00:00:00.000 No matter what Mark Carney says when he stands up in Parliament and says,
00:00:03.360 Canadians, we've had the best affordability in the last decade.
00:00:06.640 Well, clearly Mark Carney does not actually live in Canada. I think you walk to any Canadian out
00:00:11.820 on the street and you say, have we had the best affordability in the last decade? And they would
00:00:15.920 just laugh at you. It makes me sick to my stomach that our institutions and the way that it's
00:00:21.760 structured will deny the health care that this little girl needs and this Canadian family. 1.00
00:00:26.860 And yet we spend so much money on so much stupid in this Birkin government. 1.00
00:00:31.240 We need proper immigration in place. 1.00
00:00:33.220 That's what made Canada so successful. 1.00
00:00:35.400 But we have completely destroyed that.
00:00:37.500 And because of that, we have destroyed all of the institutions around us.
00:00:41.760 We have destroyed the quality of life for Canadians.
00:00:44.060 We've destroyed the quality of life for our brothers and sisters and for our children.
00:00:52.220 Tonight, I want to talk about something that feels like it's disappearing in this country.
00:00:56.640 Empathy.
00:00:57.380 Not the performative kind, not like the hashtags,
00:01:00.180 not the carefully worded statements that get posted
00:01:02.380 after something terrible happens
00:01:04.060 and then it's forgotten two days later.
00:01:06.060 I mean, real, genuine empathy
00:01:07.820 because lately it feels like our institutions
00:01:09.680 have become experts at process, policy, and procedure
00:01:12.240 and all this PR, but somewhere along the way,
00:01:15.220 they've forgotten to become human beings
00:01:16.980 and they've forgotten about the human beings
00:01:18.840 at the center of it all.
00:01:20.280 Let's play this clip from Alberta
00:01:22.420 where this family and their two-year-old daughter
00:01:24.580 need medical care
00:01:25.660 and our institutions are denying them that medical care for their daughter life-saving
00:01:30.740 medical care the government has failed this girl but we will not busy exploring everything around
00:01:37.440 her we will do everything to make sure that she's taken care of a rare vascular condition means her
00:01:42.380 world isn't as big as it could be so sad with this treatment there is a potential of you know
00:01:49.640 not just a cure, but having a very full and beautiful life that's not just revolved around
00:01:56.060 her health. Myla was diagnosed when she was six months old. The condition affects the way
00:02:01.380 her veins and arteries are formed, causing daily bleeding and impacting her vision and hearing.
00:02:07.080 After meeting with doctors across North America, it was determined there's only
00:02:10.900 one practicing physician in the world who could help, and he was in Italy.
00:02:15.380 so we should pay for this the treatment options before dr coletti were massive disfiguring
00:02:22.020 repetitive surgeries this is to save her and to let her be able to have a normal life the family
00:02:30.260 made the trip to europe in march with scans showing a 90 positive response to the initial
00:02:34.980 treatment when they got home they found out their funding request had been denied unbelievable
00:02:40.660 practiced here in canada it's considered experimental um which you know there is no
00:02:47.920 standard of care for myla here in canada the laskovsky's applied to the out-of-country health
00:02:52.740 services funding committee under the alberta health care insurance plan but we're told the
00:02:57.200 treatment isn't eligible for coverage each treatment costs up to 100 000 and myla needs
00:03:03.180 at least a few more rounds this is where her parents trying to cover the bill determined
00:03:07.860 to keep expanding her horizons we're not just gonna throw in the towel and say nope okay i
00:03:14.760 guess they said no you know so we'll move on with our life you know we have to give up you know
00:03:20.280 this is this is honestly a story that really sickens me because i think if you speak to the
00:03:24.300 majority of canadians they are under the impression we are all under the impression that we pay so
00:03:29.820 much money in taxes that our little girls in the event that we don't have care in this country for
00:03:36.020 them, that they're going to be able to be funded properly to get the life-saving care and treatment 0.94
00:03:41.060 that they need no matter where it is in this world. That's where I want and that's where
00:03:45.380 Canadians want our taxpayer dollars to go. And it makes me sick to my stomach that our institutions
00:03:51.360 and the way that it's structured will deny the health care that this little girl needs and this
00:03:57.040 Canadian family. And yet we spend so much money on so much stupid in this working government. 1.00
00:04:01.860 It is unbelievable to me. 0.99
00:04:04.080 And for the people, and this comes back to the empathy part,
00:04:06.740 let's say the process is broken.
