00:00:44.940 just doesn't feel like Canada anymore. And yes, we had an election last year where a bunch of people

00:00:51.560 in the mainstream media whipped up a narrative that Canada was experiencing existential threat

00:00:56.100 from the United States and from President Trump. And we had the whole elbows up thing, which made

00:01:00.580 Canadians sort of temporarily feel good about ourselves. All of a sudden, you could wave a

00:01:04.680 Canadian flag again without being canceled or dismissed as some kind of a renegade or racist,

00:01:09.680 right? It became mainstream to love Canada again, which is great. But it covered the fact that things

00:01:14.680 are not going well in our country. Stories that would have been absolutely unheard of a decade ago,

00:01:20.060 or even just a few years ago, become commonplace. We hear about them all the time. Folks, this is not

00:01:26.280 normal. And an election campaign can't cover that up, right? Mark Carney hasn't made real changes. He

00:01:31.880 hasn't changed the fundamental problems that Trudeau brought in his predecessors. So yeah, we have a new

00:01:38.180 leader. Yeah, he has a different focus. And he ran on a campaign basically disavowing and promising to

00:01:43.720 run away from everything that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau implemented. And yet the same problems

00:01:49.940 persist because he's not addressing them, right? He's in China this week, trying to work out a trade

00:01:54.160 deal with the communist regime. You know what? I don't care about that. I don't care about a trade 0.80

00:01:58.620 deal with Canada. I care about my country, Canada, not being overrun with violent criminals, with thugs,

00:02:05.840 with a revolving door prison system that seems to reward the perpetrators of crime,

00:02:17.300 show you just a few news stories, a handful of stories in the news this week that really underline

00:02:23.020 this case, that Canada has embraced maximum chaos, that we have lost control of our country,

00:02:29.580 that law and order is not a priority at all of this government, and that Canada is experiencing

00:02:36.160 a rapid collapse. So the first story I want to talk to, I'm going to show a clip from

00:02:40.800 CTV News here, talking about an absolutely horrific, like nightmare of nightmare scenario,

00:02:46.720 an elderly couple murdered in their home by a group of thugs who actually used to work for the

00:02:53.200 family. One of them being an international student, we just learned this week, who had been in Canada

00:02:57.960 for less than a month before allegedly perpetrating this heinous crime. So let's play this clip. It

00:03:04.840 appeared on Monday, January 12th on CTV News.

00:03:08.760 In a double murder case say the motive was greed. Three men are accused of brutally killing an elderly

00:03:14.920 Abbotsford couple in their home. The courtroom was packed with family and friends of the seniors

00:03:20.340 whose lives came to an horrific end. CTV's Michelle Bernaro has the story and a warning. Some of the details

00:03:27.040 are graphic. Those who knew Arnold and Joanne DeYoung say they were wonderful people.

00:03:32.160 They were caring. They were loving. They gave so much to us. But in May of 2022, the seniors both in

00:03:40.120 their late 70s were found murdered in their own home. Court heard their hands and feet had been tied

00:03:45.480 with rope. Arnold's entire head and face was tightly wrapped in duct tape. The prosecution says

00:03:51.660 evidence will show Joanne DeYoung died of blunt force trauma and her husband from asphyxiation.

00:03:57.580 The fact that this could happen to them, it just is unbelievable and is shocking. And I think

00:04:05.580 everybody should take notice that the world that we live in is there's evil. The way they were tragically

00:04:11.660 taken is abhorring. But their faith in God, we know where they are. And we have comfort in that.

