00:00:00.000 This is our leader. This is our prime minister making such a bold-faced lie. The temporary
00:00:05.580 foreign worker program in this country is simply brought in here as a way for corporations to make
00:00:11.920 more money to suppress wages and increase profit margins. It's the youth that we've robbed of their
00:00:17.240 futures. They no longer can actually go save money. They can't go build a life, not only because the
00:00:22.680 cost of living is so high, but they can't even get a start. Seemingly in this country, continue to
00:00:28.260 prioritize the well-being of these violent criminals, these monsters, and you're going
00:00:34.300 to see this story, what I really mean, a true real-life monsters over the victims.
00:00:43.480 Canadians have been facing a cost-of-living crisis over the last decade. You look at housing
00:00:47.440 prices, you look at the cost of living at the grocery store, gas prices. Canadians are struggling,
00:00:52.620 especially our youth. It has never been harder to start a life in this country and build to
00:00:57.660 canadian dream that we've all been promised a canadian dream that many of our parents if they
00:01:01.900 were newcomers to this country helped build out over the last two to three decades and that's
00:01:06.220 no longer even tangible for our own children anymore in this country but let's hear what
00:01:10.940 mark carney has to say about the record of this liberal government in the last 10 years
00:01:21.580 they are growing the highest in years four percent they're growing twice the rate of
00:01:25.980 inflation canadians are getting ahead every single month of this government canadian wages have grown
00:01:31.260 faster than the rate of inflation rents are at a 33-month low affordability is the best it's been
00:01:37.180 in over a decade what oh my god how can you say that you know we'll pause that clip here and it's
00:01:45.100 just like this is where it's like really this really hurts me when i hear this this is our
00:01:50.460 our leader this is our prime minister making such a bold-faced lie in parliament i think every
00:01:57.040 canadian regardless of your political stripes should be outraged upon right this is not
00:02:00.880 holding our government and our leadership accountable to telling canadians the facts
00:02:04.840 about what's happening you could go ask a thousand people on the street randomly they will tell you
00:02:08.960 that is a bold-faced lie the cost of living has actually never been higher in this country i was
00:02:13.240 born and raised in this country in hamilton ontario i've worked in downtown toronto i've
00:02:17.220 across this country this has never been the bigger crisis that we've had with cost of living whether
00:02:22.260 it's at the grocery store whether it's paying rent whether it's affording a home it's unbelievable
00:02:26.500 to say this and we need to start holding people accountable to this and it shocks me the fact that
00:02:30.900 he can say this and you just see the rest of all of his mps just stand up and clap
00:02:36.180 and how can they all not like again put the partisanship aside how can you see and hear
00:02:41.940 that statement and say that's something i should be clapping for it's a slap in the face to so
00:02:46.420 so many of the Canadians that are working so hard. I speak to them every single day that are
00:02:49.880 struggling to put food on the table for their children that are struggling to make rent that
00:02:54.180 can't pay their bills or literally cutting back on the food that they eat to survive.
00:02:59.300 Canadians are literally $200. It was a recent survey, almost 50% of them, $200 away from
00:03:05.240 insolvency. Like this is the type of stuff that when I see this, it just really upsets me. It's,
00:03:11.380 this is not about, uh, you know, again, partisanship. This is about accountability.
00:03:14.900 and to hear this is crazy and then we we turn into calgary as just another example and we see
00:03:19.880 oh my god wow look at what is happening youth unemployment's 14 we're going to roll this clip
00:03:25.380 does this look like the best affordability and the best economy that we've had in this country
00:03:29.960 look at the job fair line in calgary this explains the youth unemployment crisis we have
00:03:35.380 this is what it looks like when you sell out the youth in this country in calgary today big four
00:03:41.160 look at the top there these are thousands of kids waiting in line look at this line
00:03:46.020 it looks like it's going to be about a three-hour lineup but um the fair ends in 90 minutes so
00:03:52.700 i'm not sure that all these kids are going to get in i'm serious just wait we're going to go around
00:03:57.460 the corner this is what thousands of young people looking for a shot looks like and there's only 80
00:04:02.940 employers inside this is about whether young people want to work and they clearly do and it's
00:04:10.340 actually about a system and whether it's working for them federal programs like the temporary
00:04:15.760 foreign workers program are supposed to address labor shortages but when the local youth can't
00:04:21.840 access entry-level jobs it's fair to ask if these programs are working the way they're supposed to
00:04:30.280 and they're not we can support immigration and we can support economic growth common sense
00:04:35.700 thinking this woman we can make sure that our young people get opportunities like these things
00:04:41.500 shouldn't be in conflict alberta's future depends on whether this generation gets real opportunities
00:04:48.880 canada's future alberta will make room here we go more this do this more um opportunities for
