00:00:00.000 You want to silence Canadians for their criticisms of you online?
00:00:06.080 Unbelievable. Forget about the luggage for one second.
00:00:09.340 These are people with ties to organized crime that have access to the airplanes
00:00:13.460 in the cargo areas of these planes where our children and families are going through every day.
00:00:18.880 This is unbelievable to me. This is a national security risk to me.
00:00:22.460 tonight we're going to be starting with a story that should concern every canadian who has ever
00:00:30.680 trusted an airport with their safety their luggage and their family's travel plans because when we
00:00:35.760 talk about crime in this country we often talk about what happens in our streets what happens
00:00:39.840 in our businesses but what happens when the problem is inside one of the most important
00:00:43.800 gateways in canada pearson airport it's our largest airport it's supposed to be one of the
00:00:48.820 most secure places in the country cameras are everywhere screening is everywhere restricted
00:00:53.480 access police yada yada yada we go in there thinking we're going to get completely screened
00:00:58.440 and now we're seeing serious questions about corruption involving the baggage handlers
00:01:02.860 people with access behind the scenes in places that the average canadian will never see
00:01:07.040 this is not just about lost luggage this is about trust it's about security and it's about whether
00:01:12.240 organized crime has found a way into the systems that are supposed to protect us so before we get
00:01:17.000 to the bigger conversation. Watch this clip. You know that this is the tag that gets put on any bag
00:01:22.720 that you check in. We have uncovered a scheme that's happening after check-in. Corrupt employees
00:01:29.360 at the airport are unsticking. Look how easy it is. They're unsticking your tag and they're putting it
00:01:35.660 onto bags that are filled with drugs. We have identified at least 17 cases where passengers
00:01:43.520 have ended up in countries like the Dominican Republic detained, Morocco, Philippines,
00:01:50.400 Korea. And what they're being accused of is smuggling drugs because their name is attached
00:01:56.780 to a bag filled with drugs. 16 of those 17 cases originated at Pearson Airport. There have been
00:02:03.980 six arrests of ramp and baggage handlers in this past year. But the concerning thing is
00:02:11.200 that these 17 cases are cases that have been caught. There is no way of knowing how many
00:02:17.720 times you may actually have flown with your name attached to a bag full of drugs that just happened
00:02:24.980 to make it through. Well, this is absolute madness. What is supposed to be the most secure
00:02:28.820 place in the country is literally infiltrated by organized crime. Let's not forget the 20 plus
00:02:34.700 million dollar gold heist that happened in Pearson Airport. Pearson Airport completely needs
00:02:41.160 different level of oversight. This is supposed to be the most secure place. Millions of Canadians
00:02:45.740 go through our largest airport in the world and organized crime have their fingers everywhere.
00:02:51.020 These are people, let me remind you, forget about the luggage for one second. These are people with
00:02:56.100 ties to organized crime that have access to the airplanes in the cargo areas of these planes,
00:03:01.520 where our children and families are going through every day.
00:03:05.020 This is unbelievable to me.
00:03:06.460 This is a national security risk to me.
00:03:08.960 Now, what you're probably imagining is how does this happen again?
00:03:11.280 So what they're doing is they're somehow smuggling luggages
00:03:15.940 full of cocaine and other drugs into the airport.
00:03:19.140 So they're somehow doing this.
00:03:20.840 Then they are taking off your baggage tag and putting it on that bag
00:03:25.640 so that when it arrives at the destination, they're going to go pick it up.
00:03:29.140 They're going to put an Apple AirTag tracker, whatever it is, in there to track it.
00:03:33.900 You're going to find your bag still there at your destination, your bag, but you're going to see a different tag on it.
00:03:40.540 Most people will not think anything of it.
00:03:42.400 They'll just remove the tag and they'll move on.
00:03:44.380 Meanwhile, your bag tag with your name is on that other luggage full of cocaine.
00:03:48.700 There's been stories.
00:03:49.880 People have been in other countries detained for months because they failed and it was hard for them to prove.
00:03:55.740 Right?
00:03:55.920 Hey, this is not my bag.
00:03:56.980 This is not my luggage.