00:04:24.540 Three Suri men, Gurkaran Singh, Abhijit Singh and Khushvir Tour are each charged with two counts of

00:04:31.020 first-degree murder. They've pleaded not guilty. Crown says Gurkaran Singh was in Canada on a student visa,

00:04:37.420 arriving less than a month before the killings. Crown alleges the three acted as a team

00:04:42.620 and violently confined the DeYoungs in separate bedrooms and then murdered them. Crown claims they

00:04:48.140 were all motivated by debt, financial pressure and greed. The prosecution also alleges the accused

00:04:53.980 stole Arnold's credit cards and checks. It's like a nightmare and it continues to be a nightmare. Crown

00:05:00.380 told court that Abhijit Singh's cleaning company had done work on the couple's home twice,

00:05:05.020 including the month before the murders. Meanwhile, the DeYoungs children say they are frustrated with

00:05:09.900 how long it's taken for the case to get to court, but they are hoping there will be justice. The

00:05:15.260 trial is expected to last eight weeks. Michelle Bernouro, CTV News, Abbotsford. I have absolutely

00:05:22.140 no patience for this whatsoever. Those three men need to face the full extent of the law and they need

00:05:28.140 to get out of our country. These kind of people should not be welcomed into our country in the first 1.00

00:05:33.100 place. This was a premeditated attack. You heard in that news clip that they had had a cleaning

00:05:37.740 service, that they had used a service. The elderly couple had used a service and for that crime, 0.86

00:05:43.980 they were brutally murdered in their home. I also like to point out the CTV story refers to these

00:05:48.860 men as Surrey men. I'm sorry, if you just got off a plane from India, in no world should you be described

00:05:54.540 as a Surrey man. You are not. You are an Indian and that is where you should go back. And Canada needs to 1.00

00:05:59.340 really take this seriously. We shouldn't be allowing open border, mass migration, people coming 1.00

00:06:04.940 into Canada under the ruse of being an international student. We all know that that is total nonsense.

00:06:45.260 Canada who will have expired or expiring permits this year in 2026. CBC wonders, will any of them leave?

00:06:51.900 Great question. There were 5 million of them last year in 2025. The National Post points out 5 million

00:06:57.660 people had their visas expired in 2025. I wonder how many of them had to leave. You know, it's not

00:07:03.580 very complicated policy here to just say, hey, anybody who has an expired permit needs to get out of the

00:07:09.740 country. You cannot be here. It is illegal for you to be here. And I'd like you to go. You can leave now.

00:07:15.820 You are not welcome here. We do not want you here. Leave. Get out of our country. If you want to come 0.64

00:07:47.500 from 2021 to 2025, they're just in four years. The number of non-permanent residents, so people on 0.98

00:07:53.500 temporary visas, temporary students, temporary foreign workers, went from 2.5% all the way up to 7%.

00:08:07.820 talk about here in Canada is the rise of extortion gangs and violent crimes, shootings, gun attacks that we see

00:08:15.820 on a regular basis in two of our largest city suburbs, I'm talking about in Surrey, British Columbia,

00:08:22.060 and in and around Brampton, Ontario, where there are large residents, population of Indians. And this

00:08:29.020 extortion gang, again, absolutely out of control. This kind of thing would have never happened in

00:08:34.220 Canada in the past, should never happen. It is a telltale sign that our country is spiraling out of

00:08:39.100 control, that we have lost control of law and order. There is no law and order when you have extortion gangs

00:08:44.620 shooting up businesses, threatening extortion and kidnapping to Canadians. And this is all

00:08:50.620 happening. Where are the police? Why aren't these people being arrested? Why aren't the foreigners 1.00

00:08:55.740 being deported again? Let's play a CTV news story focusing in on this Surrey extortion ring.

00:09:03.900 Bullets fired into businesses, homes, and cars to intimidate victims into paying up.

00:09:09.820 It's happening every few days to start 2026 in Metro Vancouver, the latest shooting this morning in

00:09:15.820 Surrey. We understand the impact this has not only on people who are victimized, but the community at

00:09:20.780 large. It's obviously concerning. The victims, primarily South Asian business owners, receive a

00:09:25.660 call or text demanding cash or their family will be harmed. The criminals reference personal information

00:09:31.580 and routines, like what time the victims' children get home from school. Or else, if you will not take it,

00:09:37.420 will kill your family. It's also happening a lot in Ontario's Peel region, the site of an anti-extortion

00:09:45.580 summit involving government and police last week. In some cases, officials say the suspects are taking

00:09:51.580 direction from gangs in India. That's where BC Premier David Eby is this week on a trade mission that was

00:09:58.380 criticized. Surrey right now is going through a huge amount of extortion threats from India. Unless you

00:10:06.540 start to address the issue and help us, then what's the point of doing any trading? 100% agree there.

