00:00:26.000 announced that they would be suspending the mask mandate on airplanes and the vaccine mandate for
00:00:30.860 entering the country and of course the mandated use of ArriveCam, the government loyalty test.
00:00:35.940 But just as the show must go on for us, the show must also go on for the COVID zealots or as some
00:00:41.060 people call them, the branch Covidians. They don't want to stop masking. They don't want to stop
00:00:45.760 living in a paralyzed state of fear. And if you've been on Twitter, you've likely seen the trending
00:00:50.160 hashtag bring back masks. They are not prepared to give up on COVID and some of the takes
00:00:55.560 from that hashtag, some of the posts under that hashtag are absolutely horrendous. They
00:01:00.320 are crazy. We have the crazy takes and even a video we're going to react to on the show
00:01:04.440 under that hashtag. We'll get into all that. Don't worry about it. But also on the show,
00:01:08.340 the CBC, Canada State Broadcaster, they must be stopped. They are completely out of control.
00:01:13.460 They are off the tracks. You see, the CBC have gone so far woke, they are now openly praising
00:01:18.420 and promoting racism and segregation. It's crazy. But when you think about it, it's not that crazy
00:01:24.580 because as we all know, anti-racism is racism and it's time someone called it out. And for the

00:02:14.260 world. And on Monday, the government announced that they would be dropping or suspending the mask
00:02:20.060 mandate on airplanes, the vaccine mandate to enter the country, and the government mandated use of
00:02:25.560 ArriveCan. So finally, we can start acting like the rest of the world and finally break out of this
00:02:31.440 what seems to be a state of paralyzed fear when it comes to COVID. We can finally stop pretending as
00:02:37.840 though this virus is the worst thing in the world. It's the worst thing we've ever had to deal with.
00:02:41.800 We can finally stop pretending as though we need four or five booster shots, three masks,
00:02:46.940 and a face shield in order to protect ourselves from what is really just a glorified flu. But
00:02:52.320 there's a certain population in our country who really are not prepared to give up the COVID
00:02:58.040 lifestyle. It's really a lifestyle. It's almost a cult at this point where, you know, people,
00:03:02.860 they have a uniform, they have a set of language they use. It's really sort of like that. And the
00:03:08.580 term used by a lot of people on the internet to describe these people, Branch Covidians, works
00:03:12.740 perfectly because they really do operate in a cult-like fashion. When the great news of Canada
00:03:18.400 finally coming to their senses, when the news came that unvaccinated Canadians could leave this
00:03:23.080 country, unvaccinated Canadians could basically get their freedoms back, well, you see, for the
00:03:28.400 Branch Covidians, as we call them on this show, the COVID zealots, that was just not going to be okay.
00:03:33.720 They want the government to bring back masks, to reinstate mask mandates, and to force everyone else
00:03:39.040 to live by their standards, evangelizing on behalf of their cult. So on social media for this whole
00:03:45.260 week, the hashtag bring back masks has been trending. It's been trending in Canada. It's
00:03:50.440 even been trending in the United States. They've really been pushing this, this loud, but I would
00:03:54.440 imagine likely a minority of people, they have been pushing this hashtag on social media like crazy.
00:04:01.080 And of course, along with pushing that hashtag comes these absurd takes. Look at this idea we have
00:04:05.520 to wear KN95 masks, like these giant bird beak masks, a face shield, four or five boosters,
00:04:13.480 and whatever else they want us to do. Next thing you know, we'll have to, we'll have to throw on
00:04:16.740 gloves and a hazmat suit. Don't be surprised, honestly, if there is some sort of gloves or suit
00:04:23.580 that comes along and gets tacked on to the Branch Covidian uniform. I would not be surprised because when
00:04:29.180 you take a look at some of these takes, you'll see the masks they're wearing. They're not wearing
00:04:32.840 regular masks, guys. They've even passed the bird beak mask. They're in like the graffiti mask
00:04:37.560 territory. It's whack. It's totally insane. But let's go through some of these takes because it
00:04:41.460 really just shows us where these people are living and where they're coming from. And I have to say,
00:04:46.540 when I read some of this, I do actually feel a bit bad for these people. I feel bad because I think
00:04:51.000 they've been tricked. I think they've been duped by the medical industry or by the government to
00:04:55.420 believe that this virus is going to kill them immediately. And they live in a paralyzed state of
00:05:00.180 fear. I genuinely feel bad for these people because I don't think that they will really
00:05:03.900 be able to fully drop this. I think you will always be afraid of COVID. And I think we have
00:05:07.960 to have some compassion for these people. But of course, along with compassion also comes a bit of
00:05:12.720 mockery. We can laugh at them too. So we're going to do that right now. So apparently the bring back
00:05:16.840 masks hashtag can be traced back to this woman here, Dahlia Hassan, and she's part of the COVID
00:05:22.840 zealot cult. She writes here, we did it, friends. We're trying to bring back masks so we can draw
00:05:27.320 attention to the need for high quality N95 plus fitted masks to help curb the transmission of
00:05:33.560 hashtag COVID-19. The ultimate goal of masking is to help protect our community from the negative
00:05:38.760 impacts of infection and hashtag long COVID. You had to wear the N95 fitted mask. No matter how many
00:05:44.920 boosters you get, five, six, seven boosters, you better wear that giant painter's mask. Otherwise,
00:05:49.880 you're going to put the whole community at risk. So this is exactly what I'm talking about when it
00:05:53.720 comes to the masks. They have, they have upgraded the N95 bird beak mask to something I have not even
00:05:59.780 ever, I've not even seen. Check this out. This is a York university professor who wanted to help out
00:06:06.680 with the hashtag bring back masks. And he writes masked work, hashtag bring back masks. And look at
00:06:13.160 what this guy is wearing. I mean, look at that. What, what, what even is it? I've never seen someone in
00:06:18.460 the street wear that. And I live in Toronto of all places. Believe me, I've seen almost every single
00:06:22.520 type of mask. This is new. This is a new, this is a new piece of, of technology. And I really hope it
00:06:28.180 works for Dr. James here. I really hope that he doesn't catch COVID because that would really suck.

