00:00:00.960 Hi, I'm Candace Malcolm and this is the Candace Malcolm News Update.
00:00:05.280 Today is Monday, March 9th, 2026, and these are your top stories of the day.
00:00:09.540 We saw three layers of the gunshots that went through that could have had a devastating impact on individuals that could have killed people.
00:00:20.760 It's very clear this was targeted at a synagogue. It's very clear.
00:00:24.060 Okay, well I'm glad you corrected your deputy.
00:00:25.620 very clear about the anti-Semitic nature and the hateful nature of the of this act this should be
00:00:32.800 a Canadian vessel carrying a quarter billion dollars of Canadian energy instead these are
00:00:41.020 Scandinavian vessels carrying American energy how did we get here he's been out of prison for three
00:00:46.380 years and is fighting to stay in Canada but time is running out folks we have a great show we're
00:00:52.260 going to talk about the latest in Operation Epic Fury and those huge rallies all over big cities
00:00:57.540 in Canada over the weekend. We're going to talk about more synagogues being targeted in Toronto.
00:01:02.240 Not good when your Jewish community is living in fear and their places of worship are getting
00:01:08.320 shot up on a regular basis. I'm going to talk about Pierre Polyev's latest video. And at the
00:01:12.860 end of the show, I'm going to talk to you about the unbelievable coverage of the man who caused
00:01:18.240 the attack in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, and how the media is treating him with kid gloves,
00:01:23.940 treating him with sympathy, and like he's a victim. It's unbelievable. And I talk about why
00:01:27.700 I think he needs to go. He needs to be deported. Today's episode is brought to us by Silver Gold
00:01:33.120 Bull, but more on them a little later. Okay, so hundreds of thousands of people showed up
00:01:38.540 over the weekend in major cities across Canada. I'm talking about Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
00:01:43.280 hundreds of thousands of people showed up to show their support to President Donald Trump
00:01:48.480 and his Operation Epic Fury to take out the Iranian regime. It was really unbelievable.
00:01:54.760 You see the images on your screen right now of these pro-freedom Iranians thanking the president,
00:02:01.700 protesting the regime, calling for regime change, and hopefully taking their country back. They
00:02:06.960 want their country back and they can't protest in the Middle East. This is sort of like the
00:02:10.940 government in waiting. These are the people who want a liberal democracy in Iran. They want to
00:02:15.320 rebuild their country and they're showing up in Canada to show that support. So here is what that
00:02:19.780 looked like. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. USA. Thank you. USA. Thank you. USA. Thank you.
00:02:40.940 And in just the latest confusion added to this story is our prime minister.
00:03:00.680 He was in Tokyo over the weekend.
00:03:02.520 This guy's never in Canada, by the way.
00:03:03.980 He's just like on a world tour all over the world, never in Canada,
00:03:06.720 always speaking to a foreign audience.
00:03:09.200 But now he's in Tokyo, and he's speaking to reporters.
00:03:12.280 Again, he hasn't had a clear message about this.
00:03:14.900 And I won't say this is another flip-flop, but it is sort of like another layer of confusion.
00:03:18.820 We covered this a lot on the show last week about how he's been flipping and flopping, supporting, not supporting.
00:03:23.440 The last we heard from him was in Australia, where he was saying that he's not going to rule out getting involved in Canada,
00:03:29.660 actually getting involved in this Operation Epic Fury.
00:03:32.740 Well, now he's saying that we weren't even invited.
00:03:34.900 We were iced out.
00:03:35.780 We're not part of the military operation.
00:03:37.020 We have been asked to be part of the military operation.
00:03:39.120 Here is the latest from Prime Minister Flip-Flopper Mark Carney.
00:03:42.900 The first thing is that we have not received any request for such assistance.
00:03:50.060 We, first point.
00:03:52.000 Second point, as you know, in this conflict, we were not consulted before it began.
00:03:58.080 We're not engaged in the conflict.
00:04:00.240 We do not intend to engage.
00:04:01.700 What we are doing, where we are engaged, is dealing with the consequences of the conflict.
00:04:07.020 consequences that continue to spread in the region and to some extent beyond into the Indo-Pacific
00:04:13.640 region, obviously with the naval incident, to put it mildly, in the last 36 hours.
00:04:22.360 So dealing with those consequences very much goes first and foremost to the Canadians in
00:04:26.520 the region, protecting the Canadians. If the Canadians wish to leave the region, assistance
00:04:32.100 with that. I can answer in more detail on that if that's your interest. So we have not yet received
00:04:38.000 any requests. I don't necessarily anticipate those requests. We're in very close dialogue.
