00:00:40.460 Now that reporting from Bloomberg came a day after Mark Miller said in a press conference
00:00:45.240 that gang members and others with serious criminal backgrounds have entered this country on student
00:00:52.280 visas. Surprise, surprise. Who knew that was happening? The Canadian government is also
00:00:58.020 deporting migrants at its highest rate in more than a decade, much to the disappointment of open
00:01:02.940 border activists and Toronto Star journalists. It's all very strange because you would think
00:01:08.560 that the rhetoric of telling international students to go back home after receiving an
00:01:13.260 education would be coming from the conservative opposition leader and not the open borders liberal
00:01:19.680 government. What appears to be happening is that the current government slumping in the polls and
00:01:24.480 desperate for any boost of approval are reacting to a major public shift in perception on immigration.

00:02:00.700 Canadians what most of us already knew, that many of the people entering our country as international
00:02:06.520 students aren't exactly young future leaders, the cream of the crop. Some, in fact, happen to be gang members.
00:02:14.500 Well-determined actors, regardless of the country, and particularly sophisticated gangs are often able
00:02:21.580 to get around even the most stringent immigration requirements. And Canada has some of the robust,
00:02:27.580 the most robust requirements in the world when we are checking people, but it's not perfect.
00:02:33.040 There is a multifaceted way that we employ and that our enforcement agencies employ to track people,
00:02:38.820 but regrettably, at times, people do get in and they do commit crimes. So well-determined actors do have an
00:02:46.220 ability, despite best efforts, to get in. As reported by TrueNorth, in a press conference with ethnic media
00:02:52.640 outlets on Monday, Miller was asked how criminals from India can slip through the vetting process and come to
00:02:58.240 Canada. Miller admitted that gang members are coming into the country, implying that it was inevitable when dealing with
00:03:03.800 sophisticated criminal organizations. While Miller did not specifically name India, he said that the
00:03:09.840 Canadian government often admits immigrants from countries whose governments are unreliable, allowing
00:03:14.580 gang members to slip in with phony police background checks. You might be thinking to yourself at this
00:03:19.840 point that one easy solution to this problem would be to stop taking in so many immigrants from India.
00:03:25.740 But something just tells me, and I'm not quite sure what it is, that that solution is off the table for this
00:03:31.540 liberal government. Maybe, also, just maybe, the reason why known gang members and other people with
00:03:38.680 criminal backgrounds are able to enter the country on student visas is because international students
00:03:45.280 are not required to go through criminal background checks. Mark Miller, in May, lied about that when
00:03:53.580 asked in a press conference. Generally speaking, if someone were on a student visa, would there be criminal record
00:03:59.560 checks? Yes. There would be? Yeah. And then, how does that process work? You check them, and if they have a
00:04:05.100 criminal record, they don't come in. You know, it seems pretty easy to slip through the criminal background
00:04:09.620 check process if you're not actually being checked. And consider this for a moment. Mark Miller and his
00:04:16.080 predecessor, Sean Fraser, oversaw the expansion of the international student program to, at one point, have over a
00:04:24.200 million active student visas in this country. It appears that many of them were involved in these
00:04:29.900 sham colleges, these diploma mill colleges. And during that time, when nobody, no reporter, was asking
00:04:37.400 questions about the backgrounds of these international students, these bright scholars that we were entering
00:04:43.660 into our country, nobody bothered to inquire about who these people really are, about whether or not they
00:04:49.600 happen to be gang members, whether or not they have long rap sheets. How many of these gang members
00:04:55.220 have we actually allowed into this country? The program has been allowed to continue knowing that
00:05:00.680 this was an issue for years. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people have entered Canada on
00:05:07.460 student visas. And only now, only now is it starting to become an issue. Because when Canadians weren't
00:05:13.920 aware of just how bad the situation was, they didn't seem to care. They didn't seem to be
00:05:19.260 concerned about any of this. It was easy money for large employers, easy money for colleges. It
00:05:25.900 artificially boosted the GDP. But at what cost? And it was just a day after Mark Miller said in a press
00:05:32.620 conference that gang members and criminals have entered Canada on student visas and slipped through the
00:05:38.700 criminal background checks, which in many cases don't even appear to be happening, that Miller told Bloomberg
00:05:44.460 news that international students, as he says, should perhaps go home and bring those skills back to their
00:05:53.340 country. Better late than never, I suppose. But still, it's quite late to be telling them this now. Now that