00:06:44.860 students in, at York university, he is staying safe from COVID. So when I saw this next tweet,
00:06:50.260 this one really got to me, it actually really made me upset because what we're looking at here
00:06:53.960 is a mother who has successfully convinced her child that this virus is so dangerous that even
00:07:01.400 if she takes her mask off for just a second, it could damage her. It could kill her. Even this
00:07:05.520 mother is very proud to have convinced her daughter that she is in such danger of this virus. She can't
00:07:10.620 even for a school photograph, take off her absurdly weird looking mask. Take a look at this.
00:07:16.800 The photographer at picture day said she had to take her mask off for her photo.
00:07:20.880 She said she would do no such thing and held her ground when they continued to push proud mama
00:07:25.180 moment. But seriously, hashtag bring back mask. You can see, look at this mask. This daughter is
00:07:30.780 wearing. This mother has successfully brainwashed her child into thinking this virus is going to kill
00:07:36.340 her. And this is crazy. Like, are we really going to say this is, this is like normal? It's,
00:07:41.160 it just can't be considered normal, honestly. And this is exactly why I talk about the fact that
00:07:46.400 we can have this conversation and it's important to have this conversation. Of course,
00:07:50.680 why would there be a group of people who want to force their ideology onto everyone else when the
00:07:55.620 freedom exists for them to wear masks? They can wear masks however they want, however many masks they
00:08:00.380 want, however many boosters you want. You can do that to protect yourself. And if you feel comfortable
00:08:04.600 doing that, then do that. That is, you are totally allowed. But this idea that you have to then force
00:08:10.380 everyone else who doesn't want to wear a mask, who doesn't think they need to wear a mask,
00:08:14.200 that the idea that you have to force all of us to wear masks is just absurd.
00:08:18.060 So then I came across this video here, and this is from a guy who I don't imagine, I can't imagine
00:08:23.720 as a doctor. He makes no mention of him being a doctor in any of his tweets or in his, in his
00:08:28.100 Twitter bio. In fact, his Twitter bio just says just some dude, but he's got 15,000 followers.
00:08:34.240 And he put out a video that got 20,000 views, basically telling everyone, including the prime
00:08:39.220 minister, that we cannot stop wearing masks on airplanes. We have to keep wearing masks on
00:08:44.560 airplanes. So check out what this guy has to say. It really just shows you where these people are
00:08:48.920 coming from. And they are way out there, way off base with, I think, the majority of people
00:08:54.160 who are living a normal life in society.
00:08:56.760 So the federal government is ending the mandatory masking on transport here in Canada and airplanes
00:09:01.660 and trains and such. And it really makes no sense to do this right now because we are still in an
00:09:05.680 active pandemic. There's lots of COVID all over the country, but especially because we're heading
00:09:09.340 into a flu season that people are forecasting to be very terrible. So, uh, you know, with that being
00:09:14.060 said, uh, we're not adapting to the environment.
00:09:16.660 Did you hear what he said there? He said, we're still in an active pandemic environment, which arguably
00:09:21.860 is just not the case. Look outside, go outside anywhere. There are no masks. The pandemic
00:09:26.740 is clearly over. And the president of the United States agrees.