00:04:44.800 I'm in dialogue with a number of leaders in the region who are partners, obviously Minister of
00:04:48.880 Foreign Affairs and others. And any decision would obviously be taken by the government,
00:04:56.000 not by the armed forces. And again, why is he never in Canada? Why is he always overseas? Okay,
00:05:01.260 let's bring it back home and talk about what happened in Toronto over the weekend. More
00:05:05.160 synagogues have been shot up. This is unbelievable. This is not good. When you let in mass migration
00:05:11.420 from places in the world that have no tolerance for Jews, that hate Jews and blame them for
00:05:15.880 everything, eventually this is what's going to happen. The police forces and our political
00:05:20.300 leaders just look totally incapable of dealing with this very scary issue. So multiple MPs,
00:05:26.940 government officials, showed up at the Sherry Shamamin Synagogue on Sunday. Toronto Police
00:05:33.480 Chief Myron Demku notes that this is the third shooting of a synagogue in the last five days
00:05:38.880 in the GTA, and one of many times the Jewish community has been shot at since October 7th,
00:05:46.120 basically, when the Jew hatred just spilled out into the open and Jews started being targeted
00:05:50.620 in our own city. So here is our feckless police chief explaining and our feckless
00:05:57.020 public safety minister just sort of like explaining the problem. They're not doing
00:06:01.700 anything about it, but at least they're acknowledging the problem here.
00:06:04.720 Canada is at a crossroads. With synagogues being shot at throughout the GTA, we have a choice to
00:06:13.100 make, a clear choice to make about whether we are going to be a city, a province, and a country
00:06:17.560 that buries our head in the sand and tolerates this kind of intimidation,
00:06:23.400 this kind of terror in our communities,
00:06:26.260 or whether we will unite to stand against it and push back.
00:06:31.580 And we saw three layers of the gunshots that went through
00:06:36.380 that could have had a devastating impact on individuals
00:06:40.020 that could have killed people at a place of worship.
00:06:44.500 it. I condemn this in the strongest possible terms. This is unacceptable. This is the third
00:06:51.740 synagogue within the last week to be targeted.
00:06:55.360 An attack on one of our communities is an attack on all of us. This synagogue, as we
00:07:03.620 know, was shot at this weekend. And we've seen other similar firearms discharges targeting
00:07:10.680 the Jewish community recently and in the past years. This is completely appalling, and we are
00:07:18.880 treating this with the utmost seriousness. Now, the best part of this press conference wasn't the
00:07:25.420 police chief and the public safety minister saying all the things you expect him to say.
00:07:29.040 It was that independent journalist, our friend Ezra Levant, showed up at this press conference.
00:07:33.060 This is happening in his neighborhood, and he had had enough of it. He notes that it was an outdoor
00:07:37.000 press conference so no one could really stop him from going up and asking good questions. This is
00:07:41.200 why we need independent media in this country, because Ezra pushed through and asked the good
00:07:45.740 question, forced the police chief to actually say this, what it is. Apparently, earlier in the press
00:07:50.100 conference, they compared it to like a random act of violence on the subway and said it's similar.
00:07:54.380 And Ezra's like, well, wait a minute. Was this a random act or was this targeted against Jews in
00:07:59.100 our city? And the police chief had to admit, yes, yes, it was targeted. Of course it was targeted.
00:08:04.100 Here is what that exchange looked like.
00:08:05.580 you didn't answer my question i'm asking if this was a targeted anti-semitic attack or as your new
00:08:11.340 deputy says a random act of violence why won't you answer that no i think it's very clear this
00:08:16.540 was targeted at a synagogue it's very clear okay well i'm glad you corrected your deputy very clear
00:08:21.100 about the anti-semitic nature and the hateful nature of the of this act and we will not stand
00:08:26.860 for it and we will not tolerate and then this this this really steals the cake this this is like
00:08:32.060 you know just toronto to a t right so ezra levant points out that while he was at this press
00:08:37.420 conference i kid you not the toronto star right the toronto's fancy newspaper the reporter was
00:08:43.340 asking about islamophobia because that's that's the real threat here right that's the real threat
00:08:47.900 is uh okay yeah someone's shooting up jewish synagogues uh probably radical muslims uh but
00:08:53.260 the real threat is have there been any any incidents that target and threaten muslims
00:08:58.940 because that's always the real question so yes this is like the norm mcdonald tweet right the
00:09:02.620 norm mcdonald tweet uh that always goes viral uh him basically say you know uh the thing i really
00:09:07.900 worry about the thing keeps me up at night is if muslims detonate a bomb and kill millions of
00:09:12.300 americans um just imagine the islamophobia imagine the reaction right and this this like lives out
00:09:17.660 every day in our country uh but anyway here is ezra levant um exposing the journalists for their
00:09:24.620 insane uh narrative and line of questioning let's play that clip but i was standing next to a
00:09:28.780 reporter from the toronto star and i didn't catch his name i'll try and look it up so we've just
00:09:34.060 had three synagogues in five days being shot terrorist style it's it's a five alarm fire
00:09:39.980 and i swear to god this toronto star reporter he asks if the police are worried about a rise in
00:09:46.220 islamophobia just wondering if there's been an uptick in um attacks against the missing community
00:09:53.980 I heard from the National Council of Canadian Muslims that there has been a message that's going to confirm with you.