00:04:08.480 Let's say by the rules that they are crafted in today
00:04:10.840 that this person does not make the cut.
00:04:13.620 Why are there not people within those institutions
00:04:16.560 that come out and say, you know what?
00:04:18.640 We have to do something about this.
00:04:20.560 We have to make an exception.
00:04:22.040 We have to go fix this.
00:04:23.140 Let's go make the exception right now 1.00
00:04:25.280 to make sure that this poor, beautiful two-year-old girl 1.00
00:04:29.320 can get the life-saving care that she needs 1.00
00:04:31.840 and then let's work on fixing the process 0.90
00:04:34.360 in the first place on the medium to long-term
00:04:36.540 so that in the event of all of these other people,
00:04:39.460 these Canadian children that need care,
00:04:41.600 that we give them the care. 0.99
00:04:43.220 It is so pathetic that we have to now, 0.80
00:04:45.260 this family set up a GoFundMe, I donated $100.
00:04:48.020 If you're interested, you can go find their story,
00:04:49.860 you can go donate
00:04:50.560 or the thing that you can do is to share this story
00:04:53.520 so that people understand that this is happening
00:04:55.900 within our country.
00:04:57.560 It's totally unacceptable.
00:04:59.260 This is totally unacceptable.
00:05:00.540 This is where we always complain
00:05:02.060 about where our tax dollars are going. 0.95
00:05:03.920 And Canadians like to complain about this.
00:05:05.460 And we have the right to
00:05:06.300 because our tax dollars are being burned
00:05:08.540 everywhere in this country.
00:05:09.840 But on the things that we expect them to be spent on,
00:05:13.120 for our sons and daughters,
00:05:14.760 they are not for life treating care.
00:05:17.240 Absolutely unbelievable.
00:05:18.640 And I hope that this family gets this overturned.
00:05:20.820 I sent a whole bunch of emails out
00:05:22.180 and I hope all of you that are watching,
00:05:24.620 you raise your voices about this
00:05:26.060 because what if it was your son or your daughter
00:05:28.160 and my question to those at those institutions looking at this video what if it was your son or
00:05:34.040 daughter what would you do in that case I can promise you that they wouldn't be sitting around
00:05:38.260 watching while their daughter or son faces this life-threatening condition absolutely unbelievable
00:05:43.720 and then we go to this other story this is out of Kelowna British Columbia you talk about the
00:05:48.180 lack of empathy it's not just our institutions unfortunately it's a lot of people that walk
00:05:53.340 among us, not just empathy for our own brothers, our sisters, our Canadians, our sons and daughters,
00:05:58.980 but empathy for living beings and animals. Let's play this video out of Kelowna, British Columbia.
00:06:04.780 This is disgusting. He pushes off the baby geese with a pool noodle. Look at this.
00:06:09.720 He's pushing off all of the babies off of this balcony. This is illegal. These are protected
00:06:17.000 animals and he's using a pool noodle to throw off these babies the mother's with another one
00:06:23.440 just went down i'm honestly disgusted what kind of freak look at this what he's doing
00:06:30.880 this is the mother and the other babies are here people are screaming at him to stop and this is
00:06:37.420 what he's doing this is what he's doing look what happened to these poor babies you can imagine this
00:06:44.420 is absolutely sick these bystanders are trying to stop it can't throw these birds over the roof
00:06:49.820 i'm gonna phone the police they already did who did yeah no there's more of them this is gonna
00:06:56.980 be sick to watch look at these poor babies stop it right now this makes my turn still over 0.69
00:07:03.140 oh my god this breaks my heart sick sick vile human being talk about empathy i get it 0.99
00:07:14.180 The goose can be annoying. 0.98
00:07:15.960 The geese can be annoying.