00:10:15.420 The Premier of British Columbia, what an absolute fool. He's in India trying to get trade deals. 1.00

00:10:20.700 Meanwhile, the Indian government has been found to be collaborating with criminal gangs in Canada.

00:10:26.220 Why isn't that the subject of the summit in India? This was a story released earlier this week from

00:10:31.500 Global News. RCMP report alleges Indian government ties to Bishnoi Gang in Canada. A classified RCMP

00:10:38.220 report obtained by Global News on January 12th labels the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang a violent group

00:10:43.980 involved in drugs, extortion and murders while claiming it operates on behalf of India, the Indian

00:10:49.020 government. It links to the gang killings in 2023 of Sikh activists in Surrey and in Winnipeg amid broader

00:10:56.700 accusations of Indian agents targeting pro-Calistine figures. So you have Indian on Indian crime here in 0.89

00:11:03.660 Canada. The RCMP knows about it. There's a report, a classified report, but what are they doing about

00:11:08.460 it while our politicians are off in India, whining and dining with the elite over there, completely

00:11:14.060 ignoring it. Of course, it's not just happening in Surrey, British Columbia, in and around Brampton,

00:11:17.900 including Caledon, a beautiful rural area just outside of Toronto. Beautiful, beautiful rolling

00:11:23.500 hills up there. And yet, you know, these gun drive-by shootings have become the norm in quiet, sleepy,

00:11:30.940 suburban Ontario. This is a clip from Global News describing the problem out there.

00:11:35.820 An attack because Dharmjit Mand refused to pay, one bullet piercing a trailer, then penetrating the

00:11:44.620 house. He said, you have to donate us $2 million. That's your duty to give us $2 million. I said,

00:11:52.300 $2 million. I thought somebody was yoking. Dharmjit says the calls and voice messages

00:11:57.820 telling him to give millions of dollars started about two months before the shooting. Messages,

00:12:03.580 the same thing. If I don't pay them, so they can, they can shoot me. Another came afterwards. 0.99

00:12:11.260 The caller says next time, the bullets will be fired inside Dharmjit's home at his forehead.

00:12:17.580 And the caller says he's from the Lawrence Bishnoy gang. Lawrence Bishnoy has been in prison in India

00:12:23.180 since 2015, but is allegedly still running an international criminal gang. I don't have any

00:12:29.580 issue with the Lawrence Bishnoy. I don't have no issue with the Indian government. I don't have

00:12:33.580 no issue with anyone here. Dharmjit says he doesn't know why he was targeted. He's a general contractor.

00:12:40.940 And he says the messages are all from the same person. I can recognize the voice. They sent me

00:12:46.380 a voice message too. They sent him a message saying they knew he moved to his brother's house,

00:12:51.260 then attacked again.

00:12:58.540 It was a big noise. It's like glass breaking or it was really weird noise. I never heard that kind of noise.

00:13:05.820 Unbelievable. And it doesn't end there. Here's a CP news story and broadcast talking about a drive-by

00:13:13.820 shooting in the snow in Brampton that just happened a few days ago.

00:13:17.020 The gunman firing at least eight shots at a Brampton home last weekend.

00:13:21.820 It was recorded by someone working with the gunman who was sitting in the car.

00:13:26.460 A neighbor's camera also picked up the shooting. You can see it in the top left of your screen.

00:13:31.740 Bullets smashed through the cars parked on the driveway and the garage door.

00:13:35.980 The homeowner, his wife and small child were inside. They were not hurt.

00:13:40.460 The next day, this video showing the gunman firing the shots

00:13:44.300 was sent to the homeowner and a text message with a demand for half a million dollars.