00:10:00.320 You couldn't script a more woke Toronto Star question.
00:10:05.620 You're at a press conference, at a synagogue with bullet holes in the window.
00:10:10.960 Third synagogue attack in five days and the Toronto Star, hey man, what are we doing about all this Islamophobia?
00:10:17.440 Yeah, that's the Toronto Star for you.
00:10:18.920 now several police services have stated that they will be increasing their presence around
00:10:25.360 religious community centers uh protecting jews uh not a good sign folks not a good sign for your
00:10:30.600 country when jews are targeted this way it's really appalling inflation a stagnant economy

00:11:58.920 Okay, let's move on. I want to talk about Pierre Polyev. I've been talking about how he's really
00:12:01.900 been hitting his stride lately. I think him going to the UK, he looked very statesman-like. He seems
00:12:06.440 to have a more positive attitude. He seems to kind of have a softer image than what we saw of him
00:12:10.880 last year. I think it's going really well, especially compared to Mark Kearney, who,
00:12:15.360 as I've noted, just looks very weak as of late, really unsure of himself. Maybe it's all that
00:12:19.640 international travel. He was in India, then he was in Australia. Now he's in Tokyo, never at home,
00:12:24.280 always traveling. But anyway, here is Pierre Polyev. He is saying that the war in Iran has
00:12:28.360 left Canada's allies scrambling for energy. Well, guess who has energy? Guess who has oil?
00:12:33.200 guess who should be fueling the world with our own production plan? That is what Pierre Polyev
00:12:38.420 is picking up on now. He published a video from Germany outlining why Canada should be the one
00:12:44.440 supplying Europe with energy. This is obvious. This is what we were saying back when the Ukraine
00:12:49.780 Russia war broke out. And it's like, you know, Europe is actually getting its oil supply from
00:12:54.500 Russia. So we're fueling that war. And that's not what anyone wants. It's the same thing here.
00:12:59.320 Canada should be the one fueling Europe with oil. It shouldn't be Iran. It shouldn't be Russia. It
00:13:03.180 should be Canada. You're probably making that point very nicely in this video clip.
00:13:07.540 This should be a Canadian vessel carrying a quarter billion dollars of Canadian energy.
00:13:15.720 Instead, these are Scandinavian vessels carrying American energy. How did we get here? First of all,
00:13:21.800 I'm in North Germany, in Williamshavn, which is a major import hub for all of the European
00:13:30.100 continent. In February of 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, which woke the Europeans up that they
00:13:37.880 could no longer depend on the Russians to supply them with gas. They needed to move quickly. So
00:13:43.780 within two months, the locality here granted a permit. That's right, 60 days. The permit was
00:13:49.800 granted on a Sunday and a day off because that is how urgent it was. They then, in a total of a
00:13:57.540 couple of more months converted this existing jetty so that it could accept large quantities
00:14:03.700 of natural gas which run from that ship through this pipe and then all the way as you can see
00:14:12.360 over there back to the coast where it is quality control checked and then put into the energy
00:14:19.400 network and sent all across Germany and throughout the rest of Europe where that energy then heats
00:14:27.280 homes, powers industry. It's used to make other petrochemical products that are necessary for
00:14:33.860 a modern economy. In the process, though, they are now buying American and Qatari gas instead of
00:14:41.120 Canadian gas. Why? Because we can't get out of our own way. And Alberta Premier Danielle Smith
00:14:48.460 responded to the video saying this, the best time to build a pipeline was 10 years ago. The next
00:14:53.460 best time is now we must build new pipelines west east north and south without delay without
00:14:57.740 hesitation to supply asia and european markets with safe reliable responsibly produced energy
00:15:01.980 products i would say the best time to build more pipelines was like 20 years ago right we always
00:15:05.500 blame justin trudeau and say oh he didn't build pipelines well guess what harper didn't do enough
00:15:09.240 either and really we should have been doing this a long time ago i completely agree with danielle
00:15:13.880 smith that we should have done it we didn't the best next best alternative is to just do it right
00:15:18.560 now which is absolutely right okay folks i want to talk about this unbelievable media coverage
00:15:23.180 that we have seen about this individual named Jaskarit Singh Sandhu.