00:09:34.560 But then he says, on top of that, we're heading into a very, we're heading into a potentially
00:09:38.960 very rough flu season. And because of that, we need to wear masks. No, no, no, no, not
00:09:44.140 f***ing happening. We're not going to do that, man. We're going to live our lives normally
00:09:47.580 and you can wear a mask. No one is going to stop you from wearing a mask. And if that is the
00:09:51.700 case, why would you not just wear a mask? The idea that we're all going to have to wear a mask
00:09:56.500 because of the flu is absurd. It's patently absurd.
00:10:00.180 Almost three years ago, COVID came on the scene and we started doing these, you know,
00:10:05.180 peace work, mitigating strategies and ending masks and putting them back in and all that
00:10:10.880 when really they should have just been instilled organically until, you know, we really see
00:10:14.920 an end to the pandemic. So just because deaths are down doesn't mean we've won the war against
00:10:19.020 COVID. So what we're seeing is people thinking that because not a lot of people are dying
00:10:22.360 immediately that, you know, COVID is no big deal and it's mild and whatever.
00:10:25.380 Oh, but now you go a little bit further in the video. Well, we should, we should at least
00:10:29.380 just force masks on everyone until the end of the pandemic. So which, which is it? Which
00:10:33.720 is it? Is it, is it, we have to wear masks because of the flu or is it the pandemic isn't
00:10:37.300 over because you say it isn't over and because that we all have to wear masks.
00:10:40.680 What we're doing right now though, is we're leaving it wide open for COVID to just be, you
00:10:44.740 know, floating around all these essential environments like grocery stores, travel, uh, pharmacies,
00:10:49.500 things like that. When people should feel at the most safe when they go to these
00:10:53.640 places, because it is a common area. So you have a lot of immunocompromised people who
00:10:57.920 have to go into these areas and now they have to worry because there's no masking in
00:11:01.520 any of those spaces. The mask logic, of course, just doesn't make any sense. Everyone has
00:11:06.280 to be wearing a mask. And if one person isn't wearing a mask, then the whole, then all the
00:11:10.620 other masks don't work. So that would presume then that none of the masks work to begin
00:11:14.220 with. I have to show you one last tweet in the bring back masks hashtag, because to me,
00:11:18.480 this one was besides the mother who was very proud of basically scaring her daughter into
00:11:23.960 being paralyzed with fear. This one is really special. This comes from Dr. Lisa Atlanta
00:11:31.340 Tone, who's a med school prof in Montreal. Take a look at what she has to write. It's
00:11:36.100 interesting to see people treat the statement, catching COVID repeatedly until it kills you
00:11:40.000 as hyperbole. COVID is a leading cause of death across all ages. If nothing changes, then
00:11:47.040 losing people we care about to COVID will be as common as cancer, heart disease, or dementia.
00:11:52.480 Well, as you can imagine, this tweet got quite a lot of attention because, of course, some
00:11:57.440 people liked it. And then other people called her out on her blatant mistruth in that statement.
00:12:02.460 The truth is, as everybody knows, cancer is the leading cause of death in this country.
00:12:06.620 And cancer is a leading cause of death by a very wide margin. It's not even close, actually,
00:12:12.880 compared to COVID. And then when you take the Stats Canada data, the latest Stats
00:12:16.920 Canada data, which is of 2020, it becomes even clearer that, as a matter of fact, the idea that
00:12:22.080 COVID is a leading cause of death across all ages is clearly and evidently untrue. Truth is, guys,
00:12:27.700 we're just going to have to live with COVID as we already do, and we do so just fine. And because
00:12:31.380 of that, we're also going to have to live with the COVID zealots. At least, however, we can laugh
00:12:35.260 at them while we do it. The CBC is a complete and utter embarrassment for our nation. I know we've
00:12:40.340 said it many times. They are a total joke. It's a disgrace, actually, what they have become.
00:12:46.700 It's like the CBC have blinders on, you know? It's like they refuse to acknowledge the reality
00:12:52.560 around them. That, one, no one is watching them. Their ratings are plummeting. Also,
00:12:57.560 their revenue is plummeting. They have to get bailed out with more and more money every single year.
00:13:01.840 The government has to keep giving them more and more money, our money, every single year for them
00:13:05.920 to stay afloat. And on top of that, Conservative Party members have voted in two leaders of the
00:13:11.560 party who have both run with a key promise on the leadership campaign to defund the CBC. But the
00:13:17.380 CBC still refuses to acknowledge that they are off-step with Canadians. They are not providing
00:13:21.740 Canadians with content that fulfills the CBC's mandate, which is to help promote Canadian culture.
00:13:27.700 Two weeks ago, and I can't believe we missed this, but we did miss this. Two weeks ago,
00:13:31.220 the CBC hosted on CBC Gem. They published a documentary called Deconstructing Karen.
00:13:37.720 Let me just read to you how the CBC describes this documentary.

