00:00:00.960Hi, I'm Candace Malcolm and this is the Candace Malcolm News Update.
00:00:05.280Today is Monday, March 9th, 2026, and these are your top stories of the day.
00:00:09.540We saw three layers of the gunshots that went through that could have had a devastating impact on individuals that could have killed people.
00:00:20.760It's very clear this was targeted at a synagogue. It's very clear.
00:00:24.060Okay, well I'm glad you corrected your deputy.
00:00:25.620very clear about the anti-Semitic nature and the hateful nature of the of this act this should be
00:00:32.800a Canadian vessel carrying a quarter billion dollars of Canadian energy instead these are
00:00:41.020Scandinavian vessels carrying American energy how did we get here he's been out of prison for three
00:00:46.380years and is fighting to stay in Canada but time is running out folks we have a great show we're
00:00:52.260going to talk about the latest in Operation Epic Fury and those huge rallies all over big cities
00:00:57.540in Canada over the weekend. We're going to talk about more synagogues being targeted in Toronto.
00:01:02.240Not good when your Jewish community is living in fear and their places of worship are getting
00:01:08.320shot up on a regular basis. I'm going to talk about Pierre Polyev's latest video. And at the
00:01:12.860end of the show, I'm going to talk to you about the unbelievable coverage of the man who caused
00:01:18.240the attack in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, and how the media is treating him with kid gloves,
00:01:23.940treating him with sympathy, and like he's a victim. It's unbelievable. And I talk about why
00:01:27.700I think he needs to go. He needs to be deported. Today's episode is brought to us by Silver Gold
00:01:33.120Bull, but more on them a little later. Okay, so hundreds of thousands of people showed up
00:01:38.540over the weekend in major cities across Canada. I'm talking about Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
00:01:43.280hundreds of thousands of people showed up to show their support to President Donald Trump
00:01:48.480and his Operation Epic Fury to take out the Iranian regime. It was really unbelievable.
00:01:54.760You see the images on your screen right now of these pro-freedom Iranians thanking the president,
00:02:01.700protesting the regime, calling for regime change, and hopefully taking their country back. They
00:02:06.960want their country back and they can't protest in the Middle East. This is sort of like the
00:02:10.940government in waiting. These are the people who want a liberal democracy in Iran. They want to
00:02:15.320rebuild their country and they're showing up in Canada to show that support. So here is what that
00:02:19.780looked like. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. USA. Thank you. USA. Thank you. USA. Thank you.
00:02:40.940And in just the latest confusion added to this story is our prime minister.
00:19:03.900Now, thankfully, his deportation is underway. And that is why he's getting all this media attention. The CBC is paying him as a victim. They want to encourage the government to let him stay. It's not just the CBC. It is also the Globe and Mail. They published an op-ed a couple of years ago saying deporting pseudos lessens us as a country, that we Canadians need to show how great we are by letting an individual like this stay. It's not just the Globe and Mail, folks. The Globe and Mail has become just absolutely terrible and awful.
00:19:31.060But the National Post, the allegedly conservative national newspaper, has also been publishing op-eds saying that this guy should stay.
00:19:38.360So back in 2021, we saw an individual called Parker Donham writing that deporting a Humboldt truck driver would be vengeance and not justice,
00:19:47.460and that it wouldn't make us better as a country, that he is better off in Canada, and Canada is better with him here.
00:19:53.600okay, well, as recently as just last week, John Manley also writing the National Post,
00:19:58.120the man responsible for the Humboldt Broncos crash paid his debt to society and he should not
00:20:02.920be deported. Guess what? It's not vengeance. It actually is justice because if you commit
00:20:07.780a crime, you become inadmissible to Canada. He is not a Canadian citizen. He was a permanent
00:20:12.440resident when he crashed and killed 16 people. And guess what? He pled guilty to dangerous driving,
00:20:20.440causing death and bodily harm he was sentenced to eight years in prison that makes him inadmissible
00:20:25.700following our immigration law following the law as it is written will mean that this person cannot
00:20:31.440become a canadian citizen that he will be deported this is what we have to do we have to start
00:20:35.820implementing our laws as they are on the books it's not controversial it is not it's not nothing
00:20:42.100to do with vengeance it's just the law as as is written if anything we would be making a special
00:20:46.860exception to allow this individual to stay because he's in the media, because he's in the
00:20:51.840news, because the elites have like sympathy for him. This is everything wrong with Canada, by the
00:20:56.200way, is that our elites have sympathy, toxic empathy, suicidal empathy, as Professor Gadsad
00:21:01.480would say, for the wrong people, right? Instead of having sympathy and empathy for the families
00:21:06.960of those boys who were killed and there was one young lady killed as well, how about we have
00:21:11.600sympathy for them? How about we have love and support for the victims, the true victims who
00:21:15.360are living a painful life without their loved ones. Instead, we're supposed to feel bad for
00:21:19.920this Indian man and his family. I don't feel bad for him at all. I want him to go. And even buried
00:21:24.360in the CBC story, the CBC did interview Russ Harold, who is the father of the youngest player
00:21:30.020who was killed, the father of 16-year-old Adam Harold. He died just a few weeks before his 17th
00:21:36.120birthday. He was killed in the crash. And this is what his father has to say. Yeah, he agrees with
00:21:41.500sadhu needs to be deported you know you sit in the in the crowd and you you you watch the kids
00:21:47.400playing and it brings back memories of of your own son playing and he was you know he was a very good
00:21:51.480player so it was it was always great to see him play he was always involved in the in the game to
00:21:56.320a high degree and it just brings back those memories and then i even said to my wife the
00:22:00.700other day there was one of the kids in the warm-up uh kind of similar body build to adam dark black
00:22:07.200care and it yeah you get you get looking and you think you know that's that's him kind of thing for
00:22:12.340a brief moment so yeah it's it's not easy it's not easy watching uh you know memories coming back of
00:22:18.480that that should be us watching our kids and we should be here in my heart i'm not giving him a
00:22:23.820second chance he's been here eight years too long already and he's he's taxing our health care
00:22:30.760taxing our our legal system i i i think it's time to move on and i think it's time to move on too
00:22:37.680the cbc is so manipulative they feature another family member in the story and talk about how
00:22:41.780she's a christian and she does forgive him right you can you can be a good christian and you can
00:22:45.620forgive someone who did something horrific that's not the same thing as saying that they get to stay
00:22:49.960in your country and continue to milk the system and continue to get free benefits and the benefit
00:22:54.540of being a canadian it's not the same thing and you can be a good christian and still believe