00:13:51.340 These kind of stories have become all too frequent. Just in the last week, we had three different

00:13:55.260 news reports from three different places in Canada featuring these stories of extortion,

00:14:00.300 drive-by shootings. Where do these thugs get these guns from? Why is the Canadian government targeting

00:14:06.220 legal, lawful gun owners rather than these thugs who probably have illegal guns and they're just

00:14:11.660 shooting them off recklessly in nice suburban areas? Folks, this is the kind of thing you would

00:14:15.900 expect to hear about in Mexico, where drug cartels rule the land. Maybe in Venezuela,

00:14:21.100 a total failed state, a collapsing civilization. No, no, no. This is happening in quiet, sleepy

00:14:27.020 subdivisions that have large Indian populations. Again, very much Indian on Indian crime. It is totally 1.00

00:14:33.660 insane. I'm sorry. The Canada I grew up in did not have home invasions. It did not have frequent

00:14:38.780 carjackings. It did not have thugs shooting up your home in the middle of the night if you failed

00:14:44.140 to pay extortion fees. This is not Canada. These are not the kinds of things that are supposed to be

00:14:50.060 happening in our country. And yet again, our leaders are sort of off the hook. They're off

00:14:54.860 gallivanting and trying to set up trade deals and trying to distract you by telling you that the

00:14:59.180 biggest issue in the country is what President Trump is doing rather than what they're allowing to

00:15:03.740 happen in our own backyard. And it isn't just about immigration, folks. It isn't just about the

00:15:10.140 reckless mass immigration, although that is a big problem. But sometimes it's just about the pure 1.00

00:15:15.100 incompetency of our legal system. The third story I want to share with you is just so heinous and so

00:15:20.300 disturbing. I cannot believe it is real. This is about a Lethbridge pedophile who has kidnapped,

00:15:28.060 allegedly drugged and kidnapped girls, young teenage girls, keeping them in his confined situation.

00:15:37.820 And the guy was let out on bail. The guy was let out on bail. Here is a news report describing this

00:15:43.980 unbelievable situation unfolding in Lethbridge, Alberta. On December 19th of 2025, police responded

00:15:50.300 to reports of a 14 year old girl being unlawfully confined inside an apartment along the 500 block

00:15:55.500 of 8th Street South. When police went beyond the front door, they discovered she wasn't the only

00:15:59.740 teenager being held captive. And following the execution of a search warrant, two additional

00:16:03.820 girls aged 15 and 16 were found inside the residence. According to police, the 14 year old girl was

00:16:08.940 drugged and repeatedly sexually assaulted by multiple men over three terrifying days. Any victims of these

00:16:15.260 type of things, okay is relative, right? These are incredibly traumatic incidents that have long-term

00:16:20.460 effects. And so we want to ensure that anyone, not just in this particular case, but any of the

00:16:26.300 victims that we're dealing with receive all available supports. Officers say the other two

00:16:30.620 girls were confined in the residence for several hours. Anytime these types of incidents happen, 0.91

00:16:35.580 it's concerning and public safety has remained our number one priority. And so making sure that these

00:16:41.580 incidents are investigated thoroughly and that we involve all the appropriate resources are paramount.

00:16:46.700 The man arrested, 50 year old Skye Otoa, has also been charged with a previous sexual assault dating

00:16:51.740 back to October. Officers say that investigation was still ongoing when Otoa was arrested last month.

00:16:57.260 While the accused was in custody, we've been in a position to lay additional charges in relation

00:17:01.180 to that investigation. Police say given their investigation and the evidence obtained,

00:17:05.100 there could be more survivors who have yet to report what happened. I encourage and ask anyone who may

00:17:10.780 be a victim or may have additional information to come forward. I'm sorry folks, but the most

00:17:14.860 unbelievable. I mean, the entire story is unbelievable. I have no idea if Skye Otoa is a Canadian or if he's

00:17:19.900 from another place. It's not stated in the piece. It's not clear to me whether he's Canadian or not.