00:04:56.260 all alberta kids this is so sad to see honest to god this breaks my heart because you know
00:05:04.340 we were all children at some point, you had to work these jobs to get, you know, your foot in
00:05:08.860 the door to get the experience that you need to go ahead and build a career in the future that you
00:05:11.960 want. And let's be very bold faced about this and tell it as it is the temporary foreign worker 0.99
00:05:17.220 program in this country is simply brought in here as a way for corporations to make more money to 0.58
00:05:23.980 suppress wages and increase profit margins. We have a significant unemployment crisis in this
00:05:28.640 country. Again, if you look at the stats, 14% youth unemployment across Canada, this is
00:05:34.400 unacceptable. And we continue to import temporary foreign workers in this country when we have an
00:05:40.140 unemployment crisis. It doesn't make any sense. And we talk about the economy. The economy is
00:05:44.460 really, we have this, we talk about a K-shaped recovery, especially after COVID. It's the youth 0.98
00:05:48.440 that we've robbed of their futures. They no longer can actually go save money. They can't go build a
00:05:53.940 life, not only because the cost of living is so high, but they can't even get a start. They can't
00:05:58.060 even start earning money because there's no job and employment opportunities. We saw the
00:06:02.140 unemployment metrics come in, over 100,000 jobs lost in the last month. And you wonder to yourself,
00:06:07.840 how do we continue to allow these programs in place? I made a video that went viral on TikTok
00:06:12.020 and Instagram. It got millions of views when the Tim Hortons in Grimsby, Ontario, was going to lay
00:06:18.340 off 80 of its employees that have been working there for 10, 15, 20 years to replace them with
00:06:22.800 temporary foreign workers. Within 24 hours, Tim Hortons stopped that. But we all know the reality
00:06:27.820 is that they're going to continue to go do that.
00:06:30.580 Once the lime of the light gets off of them,
00:06:34.460 they're going to go do that.
00:06:35.560 And we continue to allow it.
00:06:36.820 That's why we need change in this government.
00:06:38.540 We need change and reform 0.80
00:06:39.640 around our temporary foreign worker program.
00:06:41.560 We need to support Canadian jobs first. 0.92
00:06:43.480 We need to support our own children first, for God's sakes.
00:06:46.460 So you talk about the economy,
00:06:48.680 you talk about unemployment,
00:06:49.800 and this is leading many Canadians to pick bad choices.
00:06:55.460 And this is kind of coalescing into the crime
00:06:57.680 that we have that's happening in this country and it's getting out of hand and there's a video here
00:07:02.000 this is out of oshawa and we see these stories over and over again of criminals taking advantage
00:07:08.160 of the system taking the fact that our justice system have no real consequences for it and quite
00:07:12.720 frankly we have put many of the youth in this country in a position where they should never
00:07:17.680 choose to participate in these crimes but the reality is when so many youth are put into this
00:07:22.800 position of despair and peril, a percentage of them will choose crime. Let's watch this video
00:07:27.900 in Oshawa, another jewelry store robbering of what happened. And you're going to see Canadians 1.00
00:07:32.220 have had enough. Another jewelry store robbery in Oshawa, Ontario. But good Samaritans take
00:07:38.560 these criminals down and a dog chases one out. Look at this. These are Canadian heroes stepping up
00:07:46.220 to protect their community, stopping these criminals until security gets there and the
00:07:51.560 police. Look at this. I love seeing this. I love seeing this. This is how a community fights back.
00:08:03.080 This is the fourth time the community store has been robbed in a year. Fourth time. Now the other
00:08:09.160 guy escapes, but the dog is after him. Watch this. He thinks he's going to escape. The
00:08:21.540 dog is on him you know i look at this video and i just think you know we see this over and over
00:08:41.380 again all of our businesses are being like invaded they're being robbed they're being looted there's
00:08:46.100 no consequences for this crime i really hope that dog did have an enjoyable time with that criminal
00:08:50.660 taking him down and thank you for our police forces and the amazing canadians to stand up to
00:08:55.380 stop these criminals in the act until security and police came and of course i'm not going to say go
00:09:00.340 do this you're going to put yourself at risk but i think what this video shows you is that canadians
00:09:05.140 are getting fed up they're getting fed up with all this crime it's so blatant it happens every day
00:09:10.100 whether that's the home invasions i've been covering for so long whether that's the our
00:09:13.860 business is being robbed and looted canadians this is not the the canada that we were born and raised
00:09:19.060 in. This is not the Canada I was born in, where there's supposed to be a rule of law. And we do
00:09:23.400 not have proper laws to make sure that we're ensuring that criminals know that if you do
00:09:29.420 these things, they're unacceptable and they won't be tolerated. But unfortunately, in the reality
00:09:33.220 that we have today in this country, it is tolerated. They get a slap on the wrist,
00:09:37.700 they get released on bail, and they just do it over again and again and again. And Canadians 0.98
00:09:41.800 are getting fed up. And it's unfortunate because God forbid the day that happens when a Canadian
00:09:47.460 good samaritan tries to stop one of these criminals and gets hurt i hope that never happens but that