00:03:57.860 but it has your name on it has your back tag information on it this is a huge national
00:04:03.120 security risk and i i've reiterated on the show repeatedly over and over again why do we see all
00:04:08.120 this crime happening in this country why do we see it from our streets to our businesses to
00:04:12.180 supposedly the most secure areas in our society in our airports it's because we don't go hard on
00:04:17.700 crime folks i don't know what else to say criminals are taking advantage everywhere that includes in
00:04:23.600 the most secure parts of our country, in our airports, because we don't have proper denunciation.
00:04:29.000 We don't have proper consequences for these criminals. Meanwhile, what we do is we put the
00:04:33.820 families of this country, your family, my family at risk every day. Why? For these criminals that
00:04:40.600 take advantage of all of us, that put us all at risk? Unbelievable to me. Again, this needs to
00:04:46.100 be a national emergency. This is a national emergency. We cannot trust the people that are
00:04:52.720 instilled to get our families onto an airplane and get us safe to our destination. They have
00:04:57.900 become corrupted. This is a huge problem. And we have to hold the government accountable.
00:05:03.560 Call out the failures of our government for, again, their ideology, but then in the practice
00:05:08.220 of securing our airports, they have failed, just like they have failed to secure our borders,
00:05:12.880 just like they failed to secure our businesses, and just like they failed to secure our homes.
00:05:18.140 Back to another story now. We're talking about this and holding accountability in place. I
00:05:22.620 talked about in a previous episode. This government doesn't know the word about accountability.
00:05:27.340 And if we use bad words or words that make people feel uncomfortable, you know what this liberal
00:05:34.080 government wants to do? They want to censor you. They want to censor me. They want to censor all
00:05:39.680 of us for our just criticism of the failures of this country. Watch this video. This is what
00:05:46.340 the Liberal MP said. Watch this.
00:06:16.340 encourage positive discussion so just want to put that out there to you thank
00:06:20.720 you so much one of my colleagues on the other side uses last 30 seconds to
00:06:25.220 implore meta to limit free speech and and I would like to use my first few
00:06:32.060 seconds to employ implore meta not to limit free speech poor baby you can't
00:06:38.660 handle mean comments online people are commenting on your videos and
00:06:43.820 and criticizing you and your failed policies and oh you can't handle that oh my poor coddled baby
00:06:50.140 i i treat my daughter i i'm more stern with my daughter and she doesn't cry and she's three
00:06:55.020 years old you are a grown man you come into the public service to do better for this country
00:06:59.820 and we have the right and you know getting into this role you will be held to account for your
00:07:03.420 action well you're not really held to account what we're trying to do is shine the light on
00:07:07.980 the incompetence that is happening and the failures that is happening in this country
00:07:11.340 and you want to silence canadians for their criticisms of you online unbelievable this
00:07:18.540 tells you everything that you need to know this tells you everything honestly this is not a
00:07:22.140 partisan issue i'm just making this very clear this is not a this is free speech your government
00:07:28.300 in power today wants to limit free speech because they get their feelings hurt online these people
00:07:35.340 would not survive two weeks in the private sector they would not survive these are not employable
00:07:42.140 people that can go commit to an objective and go ahead and hit it these are not people that can
00:07:47.820 look at themselves and their failures reflect and make improvement and go execute these are not
00:07:53.100 people that are should be at the mantle of running our country these are people that get their
00:07:58.060 feelings hurt because of things they hear online and want to limit free speech because of it
00:08:04.220 this is absolutely sick and anybody that cares about what our country stands for cares about
00:08:10.940 democracy cares about free speech should be outright criticizing this mp and our government
00:08:17.660 for what they are trying to do with a bunch of different bills that they have coming out right
00:08:21.420 now but also this talk that they want to limit our ability to criticize them and hold our
00:08:26.620 government accountable absolutely unbelievable this is where this is where like i really want
00:08:32.060 want to tell Canadians, if you do not start fighting and start demanding better for your
00:08:38.140 country, for your people, for your children, imagine what's going to happen five, 10 years
00:08:44.040 from now. Look at the decade of decline we've already had. Our children can't even afford
00:08:48.240 homes. People can't afford groceries. The cost of living is insane. Wages are flat. Do you want 0.91
00:08:55.060 more of this for your children? I know I don't. Again, I didn't start talking about this stuff.
00:08:59.940 I was focused on my career.
00:09:01.640 I was just totally focused on my career.
00:09:03.720 Ignore the politics.
00:09:05.140 Go build myself.
00:09:06.120 Go build for my family.