00:17:25.580 But the idea that this man was arrested, held since mid-December, and then released on bail. He was

00:17:32.220 released on bail. Imagine allowing a person like that back out into the community. It is disgusting.

00:17:38.220 James Lindsay, who runs a prominent account on social media, posted this. He said,

00:17:42.300 this, ladies and gentlemen, is what's called the tip of the iceberg, alluding to the idea that these

00:17:47.820 sorts of human trafficking, sexual assault rings where victims are held against their will,

00:17:54.380 and the person, the perpetrator, is just sort of like treated with kid gloves and let off and,

00:17:58.780 oh, okay, go out again, but don't do it again, sir. Tip of the iceberg that it could be much more

00:18:03.980 widespread. I want to read a post from Paul Brandt. Paul Brandt is a recording artist,

00:18:09.420 very famous country music, a singer. He's inducted into the Canadian Country Music

00:18:13.260 Hall of Fame, most awarded male Canadian country artist in our history. And this is what he wrote

00:18:20.300 to, in response to James Lindsay's post. He said, appreciate Conceptual James, which is his Twitter

00:18:25.660 handle, shining a light here. He's right. What happened in Lethbridge is the tip of the iceberg.

00:18:30.140 I'm going to vent a bit. Please, if you care about kids or are concerned about Canada and the horrific

00:18:34.140 direction it is headed, please repose us and demand better from our federal government. I've been

00:18:39.180 sleepless and searching for the right words to describe the anger and frustration I feel,

00:18:44.140 knowing that this injustice has happened in my home province and is happening across this country.

00:18:49.180 I'm truly grieved. He writes, my daughter is 15. These girls assaulted by a Toa are somebody's 0.98

00:18:55.820 daughter too. And a judge released him. Releasing a person who forcibly confines, sexually assaults,

00:19:02.460 traffics, and drugs children is completely indefensible. It's nowhere near the standards

00:19:07.980 and values which built this country. Honestly, I have a difficult time recognizing Canada anymore. I think we

00:19:13.980 all agree with that. I think that's something that almost every Canadian that I talk to echoes this.

00:19:19.820 This does not feel like our country anymore. What has happened? Continue reading from Paul Brandt. He

00:19:24.860 says, we used to be known for standing up for those who couldn't. Now we release child traffickers,

00:19:31.340 child rapists, child sexual abuse material producers, and users back into the community. It's madness, 0.99

00:19:37.500 complete and total moral and societal decay. 50-year-old Attea was forcibly confining and offending

00:19:43.260 against three children. The 14-year-old was found inside in medical distress,

00:19:48.060 transported to the hospital, reported being forcibly confined for three days,

00:19:52.540 during which she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by Attea and other men, other men involved in this,

00:19:59.260 while being forced to consume drugs. Attea was released on bail after being charged with human

00:20:04.300 trafficking, human trafficking with a person under 18, sexual assault of a child under 16, sexual

00:20:09.020 interference, obtaining sexual services of a child for consideration, indecent exposure to a child

00:20:14.860 under 16, sexual exploitation or counsel of a child, and three counts of unlawful confinement. He has

00:20:22.060 such little regard for authority and the law that Attea was re-arrested for breaking his conditions

00:20:28.140 approximately half an hour after his release. Apparently he was released, he went right to the local

00:20:34.300 drug store, went to the perfume aisle, and what did he do? He started talking up some young teenager,

00:20:39.740 again, doing his thing, fortunately the police were watching him, and they arrested him again.

00:20:43.740 But this is totally insane, folks. These are the kinds of people that need to be locked away and

00:20:49.420 throw away the key. Mark Carney has to get serious about cleaning up our country if he wants to have any

00:20:55.180 chance of turning our country around. Our country is not in good shape, folks. We need to talk about it.

00:21:01.100 We need to address it. We need to be forceful. We need to be passionate. We need to stand up

00:21:04.700 for our Canada, or we risk losing it forever. Canada needs serious change, or we will have an
