not smart.
00:04:31.580 Here's Trudeau saying that Americans are regressive sexists for not voting for Kamala Harris.
00:04:39.200 Now, it shouldn't be that way.
00:04:41.360 It wasn't supposed to be that way.
00:04:43.040 We were supposed to be on a steady, if difficult sometimes, march towards progress.
00:04:49.060 And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first
00:04:57.600 woman president.
00:04:59.440 Everywhere, women's rights and women's progress is under attack, overtly and subtly.
00:05:06.200 But I want you to know that I am and always will be a proud feminist.
00:05:11.780 You will always have an ally in me and in my government.
00:05:14.860 And here's Trudeau, a couple of days earlier, saying that Americans are too stupid to understand
00:05:21.060 who they chose in the last election.
00:05:22.980 They're not being really thoughtful like he wants them to be.
00:05:26.920 Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
00:05:28.940 I hope some of the things I said actually pierced through the haze of challenging situations
00:05:37.320 everyone's in.
00:05:39.520 Canadians are fundamentally thoughtful about the kind of future we want, the kind of solutions
00:05:45.400 we're going to put forward to improve our communities, to improve our neighborhoods, to
00:05:50.200 build a better set of opportunities for our kids.
00:05:53.600 And every election is about that as we approach what will be an election year next year.
00:06:02.380 And my only request for everyone is to be really thoughtful and go into the choices you
00:06:08.520 make with eyes wide open.
00:06:10.980 I think there's a number of folks in different countries, and I won't point out any particular
00:06:15.400 one, where folks are going to be wondering about the choice they may be made in elections.
00:06:21.760 Let's not be that kind of country in Canada.
00:06:26.720 Let's be deliberate about the choices we make.
00:06:28.860 So again, that's from Ezra LeVant's show.
00:06:30.780 I'll put a link in the description to the video so you can watch the whole thing.
00:06:33.860 But that's where we are in this country right now.
00:06:36.200 That's the desperation I've been talking about.
00:06:38.860 Trudeau is going to pick a fight with Donald Trump to show that he's tough, that he's standing
00:06:43.420 up to the United States of America, that he's standing up to Donald Trump, that he has
00:06:47.760 some testosterone running through his skinny little body, and he's going to put the
00:06:51.620 Canadian economy in jeopardy because he wants to be re-elected in the fall.
00:06:55.640 This is where we are right now in this country.
00:06:58.040 This is how bad things are under Justin Trudeau.
00:07:00.660 I say I feel like I'm under attack all the time in this country now, because it's like
00:07:04.280 a never-ending barrage of nonsense that we get from the federal government.
00:07:08.460 Now, as far as Danielle Smith goes, I'm wondering if she's a closet separatist, because for goodness
00:07:13.360 sakes, I've mentioned a couple of times what Smith has been doing in this province.
00:07:17.460 She's been talking about an Alberta pension plan.
00:07:19.400 And I hope she goes through with that.
00:07:20.900 It's a good idea for Alberta.
00:07:22.580 Our own police force, the Sovereignty Act, fighting Ottawa over our oil and gas here,
00:07:27.740 and now having our own separate border security with the United States of America.
00:07:33.020 It's looking like she's a bit of a Wexiteer, baby.
00:07:35.900 A Wexiteer.
00:07:36.780 And maybe we need to get the hell out of this damn country, because Justin Trudeau can do
00:07:41.080 a lot of damage before we get to an election in October.
00:07:45.300 Thanks for watching.