00:05:59.740 they're all protesting in the streets, demanding permanent residency and work permit extensions and are
00:06:05.380 getting increasingly more angry by the day. What a great formula in this country. Potentially dangerous
00:06:12.380 international students who are very angry at the Canadian government, and perhaps the Canadian
00:06:17.580 people. And they are now making demands of this government. What could possibly go wrong? As Miller
00:06:23.500 says in this Bloomberg article, no one was promised permanent residency who came to this country as an
00:06:29.020 international student. In fact, what Miller doesn't say in this article, and what many Canadians may not be
00:06:33.980 aware of, is that in order to receive your student visa, you have to have an interview with an immigration
00:06:39.500 official. In that interview, you were asked point blank, if you intend to go back home when your
00:06:46.700 student visa expires. If you say no, and you plan to stay, well, guess what? You're not getting your
00:06:52.460 student visa. So all of these students who are now in this country protesting and demanding to be given
00:06:59.180 permanent residency without meeting any of the requirements that would actually make them eligible for
00:07:04.940 permanent residency. They all told a Canadian border official that they would go home after their
00:07:11.100 permit expired. So they all lied. I am very, very sneaky, sir. Someone in their admissions process at
00:07:18.060 some point told them that they were going to be given permanent residency, whether it was an immigration
00:07:22.940 consultant in Canada, whether it was an education agent in India or whatever other country they came from,
00:07:29.500 or it was the university or college that they attended. And where do you think all of those
00:07:34.300 people got their messaging from? Might it be perhaps from the government itself, since the government went
00:07:39.980 on a spree of giving permanent residency to basically anyone for a few years after the pandemic? Mark Miller and
00:07:46.700 Sean Fraser, as immigration ministers, have brought upon this country incalculable levels of damage.
00:07:52.300 Under Justin Trudeau's leadership, they have changed Canada forever. They have demographically changed
00:07:59.820 Canada forever. They have economically changed Canada forever. Our population has never grown this
00:08:06.940 fast. There was no mandate for this from the public. Trudeau didn't tell us that he was going to
00:08:12.140 do this explicitly. It was just done to us and we've been told to accept it. Quietly and behind the scenes,
00:08:18.620 I might add, the Justin Trudeau government has actually increased the number of deportations they
00:08:25.100 have conducted and it's now at the highest rate the federal government has seen in the last decade.
00:08:31.500 Last year, the federal government deported over 29,000 migrants. That sounds like a pretty decent
00:08:37.740 number if you're in favor of kicking illegals out of the country, which I think many people are,
00:08:43.260 until you realize that there are in fact over 500,000 undocumented people living in Canada.
00:08:49.420 So there's a long way to go. And it's not as if that number is slowing down anytime soon
00:08:55.180 with our record levels of population growth. Migrant activists, open border activists as I call them,
00:09:01.340 and the Toronto Star are very upset. They feel like a promise has been broken because Justin Trudeau
00:09:08.940 made a campaign promise to regularize illegals. To put illegals on a pathway to citizenship
00:09:16.460 in Canada. Nothing like rewarding those who break the law. As reported by the Toronto Star,
00:09:22.300 who just can't seem to hide their disdain, Canada has spent more than 115 million dollars
00:09:28.220 deporting nearly 29,000 migrants since 2022. An unprecedented rate that flies in the face
00:09:34.700 of the federal government's promise to regularize the status of undocumented workers, advocates say.
00:09:40.620 In 2023, Ottawa spent more than 62 million dollars on deportations, the highest amount spent in a year
00:09:47.100 in over a decade. With the headline, shocking and unjustifiable, Canada is deporting migrants at its
00:09:54.140 highest rate in more than a decade. And this all goes back to the comment that I made at the beginning
00:09:59.020 of the show. Which is why the conservative leader isn't the one telling these students to go back home.
00:10:05.820 Why the conservative leader isn't saying that it's time to deport the 500,000 illegals living in Canada,
00:10:13.260 working under the table, bringing down wages, causing economic problems in our country. The only
00:10:19.260 justification I can think of is that he just doesn't want to be attacked as a racist. He doesn't
00:10:24.300 want to be seen as a as a xenophobe or perhaps he's not a big believer in deportations. He's not a big
00:10:31.980 believer in deporting those that really ought to go. In fact, in 2022, when a large number of
00:10:38.220 international students were protesting around Toronto with fake acceptance letters, fake letters to these
00:10:46.460 sham colleges, Paulie have shut up to their protest and tried to rally support. And as he says,
00:10:53.340 stop the deportations. Stop the deportations. We need 700 young people driving truck. But I guess
00:11:00.940 we're all just going to have to see what happens because the Justin Trudeau government seems dead in