00:09:07.520 But at some point, you look around, not just for your own family, you look at your peers,
00:09:12.860 you look at your fellow Canadians, and you say to yourself, we can't go on like this
00:09:17.020 anymore, not for the greater good of, not just for myself, but for the greater good
00:09:21.720 of this country.
00:09:22.500 It is totally unbelievable.
00:09:24.660 Now, I will say, we always talk about on this show, you know, all the things that we want
00:09:28.420 to hold our government accountable to.
00:09:29.940 the one thing I always will remind people of
00:09:32.140 is there's always opportunity for you to go
00:09:35.340 build that future that you want in this country today.
00:09:38.240 With all of the issues that we face in this country,
00:09:40.720 I'm gonna tell you right now,
00:09:41.700 Canada is one of the best countries to live in in the world.
00:09:44.540 What we want to do is go on the forward path,
00:09:47.600 on the positive path.
00:09:48.660 We wanna continue to build on the success,
00:09:50.760 not retract back.
00:09:52.420 And while we are retracting back,
00:09:53.960 there is still so much good in this country.
00:09:55.260 I shared recently, I moved from Hamilton, Ontario.
00:09:58.180 I used to live in Hamilton,
00:09:58.840 born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, worked in downtown Toronto, spent the GTA 35 years of my
00:10:04.100 life over there, Burlington, Mississauga, lived in Oakville, all of that. I just moved to British
00:10:08.540 Columbia. And let me tell you, there is so much better opportunities for your quality of life
00:10:13.340 outside of the major metros. Okay, let me tell you that we moved to Kelowna, BC, we could not
00:10:18.100 be happier. It's been a year since we've been here. And I'm telling you the outdoors, the environment
00:10:23.220 that we have, just the different level of quality of life for my family. It's so much more improved.
00:10:28.280 I think I always use this analogy that this liberal government's policies has been akin to
00:10:34.520 a nuclear bomb that has dropped across our major metros. And that's where you feel the most impact
00:10:40.860 of their policies. But once you get out of those major metros, it's like you're, you still see the
00:10:45.940 effects, you still see the nuclear fallout that I call it, but you can get a much better quality
00:10:50.120 of life, which is why I always tell people, look, just like anything in life, whether that's for
00:10:54.260 your professional career, job opportunities, et cetera. There's still so much opportunity here
00:10:58.520 in this country, but you have to go and grab for it. You have to go take the risk and go take a
00:11:02.520 jump, take a leap of faith. And I will always tell you, my viewers, to go do that. While we
00:11:07.320 always talk about the things that are happening in Canada, the issues that we face today, I promise
00:11:11.320 you, if you just look outside of your immediate area, you look for other solutions, you look for
00:11:16.140 other opportunities, a better life can await you. While we still continue the fight, we still
00:11:21.660 continue to want better for our families and our children, for our country, while we can still go
00:11:25.980 do that, you can still get a better life today while we have that fight. You do not need to live
00:11:31.220 in the mess, the nightmare that this government has caused in your particular situation. So with
00:11:36.540 that said, you know, next week, again, I mentioned on the previous episode, I'm going to be out. So
00:11:40.420 you're not going to see an episode this week. I'm going to take, you know, in that same mindset,
00:11:43.960 my daughter and my family out to a Disney cruise from Vancouver to Alaska. We're really excited
00:11:47.820 for that. It's kind of her birthday gift. She's three years old. This is what life is about.
00:11:52.300 Enjoy the life that we have. Be very grateful and blessed that we live in such an amazing country.
00:11:57.420 At the same time, we'll continue to fight. I will see you guys all in the next episode,
00:12:01.500 but please make sure you subscribe to myself and Juno. Please make sure you subscribe to our
00:12:06.720 newsletter. This is a big part of why this partnership is so powerful in my eyes is the
00:12:10.640 fact that it's independent voices and perspectives like mine. Juno is the biggest independent media
00:12:15.600 outlet in Canada that we have. And we need to support independent media now more than ever,
00:12:21.780 now more than ever, so that we can hold the government to account so that we can educate
00:12:25.660 Canadians about the real problems that we're facing, but also at the same time, show Canadians
00:12:30.560 the hope that's out there, right? The opportunity that's out there, the better a quality of life
00:12:34.840 that awaits them in the short term by some things that you can do, but also in the long term.
00:12:39.500 With that said, enjoy your week and I'll see you in the next episode.
00:12:45.600 Thank you.
