CBC pushes RADICAL gender ideology on children

00:01:04.880 While personal stories tout the positive, life-changing effect of transitioning, there are no testimonies
00:01:11.420 from de-transitioners whose bodies were destroyed by such procedures.
00:01:16.360 Meantime, Alberta's restrictions on puberty blockers and certain medical procedures also
00:01:22.060 come under scrutiny here.
00:01:24.740 Alberta isn't the only bad guy identified here.

00:01:35.680 Some states have passed or have begun the process of passing laws that would restrict and or ban
00:01:44.320 some forms of gender-affirming care, which is health care some young people seek out if their
00:01:51.120 sex at birth doesn't match the gender they identify with.
00:01:55.800 But medical experts and trans teens say this treatment is life-saving.
00:02:03.040 It's changed my life, says Jackson Pauls, who is 18, from North Bay, Ontario, and has undergone gender-affirming care.
00:02:12.380 If I wasn't able to start this therapy, honestly, I probably wouldn't be here anymore.
00:02:20.980 Is this the kind of programming you want for your kids?
00:02:23.260 Well, whether you do or not, taxpayers are footing the bill.
00:02:27.160 For what Chris Elston calls propaganda and lies, he is known internationally as Billboard

00:02:40.840 And joining me now is Billboard Chris Elston, advocate for protecting children, coming to us from Surrey, BC.

00:02:49.480 Thank you for having me, Mark.
00:02:50.520 We've been talking for a little over five years now, and I think we're making progress at the grassroots level.
00:02:55.660 But all of our institutions in Canada are still caught up with the trans craze, as we've seen like never before this week.
00:03:02.020 Yes, unfortunately, it's so ingrained in society and media and politics.
00:03:07.860 So it's going to take a lot of work, and you're at the forefront of these efforts to change attitudes.
00:03:13.040 And the fact that you have put yourself really in the way of some people who strongly oppose you, I think, shows a tremendous amount of courage.
00:03:22.300 But I want to start off talking about the monstrous and deadly shooting spree by Jesse Strang, whom I know you've been studying since this happened.
00:03:32.380 What's your take on what took place?
00:03:35.620 Well, you've got a deeply mentally ill individual who's been struggling for a long time.
00:03:40.260 He dropped out of school four years ago when he was 14.
00:03:44.560 He's had several interactions with the police.
00:03:46.620 He tried to burn his house down.
00:03:48.100 He was arrested for arson.
00:03:49.960 He has been taking DMT, ketamine, mushrooms, antipsychotics, antidepressants.
00:03:55.900 And I would assume he's been given estrogen by the state who only affirmed this idea that he was born in the wrong body and that he's really a female.
00:04:04.540 So you've just got this deeply struggling individual who never received the mental health help he needed.
00:04:10.900 Instead, it was affirmed.
00:04:12.840 His mental illness was affirmed as being a beautiful thing.
00:04:15.860 And so we should expect these sorts of things to happen, honestly, when we affirm mental illness.
00:04:24.180 Now, I understand not all of his mental illnesses are being affirmed, of course, but this idea that he's a woman, that was affirmed.
00:04:30.640 That's not helping anybody when you affirm a lie.
00:04:34.000 And so we have this copycat killing, the first major mass school shooting in Canadian history, and it's been done by a trans-identified individual.
00:04:41.880 Yeah, I mean, he did, from what I understand, get support from his mother.
00:04:48.780 And, I mean, we've seen pictures where, you know, pride flags were displayed in the school.
00:04:55.700 So I don't understand where this impetus came from to cause the destruction and death that he did.
00:05:04.720 And, I mean, could it have come from the medications that he had received, the blockers and so forth?
00:05:12.480 Yeah, I don't, I haven't seen any indication he was on puberty blockers.
00:05:15.360 I would assume he was on estrogen.
00:05:17.060 But when he was 15 years of age, he was still waiting for an appointment to get estrogen.
00:05:21.760 And I'm not sure how long he was on it.
00:05:23.920 But all these other drugs obviously aren't helping him.
00:05:26.100 And so what do we do with these individuals when all of society is affirming this, when no one wants to say anything, oh, that's actually wrong.
00:05:40.460 This guy clearly should have been in a mental institution getting help.