00:07:17.340 There are places that you can call to get rid of them if you need to relocate them.
00:07:21.420 Instead of what this person does, he knows that they're babies. 0.98
00:07:24.500 He starts corralling them off of the freaking building. 0.90
00:07:27.980 And there's multiple conflicting reports about this. 0.94
00:07:30.420 Global News reported, another news station reported, three died.
00:07:33.900 I had actual reports in Kelowna, BC of three dying, multiple injured.
00:07:38.180 And the police went over there with the conservation authority.
00:07:40.920 And you know what they did to him?
00:07:42.700 They educated him.
00:07:44.180 on the proper way to deal with the situation the next time these are protected animals by the way
00:07:50.100 these canadian geese are protected animals especially because they're migrating birds
00:07:54.020 it's within the us and within canada but look at like just forget about the protection of the
00:07:58.660 animals put yourself in those shoes you're a human being you see baby animals and you put a
00:08:04.820 a freaking pool noodle to get them off the balcony you know they can't fly and they fall to their 0.94
00:08:10.180 death. Many of these, some of them survived, thank God. Some of them survived, but they 0.79
00:08:14.860 suffered traumatic internal injuries. Some of them died. This is inhumane and it's absolutely
00:08:20.120 disgusting. Now, I'm not here trying to dox anybody. All I want is the authorities to
00:08:25.700 apply the appropriate punishment and justice so that people know that it's unacceptable to go
00:08:31.900 basically killing baby animals. The empathy is lost on so many people. When I see these stories,
00:08:37.980 Honestly, I, I really, I look at myself in the mirror. I'm thinking, what type of timeline are we living in? What type of world are we living in? And these people walk among us. It's, it's absolutely unbelievable. I pray to God justice has served in this case. The lack of empathy is absolutely crazy. And now we turn to another story. When we're talking about what's happening, talking about empathy. We talked about our children. We're talking about animals. Now let's talk about Canadians, all of us in this country.
00:09:07.380 the prices of groceries and food of what is happening is absolutely nuts i want to play this
00:09:13.060 video you know i i was somebody that's born and raised in this country but my family grew up very
00:09:18.640 poor i want to be very clear i'm the son of an iraqi and afghani family they emigrated to this
00:09:23.220 country i understand what it's like to be poor i understand what it looks like in terms of prices
00:09:28.240 what you put in your shopping cart i want you to look at this video and tell me is this the canada
00:09:33.760 that you remember in terms of the prices
00:09:36.480 and the cost of living and the price of groceries.
00:09:39.040 Play this clip.
00:09:39.860 This is by far the craziest pricing I have seen.
00:09:43.500 Look at this, chocolate chips.
00:09:45.820 You wanna know what the price is in Toronto?
00:09:47.900 You're not gonna believe it.
00:09:49.140 I can't believe it.
00:09:51.480 $48 for this pack of chocolate chips.
00:09:55.920 This is not a price error.
00:09:57.960 This is real.
00:09:59.300 Guys, I checked those chocolate chips.
00:10:00.740 They're organic, one kilogram chocolate chips.
00:10:03.360 You could find those same chocolate chips in the United States.
00:10:06.040 I frequent the United States for work and travel.
00:10:08.580 You can find it for half the price.
00:10:10.380 And I noticed all of this stuff is happening with Galen Weston's Loblaws family of corporation.
00:10:15.100 All of these stores, the price gouging is absolutely unbelievable.
00:10:19.280 The price of many of these goods, many of these things that you buy to feed your family
00:10:23.740 and your children, they've gone up so significantly.
00:10:26.320 Chocolate chips is just one example.
00:10:28.080 You look at prices of watermelons.
00:10:29.740 I just made a video, went viral on TikTok, $25 for a watermelon, okay? $5 for a single tomato.
