And so what is the message that you have when you speak to schools, you speak to students,
00:00:05.040
you speak to young Canadians? What is it that you think is important that they know
00:00:09.440
about what you lived through, what the Second World War was fought for, and what Canada means to you?
00:00:17.760
Well, what it means is that just cherish what they have, look around what they've got,
00:00:22.800
they're able to walk, be able to get a job where they want, be able to travel where they want,
00:00:27.600
they can do what they want each day, get up, they can take what job they want,
00:00:32.560
but they have the freedom of choice. It's a matter of preparing themselves for that choice.
00:00:38.080
And they stick at the advantage of that. Don't take it for granted. Just realize what you have
00:00:47.200
and utilize every aspect you can of your energy and your education to do the best you can to make
00:00:54.080
a living because you've got your whole life ahead of you. You've got to prepare for it. You've got to
00:00:59.600
make sure you've got a good foundation and you've got to look ahead, prepare yourself for not only the
00:01:06.640
next year, but look ahead a bit and say, well, how am I preparing today so I'm better off next year and
00:01:15.280
the year after? Like if you're looking forward to when you first get started, you get married,
00:01:21.040
do you want to get a, you want to get a house? How are you going to have to plan ahead of time?
00:01:25.600
How are you going to plan to get that? Where are you going to go? And in the meantime,
00:01:29.920
you've got your own job. You're preparing yourself for your own job and you're improving yourself
00:01:36.640
in your education and work habits so you get ahead of your job and earn more money because without
00:01:43.280
earning the money, you're not going to go anywhere. You've got to get a good foundation of work habits and education.
00:02:09.920
That's how it feels like we're discovering how you're measuringoise approach tomorrow.