00:05:44.980 He should have been an inpatient in a psychiatric facility.
00:05:48.600 Instead, he was left to deliver destruction and to murder little kids.
00:05:53.680 And when you look at his online behavior, I'm not going to mention all of these websites that he was a member of, because I don't actually want people visiting them.
00:06:03.320 But one of them was a website where you go to watch people die.
00:06:07.800 I mean, this is a very dark individual.
00:06:10.660 There shouldn't have been guns in the home.
00:06:12.060 The RCMP had previously seized them, but then returned to them, even though he's had recent visits from the police.
00:06:18.440 And as far as I'm concerned, this is a systemic failure from our government right down to our mental health institutions, to our counselors and to the RCMP.
00:06:29.680 Yeah, I mean, he had, I think, started when he was 12 years old.
00:06:34.480 That was when he began transitioning.
00:06:37.940 Well, social transition.
00:06:39.200 So I've read different reports about this, but that would just be a different name, perhaps, although he kept the same name, but maybe going by different pronouns.
00:06:49.300 So he wasn't medicalized for transition, at least for a few years.
00:06:53.480 We don't have any data on when he started estrogen, if he did, or if he was ever put on puberty blockers, but there's been no indication that he was.
00:07:02.320 And so, I mean, that's just part of the picture.
00:07:05.400 The trans stuff is just a piece of this.
00:07:07.780 He's got all sorts of other problems.
00:07:09.960 And this is standard for all of these kids who identify as trans.
00:07:12.920 If you look at all the systematic reviews that have been done around the world, Finland, Sweden, England, US, even Canada, these kids, on average, have five or more other mental health comorbidities.
00:07:24.060 There's been abuse.
00:07:25.000 There's been trauma.
00:07:25.620 There's been sexual abuse.
00:07:26.480 There's ADHD.
00:07:27.220 There's autism.
00:07:28.360 There's all these other things going on.
00:07:30.060 They are 10 times more likely to have a parent who is a sex offender.
00:07:34.040 More than half the time, the father is not present in the home.
00:07:36.540 And that's the case here as well.
00:07:38.100 And in BC, according to Wallace Wong, who worked for the Ministry of Children and Family Development as a psychologist, about six or seven years ago, when Wallace Wong gave a talk at the Vancouver Public Library, he said he was transitioning more than 1,000 kids in BC, including more than 500 in state care.
00:07:55.340 And there were only 6,000 kids in state care in BC.
00:07:58.640 So 8% of those kids were being transitioned.
00:08:01.160 It is not an exaggeration to say all of our institutions in Canada are entirely captured by this trans craze.
00:08:08.320 And they're going along with the lies.
00:08:10.060 And until we stop this, we're going to continue to see more tragedies, not just on a big scale like this, but on an individual scale.
00:08:16.540 It's a tragedy to tell a child they're born in the wrong body and to give them puberty, buckers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries.
00:08:22.000 We're turning them into an orgasmic, lifelong pharmaceutical patients who can never have a family.
00:08:26.220 And we call this love and acceptance.
00:08:29.200 And of course, there's all sorts of money involved.
00:08:32.000 I mean, there's the purchase of drugs, thousands of dollars a year.
00:08:37.320 There is expensive surgeries.
00:08:39.380 And so there's a whole cottage industry around this.
00:08:42.300 It's worth billions around the world, isn't there?
00:08:44.940 There is.
00:08:45.480 And I recently met an anesthesiologist when I was at a conference, an anesthesiologist from BC.
00:08:50.740 And he told me of a clinic in False Creek, so in Vancouver, just on the other side of the water from downtown Vancouver.
00:08:59.000 And this clinic does double mastectomies every day.
00:09:02.260 They do them for cancer victims, for women.
00:09:04.240 And they do them for kids, for girls, with gender identity issues.
00:09:10.940 And the doctor's pay when they do this for cancer is $1,500.
00:09:15.600 The doctor's pay when they do this for gender on a 14-year-old girl, which is what the anesthesiologist told me is going on.
00:09:22.240 This has been confirmed in other reports as well.
00:09:24.780 The doctor's pay for the gender mastectomy is $3,500, more than double.
00:09:30.100 That's the way the insurance codes work here in BC.
00:09:32.180 So, yes, there's a financial incentive, but the big money in this is what is pushing this ideology.