00:15:28.220 He is the man responsible for the Humboldt Broncos national tragedy.
00:15:33.460 This was one of the most horrific news stories that I can remember happening in Canada.
00:15:37.220 Just absolutely gut-wrenching, unconscionable, horrific thing to have happened.
00:15:40.980 Back in 2018, he blew through a stop sign.
00:15:44.060 He hit a junior hockey team's bus and killed 16 players and coaches.
00:15:49.400 unbelievably sad, sick story, injured 13 others. Well, he's back in the news and now he is being
00:15:56.500 recasted as the victim of this whole thing. The way that the media cover this individual makes
00:16:01.600 me just absolutely sick. The interview here that they do with him and his family, giving him
00:16:06.780 sympathy, making him seem like he's the real victim of the story and him himself. I mean,
00:16:11.040 I have no time for him. I don't even like playing his voice in his face on the show because I don't
00:16:15.940 think that we should be lionizing him in any way, shape or form. But just look at this man. Look at
00:16:20.560 how self-absorbed he is. Look at how the focus is on himself and his family and his life and how
00:16:26.740 it's impacted him. I'm sorry, I don't care. I don't care about this individual. I think he has to get
00:16:32.700 out of our country. So he drove through an oversized stop sign on a rural road. There was a huge stop
00:16:38.180 sign with a flashing light. He blew right through it. He hit the bus. He killed the players.
00:16:42.800 unbelievable here's why CBC covers it note how he talks about it he says he says that he keeps him
00:16:48.540 up at night and he's haunted what keeps him up at night what is he haunted about not about the
00:16:51.780 children that he killed the boys the hockey players no that's not what keeps him up at night
00:16:55.340 what keeps him up at night is the fact that he might be deported back to India yeah and then
00:16:59.240 they interview his wife saying it haunts me I can't even imagine what haunts her what can't
00:17:03.680 she even imagine all those boys all those families who have lost their son no what haunts her is the
00:17:08.880 that her husband might have to go back to India this is just sickening watch the way the cbc covers
00:17:13.600 this in 2018 16 players coaches and staff were killed 13 others were injured when a semi truck
00:17:20.960 blew through a stop sign right into the path of the saskatchewan junior hockey team's bus
00:17:26.400 i've interviewed just gear it sings to do before by zoom from prison but i'm here to meet him and
00:17:32.320 his wife in person as he faces deportation just haunts me nobody wants to be separated from their
00:17:38.400 family you know it's a nightmare and we can't even imagine like the life without him like they're
00:17:44.320 trying to paint him with sympathy but they can't even do it right you know it's like if you want
00:17:49.200 to have sympathy from the canadian public show your remorse apologize to the country over and
00:17:54.240 over and over i'm so sorry for what i did i can't believe it it keeps me up at night picturing those
00:17:58.560 boys those faces those beautiful children that were taken from our country that's what keeps you
00:18:02.480 up at night right talking about oh i might i might get deported oh i might have to go back to india
00:18:06.800 where I'm from. You know what? There's no, there's no law stating that your wife and kids can't go
00:18:11.000 with you. You know, if you're going to get deported back to India and you can't imagine
00:18:14.400 how horrible it would be to live without your wife and children, guess what? They can go with
00:18:18.420 you. They'll do just fine in India. They're Indian. They can go back to India. You can all
00:18:22.180 go back to India. Okay. Go live your life. I don't care. You paid your debt to society. Fine. You
00:18:27.020 could be free, but don't be free in my country. Go back to India. Your whole family can go back
00:18:31.000 to India. The interview continues with Sadhu's wife saying that she will stay in Canada. He'll
00:18:36.700 get deported and that he has post-traumatic stress disorder from what he did, what he did,
00:18:43.580 and she worries that he'll be alone in India. Guess what? He doesn't have to be alone in India.
00:18:47.220 You can all go. You can all go back. Let's play this clip.
00:18:50.400 Just kids is going through depression and PTSD, and he goes to his therapy sessions weekly.
00:18:57.500 I'm really scared to leave him alone in India because he don't have anybody there.
00:19:02.240 He has older parents.