00:10:41.600 No, I am not joking. $5 for a single tomato, $25 for a watermelon. You know, Galen Weston is this,
00:10:48.840 you know, billionaire, okay? He has a monopoly within this country. You would think that
00:10:53.180 he might take some satisfaction and joy in saying, you know what, I want to provide,
00:10:57.160 you know good quality meats and food items for canadians you know have some empathy for the
00:11:04.220 people but instead he has these in no like these prices that do not make sense of reality the the
00:11:10.240 amount of greed that is happening and by the way if you say to me oh well sandran this is not greed
00:11:16.040 this is just market supply and demand market supply and demand well you know what this same
00:11:21.220 company has been caught multiple times cheating people on the beef, the scale. You pay for your
00:11:27.060 beef, you pay for your food based on how much it weighs. There's been multiple confirmed stories
00:11:32.200 of these Loblaws stores, et cetera, that are underpricing or sorry, overpricing the meat and
00:11:39.320 other products based on the weight. They are misweighing them on purpose and people come back
00:11:43.880 to their home, they weigh it and they say, this is not what I bought. It's missing this much weight.
00:11:48.700 this is what they're doing here's another example let's play this clip this is uh found in ajax
00:11:54.240 ontario okay somebody went to go buy some ground beef look what they saw wow i thought i've seen
00:12:00.280 everything ground beef from a superstore and they removed all the best before dates okay
00:12:07.000 wow they removed all the best before dates this is what it's come to put new dates on it 0.74
00:12:17.240 This company is obviously proven to not give a shit about Canadians, whether it's, you know, odd practices of removing best before dates on meat packages, whether that's intentionally at this point. 0.85
00:12:30.860 I'm going to say it's intentional. How many times can you make a mistake and say, oh, we mispriced or misweighed the beef every single time and nothing happens to them? 0.98
00:12:38.500 You got a slap on the wrist. It's unbelievable the amount that Canadians are being robbed blind in front of them.
00:12:44.720 And our authorities clearly are not doing anything of significance to deter these for-profit organizations working in a monopoly inside of this country to continue to squeeze Canadians as we are already facing some of the worst affordability challenges, no matter what Mark Carney says when he stands up in Parliament and says, Canadians, we've had the best affordability in the last decade.
00:13:05.540 Well, clearly, Mark Carney does not actually live in Canada.
00:13:08.480 I think you walk to any Canadian out on the street and you say, have we had the best affordability in the last decade?
00:13:14.340 And they would just laugh at you.
00:13:16.520 So at the same time, while we have this, the corporations that we've essentially handed over a monopoly for or feeding our families and children continue to gouge and squeeze us while we're facing this cost of living crisis.
00:13:27.780 It's unbelievable.
00:13:29.600 Now let's switch.
00:13:30.520 We talk about empathy in that degree, and then we talk about we have too much empathy for what I believe are some of the most heinous criminals you'd probably ever imagine.
00:13:42.240 The criminals that do the most heinous crimes that you would not wish upon your worst enemies.
00:13:47.240 Let's play this story from a daycare in Edmonton.
00:13:51.520 Let's play this clip.
00:13:52.260 This is absolutely a nightmare for anyone that has kids.
00:13:55.600 An Edmonton daycare employee was arrested on child sex abuse charges, this 21-year-old
00:14:01.480 Khal Raj Singh, after they received multiple sexual assault complaints from parents, and
00:14:06.520 now he's out on bail.
00:14:08.960 Oh boy, I don't know where to start with this.
00:14:12.660 Well, let's start with this.
00:14:14.620 In a position of trust, somebody comes in into a daycare, you give your children, your
00:14:20.480 baby girls, your baby boys over to these people.
00:14:23.040 they use that position of power to sexually assault them in daycare while you're away from
00:14:30.560 them these are some of the most horrific crimes that you could possibly do to our children
00:14:35.560 and this person is out on bail it is of my opinion we do not treat these people like the
00:14:40.940 animals and the monsters that they are in this country i can't tell you on this video as a
00:14:45.840 father of a three-year-old daughter what i would do to an animal like this if i ever got my hands
00:14:50.520 on them doing something like this to my daughter. And I think I speak for every Canadian from coast
00:14:55.460 to coast. And I think the only people that don't understand this have some sort of mental fog. 0.95
00:15:01.060 Truly, I think they have some sort of mental fog because these type of crimes need to be dealt with
00:15:06.820 with a hammer fist so that we have proper denunciation. So people understand that touching
00:15:12.300 and sexually assaulting our children is unacceptable. Unacceptable. Honestly, I see
00:15:19.120 these stories. And by the way, this is not just one story. This is happening across the country.
