00:00:00.000 well the most surprising news came across our desks over the weekend so surprising and shocking
00:00:11.320 that we felt we just had to address it on ratioed on monday there were audible gasps in the newsroom
00:00:17.300 when we read this story but we did think to ourselves uh maybe the legacy media are back
00:00:21.280 to their old tricks you know not telling the truth and lying to us because we read this article
00:00:25.980 in the toronto star of all places that said justin trudeau in a recent poll was voted as the
00:00:32.680 worst prime minister in the last 55 years by canadians the worst prime minister i know that
00:00:39.820 doesn't make any sense because as you drive throughout your town you see all those bumper
00:00:43.320 stickers that people say they they love justin trudeau we love justin trudeau the bumper stickers
00:00:48.380 read or the flags outside of people's homes that say go trudeau go or you even seen maybe the footage
00:00:54.300 from the indigenous games or maybe you've seen the footage from belleville ontario recently
00:01:07.660 or how about that footage from the calgary stampede last year where he was mobbed by his admirers
00:01:13.580 so you read the news that justin trudeau was voted by canadians as the worst prime minister well that
00:01:25.420 doesn't make any sense now does it how could that possibly be drop a like in the video help us out by
00:01:31.180 subscribing to the true north youtube channel the comment question for the episode is this can you name
00:01:37.340 one good thing justin trudeau has done since becoming prime minister let me know in the comments
00:01:44.380 if you can and let's get into it take a look at this article from the toronto star over the weekend
00:01:50.540 justin trudeau is canada's least liked prime minister in 55 years a new opinion survey finds
00:01:57.820 i wonder why articles like this are starting to come out you might think maybe the legacy media are
00:02:03.260 turning on the man that writes their checks interesting to say the least justin trudeau has
00:02:09.340 been voted canada's worst prime minister in the past 55 years by 3 out of 10 respondents in a new
00:02:16.380 public opinion survey from research co 3 out of 10 canadians a 30 percent think that justin trudeau is
00:02:23.180 the worst prime minister in recent history that's almost identical to the share of the popular vote that
00:02:29.580 trudeau got in the last election 32 percent trudeau happens to hold the title of being the prime
00:02:35.340 minister with the slimmest overall share of electoral support in canadian history and now he also gets to
00:02:42.540 hold the title for being the most disliked prime minister in canadian history i mean if ever there was
00:02:47.820 a way to determine how you're doing on the job this might be it you know being the most disliked by the
00:02:53.820 people that supposedly elected you three times but also holding the title for the slimmest share of
00:03:00.300 votes not the best position to be in if you happen to be the leader of a country but who's getting who
00:03:05.260 justin trudeau didn't need to read the toronto star article about him being the least liked prime
00:03:10.300 minister in canadian history to know how much canadians actually dislike him all he has to do is just
00:03:16.140 show up anywhere actually you see last week when he was in belleville ontario he got run out of town
00:03:22.380 by his own people his own people heckled him so badly that trudeau had to cut his visit short and
00:03:30.380 hightail it out of belleville take a look at this footage from last week if you haven't seen it
00:03:35.260 already all of the viral footage of justin trudeau getting brutally heckled has become such a problem
00:03:40.940 for the legacy media journalists you know the ones that are basically paid by justin trudeau to
00:03:45.180 propagandize on his behalf that they now have gone on to just attack the protesters and say that they're
00:03:51.980 unhinged the people have lost their minds there's no excuse for yelling at the prime minister who
00:03:58.220 has basically ruined their lives it's interesting because the legacy media journalists never once
00:04:03.820 seem to be interested in laying blame at all of this national anger at the man causing the national 0.71
00:04:09.660 anger it's always the people that are angry that have to be accused of being crazy and lunatics and
00:04:15.260 you know out of their minds you know these legacy media journalists are likely not the ones who are
00:04:21.020 out on the street are lining up at food banks lost their jobs because they refuse to take a shot they
00:04:27.260 never face the actual problems that the majority of canadians everyday canadians face and yet whenever
00:04:33.980 this footage comes out of these canadians letting the leader that runs them have a piece of their mind
00:04:39.500 it's always the protesters that need to be somehow put in their place even worse for the justin trudeau brand
00:04:46.220 a week before that belleville disaster trudeau gave a speech to kick off the indigenous summer games
00:04:52.780 and take a listen to how the crowd welcomed him on stage
00:05:06.540 sure trudeau snubbed the indigenous communities on truth and reconciliation day to go surfing in tofino