00:13:47.320 The main course is a radically open and honest conversation on racism. While sipping wine and
00:13:52.640 passing the breadbasket, these women go on an eye-opening journey, discovering how they uphold

00:14:03.880 there is a resistance. But for all the women, something changes and they can never unknow the
00:14:08.500 painful truths revealed over dinner. Wow, how powerful from the CBC. What you're about to watch
00:14:15.360 was paid for by your hard-earned tax dollars. That's a very important factor. I always try and
00:14:20.060 remind people, whether it's on Fake News Friday or it's on this show, anytime you see something

00:16:08.260 that's the last thing I think we all want in this country. But if you're the CBC, that seems to be
00:16:13.260 their priority. They want to inject this stuff straight into our culture and do so by pushing

00:18:19.960 and Fisheries. So what happened was on Sunday, as part of the series of communications made on Twitter,
00:18:25.080 the Fisheries and Oceans Ministry made a series of communications to those living in the eye of
00:18:30.040 the storm in the path of Hurricane Fiona. And one of their communications, I think, you know,
00:18:35.340 really exemplified Canada's public service. The overbearing, overwhelming bureaucracy and the fact
00:18:41.240 that no matter what's going on, Canada's bureaucracy is always going to be there to annoy you, to stop
00:18:46.480 you, and to get in your way. Here's what they write while Fiona is bearing down and destroying homes
00:18:52.440 on Canada's East Coast. While this is happening, while people are literally watching their homes
00:18:56.000 and their possessions get washed out to sea. This is what they wanted to remind all of those people
00:19:01.080 who have just had their homes ripped out of the ground and are now basically homeless. As well,
00:19:06.060 if you find lobsters washed up on the shore after the storm, remember, it is illegal to harvest them.
00:19:11.420 Simply leave them there. In the middle of the storm, it's in the middle of the storm, 10 30 a.m. on
00:19:15.880 Sunday, while this thing is ripping people's homes apart, Fisheries and Oceans just wanted to remind

00:19:25.660 fisherman. No, I know your job is to go and get the lobster for all of us, but no, none for you today.

00:19:41.260 the mockery got so bad that Fisheries and Oceans deleted the tweet and apologized for their tweet.
00:19:46.080 But before they deleted the tweet, we caught it at 56 likes and 254 quote tweets. We don't even know
00:19:53.740 how many replies are there, but I can imagine if there were 254 quote tweets, there were easily
00:19:59.580 well over 300 to 400 replies before Fisheries and Oceans deleted the tweet and had to apologize.
00:20:05.580 So they did, they did delete it. They wrote this. We would like to apologize for the ill-timed tweet
00:20:10.060 regarding Hurricane Fiona from earlier today. You can rest assured that safety and security of
00:20:14.640 Canadians in the region is our priority. But you see there though, they didn't make any comment
00:20:19.160 about the fact that you could go eat the lobsters. You still can't eat the lobster. You see that fresh
00:20:23.440 fish? None for you. Like I said, guys, what would we possibly do without our hardworking