00:19:03.900 Now, thankfully, his deportation is underway. And that is why he's getting all this media attention. The CBC is paying him as a victim. They want to encourage the government to let him stay. It's not just the CBC. It is also the Globe and Mail. They published an op-ed a couple of years ago saying deporting pseudos lessens us as a country, that we Canadians need to show how great we are by letting an individual like this stay. It's not just the Globe and Mail, folks. The Globe and Mail has become just absolutely terrible and awful.
00:19:31.060 But the National Post, the allegedly conservative national newspaper, has also been publishing op-eds saying that this guy should stay.
00:19:38.360 So back in 2021, we saw an individual called Parker Donham writing that deporting a Humboldt truck driver would be vengeance and not justice,
00:19:47.460 and that it wouldn't make us better as a country, that he is better off in Canada, and Canada is better with him here.
00:19:53.600 okay, well, as recently as just last week, John Manley also writing the National Post,
00:19:58.120 the man responsible for the Humboldt Broncos crash paid his debt to society and he should not
00:20:02.920 be deported. Guess what? It's not vengeance. It actually is justice because if you commit
00:20:07.780 a crime, you become inadmissible to Canada. He is not a Canadian citizen. He was a permanent
00:20:12.440 resident when he crashed and killed 16 people. And guess what? He pled guilty to dangerous driving,
00:20:20.440 causing death and bodily harm he was sentenced to eight years in prison that makes him inadmissible
00:20:25.700 following our immigration law following the law as it is written will mean that this person cannot
00:20:31.440 become a canadian citizen that he will be deported this is what we have to do we have to start
00:20:35.820 implementing our laws as they are on the books it's not controversial it is not it's not nothing
00:20:42.100 to do with vengeance it's just the law as as is written if anything we would be making a special
00:20:46.860 exception to allow this individual to stay because he's in the media, because he's in the
00:20:51.840 news, because the elites have like sympathy for him. This is everything wrong with Canada, by the
00:20:56.200 way, is that our elites have sympathy, toxic empathy, suicidal empathy, as Professor Gadsad
00:21:01.480 would say, for the wrong people, right? Instead of having sympathy and empathy for the families
00:21:06.960 of those boys who were killed and there was one young lady killed as well, how about we have
00:21:11.600 sympathy for them? How about we have love and support for the victims, the true victims who
00:21:15.360 are living a painful life without their loved ones. Instead, we're supposed to feel bad for
00:21:19.920 this Indian man and his family. I don't feel bad for him at all. I want him to go. And even buried
00:21:24.360 in the CBC story, the CBC did interview Russ Harold, who is the father of the youngest player
00:21:30.020 who was killed, the father of 16-year-old Adam Harold. He died just a few weeks before his 17th
00:21:36.120 birthday. He was killed in the crash. And this is what his father has to say. Yeah, he agrees with
00:21:41.500 sadhu needs to be deported you know you sit in the in the crowd and you you you watch the kids
00:21:47.400 playing and it brings back memories of of your own son playing and he was you know he was a very good
00:21:51.480 player so it was it was always great to see him play he was always involved in the in the game to
00:21:56.320 a high degree and it just brings back those memories and then i even said to my wife the
00:22:00.700 other day there was one of the kids in the warm-up uh kind of similar body build to adam dark black
00:22:07.200 care and it yeah you get you get looking and you think you know that's that's him kind of thing for
00:22:12.340 a brief moment so yeah it's it's not easy it's not easy watching uh you know memories coming back of
00:22:18.480 that that should be us watching our kids and we should be here in my heart i'm not giving him a
00:22:23.820 second chance he's been here eight years too long already and he's he's taxing our health care
00:22:30.760 taxing our our legal system i i i think it's time to move on and i think it's time to move on too
00:22:37.680 the cbc is so manipulative they feature another family member in the story and talk about how
00:22:41.780 she's a christian and she does forgive him right you can you can be a good christian and you can
00:22:45.620 forgive someone who did something horrific that's not the same thing as saying that they get to stay
00:22:49.960 in your country and continue to milk the system and continue to get free benefits and the benefit
00:22:54.540 of being a canadian it's not the same thing and you can be a good christian and still believe
00:22:59.300 that he needs to go.
00:23:00.560 Our friends over at the Countersignal
00:23:01.960 have a petition, Deport Sadhu.
00:23:04.540 His last name is S-I-D-H-U, Deportsadhu.ca.
00:23:08.840 We want justice for Humboldt, justice for Canadian.

00:23:12.500 Tell the people in charge, tell the government
00:23:14.800 that they need to enforce the immigration laws
00:23:17.020 as they're written and deport this individual
00:23:19.400 out of our country.