00:05:12.380 and you know he also responded to an indigenous protester at a liberal fundraiser by saying thank
00:05:17.820 you for your donation you know he's not maybe the most liked person in the indigenous circles but
00:05:34.380 he really has tried to become the truth and reconciliation man you know kneeling beside that
00:05:39.900 grave with his teddy bear plunging the country into a national state of mourning for six months
00:05:44.620 accusing the very country that he leads of being genocidal even after all of that woke posturing
00:05:50.780 and display of national self-loathing trudeau just can't seem to catch a break with the indigenous
00:05:56.220 community you've all seen the footage of justin trudeau getting heckled wherever he goes in this
00:06:00.860 country he can't go anywhere actually without facing the anger of the people you know the anger that
00:06:05.980 he caused on these people but perhaps the most viral clip of justin trudeau being swarmed by
00:06:12.700 protesters happened back at the beginning of 2023 when he took his cabinet for a retreat to sunny
00:06:19.580 hamilton during late january i was on the ground to capture the exact moment when justin trudeau
00:06:26.300 decided to walk through a crowd of protesters almost intentionally and attracted the anger of the
00:06:32.700 people take a look at this
00:06:54.300 you know the good thing for justin trudeau and all of this is that none of this should really
00:06:58.540 come as a shock to him you see he was able to get a front row seat with his father pierre trudeau
00:07:04.060 when he would roll through rural areas in canada and get the exact same treatment what's the old
00:07:10.220 saying like father like son take a look at this 1982 cbc clip you know back when cbc was a real news
00:07:18.380 outlet you see on one of these cross-country train vacations that pierre trudeau took he brought along
00:07:24.620 with him a young justin trudeau and as the train was rolling through sudbury ontario protesters greeted
00:07:30.940 pierre trudeau's train by throwing eggs and tomatoes at the train car take a look at this cbc clip
00:07:37.580 the egg spattered train carrying vacationing prime minister trudeau has been dubbed the caesar salad
00:07:43.500 express but nothing could have prepared the prime minister for the greetings he got in northern ontario
00:07:48.860 in chaplow it was a warm welcome baskets of eggs and bouquets of flowers but in sudbury it was back
00:07:55.260 to making salads it was the largest and probably the most unfriendly crowd on trudeau's trip
00:08:00.700 hundreds of angry people hurled insults tomatoes and eggs at the private car carrying trudeau and his
00:08:06.060 three sons when the tomatoes and eggs ran out they started throwing rock for many trudeau's visit was a
00:08:12.380 chance to vent their anger over the economy bizarrely the same poll that found justin trudeau to be the
00:08:18.300 worst prime minister in 55 years the most disliked prime minister also happens to put pierre trudeau
00:08:24.780 as the most liked prime minister the best prime minister in the past 55 years unbelievable i know
00:08:30.700 20 of respondents put pierre trudeau as their favorite prime minister whereas 30 of respondents
00:08:37.100 put justin trudeau as the worst prime minister also in a weird way stephen harper happens to be the
00:08:43.660 second worst and second best in this poll the ranking for worst prime ministers goes as follows
00:08:51.020 justin trudeau at 30 percent stephen harper at 80 percent kim campbell who basically spent as much
00:08:57.260 time as prime minister of canada as liz truss spent as prime minister of the uk comes in at third place
00:09:03.420 with seven percent of the vote as the worst prime minister then it goes to brian malroney pierre trudeau
00:09:09.740 john chrétien joe clark paul martin and john turner look if you're the conservative party of
00:09:14.940 canada and you're pierre paulie if you have to be looking at the next election as a make or break
00:09:19.420 moment if you can't defeat the most disliked prime minister in 55 years who also happens to hold the
00:09:26.140 slimmest share of electoral support in canadian history well then what are you even doing the fact
00:09:31.900 of the matter is this according to 338 polling the likelihood of the conservatives reaching 170
00:09:38.460 seats enough seats to guarantee a majority in the house of commons is at 10 percent the likelihood of
00:09:44.860 the conservatives and the bloc forming a coalition and reaching the 170 seat mark is at 52 percent
00:09:51.980 whereas the liberals in bloc reaching a coalition deal is at 43 percent do we really think that the
00:09:58.060 conservatives are going to use the bloc a group of anti-canadian separatists to help them get over
00:10:02.620 the line and form a coalition and if so are canadians even prepared to do that the reality is the
00:10:08.060 conservatives should be much higher than they are right now and they're just not either way no
00:10:12.540 matter what anyone says no one can convince me that watching justin trudeau get heckled is anything
00:10:19.020 other than fantastic entertainment all right everyone thank you so much for watching
00:10:29.500 my name is harrison faulkner and this is ratio
