00:00:00.000 Hi, it's John and welcome to the channel. Great to have you along today. It is Thursday, January 30th
00:00:05.180 at 12.45 p.m. with the Big Blue Mug of Coffee Early Afternoon Cup today. And you've clicked
00:00:10.880 on this video because you want to hear what I say or you think I've lost my mind when I say
00:00:15.680 Donald Trump is Canada's greatest economic ally. I believe he is and I'm going to tell you why in
00:00:21.880 this short video. Since Election Day in November, the biggest supporters of the climate cult have
00:00:28.240 had a come to Jesus moment. One that's got them turning tail and running from their previous
00:00:34.300 fanaticism towards net zero and carbon taxes. And here's that moment. That is why today I will also
00:00:42.920 declare a national energy emergency. We will drill, baby, drill. Donald Trump has Canada thinking
00:00:56.680 differently towards oil and gas. Since Justin Trudeau came to power in 2015, hundreds of
00:01:03.040 billions of dollars have been lost, chasing and erasing, chasing green energy and erasing oil and
00:01:10.940 gas. Liberal leadership candidate Mark Carney, who has made a career out of climate alarmism,
00:01:16.420 who led a group to get banks to defund oil and gas, once said this. Now, so far, carbon prices have
00:01:22.760 been applied sparingly. They've been set far too low. Now he's contemplating an end to Canada's
00:01:28.560 carbon tax. Chrystia Freeland, another front runner in the leadership campaign, staunch carbon tax
00:01:34.460 supporter. And the right thing to do is what our government is doing, which is to put a price on
00:01:41.540 pollution. Now denouncing the tax. For many, it comes far too late. A large part of the Liberal caucus,
00:01:48.100 now that their party is weak and Trump's tariffs are looming, now suggesting the carbon tax is
00:01:53.360 worthy of scrapping. Have they lost their belief in a climate doomsday? Not likely, but it has got
00:01:59.480 them scared. Donald Trump has got them scared about the future. With the stroke of a pen, the fortunes
00:02:05.400 of Alberta, my province and Canada suddenly got stronger. The next item here is the withdrawal from
00:02:12.280 the Paris Climate Treaty. We're going to save over a trillion dollars by withdrawing from that treaty.
00:02:27.460 Premiers out east are now calling for previously banned pipelines to be approved immediately.
00:02:32.360 Aboriginal groups who oppose pipelines out in the west now saying that they've changed their mind.
00:02:37.160 They're afraid because of Trump tariffs. The threat of Trump tariffs now has many Canadian leaders
00:02:43.040 realizing they've been rather short-sighted by not taking in all of the above attitude when it comes
00:02:48.580 to talking about energy here in this country. Perhaps banning pipelines and passing laws to keep oil
00:02:54.140 from getting to tidewater wasn't the smartest plan after all. Canada now realizes it is vulnerable to
00:03:00.900 its biggest trading partner. And that's because of Donald Trump. By not selling our oil products
00:03:06.840 beyond North America, we can easily be gobbled up by the biggest economy in the world and become
00:03:12.720 America's 51st state. The tariffs may still come, but I believe this lights a fire under Canada's
00:03:19.160 behind and leads us to the promised land, soaked in crude oil. I truly believe Donald Trump is
00:03:26.180 Canada's greatest economic ally. Thank you very much for watching. I do appreciate it. If you like the video,
00:03:32.220 please give me a thumbs up, share it as well, subscribe to the channel, and I'll see you in the next one.
