00:00:00.000 The CBC is a complete and utter embarrassment for our nation. 0.53
00:00:03.900 I know we've said it many times. 0.99
00:00:05.600 They are a total joke.
00:00:07.420 It's a disgrace, actually, what they have become.
00:00:10.580 It's like the CBC have blinders on, you know?
00:00:13.580 It's like they refuse to acknowledge the reality around them.
00:00:17.540 That, one, no one is watching them.
00:00:19.600 Their ratings are plummeting.
00:00:20.960 Also, their revenue is plummeting.
00:00:22.480 They have to get bailed out with more and more money every single year.
00:00:25.660 The government has to keep giving them more and more money, our money, every single year for them to stay afloat.
00:00:31.100 And on top of that, Conservative Party members have voted in two leaders of the party who have both run with a key promise on the leadership campaign to defund the CBC.
00:00:40.900 But the CBC still refuses to acknowledge that they are off-step with Canadians.
00:00:44.900 They are not providing Canadians with content that fulfills the CBC's mandate, which is to help promote Canadian culture.
00:00:51.580 Two weeks ago, and I can't believe we missed this, but we did miss this.
00:00:54.060 Two weeks ago, the CBC hosted on CBC Gem.
00:00:58.180 They published a documentary called Deconstructing Karen.
00:01:01.660 Let me just read to you how the CBC describes this documentary.
00:01:06.000 In Deconstructing Karen, white women attend the wildest dinner party of their lives. 1.00
00:01:11.180 The main course is a radically open and honest conversation on racism.
00:01:15.260 While sipping wine and passing the breadbasket, these women go on an eye-opening journey, 1.00
00:01:19.660 discovering how they uphold white supremacy every single day.
00:01:25.140 For some guests, there are epiphanies.
00:01:27.160 For others, there is a resistance.
00:01:29.040 But for all the women, something changes and they can never unknow the painful truths revealed over dinner. 0.85
00:01:34.720 Wow, how powerful from the CBC.
00:01:38.340 What you're about to watch was paid for by your hard-earned tax dollars.
00:01:42.060 That's a very important factor.
00:01:43.460 I always try and remind people, whether it's on Fake News Friday or it's on this show,
00:01:46.760 any time you see something absurd from the CBC, just remember, it was you who paid for it.
00:01:50.800 What you watch in this show is basically some communistic struggle session
00:01:56.000 straight out of Mao's Cultural Revolution, straight out of Mao's China. 0.70
00:01:59.120 Basically, what's going on here is you have a room full of white women 1.00
00:02:02.120 pay for a black woman to tell them all how racist they are. 1.00
00:02:07.280 To tell them, actually, you are the problem. 1.00
00:02:09.880 You are the real problem here. 1.00
00:02:11.200 You are actually very racist. 1.00
00:02:12.580 You uphold white supremacy. 0.99
00:02:14.020 I mean, look at how she describes what she does at these dinners.
00:02:18.240 Raised to Dinner was founded by these two women, 0.72
00:02:20.560 and they make a business off of telling other white women how racist they are. 1.00
00:02:27.200 You hurt my feelings. 0.78
00:02:30.780 The market we have identified is white women who call themselves liberal or progressive or Democrat
00:02:38.720 to not only change themselves, but begin to change their children, their families, their co-workers, their friends. 0.66
00:02:48.520 I know it sounds bizarre, but I used to be a white feminist, a white woman trapped in a brown body. 0.99
00:02:54.920 And then I woke up and I started doing anti-racism work.
00:02:58.080 When I first started talking about racism, I think the thing that I was totally unprepared for
00:03:04.520 was when, you know, you just talk about white people. 0.99
00:03:09.500 You say the words white people, and those white people want to come and kill you. 0.98
00:03:13.600 For some reason, somewhere along the process of the CBC, they decided, actually, yes, 0.99
00:03:19.640 this is a perfect thing for us to put the taxpayer dollars toward.
00:03:24.580 This is a perfect thing for us to highlight for Canadians.
00:03:28.180 We don't need to import American race politics into this country.
00:03:31.900 In fact, that's the last thing I think we all want in this country.
00:03:34.400 But, if you're the CBC, that seems to be their priority.
00:03:37.900 They want to inject this stuff straight into our culture
00:03:40.500 and do so by pushing it through the form of documentary.
00:03:43.920 Um, so I want a show of hands of everyone at this table who is racist.
00:03:54.760 Hi, I want to go.
00:03:57.180 So I can't sit here?
00:03:59.780 You gotta go. Sorry, sis. 1.00
00:04:02.460 Okay, I'm gonna hold it in.
00:04:04.400 Okay.
00:04:06.220 No, I'm not saying he's insane. 0.84
00:04:08.020 I'm saying it is insane. 0.72
00:04:08.780 I get it.
00:04:09.660 But what we're saying is, this is America.
00:04:14.180 I want to ask also to stop acting shocked.
00:04:16.640 So part of white feminism is acting so surprised when we tell you. 1.00
00:04:21.420 But it is.
00:04:22.000 Why are you telling us not to act the way that we act if it is surprising?
00:04:25.060 To me, that is surprising.
00:04:26.260 That upholds white supremacy. 0.52
00:04:27.680 That makes me very angry because I don't look at that.
00:04:30.440 I was born in 1950.
00:04:32.080 You know what I expect of white women? 1.00
00:04:34.720 Not a damn thing. 0.99
00:04:36.860 Nothing. 0.75
00:04:37.900 I expect nothing of you because you have never given me anything.
00:04:42.300 You know, out of all your years in life, you've never trusted a white woman. 0.91
00:04:45.940 Well, let me put it this way.
00:04:47.440 The ones I have trusted have come back to disappoint you.
00:04:51.260 Disappoint me.
00:04:52.620 Yeah, it's that.
00:04:53.260 Again, the CBC mandate, supposedly the reason as to why they get money from the taxpayer is to promote Canadian culture.
00:05:02.200 But this documentary is only intended to import American race politics.
00:05:08.400 I would love it, I would love it, actually, if this episode of Radio Show was seen by someone who was a defender of the CBC.
00:05:15.960 Someone who could watch this clip, watch this passionate eye documentary called Deconstructing Karen.
00:05:21.520 And tell me why exactly the Canadian taxpayer, the hardworking Canadian taxpayer, 0.81
00:05:26.040 who's had to put up with years of crap from this public broadcaster, 0.99
00:05:30.380 why we should be funding this garbage. 1.00
00:05:33.340 Why we should be funding this overtly racist garbage. 1.00
00:05:36.440 Tell me, I would love to know why. 1.00