00:09:52.820 may be an eventuality where we see you know canadians are looking to street justice if if
00:09:57.940 our government is not protecting us if our police are handcuffed because of our laws and because of
00:10:04.100 resourcing to stop these criminals this is the eventuality that i think is going to happen and
00:10:08.580 it really makes me sick and we talk about another sick story not just these crimes but some of the
00:10:13.780 most heinous crimes that i've covered when it involves our children our youth and our girls
00:10:19.140 and how we again seemingly in this country continue to prioritize the well-being of these
00:10:26.660 violent criminals these monsters and you're going to see the story what i really mean a true real
00:10:31.380 life monsters over the victims and this is a story honestly i i you have to watch this it really will
00:10:37.620 blow your mind and have you questioning what are we doing in this country why are we not protecting
00:10:42.660 the innocent families and children over the ones that terrorize and destroy them let's watch this
00:10:47.540 video this is what a monster looks like were kidnapped from their tent in wells gray provincial
00:10:54.260 park in the summer of 1982 the girls held captive chained tortured and raped for a full week he did
00:11:01.860 that grandparents george and edith bentley and the little ones later discovered in their torched car
00:11:08.660 david ennis is now months away from another chance at gaining his freedom this is sick i'm feeling
00:11:14.100 very worried nervous um anxious shelly bowden and her family were preparing to look ennis and
00:11:22.340 the parole look at this monster when they delivered their victim impact statements in august
00:11:27.460 but ennis has waived his right to an in-person hearing as a result the parole board will
00:11:33.060 proceed with a paper review what rights does he have documents but no in-person testimony it's
00:11:39.600 harsh i'm very upset i'm very upset i don't think this is right the victim's family it's not right
00:11:45.700 they were told there is a possibility ennis could go to minimum security or be granted day parole
00:11:52.860 they're not even giving us a chance to stand up for our rights and our family that can no longer
00:11:59.540 talk yeah they don't seem to care they just it felt it feels like they just don't care about
00:12:04.360 what we have to say how can he even have a chance to get out will be david ennis aka david shearing's
00:12:11.120 seventh parole opportunity since 2008 boden and her family present for this is so sick
00:12:18.480 the system is not working for anybody any of us for this because we're gonna cut it here 0.83
00:12:23.940 get out he took these two girls he chained them in a forest and he raped them for a week before 0.99
00:12:34.080 killing them and their family all six of them putting their bodies in a car and burning them 0.88
00:12:38.720 this is the type of person that we allow for a chance to have parole to get back into this 0.99
00:12:44.920 world into our society to walk among us and this bowden family my hats off to them this is the
00:12:50.360 seventh time they had to face this monster to look at them in the eyes at the parole hearing 0.95
00:12:55.380 to make sure that this person this animal comes back into our society walking among us it is
00:13:01.580 unbelievable at some point when do we say life in prison means life in prison when do we say such a
00:13:06.940 heinous crime it really deserves somebody to be locked away for good for the protection of all of
00:13:12.520 us i can't even believe when i hear these stories in this country what are we doing what why does
00:13:18.980 somebody like him have the right to waive in-person parole? How does somebody like him
00:13:26.060 have the right to actually have a chance to come back into the society? What happened to the rights
00:13:32.860 of the victims? We talk about the rights all the time. How about the victims? How about their right
00:13:37.880 to live? Six lives taken, not just taken, by the way, taken in such a way you wouldn't wish it to
00:13:44.720 your worst enemy. And this is the type of stuff that, again, we need real reform in our Criminal
00:13:49.380 Justice Act. We need, as Canadians, to stand up and talk about these issues more so. And that's
00:13:53.700 why I'm so excited to be working with Juno News, to be partnering on this show to talk about these
00:13:58.780 things. Because if we don't talk about it, we don't acknowledge it. We're never going to get
00:14:01.660 the change that we need. As a father with a three-year-old daughter, I can't imagine
00:14:05.760 my daughter walking around in a world with monsters like these walking among us. And I
00:14:11.880 don't think any canadian wants this it is honestly unbelievable what a wrap-up of a week uh what
00:14:17.420 incredible stories to share uh i'm really looking forward to again continuing the conversation on
00:14:22.060 the life with sondren show uncensored with juno news um be sure leave down your comments down
00:14:26.320 below make sure you subscribe if you haven't subscribed already i'm really looking forward
00:14:30.360 to our continued endeavor on this i'm going to be bringing in many guests on this show going forward
00:14:34.740 to go ahead and debate across the political spectrum because that i really believe is what
00:14:39.500 is missing currently today in the ecosystem in Canada. If we really believe our perspectives,
00:14:44.400 and I believe a lot of the perspectives that I bring are the right things to do in this country,
00:14:48.220 we should be able to openly debate with the people that don't agree with those things.
00:14:51.400 So that's it for this week. We will see you all next week.
