00:02:19.400 It was reported by Sam Cooper of the Bureau that Justice Marie Hogue, the woman tasked
00:02:25.580 with overseeing the foreign interference inquiry, will not be releasing the names of the alleged
00:02:30.260 traitors.
00:02:30.860 I will not be publicly identifying parliamentarians who are suspected of having participated in foreign
00:02:40.700 interference activities or of having acted wittingly or unwittingly as agents of foreign states.

00:03:22.400 These warnings included cases of Canadian politicians knowingly accepting funds from foreign diplomats
00:03:27.500 in transfers consistent with money laundering.
00:03:30.080 It also highlighted the egregious actions of a People's Republic proxy causing the high-risk,
00:03:35.900 high-harm threat to some Canadians.
00:03:38.920 Citing fairness to elected officials accused of collusion and the sensitivity of classified
00:03:44.060 intelligence that could harm Canada's interests if disclosed, Hogue's decision not to reveal
00:03:48.620 the names of alleged collaborators ahead of an upcoming federal election comes amid growing
00:03:52.980 public pressure with most Canadians wanting the names to be released.
00:03:57.340 And just as Canadians aren't letting up on parliamentarians over this news today outside of the House of Commons,

00:04:44.660 Clearly, our institutions are not on our side. We need a whistleblower, and now.
00:04:49.380 It really shouldn't surprise Canadians at this point that the federal government seems to be shielding
00:04:54.420 the names of alleged traitors. After all, the federal government has done everything possible
00:04:59.720 to avoid accountability and to avoid scrutiny on this issue. First, Justin Trudeau just denied all
00:05:05.140 calls to do anything about this. When the public pressure began to ramp up on the Justin Trudeau
00:05:09.860 government to address foreign interference, he decided to appoint David Johnston to be the
00:05:15.420 independent special rapporteur on foreign interference. David Johnston, the former governor
00:05:20.960 general and Pierre Elliott Trudeau foundation member, as well as close ski buddy of the Trudeau
00:05:26.640 family, found that there was simply nothing wrong with foreign interference in this country
00:05:30.660 and didn't recommend a formal inquiry. But the pressure continued to mount and a formal inquiry
00:05:36.900 was launched. Trudeau appointed Justice Marie-Josée Hogue to oversee the commission. And it just so
00:05:45.280 happens that Justice Hogue happened to be a partner at the same law firm, Heenan-Blakey, while Pierre
00:05:52.560 Trudeau was also a partner. Think about this specifically in the case of China. Not only does China seek to
00:05:58.760 undermine Canada's independence and sovereignty, while also seeking to undermine Canada's national security,
00:06:05.440 China is also the country supplying the chemicals that are killing tens of thousands of Canadians
00:06:10.840 across our country, waging a drug war against innocent Canadians across our country, ripping up
00:06:17.220 cities and neighborhoods, tearing families apart, destroying cities like Winnipeg, Belleville, Thunder
00:06:23.720 Bay, Coburg, and London, Ontario to say nothing at all about Toronto and Vancouver. China is our number
00:06:30.280 one enemy. And we allegedly have MPs and senators, current or former, accused of taking money and
00:06:36.800 taking bribes from China to subvert Canadian democracy. This is an outrage. Yet Canadian leaders
00:06:44.560 will likely not say a single word about this today and hope that we all forget about it. Compare that
00:06:50.080 now to the reaction we have seen in the United States and Canada surrounding the allegations
00:06:54.940 leveled against tenant media. According to a Department of Justice filing, two expat Canadians,
00:07:00.660 Lauren Chen and her husband, Liam Donovan, are accused of taking $10 million from two Russians
00:07:06.240 involved in RT, the Russian state propaganda channel, to start a conservative media channel.
00:07:12.580 One other Canadian was an unwitting participant in this allegation, and yet the CBC and left-wing
00:07:18.080 Canadian politicians have been going berserk about this story and demanding justice.
00:07:22.640 Now, I believe in the presumption of innocence, as every Canadian should. And I understand that
00:07:27.600 allegations are just that, allegations. But do you think that Canadian politicians and Canadian
00:07:32.980 journalists are treating the allegations against the tenant media founders the same way as they
00:07:37.700 are treating the allegations of unnamed current and former MPs and senators involved in allegedly
00:07:43.360 subverting Canadian democracy on behalf of China, India, and Russia? Well, I'll let you be the
00:07:49.300 judge of that. Now, this is not to minimize Russian state interference at all. The question,
00:07:54.720 however, is what should be taken more seriously? An allegation of a $10 million money laundering scheme
00:08:01.860 on behalf of the Russian state to start a conservative media channel in the United States and Canada?
00:08:07.640 Or allegations that 11 current and former MPs and senators are wittingly or unwittingly involved in
00:08:14.700 taking bribes on behalf of foreign, hostile nations to subvert Canadian democracy and Canadian
00:08:20.800 sovereignty? I really don't think I need to answer that question for you. An Anos research poll found
00:08:25.480 that 68% of Canadians want the names of the alleged traitors released. So we can see, as Canadians,
00:08:31.700 who these members of parliament are, which parties they represent, and so we can judge the evidence
00:08:36.900 for ourselves. Now, isn't it strange that the ones who constantly rail on and on about protecting and
00:08:42.400 upholding democracy are the same people who are currently protecting and defending the names of
00:08:47.900 alleged traitors who have taken money to subvert our democracy? This is not their democracy. It's
00:08:54.120 our democracy as Canadians. The Canadian people should be the ones in charge of choosing our own destiny
00:09:00.860 by way of a democratic vote with full knowledge and full confidence that our system works. You are
00:09:07.860 innocent until proven guilty in this country. That is a given. But it does feel as though there is a
00:09:12.340 double standard at play here. And the Canadian people deserve transparency and honesty. Otherwise,
00:09:18.020 our entire political system, a system which is upheld by the people's belief in that system,
00:09:24.360 will collapse, thereby achieving the ultimate aims of the hostile foreign nations who paid