00:15:25.600 If you follow me, you've seen I covered a handful of these stories just in the last year of these,
00:15:31.380 again, these daycares, they're bringing people into them, and they maybe don't have all their
00:15:36.120 proper background checks. And this is happening. And then on top of that, we give them a slap on
00:15:42.200 the wrist. We give them a slap on the wrist for doing some of the most heinous crimes that you
00:15:47.020 could ever imagine. Crimes that you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemies. It completely blows my
00:15:52.540 mind. What I want to see in this country is that we take the sexual assault and sexual exploitation
00:15:59.060 of our children seriously, whatever that punishment is to me. And I've said this, like whether it
00:16:05.600 comes to crimes of home invasions, where I personally believe that we have to have 10
00:16:10.320 years minimum for these crimes without any Youth Justice Act getting in the way. If you're old 0.63
00:16:14.580 enough to do the crime, you can do the time. I think for these type of violent sexual offenses
00:16:19.860 to our children in a position of trust, this deserves significant jail time. This deserves
00:16:25.200 like 20 years in jail. We have to make it very clear. It's unacceptable. And enough of this one,
00:16:30.980 two, three strikes, you're out nonsense. How hard is it for us to say as a society,
00:16:36.880 we will not, we will have zero tolerance when it comes to touching and sexually assaulting our
00:16:41.680 children. Why do I walk to a service Ontario to renew my passport? There are signs plastered
00:16:48.460 everywhere that say zero tolerance. You are not allowed to raise your voice at anyone or you are
00:16:54.460 out of the premise. We have zero tolerance for raising our voices, but we have tolerance for
00:17:00.220 these animals, these monsters. I want to make it clear. These people are monsters to sexually
00:17:05.660 exploit our children in a position of trust at daycares. This is unbelievable to me. But this 1.00
00:17:14.020 is also not surprising. We've imported millions of people into this country without proper 1.00
00:17:18.640 background checks. This is what we've done. The government has stated that. And this is the outcome 1.00
00:17:24.740 now. This is what now Canadians have to deal with in every facet of our waking lives, whether that's
00:17:29.740 crime in our communities, whether that's can you trust the people that are operating the daycares,
00:17:34.260 whether that's, you know, these criminals getting back out on bail and reoffending and repeating
00:17:38.320 again, it's absolutely unbelievable and it's unacceptable. And we talk about this now,
00:17:43.960 the impact of mass undocumented, unvetted immigration. I mentioned all these examples,
00:17:50.420 but it's also affecting now on a breaking leaked secret report that Juno News brought out,
00:17:55.980 our Canadian armed forces. Watch this story. It's going to honestly blow your mind.
00:18:00.080 These are the people, the men and women that are expected to protect our country and look
00:18:05.320 what they have to deal with.
00:18:06.500 It reveals is damning.
00:18:08.740 In one French language officer platoon, the pipeline for future generals, it was overwhelmingly
00:18:13.880 made up of permanent residents.
00:18:16.240 Many have been in Canada for as little as three months, and some of the most troubled
00:18:21.620 recruits were imported directly from failed states, former French colonies in West Africa. 0.77
00:18:28.440 The result was a breakdown in social order and training outcomes.
00:18:33.840 This single platoon, in particular, descended into ethnic feuds, Cameroonian and Ivorian factions of the Canadian Armed Forces.
00:18:44.040 It actually gets way worse than that.
00:18:47.200 This report highlights, quote, weak oral abilities in either English or French.
00:18:53.900 This is listed as a leading cause of failure, and it raises deadly, serious concerns about radio communications.
00:19:01.920 The report repeatedly highlights a, quote, lack of respect towards women as one of the biggest problems causing failure.
