Where has the Prime Minister been since election night? Where has he been for the past two weeks? And why has he jetted off to Tofino, British Columbia to surf the waves? Well, it's not just the hypocrisy of the climate emergency as he took a taxpayer-funded plane from Ottawa to the west coast for exactly what?

00:00:00.000 It's been almost two weeks since the federal election and the Prime Minister has been conspicuous with his absence.
00:00:15.000 Where has he been? Well, there's been a number of private meetings according to the official website of the PMO.
00:00:22.000 Oh, and a couple of personal days, too. This weekend he is in Tofino, British Columbia, surfing.
00:00:29.000 So let me get this straight. In July, our sanctimonious Prime Minister declared a climate emergency and then promptly went on holiday.
00:00:37.000 Well, he's done it again. The hypocrisy never ends with this guy. 0.98
00:00:43.000 But it's not just the hypocrisy of the climate emergency as he jets around the country for no apparent reason. 0.89
00:00:49.000 There is no government business in Tofino. Yet he took a taxpayer-funded plane from Ottawa to the west coast for exactly what?
00:00:57.000 What about his carbon footprint in a private plane funded by the taxpayer that he need not have taken during this climate emergency?
00:01:05.000 I'm so sick of the lecturing we are getting from the likes of this Prime Minister and his Environment Minister, Catherine McKenna.
00:01:11.000 She of the do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do class of limousine liberal.
00:01:16.000 While the Prime Minister was planning his trip to Tofino, the energy company in Canna announced it was decamping from Alberta for the friendlier climes of the United States.
00:01:26.000 So where was the PM? You'd almost think he'd want to intervene and see if anything could be done to alleviate the issues that precipitated that move. Almost.
00:01:36.000 So where's the Prime Minister been since election night? Frankly, he's been hiding. Why? That's a whole other question.
00:01:43.000 He lost over a million votes from the election in 2015. That's a lot. So why is he still Prime Minister?
00:01:51.000 The Liberal Party machine and its big Union backers virtually guarantee it. And frankly, it's offensive.
00:01:57.000 Never mind what's good for the country. The only thing that's important is what's good for the Liberals and their Union backers.
00:02:04.000 And frankly, I'm sick of it. I want to see a government that represents what we the people want, not what Jerry Diaz and the Unifor Union wants.
00:02:14.000 For True North, I'm Leo Knight.