00:09:38.040 Because none of this happened organically.
00:09:39.580 This ideology has been pushed into our society by NGOs, funded themselves by leftist governments, to the tunes of billions of dollars.
00:09:47.780 And it's coming from all these governments, all these NGOs, all these intergovernmental bodies like the UN and the WHO.
00:09:53.580 And the truth of the matter is we don't have gender identities.
00:09:56.440 This ideology has only existed since the 1960s, and it's entirely made up.
00:10:02.900 And gender, to these people on the left, is now something totally separate from sex.
00:10:07.180 And that is the fundamental lie underlying all of this madness.
00:10:12.040 And we need to get gender ideology out of our society.
00:10:14.640 We need to get it out of our schools.
00:10:15.840 Because until we do, these kids are going to continue to be indoctrinated, and we're going to continue to see more problems.
00:10:22.140 Yeah, I mean, from listening to you, it seems like the whole issue around gender is seen as an all-purpose solution for all sorts of different problems that may have nothing to do with it.
00:10:32.260 And so they're pushing this as a possible cure.
00:10:36.760 You know, you've got all these problems, whether it's, you know, depression and maybe a history of child abuse, autism, you know, attention deficit disorder, all this sort of thing.
00:10:50.100 And they've got this one panacea, the solution.
00:10:52.860 Here you go.
00:10:53.700 You're in the wrong body.
00:10:55.080 And let's start the process.
00:10:56.620 And, you know, you're so courageous for doing this.
00:10:59.180 And, you know, they encourage this and they push this thing.
00:11:03.060 And for somebody who's vulnerable, who's in a place where they're very uncertain, you know, they're ready to accept almost anything, aren't they?
00:11:11.340 And next thing you know, they're going through the process that they never really wanted in the first place.
00:11:17.360 That's exactly right.
00:11:18.960 And then we have organizations like CBC that are pushing this on kids.

00:11:24.020 So you get these vulnerable kids.
00:11:24.920 In most cases, they have autism.
00:11:26.200 So they already feel like misfits.
00:11:27.880 And along comes this ideology, which presents itself as the cure-all for their problems.
00:11:32.380 The reason they're misfit, the reason they're depressed, the reason they're suicidal, isn't all these other problems.
00:11:39.420 It's, oh, I was born in the wrong body.
00:11:41.980 That's the message we're sending our kids.
00:11:44.480 Let's break that down.
00:11:45.880 Born in the wrong body.
00:11:47.800 What does it mean?
00:11:49.860 It's insane.
00:11:51.880 You're not born in the wrong body.
00:11:53.460 If you're born in the wrong one, which one are you supposed to be in?
00:11:55.980 Who's supposed to be in yours?
00:11:57.980 This is like a spiritual belief that we have a gendered soul that is somehow different than our sex.
00:12:03.620 Why?
00:12:04.140 Just because maybe this child doesn't conform to stereotypes.
00:12:08.320 So now we're going to take an effeminate boy and tell him he's a girl.
00:12:11.720 Instead of telling him he's beautiful just as he is, that's the positive progressive message.
00:12:16.320 That there's no right or wrong way to be a boy or a girl.
00:12:19.960 This ideology comes along and says, little girl, you were born wrong, but we've got the solution.
00:12:26.620 Sterilization, mutilation.
00:12:28.520 And I really hate to use that word, but it's what it is.
00:12:30.860 They're cutting the breasts off of girls at least as young as 14 in Canada, as young as 12 in the United States.
00:12:36.380 And they're going to make it so that these children can never have a family.
00:12:42.440 The greatest source of joy for most people in the world, having their own family, having kids.
00:12:48.000 There's no love like it in this world.
00:12:49.860 And we're taking this away from these children while telling them the psychologically abusive nonsense that they were born wrong.
00:12:55.100 This ideology has got to go.
00:12:56.480 And you've got the public broadcaster pushing it on kids where, you know, the head is still full of mush and still developing.
00:13:04.960 The brain is still developing.
00:13:06.600 You know, parents maybe park their kids in front of the TV or in front of a certain website, CBC Kids website.
00:13:12.160 And they absorb this stuff and they internalize it.
00:13:15.560 You know, the days of the friendly giant and Mr. Dressup are long gone now.