00:19:09.660 Direct, quote, from the secret document, quote, for many candidates, it is the first time they have lived with members of a different sex.
00:19:18.400 and for some it is also the first time they have been expected to treat women as their peers
00:19:25.580 another quote lack of respect towards women was the most common concern among surveyed candidates
00:19:33.160 just for context these are not enlisted grunts these are officer candidates they're going to
00:19:40.100 be generals one day lieutenants men being fast-tracked to lead the army air force and navy
00:19:45.080 many from cultures that don't believe women belong in uniform at all, let alone see them as their
00:19:50.960 equals. You know what? I have to apologize for the Canadian Armed Forces personnel that they
00:19:56.980 commit their lives to protecting our country and serving this country. And this is what we've done
00:20:02.240 for them. We have put beside them people that can't even pass simple comprehension tests,
00:20:09.320 people that can't speak to them properly in the language of the battlefield, whether that's French
00:20:13.320 or english in this case and we are risking their lives while we're also diminishing the ability
00:20:18.440 for our armed forces to protect us this is totally unbelievable and this is not just also impacting
00:20:24.120 the canadian armed forces we are seeing the same thing whether that's with the cbsa rcmp we have
00:20:30.360 totally this is the canadian armed forces is now primarily brought up by people that are not even
00:20:38.520 citizens to this country. Can you even imagine? I question a non-citizen in some cases, like in
00:20:45.060 that platoon, in that specific example was 83% non-citizen, okay? But even then, some of them
00:20:51.480 were in Canada for as little as three months. How much commitment do these people have when actual
00:20:57.580 bullets ever start flying to stand behind and protect us and protect this country? I question
00:21:03.300 that. I question the fact that because they can't even speak the language of this country,
00:21:06.860 And this is what we're doing. And you see that. And this is why it's so complicated. We talk about all these issues. The failure of this liberal policy, especially around immigration, it really impacts so many different areas of our lives, right?
00:21:21.480 In things that we touch every day, but in things that are really critical to us being a sovereign country that's able to protect ourselves from the world geopolitical standpoint, from the local policing standpoint, to provincial policing standpoint, to our institutions.
00:21:39.520 And again, I've been a battler of this for many years, where I believe immigration is important.
00:21:45.780 Again, I remind people that will come at me and say, well, if you're against mass immigration, you're a racist.
00:21:52.080 Absolutely not.
00:21:53.580 Again, I am the son of an Afghan and Iraqi family.
00:21:56.160 I believe all of my friends are from different areas around the world.
00:22:00.160 Their families came here to build and buy into a prosperous meaning of what is the Canadian dream.
00:22:05.580 We need proper immigration in place.
00:22:07.660 That's what made Canada so successful. 1.00
00:22:10.080 But we have completely destroyed that.
00:22:11.840 And because of that, we have destroyed all of the institutions around us.
00:22:16.360 We have destroyed the quality of life for Canadians.
00:22:18.300 We've destroyed the quality of life for our brothers and sisters and for our children.
00:22:23.240 Absolutely unbelievable.
00:22:24.400 And this is, again, breaking news from Juno.
00:22:26.400 And it speaks to, again, why we should be all vocal about making sure that we have the proper processes in place for immigration, for our armed forces, 0.58
00:22:35.860 so that we have caps on the amount of non-residents that should be serving and being part of the force that protects us and protects our sovereignty.
00:22:43.640 So thank you, Juno, for covering that.
00:22:46.020 And that is the wrap up for this week.
00:22:48.300 um what a wild week honestly i think every week it can't get more crazy than this but of course
00:22:53.820 it does and i think we're gonna have a lot more of these stories to cover because right now the
00:22:58.020 liberal government is basically taking control of our committees um basically going to be able
00:23:02.500 to ram through their agenda uh the same agenda that's brought us to this position over the last
00:23:06.540 10 years but i sure as hell know that we're not going to be silent about it we're going to continue
00:23:11.020 to be vocal we're going to continue to fight and i would urge you to again please uh support
