Justin Trudeau's government is ignoring a global pandemic of a virus that could have wiped out half of Canada's population in less than a year. And yet, there are still no travel restrictions from China where the virus originated. Why is this happening?

00:00:32.040now they are dealing with the global pandemic of the Wuhan coronavirus. As of this date, there
00:00:38.380are still no travel restrictions from China where the virus originated. There are multiple
00:00:44.640flights originating from mainland China to YVR airport in Vancouver every day. Flights
00:00:51.600from Iran and Italy, two other hotspots for the virus, also come to Canada every day.
00:00:57.380On March 13th, Global Affairs Canada issued an advisory warning saying to Canadians not
00:01:03.560to travel abroad. So according to the logic of the Prime Minister, it's not advisable for
00:01:09.040Canadians to travel abroad, but it's okay for those in affected countries to travel here
00:01:15.100with a bandit. You can't make this up. Just three weeks after the virus was identified,
00:01:21.880U.S. President Donald Trump banned all travel from China to his country. Just this week Trump
00:01:27.440banned inbound travel from Europe, and on Saturday he included the UK and Ireland in that ban.
00:01:34.380But Canada? Not a thing. The most recent data from the government as of March 14th was that
00:01:43.000there were 193 total cases of coronavirus, or COVID-19 as it has come to be called, in Canada.
00:01:49.500Of these 190 were travel related, either the direct traveller or close family members of the traveller.
00:01:56.380The other three cases appeared to be administrators from Lionsgate Hospital in North Vancouver. In other
00:02:04.180words, many, if not all of the cases in Canada to date, could have been prevented with a travel ban,
00:02:11.020similar to the ban initiated by the United States. The Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland,
00:02:16.960said on CBC News that, quote, enhanced screening, unquote, was taking place at our airports from
00:02:24.160countries with big coronavirus outbreaks. It turns out the enhanced screening she talks of
00:02:30.100consists of nothing more than a questionnaire asking travellers if they had been in Wuhan, China.
00:02:34.420Any traveller from anywhere else were simply asked where they had been. Their response,
00:02:41.360and the health of Canadians, was left to travellers on the honour system.
00:02:46.360There is nothing new, of course. Our governments have been lying to us for years.
00:02:51.360Why is there a carbon tax in this country? Oh, because of climate change. And what evidence is there of climate change?
00:02:57.420The simple answer is, there is none. We have been told that global warming would cause the oceans to rise,
00:03:06.360and low-lying countries, like the Maldives, would simply disappear. Interesting enough, this was first floated as a threat of climate change,
00:03:16.580or global warming as it was called then, in 1988. We were told that the Maldives had roughly 30 years,
00:03:24.420and they'd be gone by 2018 if the developed world didn't take significant action. In 2019-2020,
00:03:33.420the Maldives opened four new airports and 13 brand new resorts for tourists. They still sit one metre above sea level,
00:03:42.420the exact same as they did in 1988. Every dollar of carbon tax the government takes from Canadians is a lie.
00:03:50.420It does nothing but add to government coffers and does absolutely nothing for the climate.
00:03:57.420One thing we can be assured of with this government is that they will do nothing to help Canada, help Canadians,
00:04:05.420and all along the way, they will not be open and honest with the country.