00:13:19.380 And now they're, these sites are being used, paid for by the taxpayers of Canada to promote risky transgender surgery and puberty blockers.
00:13:28.960 What do you make of that?
00:13:30.860 That's absolutely right.
00:13:31.800 And they're using coercion to get parents to go along with this.
00:13:34.000 Now, a lot of parents are pushing this for sure, especially moms.
00:13:38.060 Dads tend to be the ones who are against this, but it preys on the natural empathy and nurturing nature of women.
00:13:42.960 And they're told every time, and we see this in every single piece of propaganda.
00:13:47.160 And we hear this from all of these doctors at gender clinics as well.
00:13:50.160 You can have a dead daughter or a live son.
00:13:53.080 Your child is going to kill themselves if we don't transition them.
00:13:56.260 That's what these people are told.
00:13:57.600 That's what we hear repeatedly.
00:13:58.780 And that psychologist from BC I mentioned, Wallace Wong, in that talk at the Vancouver Public Library to parents and their kids, he told them, and this is on video, and this is in the transcript.
00:14:11.340 It's all provable.
00:14:12.280 He said, if you're not getting the drugs or hormones you need quickly enough, pull a stunt.
00:14:18.040 Say you're suicidal.
00:14:20.220 It works every time.
00:14:22.080 So they're literally coaching these kids to pretend they're suicidal, but it's all you ever hear.
00:14:27.120 And what's the evidence for this?
00:14:28.740 There is none.
00:14:29.960 The only study ever done on this was in Finland where they looked at 24 years worth of data at their gender clinic.
00:14:34.660 There were seven suicides over those 24 years.
00:14:36.720 It worked out to an annualized rate of 0.052%.
00:14:40.220 So every suicide, of course, is a tragedy.
00:14:43.160 But these kids are struggling with all sorts of issues.
00:14:46.120 And then we even had Chase Strangio, the lawyer for the ACLU, a woman pretending to be a man, in December of 2024, admit before the Supreme Court of the United States that suicides are actually extremely rare.
00:14:56.360 And what they've been referring to this whole time, she said, was suicidality.
00:15:01.980 Well, that's not true.
00:15:02.840 They've been holding this threat of suicide like a cudgel over the head of parents for years and years.
00:15:07.620 And they still do it to this day.
00:15:09.120 And you still hear the same rhetoric from Canada.
00:15:11.380 And it's extraordinarily irresponsible.
00:15:14.000 The other thing they say is puberty blockers are reversible.
00:15:16.420 Also false.
00:15:17.240 And when you look at all the reviews that have been done, all the systematic reviews, the gold standard in medicine, everywhere in the world, they've looked at everything.
00:15:24.580 All the peer-reviewed reports, all the scientific literature, they found no evidence this is helping kids.
00:15:29.700 Of course it's not.
00:15:30.860 This is common sense.
00:15:32.200 But we have all the data to back this as well.
00:15:34.280 Yet our politicians and our health bodies don't want to look at it.
00:15:37.820 And yet our media plays into it, referring to Jesse Strang as her and so forth.
00:15:47.640 I guess when you have all these forces in society that are pushing the same gaslighting, then it's understandable that people would buy in.
00:15:59.280 Yeah, and these are kids.
00:16:00.280 These are kids that are being lied to.
00:16:02.560 So, yeah, Jesse had extraordinary problems.
00:16:06.160 And who knows why?
00:16:07.500 Something's been going on there for a long time.
00:16:10.300 But he never got the help that he needed.
00:16:12.360 Society never got the help that it needed to keep itself safe from him.
00:16:18.060 And there are other individuals like this out there who are also not getting help.
00:16:23.500 And we've seen this great increase of trans-identified mass shooters in recent years.
00:16:29.880 It's a copycat thing.
00:16:31.560 Why are they shooting kids?
00:16:34.000 I mean, this is dark and disturbed and evil.
00:16:36.520 And all these drugs that he was on.
00:16:39.140 Both black market drugs and prescribed drugs.
00:16:42.780 SSRIs, anti-psychotics, etc.
00:16:45.400 He's got this huge cocktail of chemicals in his system.
00:16:48.100 He's out of his mind.
00:16:50.000 But this is being done by our health department.
