00:00:22.120 how U.S. intelligence officials don't trust the official Chinese line and the official Chinese
00:00:27.680 numbers when it comes to coronavirus. Now, this is what the Canadian Health Minister had to say.
00:00:34.040 There's no indication that the data that came out of China in terms of their infection
00:00:39.020 rate and their death rate was falsified in any way. In fact, if you look at the death
00:00:43.860 rate overall in China, it's much higher than the one we're seeing now.
00:00:47.080 I would say that your question is feeding into conspiracy theories that many people have
00:01:03.080 been perpetuating on the internet. And it's important to remember that there is no way
00:01:08.680 to beat a global pandemic if we're actually not willing to work together as a globe.
00:01:12.940 Okay, did you hear that? First, Patti Hadieu, she says that there is no indication that the data that
00:01:19.040 came out of China in terms of their infection rate and their death rate is falsified in any way,
00:01:23.340 that there's no indication. Okay, wait a minute. The entire premise of the question came from a
00:01:28.840 Bloomberg report that does just that. It does give a very clear indication that China has falsified
00:01:35.920 their report. So let me just read from this Bloomberg report here. The headline says,
00:01:41.920 China concealed extent of the virus and outbreak U.S. intelligence officers say. Here I'll read from
00:01:47.680 the report. It says, China has concealed the extent of the coronavirus outbreak in its country.
00:01:53.900 Under reporting both total cases and deaths it suffered from the disease, the U.S. intelligence
00:01:59.080 community concluded in a classified report to the White House, according to three U.S. officials.
00:02:05.280 The officials asked not to be identified because their report is secret and they declined to detail
00:02:10.460 its contents. But the thrust, they said, is that China's public reporting on cases and deaths is
00:02:15.940 intentionally incomplete. Two of the officials said the report concludes that China's numbers are
00:02:21.740 fake. China's numbers are fake. They're fake. So this is Canada's top ally, our most important partner
00:02:28.840 and our North American security partner. And here we have the Canadian health minister
00:02:34.060 basically saying that she doesn't trust the U.S. information, that she doesn't trust a story
00:02:39.300 that was based on U.S. intelligence sources and a document given to the White House. So rather than
00:02:45.940 trusting our top ally and our sort of cultural neighbor and partner, instead, the Trudeau government
00:02:53.200 says that they would rather trust China. They would rather trust China. Just think about that for a second.
00:02:58.380 In a situation where the globe is in the midst of a pandemic, a health pandemic that originated
00:03:04.620 in China, that was the result of bad practices in China. The origin of this disease is believed to
00:03:11.380 have come from a wet market where exotic animals are killed or sold alive and eaten by people.
00:03:18.540 That's the origin of this disease. The Chinese government refuses to crack down on it.
00:03:22.220 Then the Chinese government lied for weeks, if not months, about the human to human transmission
00:03:27.960 of this virus. China is to blame. China is a very, very bad actor in all of this. They deserve to
00:03:34.400 pay for what they have done. And yet the health minister is actually kind of defending China and
00:03:40.640 in some ways repeating propaganda lies from the communist regime. China does not have a free and
00:03:47.080 fair press. So we have to take with a grain of salt and a high degree of skepticism, the numbers that
00:03:52.280 come out of China. It's an autocratic communist regime that has lied throughout this entire pandemic.
00:03:57.420 So we shouldn't trust them. They don't have a free press like we do in Canada and in the West. So
00:04:03.380 even the press is highly suspect. It's all kind of communist government owned. But there are free
00:04:09.180 journalists. There are independent journalists. Many of them who are early whistleblowers have been
00:04:13.820 arrested or disappeared by the communist regime because they've been speaking out. But there was a
00:04:19.340 report that came out of Radio Free Asia. This came out on March 27th. And it says estimates show Wuhan
00:04:26.980 death toll far higher than official figures. And let me read from this because this also provides some
00:04:33.020 evidence to suggest that China is lying. So it says as authorities lifted a two month coronavirus
00:04:39.300 lockdown in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, residents said they were growing increasingly skeptical
00:04:45.100 of the figure of some 2500 deaths in the city to date was accurate. Since the start of the week, seven
00:04:52.620 large funeral homes in Wuhan have been handing out cremated remains of around 500 people to families
00:04:58.220 every single day, suggesting far more people died than ever made the official statistics. It can't be right
00:05:04.780 because the incinerators have been working around the clock. So how can so few people have died, a Wuhan resident
00:05:10.220 said on Friday. Okay, so seven funeral homes currently serve Wuhan. Social media users have been doing some
00:05:17.740 basic math to figure out their daily capacity. So one news outlet reported that there were 5,000 urns
00:05:25.420 delivered to just one funeral home in one day alone. That would be double the official death rate for the
00:05:30.140 entire region to one funeral home in one day. So some other estimates suggest that there have been
00:05:37.340 3,500 urns every single day in total among the seven funeral homes. So just doing some basic
00:05:43.820 calculation, the estimate of the number of people who died just in Wuhan alone, just in that one Chinese
00:05:49.660 city, the epicenter of the virus, the communist government says it's 2,500. Estimates range from 42,000
00:05:57.500 all the way up to 46,800. That's just based on the use of those funeral homes and the number of urns.
00:06:04.620 So to go back to Patti Haiju's comment and saying that there's no indication to believe that China is lying,
00:06:10.780 yes, yes, there's so much indication. There are so many things that have happened to make us believe
00:06:17.420 that China is not telling the truth or at least to bring some skepticism toward it. And seeing a Canadian
00:06:23.020 official just brazenly call out a reporter to defend the communist regime as they have unleashed this deadly
00:06:30.940 pandemic on the on the globe. And also to call out that journalist as a conspiracy theorist for asking
00:06:37.500 questions and doing his job. That's a shameful, shameful moment for Canada. Let me just say Patti
00:06:43.580 Haiju is looking more like an autocratic leader from China than she is the health minister of a free
